#dining in a café with Sabo

Hii, your art gave me an idea for a fanfic ( ＾ω＾ ). The fanfic is posted under the cut.

About the fanfic: "you" perspective, generally gender-neutral, except for the name, which is written like so <name> so readers can change the name if they like (⌒‐⌒).

There's also a bit about eating pork, so if you don't eat pork, you can skip or ignore that part (/--)/.

You were just sitting in a café, enjoying your day off when, suddenly, a handsome blonde man sits down on the chair opposite you. You stare at him in mild surprise, your mouth slightly ajar.

"It's a good day for coffee and tea, no?" are the first words out of his mouth. He pulls his top hat down as a group of Marines run past, hiding his scarred face from view. He also angles his body sideways.

"W-What? Who...?" you try to ask.

But before you could finish your question, the unknown man pulls up the front of his top hat, gracing you with his brilliant smile, then he gestures to a waiter passing by. "Hey, do you mind getting me earl grey tea? If you don't have those, black coffee is good too." After saying that, he turns to you and asks, "How about you? What would you like to have?"

Spluttering, you make a fool of yourself as you struggle to find the words to ask this man who he was or why he was sitting across you and talking to you like you two had a prior appointment.

The man just laughs and pats you on the shoulder. "I know. It's a little hard to believe, isn't it? But yeah, I am waaay more handsome than I look in those bounty posters."

Your eyes widen to the size of saucers, shocked to hear that this man was a criminal.

Seeing as you were still unresponsive, the man laughs and waves for the waiter, gesturing, saying, "Yeah, sorry about that. Think they'll order later. Thanks, bud!"

The waiter finally leaves.

You blankly stare at the man and, finally getting your system to work, you ask, "Who are you and why are you here? If you think you can mooch off of me or-or-or use me in a criminal way, then you have another thing coming!"

The man blinks, surprised. Then he busts out laughing, cluthing his stomach. His personality seemed so carefree to you and so contrary to his get-up: top hat, long coat, and boots; that you would think this man was a gentleman, a real one from the upperclass, but he seemed to just be wearing it as a costume, like he was playing pretend. Or maybe that's just his style, who knows?

"Excuse me..." The waiter comes back and sets down the man's order. "Earl grey tea for you, sir."

"Thanks!" The unknown man takes a sip. "Mm~ that hit the spot! It's a reaal cold morning today, huh!" He eyes you, over the rim of the teacup, as he takes another sip. "How about you? Aren't you getting something?" he asks, setting his cup down.

The waiter and the man look at you.

You sigh. "Yeah, um, that would be a café latte for me, with extra milk, please." Your stomach rumbles from hunger. "And some bread... Um, maybe some bread and soup? Not a bread bowl, though. Please, spare me from that."

The waiter laughs a little. "Alright, so that would be a café latte with extra milk, plain bread, and soup." The waiter bows before leaving you two alone again.

When you look at the man, you notice he's staring at you with a twinkle in his eye.

"What?" you ask, slightly miffed.

He shakes his head. "Nothing, but you did remind me how hungry I am." He grins, and you swear you remember seeing that same smile somewhere before, somewhere that's also a bounty poster.

"Huh. So what's your name?" you ask, resigning to your fate, to a quiet day out interrupted by a criminally-inclined stranger. 'Let's just hope he doesn't make me pay for his drink too, or at the very least, make me a hostage or something,' is what you think.

He takes off his top hat and rests it on the table, a pristine glass-topped steel table in a trendy café in France street. His hand messes up his curly hair, which was already quite messy to begin with, before looking at you and answering, "The name's Sabo. And you?"

You're quiet for a second, thinking about where you heard that name before. Then you shake your head, unable to remember. "I'm <Priscilla>, but my friends just call me <Princess>."

He laughs suddenly. After wiping a tear from his eye, the one not surrounded by scarred skin, he answers, "<Princess>, really?"

You frown. "Is there something wrong with my nickname?"

He shakes his head. "No, no, it's great! Your friends have amazing taste!" He says that but he laughs again, even almost spitting out the tea he was drinking.

You huff and roll your eyes at the man. "Excuse me, at least I have a nickname!"

He nods. "Right, right, having a nickname is better than nothing." He smiles, the twinkle in his eye growing.

