I apologize for my inactivity. While I didn't document it, I was doing a lot of bug fixes and quality-of-life changes to the game(such as adding a cutting board in the kitchen and description indicators for tests), as well as new side content. To my knowledge, there should NOT be any bugs left(besides that healing indicator issue, I'm afraid nothing can be done about this one), but if you encounter one, please let me know! Unfortunately, ever since I got a job I've been feeling like I'm on the edge of getting sick. I'm very close to burnout and extra free day I got last week or-so wasn't enough to save me from stress. It makes working on the game very difficult, but I will not give up even if DiNB takes decades to finish. Hopefully, I'd do it a lot faster, but just in case, thank you so much for your patience and support! It means a lot and makes me keep going despite everything <3

"Dreaming isn't bad" is a visual novel RPGM Vx Ace game with elements of adventure and horror(and somewhat inspired by Yume Nikki and it's fangames). Currently the demo is still in progress. This side blog is created for game development updates.

At the moment, there's only one person working on the project, but more people might join in the future. For this reason, please use they/them when talking about this blog! If there's anyone who wishes to help, feel free to DM or send asks! Useful info about the game:

I'm probably not going to post any updates until the start of the next month. I've been feeling physically unwell since last week so it's difficult to draw. Besides that I need to finish my diploma/graduate work for animation course.

I'm really sorry for the lack of updates, hopefully It'll be better soon.

Small life update

Unfortunately, due to many reasons I do not have time to work on the game. Especially right now, when my financial situation is getting unpredictable. I'm dealing with a lot of things that come with adult life and it's very overwhelming. I will keep going, but at very slow pace until I can pick up speed again. Thank you for your patience.

Important note

Due to my current circumstances, I'm unable to work on the game as often as I could before. One of the reasons is because I now have a job as well as more responsibilities then before. I AM still working on the game, but can't do it as fast as before.

I also may not reply to your messages quickly because of the same reasons. I hope you understand.

Thank you all so much for your support during 2023! I'm extremely happy with how much progress I've made. From animated cut scenes to a whole battle system!

I hope I'll keep working hard in 2024 too and finally finish the demo. Stay tuned! 🎇

Several people have told me that Darek's hair on the top looks like horns, so he's a mischievous demon boy for Halloween 😈🎃

As for Agatka, she likes horror and has a teddy bear plushie. So I've decided to combine the two and you can see the result 🐻🎃

Fun fact: there's a message in Morse code hidden in the pictures 👀

A bit off-topic but if I had a coin every time a teddy bear plushie turned into a bloodthirsty monster in media I'd be a millionaire jkhjhk /hj

My dumb ass bought CSP pro instead of ex so now I can't open the animation files for the dinb😭 thankfully the animation is done and exported but my gosh I'm so stupid

I'll start posting about game's plot and characters after I finish (re)drawing their sprites!

Some characters have punctuation marks as their names and I'm afraid I won't be able to tag them properly. Also there's obviously a chance that some characters will be renamed in the final version.

If "yes" option wins, I'll have to find a way to insert a comma in tags or just write everyone's name with words instead of symbols. If you know how to add comma in tags on both pc and mobile, please let me know!
