wait i just remembered smth from Tw: Former Server Name

we were all fucking around in the general chat and again, for backstory and context, all the mods did rlly stupid shit For The Bit™ ok. like the server owner momentarily left and gave us server privileges over a fake, not at all serious argument (and joined back a few mins later) like that's an example of how far we'd Go For The Bit. But I digress

So. People were chatting in the general chat ok. All the mods were online and so were the Resident Active Chatters. and something abt Carlbot's banning command came up. So us mods were joking abt why we'd (temporarily!!) ban each server member in tht convo for Crimes that were not at all serious or real (shit like "c!ban [username] reason: called me dummy stupid on main once 😔")

Now. We never actually Ran the command. Iirc we'd type it like "c !ban" so it didn't actually trigger anything. But.

The conversation. Escalated. And one thing lead to another and. I typed.

"c!ban"

And lo and behold carlbot just fucking thanos snapped a random person in the server. fucking banned them. no reason was given. I don't even remember if they were active in the conversation or even online at the time. Carlbot gave the notification of "👍 Banned @[DiscordUser]#0000" in the channel and everyone. Lost. their fucking minds laughing.

Like. No one thought that would work or was even possible? Literally we had no idea it'd do anything and the other mods didn't either we were all legit SHOCKED it did anything. I remember that everyone was simultaneously losing their minds Laughing and losing their minds over how fucking BIZARRE and SUDDEN it was.

And what's worse is. I Don't think that person ever got unbanned.