That doesn't look too good.

But before you could elaborate on your thoughts, the waiter comes back with your food and drink.

At the smell of the soup, your stomach grumbles louder this time. Remembering you decided to have breakfast outside your apartment for once, you decide to ignore Sabo, the stranger interrupting your alone time, and instead focus on filling up your complaining stomach.

While you eat, Sabo goes quiet. He simply sits there and sips his tea. Eventually, the waiter comes back with his order, which is (surprise surprise!) the same as yours. He digs in as well, glancing at you from time to time.

You, on the other hand, are too focused eating the delicious warm soup (and was that a bit of pork meat in the soup?), enjoying your bread, and gulping down the café latte with extra milk.

After eating, you're left with a bit of latte, perfect for drinking slowly while your food digests.

Finally, you look at Sabo. Only then do you realize he's already eaten like three-four-five servings of... huh? Was that a bigger plate? What did he eat?

Looking at the stack of plates across you, you gulp your nervousness down before asking, "Are you going to pay for all of that?" You gesture at the plates with your finger.

He nods, looking at you strangely. Then his eyes light up and he starts laughing, covering his eyes while he does. "What? Did you think... that I was going to make you pay?" He continues to laugh.

The other patrons look at the two of you, their own quiet times interrupted.

You bow, apologizing, and they eventually move on. Sighing, you turn to Sabo with a fierce glare before whispering harshly, "What was I supposed to think? You mentioned a bounty poster and I--" Suddenly, you slap a hand over your mouth.

"Ahh! So it was that..." Sabo shakes his head. "Come on, don't you know me? I'm Sabo, the second-in-command of the Revolutionaries." He stretches his arms out, gesturing. "Did you think I would make a civilian pay for my meal?" He shakes his head again, looking disappointed.

Your jaw drops. "The--The Revolutionaries!?" Your hand, reaching for your cup of latte, shakes. 'That is even worse...How would I even get out of...'

Your thoughts are interrupted by his concerned gaze, his hand hovering over your own. "Are you alright?"

Suddenly, you're shaken out of your fears, the man in front of you just being so... so carefree... so free. You gulp and reply, "Yeah. Yeah, I'm alright. Just glad I don't have to spend my entire paycheck on a single meal."

He laughs, boisterous yet gentleman-like, leaving you wondering how he does it.

The waiter arrives with a little tray, delivering you your bill.

"But I didn't..."

"I asked for it. Don't worry," Sabo says. He hands the waiter some bills and tells him to keep the change, that it's his tip. Then he turns to you, extending a hand out. "Let's go?"

You shake your head, not getting it. "What do you...?"

You watch the waiter gawk at the amount of bills he was given. Then, the waiter thanks Sabo, even bowing deeply, before leaving you two.

"I'm sorry. Where are we going?"

He chuckles this time. "On a walk, of course. It's healthy to go on walks after a meal, yes? Besides..." He steps closer to you. "I don't know what you think of the Revolutionaries, but we're not bad people who dine and dash." He grins.

You blink. Subconsciously, your hand reaches for his, and you only realize this once he firmly holds your hand. "What?" You stare, shocked, at your treacherous hand.

Sabo just laughs. "Well then, <Princess>. Let's go on a trip, shall we?" He pulls you out of your cushy seat. With his other hand, he puts on his top hat.

The two of you walk down the street and, immediately, catch the eyes of some patrolling Marines.

"Shoot! They're still here?!" After saying this, Sabo suddenly hoists you up. Although instead of carrying you like a princess, he carries you like a bag of potatoes, slung over his shoulder.

"Hey! What do you think you're... Ahh!" You scream as he jumps up, inhumanely high at that, and, landing at a rooftop, promptly begins to jump from one rooftop to another. You scream all throughout, begging him to take the streets like a normal person.

He laughs all the while. "Sorry, <Princess>. This way's faster. Besides, you're safe with me. I promise." He winks.

Your heart skips a beat, although it might also be because of the way you two are travelling, so you scream, slamming your fists on his back, "You jerk! Put me down, right now!"

And that was the start of your, rather, eventful day off, as well as the beginning of your transition to a less cushy way of life, but not one any less joyful or fun.

