This was not scheduled XD But I wanted to draw something, so here are some cute MK interactions with the kids and a Wukong feeling a bit left out. Here is some context:

Dishi, at the sweet age of 5, wanted to be the same as MK and imitated him in almost everything, even the way he tied up his hair. Fun times until the kid decided to jump off the roof to see if he could fly... I'll just say he broke a few bones that day. Luckily, he is fine now.

DingBang grew up with a taste for jackets that began when, at the age of 4, MK wrapped him in his Monkey King jacket. He spent all day wearing the garment until he fell asleep, taking care not to soil it or step on it with his feet. MK got a nice photo of that moment, as you can see.

Hao is usually not as attached to MK as his other siblings, at least not like his younger brother Mao, but there are times when he shyly asks for some attention, and MK, like a loving father, gives it to him. Although it is sometimes difficult for MK to spread the same amount of attention among his five children, he does his best not to leave anyone out.

Mao didn't have an interaction with MK in this drawing, and maybe that's why his patience with Wukong isn't too much, sorry. He's usually not that bad, but when he feels left out or ignored, his mood becomes irritable, and sometimes his temper clashes with the first person he meets, and unfortunately, most of the time that person is Wukong. Ha ha ha...

BaoBao usually has her hair tied up most of the time in two buns, but when it's time to sleep, the curly mane on her head is released. So we could say that her beautiful hair was inherited from MK, although his is somewhat more curly.

I decided to be messy with this because otherwise, MK Dad AU posts will be sooo slow XP

Coraline au! Neito Monoma who is on the fence about giving you the creepy button-eyed doll that weird kid Kaminari got you. He still cares about you,he doesn't want to give you a voodoo doll of yourself.

Coraline au! Neito Monoma who is annoyed beyond belief when you make him open the door in the wallpaper,both of you being met with a bricked up wall,and he gets even more annoyed when you call out to him once he's already left the room.

"You didn't lock it!"

And the groan/scream you were met with once you taunted him prompted you to zip it for the rest of the day.

Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma who welcomes you with open arms the second you get to the other world,what do you mean he usually doesn't talk to you anymore? Silly [Name]! He's the other Monoma! The one with button eyes,remember?

Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma who fixes up your cuts from the previous day when you went adventuring through the woods behind The Pink Palace,did Monoma never fix those for you? How un-best friend-like of him!

Coraline au! Neito Monoma who doesn't believe a word you're saying when you tell him and Kendou about it the next morning. He just points you towards Ms.Yaoyorozu and Ms.Jirou,telling you that they would love to hear about your dream.

When you remind Coraline au! Neito Monoma that he called them dingbangs the other day,He just chuckles to himself before walking off,leaving you alone in the kitchen.

Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma who smiles to himself as he hears the little door open once again. You've come back,of course you did! Everything is perfect here. He doesn't ignore you,Kendou is out of her office more,and that dumb kid Denki is finally quiet. What more could you want?

Coraline au! Neito Monoma who realizes you're drifting away from him. He doesn't think of the possibility that there's another version of the world you live in locked away in the little door in the wall,He thinks his coldness as of late has pushed you away.

So,Coraline au! Neito Monoma tries to convince you to come to the grocery store with him after dropping off Kendou. And when you say no,his smile falters before he leaves,saying a quick,

"Won't be long.."

Before leaving you to your own devices. Which causes you to enter the other world,once again..

Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma who made you clothes to go see Ms.Yaoyorozu and Ms.Jirou with Kaminari,how nice of him! How unfortunate he wasn't there to greet you when you came in..

Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma who smiles and laughs with Kendou as you recall the show of magic and wonder you saw before your eyes only moments ago. Aww,You look so happy right now! Such a shame you can't be this happy all the time.

Oh,but you can! Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma offers you the wonderful honor of staying here forever,just one tiiiinnnyyyy condition to it..

"For you,our little doll."

