HI GUYS I'M RUNNING A PRINT SALE!!

I'm very excited about it because it will be my very first print sale ever. But a little bit of background before I go into that because I feel like it's warranted here on Tumblr. So over on bluesky, I did a December challenge where every day in December, I drew a designated prehistoric animal, most of which were dinosaurs, but not all of them. It was the first challenge of it's kind I've ever done, and I was incredibly proud of myself for finishing it along with all of the work and the holidays too. For once, I finished a 31-day art challenge. And then I didn't post it here on Tumblr. OOPS. Don't worry, I plan on bringing them all over here in March (the next month of 31 days), but if you'd like to see them all early, they are on my website in my print section. And all of them are currently available for purchase, with the lovely sale pitch of: Free Shipping on orders over $50. And yes, that works for ALL of my prints, the dinosaur ones are just featured at the moment. I'm really excited to see how it goes!

Unfortunately, I can only fulfill in the US, mostly because the prices of shipping overseas are ridiculous, but also because EU currently set new laws on small businesses and products coming into the country. So until that is sorted, only the US shipping for now. I hope you can understand.

And yeah, that's about it. Print Sale on my website! I still get a ton of support from my followers here and just from this site in general so it felt remiss to not advertise this sale here too. The prints are not super expensive (if anything the shipping might be more so the savings are good) and are of incredible quality, I check each one before they are sent out and you get a nice little personal drawing from yours truly :) Thank you in advance and I'll talk to you all soon <3

Silly ask: supposing the following, if you had to shop at one single store for the rest of your life, which store would you pick?

- whichever store you pick just so happens to expand its selection so it has everything you will ever need or want to purchase

- the pricing at the store is competitive

- they would maintain the same level of customer service and be just as knowledgeable as they currently are

- despite expanding their selection, the vibes stay intact

It's funny, my partner and I had the following exchange over the holidays:

me: you know, I'm starting to think I might have some undiagnosed adhd-- him: (interrupting me) LIKE WHEN YOU GET SO EXCITED AND OVERSTIMULATED IN FANCY GROCERY STORES THAT YOU JUST START LITERALLY CRYING??

But I truly do love Fancy Grocery Stores. I have a problem with them. They do something to me psychologically. All the different options and varieties. Yes, sometimes they make me freeze up and get emotional, but in a way I love like an addict. If I wanted to go wide with it, maybe I could attribute it to early childhood food insecurity, but I think maybe I'm just that basic bitch who sees a wall of different bulk heirloom beans and starts to imagine she has an entirely different personality. I like to think about the different colors of sweet potato. I have had recurring dreams about wandering through the bespoke cheese section. When I got locked out of my hotel in my pajamas in the middle of downtown Manhattan and had a panic attack, I just went to the Whole Foods and just sat down until I was calm enough to understand I was fine.

So I'd choose my favorite fancy grocery store of them all - my local co-op in the next town over from mine. It's called the Friendly City Co-op (cute, right?) and it smells perpetually like lavender and sweaty coffee beans and whatever Indian food is on the hot bar. That rattling sound is me spilling individual grains of fancy black wild rice onto the floor as I try to fill up a bulk bag. The handsome ponytail man who works there is saying "oh hi jess" in the most tired voice imaginable. I would go there every day. I'm literally driving an hour to go there later today. It makes me so happy.

#I can no way afford my fancy grocery store habit so the pricing part of this fantasy is very important #I'm gonna buy seeds and flake salt and cans of prosecco and sleepy tea and dinosaur kale today :D #charm stuff