The weather is getting chillier so keep yourself bundle up and warm so you don’t catch the influenza. 2018 is approaching very soon so I hope everyone has oodles of fun plans to spend the holiday with friends and family. Not to mention, shopping to get done. Don’t get hurt on Black Friday. Well, enough said, we also have some oodles of fun events and merch to share w/ you so you know the drill. Before we begin, let’s have a moment of silence first. Last week, Hiromi Tsuru, voice of Bulma and Shakky, regretfully passed away. It was informed that she was found in her vehicle unresponsive. Investigation of her death will be informed later. So sad that another great seiyuu passed on. We will surely miss her. We must go on. She surely wouldn’t want us to be sad forever. Let’s begin. First off, the chapter resumes this week so let’s see how Luffy will outrun Big Mom this week. Next this past weekend’s episode, Brook finally gave them baddies the hard rock attack. OH YEA! Meanwhile, Chopper and Carrot finally made their move to outwit Brulee and her goonies while Luffy and Nami get a visit from Pudding. Next time, she shares a secret that will shock the two. What could it be? Tune in this week to find out. Now on with the goods! First, let’s give a b-day to the loveable bear mink of all, Bepo! Today is his birthday so if you like to purchase his b-day button or enjoy his delish beverage, head on to the tower. Now that we brought up the topic, look who came to visit us. Tongari-san says that winter event is gonna get stylish and magical. This week, the OP winter event will start on Thursday. They’ll have some new goods such as these colorful winter buttons of all the gang. More goods will be announced this week. The buttons and other goods will be in stock so if you’re looking for neat Christmas presents, be sure to drop by. Next, The Mugiwara Café will be having a campaign event by giving out free OP magnet clips if you dine. They will have 20 kinds of clips. Next, Sanji’s Oresame Restaurant will be giving out new character coaster where you order from the a la carte menu, and you’ll be given one free. This time, they’ll have Franky, Nami, Sanji, Vivi, and Sabo. Also, the restaurant will be taking reservation for those who like to have Sanji’s Christmas dinner. It will come with an appetizer, main course, dessert, and beverage. If you make a reservation, you’ll be given a free bromide card of Sanji and Zoro. Reservations will begin Dec.4th. There’s more. The tower will decorate the place with Whole Cake Island attractions including the Germa 66 similar to the one at Odaiba. That’s not all! The mini games have new prizes. Cost to play is 500 yen. New prizes will be PVC straps of the gang, jolly rogers, mini plastic balloon straps, adorable snowmen straps and bottle openers, and much more. GUA! Such wonderful prizes! Next, FIGURINES! Major! Major new ones! First, this awesome King of Artist 20th anniversary figurine of Luffy in his red suit from the Jump Cover. He will be released on Dec.26th. Next, this Thursday, they will released these new WCF Run Run figurines of East Blue such as Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Shanks, Buggy, and Mihawk. Moving on, this new SCulture figurine of Ace will be released on Dec.12th. They’ll have color and clay versions of him. Lastly, SII and Flag Diamond Ship of Robin and Nami will be released on Dec.7th. All figurine will be stocked at arcades so if you have luck on your side, get your coins ready and beat that crane! Next, guess who’s birthday is approaching next month? I’ll give you a hint. He has a blue nose and loves cotton candy. Yup! You nailed it! It’s none other than the adorable shy doctor, Chopper! His birthday is on Christmas Eve. To celebrate his birthday, the Mugiwara Stores will be having a campaign for those who purchase more than 1000 yen worth of merch, you’ll get a free bromide card of him from one of the chapter covers. The store will be selling this cute bromide picture and birthday button of him. More new goods of him will be released later. The tower will release news of upcoming goods and event of Chopper later as well. Next, Broccoli will be selling these new adorable big sizes chick plushies of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Ace, Sabo, and Law at Jump Festa. They’ll accept pre-orders for now I think, but it’s possible they’ll have them for sale. The original release date of these plushies will be in March of next year. Next, German toy co. Steiff will be selling this pricey yet adorable teddy bear wearing Chopper’s hat and shorts. Only 1500 of these bears will be made as the price for this bear is around 420.00 bucks because of the brand name. If you are into collectible European goods, we’ll leave a link. It will be released in February. Next, Premico