awwww in light of Mother’s Day, yes :)
⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰ ⊱✿⊰
“can i open my eyes yet?” you ask, smiling to yourself as you hear whispers and rustling about your marui.
“no, momma! we’re not ready yet!” txonuk yells, running over to place his tiny hands over her eyes. “i’ll cover her eyes!” he says to his siblings. “no peeking, momma.” he whispers to you, causing you to laugh.
“i won’t peek, txonuk. i promise.” you smile as you feel his small hands covering your eyes.
neteyam chuckles at this, helping the children carry their gifts over to set in front of you.
“did you bring mine over?” txonuk whispers loudly.
“yes, txonuk. it’s right here.” neteyam chuckles again, handing txonuk his present for you. he holds it with one hand, still using his other to cover your eyes. your mate takes a seat beside you, resting his hand on your thigh.
“okay, momma, open!” tsantu says, gently tapping txonuk’s arm, signaling him to let go. txonuk removes his hand, holding his present as he stands in between tsantu and se’ayl.
nima holds her present up to neteyam. “now, daddy?”
neteyam smiles, shaking his head. “not just yet, syulang. we have to wait our turn, okay?”
nima nods, crawling into neteyam’s lap as she holds her gift tight to her chest. “otay, daddy!” she begins to count “patiently” on her fingers. “one, two, fwee…” before she finds herself distracted, playing with neteyam’s songcord instead.
tsantu goes first, handing you a wrapped spartan leaf. you smile, unwrapping it to reveal a beautiful green beaded bracelet. “oh, this is beautiful, tsantu! did you make this yourself?”
tsantu nods, a proud grin spreading across his face. “yes momma.”
you pull him in close for a hug and a kiss on the top of his head. “thank you so much, i love it! i’m going to wear it right now.” you smile, sliding the bracelet on your wrist.
se’ayl goes next, handing you another wrapped spartan leaf. “wow, did you wrap these yourselves?” you ask, knowing very well your husband wrapped them.
“daddy helped us!” se’ayl smiles, clapping her hands together. you glance up to your mate, giving him a smirk. in return, he gives your thigh a gentle squeeze.
inside are multiple new feathers, bright and bold colors. “oh, these are so pretty! how did you find all of these?”
“daddy helped me when we went flying the other day.” she smiles, putting her hands behind her back. you pull her in for a gentle squeeze and a kiss on the head. “thank you so much! i’m going to put one in right now. which one should i wear?” you ask your oldest daughter, smiling widely.
“hmmmm, this one!” she holds up a bright yellow feather, handing it to you.
you smile, handing the feather to you mate. “would you mind helping me put this in, please?”
neteyam takes the feather from you, carefully attaching it to one of the braids tucked behind your ear. “so beautiful.” he states, kissing your cheek gently.
you smile at him, before txonuk is eagerly holding his present in front of your face. “mine next, mama!”
“all right, all right.” you laugh, opening his present next. inside is an arm cuff, woven with bioluminescent leaves.
“it glows, mama! our favorite!” he smiles proudly, as he knows you two both share a love for pandora’s bioluminescence.
“oh, txonuk.” your lower lip quivers a bit, really touched by all of these gifts. you slide it on your arm immediately, pulling your youngest son in for a hug and a kiss. “thank you very much.”
neteyam looks down at nima then, who’s happily sucking her thumb in his lap. “nima, it’s your turn now.” he says gently, helping her stand up.
“my tuwn!” she eagerly holds out her present, jumping up and down excitedly. inside are bright, colorful beads. “for hair, mama!”
you smile, grabbing a few of the beads and immediately threading them through one of your braids. “thank you, nima! they are so pretty.” you give her a tight hug, and a small kiss on the head. “thank you, all of you. this is so sweet, i love each of these gifts! but i love you all even more.” you hold your arms out, for a group hug as they all settle in, followed with four little “i love you, mama”s.
neteyam pulls a wrapped spartan leaf from behind his back, he’s had it tucked away this entire time. “happy mother’s day, my love.”
you smile widely, carefully opening the leaf. inside is a beautifully beaded necklace. four small beads, two on each side, with a larger bead in the center. the beads are all different colors, and the one in the center has the shape of a heart carved into it. your eyes water at the sight, your lower lip quivering.