When you open the small box he gave you,buttons were what you found. But while your expression turns to one of confusion and horror,Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma smiles with glee. But his expression quickly mirrors yours as you push the buttons away,don't you want to stay here forever? You don't want to go back to being ignored and thrown to the side! Stay here,let him love you.

Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma who just doesn't understand why you want to go back,the real Monoma isn't even nice to you! He's been neglecting you since he realized he could keep you at arm's length and know you wouldn't leave! This world has everything you could ever want,and you want to leave?

Of course,Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma doesn't care for you in the slightest,No..He's just hungry. He needs lives to eat,he wants another soul to add to the collection of ghosts that have already had their lives stolen for centuries. Atleast,that's what the cat told you.

"He wants something to love, I think. Something that isn't him.. Or maybe he'd just love something to eat."

"Eat? That's ridiculous! Friends don't eat their friends.."

"I don't know,how do you taste?"

He chuckles,clearly he can't read the room right now.

Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma who tries to convince you to stop acting so recklessly,but fails when you stand your ground. How unfortunate,he has to result to throwing you into some type of prison behind the mirror. How sad..He thought you'd be a little more compliant like the last three.

"You may come out when you've learned to be a loving friend!"

And when you eventually make your escape,you realize the Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma has taken the real Monoma and Kendou hostage. So,you have to go back,proposing a game to play with the Other! Coraline au! Neito Monoma.

With some help from the cat,you win the game and barely escape with your life. When Coraline au! Neito Monoma and Kendou Itsuka come through the door,they're shocked to see you in such a state. You missed them? They've only been gone an hour! What has gotten into you?

"Neito! Kendou! I missed you so much!"

"Missed us?"

Coraline au! Monoma who averts his gaze from you,the slight blush on his face almost immediately disappearing when he noticed his favorite snow globe was broken. He seems even more ticked off when he sees blood dripping from your knee,shaking his head as he spoke.

"And you cut your knee.."

"[Name],I asked you to count the windows! Not put your knee through them.."

Worry is written all over the their faces,Mainly on Coraline au! Neito Monoma's who picks you up and forces you to go patch your knee up so you didn't bleed on any of his expensive possessions.

Coraline au! Neito Monoma who knows he's not worried about the furniture,you can bleed all over it for all he cares. But,he's worried about you..First you almost tackle him and Kendou in a hug as you say you missed them when they were barely gone an hour,And now you've got a bloody knee! He's gotta keep an eye on you..But that's something that can stay between him and his mind.

And in turn for being a champ when Kendou patched up your knee,Coraline au! Monoma throws a garden party for you. Well,that was half of the reason..The other half was that Kendou's presentation went well,but you didn't need to know that.

Coraline au! Neito Monoma who has a hunch that something else happened while he and Kendou were gone,but he doesn't push any further than you're willing to tell him. Though..he hasn't seen you too involved in the little door now. Why is that?

Quick Snark of Operation Hail Storm by Brett Arquette, Part 12

Hail had married his first wife after he had broken up with her, and she had then tried to commit suicide.

That sounds healthy...

“I know that you like me wearing tight stuff,” she said.

Hail didn’t know how to respond. Was that a joke or was she serious?

Kara added, “You know, so you can tell I’m not carrying any hidden CIA cameras or microphones and such.” She cocked her head to the right and smiled at Hail.

He still didn’t know if she was joking and that made him uncomfortable. Then he suddenly realized that she was trying to make him uncomfortable. Well, two could play that game.

Hail said, “In your line of work, I’m sure you are accustomed to wearing very little.”

Kara must have expected a different response. Her smile quickly faded, and her right eye twitched.

To be fair, she started it.

“Well, we need to get you into that fancy gym I’ve been using. How about later tonight we do a little workout together?”

She said the word workout almost sexually, and Hail couldn’t help but connect the dots in his mind.

The door to the Asian restaurant had black block lettering painted on the white steel door that read ASIAN.