will be selling this new black leather wallet of Ace decorated with flames including his hat skull insignia. They will accept pre-orders now. Mugiwara Stores will also have them available as well. Ask the cashiers to update when they’ll have it. Premico does not accept oversea orders. Unless you have a friend or relative that lives w/in the country, you purchase it and have them sent to their home and they can mail it to your native country. Next, DMMVR Theater has updated a preview of attractions. The event will also be handing out meat lamps to enjoy the show. Goods and food will be updated later on. However, if you purchase an early ticket, you either have the choice to purchase one where you’ll get a free t-shirt or a long towel. Follow their Twitter page. The event will take place in Yokohama. Next, new goods will be released from December to March such as stationary like these mechanical pencils, cleaning cloth, folder, coin purses, new straps and keychains of Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Chopper, and Ace (note: the keychains will also be available for sale at Jump Fest.  Minna-san! Happy! Happy Monday! We are so so sorry for not posting last week. We were so exhausted from our trip we dozed off. We deeply apologize for the delay. Trips sometimes get us exhausted, but we won’t make excuses so to make up, we have more goods to add from last time. Please take it as token of apology. However, we do like to share our excitement. We went to USJ to enjoy the OP premiere show and dine at Sanji’s restaurant. You can look at our pics on our Twitter page under the name yoshi4sushi or FB fan club page, Los Mugiwara. We have all of our pics on both of those sites. Check it out when you get a chance. So we got cool stuff to share with you so you know the drill. First off, the chapter resumed this week. The gang is having trouble shaking off Big Mom and must rely on King Baum to get through the forest, but the critters get in the way and the sugar queen is approaching fast. Finally, Pudding catches up with Chiffon, and begs for her help. However, Chiffon denied her help knowing that she no longer wants to aid her family. Pudding convinces her that her goal is not help BM, but to help Luffy and the gang, and it looks like she means it. Will Chiffon aid her sister? Or is Pudding still being devious to trick her? Guess we’ll know later on. No chapter this week, but will resume next week. Yes, another break. Be patient. Oda-sensei does deserve to take a breather or two. Moving on, this past weekend’s episode, Luffy is still struggling with his fight against Cracker now that his identity has been revealed. His infinite biscuit army keeps coming back, and Luffy is reaching his limit with his gear 4th. Meanwhile, Sanji’s older bros, Ichiji and Niji have come back from their trip, and Sanji feels uneasy to see them after a long time. How much can Sanji take the abuse and haze from his rotten family? Guess we’ll see. Next, week, he stands up to them, but at a heavy price. What could that price be? Tune in this weekend. Now on with the goods, first off, Tongari-san send us an email. He couldn’t make it cause he was exhausted so he wrote to us. He says that the Tokyo Pirates Festival is still going on at the tower. First, you can still look at the second part of the exhibition of OP which the theme is battle. Second, this week until the 10th, Sabo will be making his appearance for photo shoots. Even getting pics with the Straw Hats. However, you have to get there early to get a pic ticket. On the 8th, Buggy and Puggy will also be there for the pic. It’s an one day event. Bon Clay will be there from the 11th till the 18th. Lastly, Law and Bepo will be there from the 19th until Sept.3rd. Moving on, Franky’s cola bar will be selling these delish ice shavings of Nami which is orange flavor, Chopper which is strawberry flavor, and Robin which is grape flavor. If you order either of them, you’ll get a free coaster with it. Chopper’s strawberry flavor was really delish. Moreover, the Mugiwara Café and Sanji’s restaurant will be serving two delish birthday dishes, and also, they have a new menu. First off, Buggy���s birthday is is on the 8th. To celebrate, they will serve his Red Nose Capellini pasta dish with a red cabbage, sliced eggplant, and a cherry tomato on top. Also, it’s also Cavendish’s b-day. His b-day is on the 30th I think. They will serve this beautiful apple lemon soda with a rose and flower. If you order either of them, you’ll get a free b-day bromide card. Next, the new menu they have look very delish. First, they have Ace’s roll cake with some orange sauce and berries. Next dish, Law’s rare cheesecake hat with some chocolate syrup drops, and cookie crisps. We ate this dessert, and it was very delish. Our recommendation