The man on the radio is frisky this Friday and fair flipping out track after track, starting with a foray to a second hand store for a raspberry beret. Weatherwise you'll need 'the umbrella', souwester, galoshes and coat. The traffic lady that's a devil for a duck is back, and the man on the radio brought her another from the many he found in Verona. The chef on the radio chewed the fat with crispy chicken and a cheesecake.

Today's groaner: a chicken saw a duck standing by the side of the road. The chicken called out to the duck ... "Don't do it pal, you'll never hear the end of it!" ;-D badoom tish ... here all week!!

A good night's sleep for Biggest Dog and I. She slumbers still on the settee, legs and eyes twitching as she chases something from her mind's eye.

Storm Ernesto / Storm Lilian ... back to back and whispering to one another, tail to tail and head to head. I'm sitting in the lounge happy to just be gazing out at the somewhat inclement weather. Once again we've reached the point where the met Office keeps naming the storms and I keep thinking it's now become just one long soliloquy from the rather peevish Gods. I'm thinking Terry Pratchett, Ice Giants and a borrowed lawnmower.

silly dirty window inspired piece, i painted the outside bit of the window with paint mixed with school glue to like represent the whole point of the song where its kinda like you dont bother to clean your own dirty window from the outside so it looks as if your side of the window is clean but the view looks shit no matter how much you clean it inside or sth like that, anyway this is in the front of my sketchbook.

The man on the radio is falling and flying through Friday, frequently flinging Mick J birthday boy in our general direction. Weatherwise, you may need to sit down for this. Ready? There's sunshine! No ... really ... there's ........ oh ... wait a minute ... (sighs) ... ach well, as you were. The traffic lady is full of chuckles and cheery chat about her dog ... and she may just have mentioned the motorists aswell. The chef on the radio is imminent and is searing tuna steak today.

Today's groaner: what happens when a colour blind artist visits an art gallery? ... everything is a pigment of the imagination ;-D badoom tish ... here all week!!

Can't resist those last moments of setting sunshine. Medusa is bathed in the glow against a backdrop of my filthy bird friendly kitchen window. Medusa and I have kept one another company for many years and she has provided home and hunting ground to a wide variety of spiders. Her delicate yellow flowers, almost lily like, appear infrequently ... usually only one, but this year quite a cluster. Perhaps this is the result of her Audrey like tendencies toward her short term tenants? She makes me smile.

Friday, Friday, Friday and I can see sunshine again ... so ... I'm off out into the garden with my coffee, cats and canines ...