I would ask if Arquette knows that “Asia” isn't a country... but I'm afraid to find out what the answer might be.

“Gage showed me the school department of the ship, the classrooms and such. You have quite a large gaggle of teenagers in training, don’t you?”

I know that I shouldn't be surprised that there's a school area on the ship, considering what Hail told Kara about adopting all of those orphans in the previous chapters...

But going off of what I was saying about the fucking restaurants and the mall... OF COURSE THEY HAVE A FUCKING SCHOOL ON BOARD. BECAUSE WHAT DON'T THEY HAVE?!

“Do I look like someone they would send in to do video surveillance?”

The attitude that “I'm pretty, therefore I get ordered to go sleep with targets” is gross and sickening.

Especially when it comes from the lips of a woman. (Written by a man, I'd like to add.)

“I mean you are content with plucking people off the FBI’s Top Ten Terrorist list. So, what’s the fascination with this one guy?”

Might have something to do with the simple fact that the CIA mentioned him.

If they'd said “John Smith”, then Hail would be going after John Smith instead.

It's simple logic.

WHAT IS THIS BOOK'S OBSESSION WITH THE MOTHERFUCKING FLOWER. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THAT IT HAS COME UP.

And then once I find him, I want to shove the hardened tip of that 9K333 Verba right up his ass and pull the trigger. Does that sound harsh, demented or unstable to you, Mr. Hail?”

Kind of, yeah.

Chapter 23 thoughts: I know that I sound like a broken record about how much that I don't care... but Arquette has not yet unlocked enough writing skill in order to unlock SYMPATHETIC BACKSTORY for this 100% unsympathetic character.

Granted, it's interesting... but it's not plot-related. So I don't give a flying fuck.

Dingbang also hated the men he worked with. They were young and from the city and had never been forced to work as hard as he had. They didn’t appreciate having a regular meal. They thought that they deserved more and looked down on Dingbang Wang and his humble background.

A few even made fun of his name because it rhymed. He had tried to explain that both his first and last names were the ten most common names in China, but they harassed him about it, nonetheless.

How to tell that Arquette literally knows nothing about China or their culture in two paragraphs.

Chapter 24 thoughts: So you know this plot that we've been building towards? Yeah. We're not going to talk about that right now. Instead, have some random Chinese fisherman who seems obvious to the fact that he's actually carrying missiles instead of fish.

Chapter 25 thoughts: At least this chapter was short? The Russian dude and some... random Asian pick up the missile from the fishing ship.

I'm sorry to say that for now, MK Dad AU is on hiatus (U.U)

And it's not because I lack ideas, but because, at the moment, I don't have much interest, and I don't know when I'll get back to it. But I can share with you some sketches I made before I became obsessed with COTL.

Because yeah, I'm a little into that right now hehe...

But anyway, here are some of the sketches I made based on some little ideas I had at the time:

A little interaction with the main MK clones, although I didn't get around to drawing all of them.

I was still figuring out how to draw Lego style. I think that's part of the reason I left it unfinished because by then I had already changed the way I drew them.

A little interaction between DingBang and his little brother Mao. I think this was intended to be a small animatic or some comic.

These little guys wanted to make a video of their dad to sell for candy or something XD

The children. This was a letter of introduction.

They are ordered from oldest to youngest: Dishi, 13 years old, DingBang, 12 years old, Hao, 10 years old, Mao, 8 years old, and BaoBao, 5 years old.

This one just needed a proper background and some corrections to the text, and it would be done.

do mk's kids have any friends?

Hehehe, well of course (ouo)

1) Dishi has a small study group related to school; although it is a public school, they are more classmates than friends and usually meet when they need to do group tasks. Typically, Dishi occupies the role of leader, and each task done by his group receives a good grade. Meanwhile, outside of school, he has developed a kind of brotherhood with the housewives association of his community. Here, MK moved with the children to a bigger apartment, so he usually shares some interesting gossip with the ladies when he sees them on his way home, whether he's returning from school or has gone to the market for supplies.