if you there are any cheesecake lovers. Moving, they are also serving Ussop’s garden pizza, Nami’s orange semifred ice cream cheesecake, and finally, Robin’s berry panna cotta with some rich sweet n’ sour berry sauce with thick panna cotta and edible flowers. GUA! SO DELISH! Moreover, the Mugiwara store and Tongari stores are selling some awesome goods. Both stores are selling dessert cake, salty cracker snacks, fans, and individual tote bags of each character. For badges, you can only buy them at the Tongari store. Next, if you live in Japan, you can still buy the park pass for the whole year, and if you purchase it, you will receive this adorable summer hang figurines of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Ace, Law, and Sabo. This can only be purchased online. The tower will not accept direct purchase. One more thing, they have announce early on the upcoming Halloween event that will start from Setp.16th until Oct.31st.Very early, but there still some news that will be kept under wraps until then. However, they will have another costume contest and this time, they will have two contests for kids over 14 and up on Oct.14th and 21st. Children contest will be on Oct.28th. Winners will get awesome prizes. More details will be announced later. Also, navy soldiers will be patrolling the park so if you dress like a pirate, be sure to watch out for them. They’ll get you! Ha ha ha ha ha! Moving on, here’s the cover for vol.2 of the OP magazine which has been released last Friday along with vol.86 of Whole Cake Is. Vol.87 will be released in November. Next, here are the new DVD cover svol. 8 of the Zou/Rookie arc with Luffy and Grant and vol.1 of Whole Cake Isl. arc which has Luffy. If you want to order it, look it up on the Jap. website of Amazon. Next, LINE has two new stickers set. One set are OP villains, and the third set is all Sanji. Very cute ones. To get these, you either have a Japanese mobile phone to purchase them or have a friend send them to you. We found a way to purchase LINE stickers from Japan. It’s a bit pricey, but if you wish to purchase cute stickers, add Takara Japan to your friend list. You can also find them on Facebook. All you have to do is send them a message of what stickers you want, and they’ll send an invoice from paypal. You pay and they’ll send you the stickers. They’re 4.00 bucks for each set. Bit pricey, but if you are into cute stickers from Japan, this is easier instead going through some hard tech stuff. Let us know if you need help. Next, this Thursday, arcades will be stocking this new battle version figurine of Zoro. They have also stocked the next Grandline DX of Sanji and Judge along with some WFC chibi figurines of the Vinsmoke family. Get your coins and game face on and beat the crane. Also, if you’re a fan of Mihawk, the POP DX figurine of him has a discount of 19% off. It will be released in December. We’ll leave a link if you wish to order it. Moving on, two weeks ago, Wonderfest displayed some new upcoming figurines for this year, and early next year. First, they have they have this pricey Smart Doll of Nami. No exact date, but it will be probably be released this fall or early winter. Next, they have this new figurine of Reige. We believe it’s either Branpresto or POP. Not sure yet, but more details will be released. Moving, here’s a new POP BB style of Robin, and boy, she looks very erotic in this one. Next, here’s the new SOC figurine of Ace, and another POP figurine of Jinbei. More details of released dates will be announced later on. Last, but not least, Mugiwara stores will be selling these awesome matsuri goods. Each store will be selling different characters. Shibuya will have Luffy and Law, Osaka will have Ace and Whitebeard, Nagoya will have Zoro and Sanji, and Fukuoka will have Luffy and Chopper. They’ll sell bromide cards, towels, cushions, t-shirts, and buttons. They will be released this Friday. It’s first come, first serve so if you’re an early bird, you should get ahead start. Next, HKDS store are accepting orders for these new kokeshi dolls of Luffy, Zoro, and Chopper. It will be released in mid-October. It will come as a whole set. Next, Jump Station in Osaka are selling these acrylic keychains of Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Law, Ace, Marco, Shanks, Sabo, Chopper, and Bartolomeo. Each has a station name in Osaka. Last, but not least, Jump stores are selling these adorable tissue pouch straps of Laboon that you can take with you when you get the sniffles. Phew!  