“you made this?” is all you’re able to get out without breaking down.
neteyam nods, grinning as he rubs your arm gently. “four beads, for the four beautiful children you’ve given me, and one for my heart, that belongs to you.”
happy tears well in your eyes, overwhelmed with all the love you feel in this moment. “neteyam, it’s beautiful. will you help me put it on, please?” you brush your hair to one side, exposing your neck.
he smiles widely, carefully placing the necklace around your neck as he ties it secure. once he’s sure it’s secure in place, he leans in, giving you a soft, yet passionate kiss. “i love you.” he reminds you, placing his hand over your heart.
“i love you too.” you smile, resting your hand over his.
he leans in close then, his other hand gently caressing the small of your back as he whispers now. “there is another gift, although you’ll have to open it later tonight. i don’t think the children should be present for that one.” he smirks, placing a gentle kiss just below your ear before pulling away.
he walks over to where your children are now playing with one another, leaving your mind racing of what this present could be. your heart swells at the sight, thinking you couldn’t possibly love him any more than you already do.
you rest a hand over your new necklace, smiling as you watch your husband play with your children. in this moment, you’ve never felt more fortunate.

courting
his infatuation with you began at the age of 30.
you were laughter bottled up in a jar. if you were the sun, neteyam was but a sunflower at your mercy. but he wasn't the only na'vi who worshipped the ground you tread on and the obvious age gap debilitated his resolve to court you.
by no means was he an insecure man. he merely assumed your preference included men of your age, given you were at the prime of your beauty and career as a huntress. eywa, did he mention he never saw a huntress with that much precision?
while neteyam was the best warrior of his clan, you were the best huntress, exceeding both men and women twice your age.
many一neytiri included一saw you as someone who could stand alongside neteyam as an equal. since kiri was to succeed as tsahik, all neteyam must find was a worthy mate who could lead the people. someone the people respected and someone who would be an amazing mother figure to the clan.
of course, neteyam being neteyam, cared little about paying attention to romance until one night.
one night, a wild beast managed to infiltrate the village and ravished all the food.
neteyam had killed it, albeit it was too late. the forest whispered the tune of danger as the eclipse descended onto pandora. the people would starve for a night before the foragers and hunters could go back to work in the morning.
that was the initial plan until you sought permission to leave the village. that wasn't the first time you both spoke. no, affairs regarding the clan were a popular topic for stellar talents like you, and he appreciated your dedication to the people.
neteyam finally allowed it when you set an ultimatum: if you didn't return in half an hour, the rest would search for you and bring you back for punishment. reluctantly, he agreed. after all, you were the finest hunter with wits. you wouldn’t be killed so easily, not with that stubborn will to live. he was mostly worried you would suffer an injury under his command. that would neither do good for his name nor uphold your reputation as a fearless huntress.
in half an hour, you returned to the feast with bloodstained hands and two large deers to feed the clan.
that was the first time neteyam truly noticed you outside the tip of your arrow, the legends of your reputation and the shape of your silhouette.
for the first time ever, neteyam saw you. he saw your eyes twinkle with glee as the children cheered for you. he saw the robotic pace in your gait despite the affirmations you told your parents. he saw your pride and happiness overcoming the pain in your ankle. pride wasn't something that lifted your chin and made you look down upon the rest. on the contrary, the pride you owned was a pride that made you collapse into your friends' embraces and watch the elderly eat their warm dinner with a content sigh, hiding your twisted ankle.
everyone was so hungry they barely noticed your injury but neteyam did and he asked his grandmother to treat you.
day after day, neteyam started to bump into you everywhere. on the training grounds, near the waterfall, around the bonfire at dinner. it was given you were always around him ( you were one of his people after all ), but he never noticed in the past. yes, he may acknowledge you as the best huntress, but you both never exchanged a personal word.
that didn't sit right with him.
so neteyam approached you. the first time, it was during a hunt. simple conversation about your family as you two waited for prey. the second time, it was near the stable where he introduced you to his direhorse. the third time, he invited you for a flight with your ikrans.
little by little, the both of you grew closer. slowly but surely, you consumed neteyam's thoughts and heart.
neteyam was over the moon when he realised you began to seek him out! it wasn't one-sided anymore. he would bend down to pat your head and you would stomp on his foot in response. neteyam loved every minute he spent with you.
for nine months, he focused on getting to know your soul. for someone the age of twenty-two, your emotions were levelled and mature. your visions and thoughts? absolutely wise and forearmed. your humour and jokes? oh, great mother, it was like you possessed the ability to bring the child in him back to life. you knew your goal, and you spared nothing to achieve it. you wanted to find a true love who accepted you as you were, scarred and stained, but beautiful nevertheless.