Here I highlight the fact that he helps MK with household shopping, cleaning, chores, and sometimes taking care of his own siblings.

2) DingBang is almost a social butterfly and has a group of friends both at school and outside of school. However, in reality, this boy is nosy and usually does almost anything to be on the same page with any group of interest to him, whether it be hanging out with the cool kids, arcade kids, or even adults who show some kind of overlap in his interests. So I would say that this child has "friends", although I would call them "casual friends" and not so much true friends.

But he still doesn't realize that.

3) Hao has classified Jin and Yin as his friends, and according to him, they meet weekly to hang out and play while he waits for his dad to pick him up / rescue him. Outside of them, unfortunately, Hao does not have any friends; according to him, it is difficult for him to interact with children his age, and this has caused him to be somewhat bullied at school. Although the others don't know the latter.

He prefers to be with his family because, at the end of the day, it is with them that he gets along best.

4) Mao doesn't have a good reputation since he was caught stealing in class, but somehow he always has some classmates that he "deals" with, and somehow he passes that off as friendship.

5) BaoBao has her school friends and the monkeys at Flower Mountain. We could also include MK, her brothers, Mei, Red Son, Pigsy, etc. The only person she does not consider a friend is Wukong. She has her reasons.

MK dad au ask here. how did everyone react to the little girl boaboa being born? Like were they expecting another boy because of the four older boys?

BaoBao's birth was a complicated and bittersweet event.

Babies were no longer a surprise to anyone at this point, and if it had been up to MK, BaoBao wouldn't have been the last, hahaha…

Although the boys were surprised to welcome another baby into the family, except for Dishi and DingBang, MK was delighted to welcome his first baby girl.

The rest, like Red Son and Mei, were used to it. So the only thing that surprised them was that the next baby would be a girl, since until now, MK had only had boys.

But other than that, no one overreacted to the big news.

I could say that the only one who had anything to say about the baby was the mother.

I'm going to skip out a few things about her and MK's romantic relationship because I still haven't established what it was like, but at this point, she was no longer happy with the life she was leading.

To be clearer, she was feeling stuck.

So when BaoBao came into the world, she just decided to drop everything and go.

And no one took it well.

DingBang, the second son, kinda reminds me of MK's party double.

This is kind of funny XD

Because DingBang is somewhat influenced by this clone (ouo)

It happened because MK sometimes uses his clones as backup when no one is around to watch the kids (or when Red Son decides to ignore his calls), so sometimes his more independent clones, like Porty, end up interacting with the kids in his absence...

Therefore, DingBang found himself more fond of this version of his dad, considering him "the coolest".

And Porty hasn't disproved that XP

Does dishi grew having a best friend?

I would say yes.

His best friend is his brother DingBang, the second, since they are only a few months apart, so they practically grew up together to be friends.

Although, like typical brothers, sometimes they disagree, at the end of the day, they will always support each other (UuU)

Would dishi experience burnouts or procrastination?

Procrastination, no. Burnout, yes.

The oldest has to be forced to rest when his strength as a 13-year-old boy finally abandons him. MK and his brothers have to practically set a trap for him to put him to sleep; usually, this is not easy since Dishi is very stubborn and refuses to rest with the excuse that without him, the house would be upside down.

One thing that is partially true and has MK somewhat embarrassed.

So sometimes someone has to stand guard at the bedside to make sure the child at least gets some sleep.

The one who does procrastinate while procrastinating is DingBang (the second one). You don't have to worry about him running out of that one.

Hi!

Here some MK interactions with his children or their “little monkeys” XP

I wanted to show a little how its dynamics were. Although I would like to write it to show its interaction in more detail, I chose to draw it until I put my ideas in order.

They're too messy.

It took me forever to finish this due to the work I have to do every week, so you will excuse me for varying so much between the first and the last drawing. The Lego style escapes me.

But I will improve.