A HAPPY MONDAY TO EVERYONE! I hope everyone had great weekend. As for me and the crew, we went to the tower to hang out, and take our pic with the great sexy pirate himself and his adorable companion, Law-kun and Bepo. Yesterday was your last day to take a pic with him so I hope everyone got a chance to take a pic with them. Ok, we can’t waste any time, we got loads of stuff to share with everyone so you know the drill. First off, the chapter resumes this week so let’s see if Luffy’s angry punch got through the handsome chef’s head to finally break free from the clutches of Big Mom and his rotten family. Next, this past weekend’s episode was pretty funny. Everyone was surprised to see Carrot on board to join their rescue quest. We then see that Sakura Drum Island is still cold, but flowing in pink snow. It looks like Dr. Kureha is gonna join Dalton, the new king, to the summit at Reviere. Next, Dressrosa is still under construction from the battle, but everyone is all happy living in peace. Rebecca, Viola, and King Riku will be joining the summit as well. In the end, a news coo had delivered a big news about Baltigo Island being in ruins, and the disappearance of the Revolution Army! EH?! What has become of our Sabo-kun and everyone else? Tongari-san says that this year is all about Sanji-kun, the tower has awesome stuff and events to celebrate his special day. First off, the tower will be selling this gorgeous birthday button of him. Next, if any of you freaky fans out there would like to be close to him, your wish has been granted. The tower will be giving away tickets to get your pic with him. It’s first come, first serve. The crew and I went so early to get our ticket to get our pic with Law-kun and Bepo. Tickets will be given at the 5th floor. We will leave a link with schedule and all. Next, the Mugiwara Café will be serving two delish dishes to celebrate his birthday. They will serve this dish of Sanji’s curry suit with some spices, and rice. The tower will be celebrating Sabo’s birthday. His birthday is on March 20th. The café will also be serving a dish for his special day. They will serve this scrumptious dish of Sabo’s Dragon Claw spicy chicken with a bowl of spicy soup with some noodles served with a seaweed hat that will have a blue jelly googles. If you order this dish, you will also receive a free birthday bromide card of him. The store will also be selling his birthday button along with other two birthday buttons of Mihawk and Shanks. Both they share the same birthday as Franky. Next, the tower will be selling some popcorn cups that will come in flavors of Luffy’s cheese curry, Nami’s caramel, Sanji’s cheese, and Chopper’s sweet strawberry. Also, the tower has decided to extend the Treasure Hunting game event until April since it has become very popular among the visitors. You can participate in this game. Just go to the Tongari Island store, and tell the cashier you want to participate. You have the option to pay a fee to play for 45 min. or 2 hours. If you solve the questions, you will be given a free folder from Bartolomeo, Sabo, or Law. They are not for sell. The pamphlet will also include in other languages such as English, Chinese, or Korean. Lastly, the theme park still has the Tongari Artwork shop. It’s a 700 yen fee where you can make your own plastic sticker that you can stick on your window. No time limit. Take as long as you need if you like being a perfectionist. The store will also be selling Franky’s birthday button. It’s first come first serve on the birthday buttons so if you wanna purchase one, catch the early worm as the early bird. Next, the theme park JUMP WORLD will also be celebrating Sanji, Franky, and Sabo’s birthday. Sanji’s Mademoiselle café will be serving this delish dessert of Sanji’s berry opera choco cake, Franky’s SUPER big cola float. Yup, some tasty ice cream on top, and lastly, Sabo’s Mera Mera coffee jelly parfait. You have to purchase your theme park ticket to dine at this café. Next, E-SHOP will be selling this adorable acrylic stand and mobile battery of Chopper in his Easter outfit and Sanji. We will leave a link if you like to order them. Next, ARITARITA will be selling some new coffee mugs of Zoro and Sanji. You can also purchase other characters such as the ASL brothers and Law. The Mugiwara store are selling the mugs as well. Moving on, this coming month, the gachapon machines will be selling these adorable new mini hanging figurines of Bartolomeo , Law-kun, Aokiji, Kid, and Smoker.  Moving on, HKDS will be selling these new ukyo-e woodblock print fame of Mihawk and Shanks. We will leave a link if you like to order them. They also have the other characters. The Mugiwara stores are also selling these woodblock prints. They will give updates of when they’ll sell the frames of Mihawk and Shanks. Next, the Kumamoto earthquake project will be holding a rally event of OP, and will be releasing another design train. Detail can be found in the link we will include. Last, but not least, a new update on the OP marathon run. They will hold an escape game.