to say neteyam was mesmerised was an understatement.
in the tenth month, neteyam concluded an end to his pathetic pining. from then onwards, he would confidently court you. you did not deserve clandestine meetings and concealed affections. you deserved the best and that was what he would give you一the best.
for three months, he courted you. he hunted, he weaved, he sang, he carved, and he met your parents. all of this to show that he chose you.
you, who couldn't stop smiling when he first gave you a dagger he made himself. you, who jumped into his big arms the second he popped the question. you, who kissed the damn idiot because he was whispering sweet promises into your ear.
in december, both of you mated before eywa and conceived a child.
Tumblr media
parenthood
neteyam was destined for fatherhood, it seemed. he knew when exactly to feed your son, when to change his diaper, how to burp him, how to entertain him and ease his tantrums. this soothed your anxiety as a first-time mom.
he was afraid you would be too stressed with a baby at such a young age, hence he would take the baby with him most of the time. crying at midnight? no worries when he was at your baby's beck and call. need to prepare for a celebration? go ahead, neteyam loved having his baby all for himself. want some alone time? do as you please, he could bring the baby to the tree of souls to visit their ancestors. leading a large hunting party? as you should, neteyam and your son would await the seven-course dinner.
sometimes you felt left out because your baby spent so much time with him. perhaps your absence didn't affect them. however, that was nonsense. as soon you entered your home, your two boys would light up in smiles after missing you a whole day.
throughout your pregnancy, he was protective. now that the baby was out of your womb, neteyam toned down his instincts to tail you wherever you went because he trusted you and he could protect his baby.
jake introduced him to a baby carrier and dear eywa, neteyam couldn't love anything more. he would wrap his baby in a piece of fabric with your scent on it and carry him everywhere. you found it endearing whenever he held meetings with the elders and warriors, all while a baby drooled on his chest.
whenever neytiri and jake missed the baby, he would hand your son over and relish in the rare alone time with you. just like his father, he would plan date nights. he was the heir and head warrior, but he was yours first and foremost. this gesture would remind you why he's the father of your child in the first place.
as your son grew into a toddler, neteyam would scheme games that encouraged your child to walk. he made it his number one priority to witness his first footsteps. you would join in of course and at the end of the day, both of you would be exhausted from coaxing your toddler. the three of you would fall asleep within a blink on the bed, limbs entangled and jaws agape.
when your son did take his first steps, neteyam cried. he cried like the day you gave birth.
it crashed down on him, the fact that happiness was so simple. it was so simple to achieve because of the family you gave him.
once your firstborn reached the age of three, neteyam would ask for another one. a daughter who was the spitting image of you, if he was lucky. you would oblige and soon the family of three became a family of four.
with two children, it meant twice the chaos.
he would nurture your daughter whereas you would match your son's lively spirit. one would be fed all day, and another would be bouncing up and down, running back and forth. frankly? it was a little tiring, but nothing you two couldn't handle.
for your daughter, he would carve the lortsyal out of crystals and weave bracelets for her chubby hands. he sang praises about his daughter's calmness, never waking in the middle of the night and always cooing whenever he kissed her. he would let her play with his tail, smiling even when she bit it out of curiosity.
in the middle of training, you'd drop by with your children in tow. neteyam would train the warriors from sunrise and return at sunset, but the children lacked patience. upon your son and daughter’s whines, you'd bring them to visit neteyam and leave them there for a couple of hours.
when neteyam caught a glimpse of your soft smile as you carried both your children in your arms, he swore he wanted another one.
and another one you both had. actually, two. twins. two daughters. one with your features and one with his smile.
quickly, your home would brim with toys and children's laughter. neteyam often boasted about his family: his mate being the best huntress, his son being an inheritor of both their talents, his eldest daughter being the sweetest girl with the sweetest voice ( almost overthrowing ninat ) and his two baby twins who were by far, the most mischievous and noisy children in the entire forest. he dared comment that their wails would drive away the toruk.
if there was one thing he would complain about, that would be that all of the kids were born with your indestructible optimism and contagious laughter. that meant neteyam was utterly weak to all of you. the wrinkles he was bound to receive after worrying for all five of you.
just when the mighty warrior was about to surrender, you announced your pregnancy with your fifth child.
neteyam crumbled from the overflowing bliss.

imagine jake sully telling you he’ll force an orgasm out of you yes? YES. no but like subby jake turns to softish dom in the middle sksksk — 1.04k wc
warnings - riding, marking, him thrusting upward when you ride him (if that’s a warning), pinning his hands above his head, p in v, deep stroking, growling, squirting but no biggie, subby yet switch jake? idk, but whiny jake is definitely there, biting, licking and talking dirty if you notice it
lmk what i missed on adding !! i love each and every one of you sm! take care,, like + reblogs are always appreciated please <3
“i will force it outta’ you.” — jake sully (⨳)
“baby,” jake would whine desperately as he’s trying to memorize every single of your curves, hands griping your flesh, breast, hips, ass and thighs. you’re so beautiful the thought alone makes him grow hard inside you
your soft mewls are bonus for him while you sink back down, taking his girthy length deep in you. “you’re so beautiful.” he traps his lips between his teeth letting a groan out from his pit of chest.
you look down at him and he stared back shameless, how your tits would bounce every now and then, how your tight cunt invites him in, he loved every bit of it.
you lean down to kiss your mate as he whimpers at your chest pressing against his, your erect nipples doesn’t go unnoticed by him. “so good, you’re so good.” it’s like a pat on your head and a rope that makes you clench on his fat cock
you kiss him deeply, exchanging moans until the demand for oxygen becomes too much and wins than devouring each other. you put your upper body on his but you kept going, kept rolling your hips and his thrusts up to you matched perfectly.
you moaned how he made you feel to his ear, whispering sweet praises making it hard for him to last longer. jake only heaves hard, breathing shallow and deep.
“need you close, princess” he cries, he fucking cries.
“i need you close.” you weren’t ready for his move when he planted his heels to the mat and brought his hips up to thrust upward. your breath gets knocked out as you fully lose your balance and tumble on his chest
his left, large hand leaves your hips and holds the back of your head softly, he’s so gentle with you. it’s like you’d break if he gets rough with you,
“you’re doing so good, ma jake” you would only gasp when he ruts to you upward, pressing your head to his crook of neck to hide you. “you make me feel so good, princess.”
his breath hitches every time he speaks
you intentionally tighten on him and he heaves. deciding to push him farther, you suck on the flesh of his neck and reveled in it, the sting makes jake’s cock stir in your sex
he would feel his stomach knotting and moan tears out from his chest. you in other hand lick on his skin after bruising it enough to show the na’vi’s he belongs to you, you lean back and watch the art you made before smiling
jake watches your hand sneak to his and frowns when you remove them from your skin to only bring them above his head, pinning both his hands to the ground. you make sure to take him further in and jake chuckles.
“what’re you doi— oh fuuuck.” his words cut when your clit grinds right on his pelvis making your wetness smear against his skin. “ngh,” you struggle to roll your hips and jake only closed his eyes focusing on taking breath not to cum before you
“need you to cum for me baby” he tells you but you’ve another plan.
make him cum before you.
his eyes are unfocused when he opens them and amber eyes lock with yours. “hear me? n-need…shit,” you’re rolling your hips and love how his eyes rolls back to his head
he was so breath taking when he whined under you. jake feels the cord of his release stretching and becoming hard with your movement and you moan when he grows large inside you, a sign that he’s so close
“do it.” you demand as your both hands are intertwined and pinned above his head. “cum for me, jake, do it.” your voice is so hot it makes it hard for him
“where do you want me?” his brows are knitted
“i need you inside,” you huff moving up and down on him, “cum inside.” and with that you feel jake instant pull his hands away from you. you’re about to ask what he’s doing when he jerked you both up and pulled out from you
you’re about to whine but him pushing you to the ground for a missionary makes you seal your lips.
jake can feel your surprised amber eyes keeps following him and he smiles at you before getting between your legs, “want you under me when i stuff you with my load, yeah?” you’re about to fight him back but he only pushes your leg wider
you use your elbow to support yourself and watch his cock press on your folds before slipping between them and entering your cunt
“jake!” it’s your time to whine
right after he bottoms out, jake brings his eyes up to take your face in and fuck he almost busted himself. your jaw dropped and brows furrowed, head fallen back… you’re so breathtaking
he began a slow, deep torture, watching your response to every thrust he delivers, he watched you unravel under his simple touch. your pouty lips are open, delivering soft moans when he pulls out and rubbing his girthed tip on your clit before sinking back in
jake looks down where you’re connected and his heart swelled. your cunt was pretty too.
“such a pretty girl with a pretty cunt you are.” he leans down and nudges your nose to the side to make you turn away. your neck is visible to him and he targets to mark you allover
you fight for air in your lungs and jake only tests how far he could go in you
his ears flatten against his hair when he fully thrusts and his balls rest on your folds. he kept his ground there and gets turned on how you squirm against him
“told you i need you to cum for me.”
you quickly shake your head, “not gonna do that?” he watches how your marked skin moves when you shake your head side to side
“fine, i will force it outta’ you.”
one hand goes to grip your right leg and place his arm under your the back on your knee, “jake that’s not fai–JAKE!” you scream when you’re dragged close to him by your leg and he knocks you
“you know i’m not gonna cum before you,” every word is said with a huff cause by when he pulls out and slams back into you. “hear me? need you to cum for me and i’ll make you cum.”
your eyes are now shut, body laid on the mat when jake uses your as a personal fuck toy
your voice gets high pitched when you feel bubble starts to form inside you and your eyes slammed shut tighter than before. nails are dug to your mates back but he only enjoys when you scratch him, creating extra stripes
your sound encourages him to go farther and tougher when he feels you tighten.
your pussy keeps squelching when his fat cock pushes into you and jake sniffs and chuckles. “hear that sound you’re making, you’re so wet, pretty girl.” at his words your muscles only grips him harder
jake’s ears perk up when he takes a hint you like being called that name. “pretty girl.” his deep voice again causes your pussy to clench and you whine, “you like it when i call you that huh? my prettiest girl.”
back arching, your head tilted to the side. your quickened breath was shaking and becoming raged.
and jake feels his own balls tighten, he needs you quick and milk him before he erupts his load in you. rough thumbs meets your attention seeking clit and your body jolts. jake flicked and pinched on your bud enough to make that bubble burst
“j-jake…” you call for him, desperate to hold on to him when your wetness squirts on his cock and allover. “‘m right here, right here for you pretty girl.” he’s still stimulating your nub until you push his write away from yours
just like he wanted you under him, you’re shuddering and recovering from his abuse against your walls when he suddenly grunts with a small “‘m close.”
he thrusts all the way in and stops, “jake, you’re too deep.” oh he knows, he clearly knows and enjoys that he’s almost in your gut. his breathing ceased until the first wave of contractions hit and his pelvis hurt from the feeling.
jake hides himself into the curve of your neck and whines when he rode out his last drop of climax, you could feel your cervix full from how he was cumming hard.
he lazily thrusts till his complete drop or load is inside you
out of breath and weak, both of you just stay like that for a while or at least until your lungs are calmed and taking air normally. jake slowly eases out of you and lifts himself on his elbows just enough to see your face and his heart calms at your expression
clearly you’re spent and tried but even with that? you manage to bring your hands to his cheeks and cup him before pulling him to a feverish kiss
you two feel yourselves smile into the kiss before letting giggles and chuckles filled with love out. “i really wanted to make you cum.” your lips perk and jake hums
“try next time beautiful.” he pressed his forehead against yours and you roll your eyes before huffing. “i love you” he manages to say and your lips curve, “i love you too.”
you both decide to cuddle each other and talk about some little things only filled with love, happiness and fairytales.
typos and shitty grammar happened and they’re not edited, apologies! hope you liked this,, lmk in the comments so i could write more for you babies! likes and reblogs are appreciated so so so much <3

reader flinching during an argument w neteyam?
maybe he raises his voice or throws his hands up in expectation and reader misinterprets it and flinches, ofc he notices and feels super guilty, comfort after
deffered warrior
Tumblr media
pairing: neteyam x omaticaya fem! reader tags & warning: reader is pregnant but not showing, a mom of one child, dad! neteyam, they're both aged up, angry neteyam, reader is so stubborn summary: with the sky people back, neteyam doesn't want you going out in the forest without his company. he's been extra protective of his family within reason, but you didn't like feeling helpless. you went to the forest without telling anyone, maybe you should have. index sempu - dad, muntxate - wife/female spouse, tawtute - human, nìftxan - so, ngäzìk - difficult, olo'eyktan - clan leader word count 3.5k
a/n spinned this a little hope you like it! i've been working on this for a while because i wanted to make sure it was good. enjoy <3
Tumblr media
Because of the pregnancy, your duties as a warrior were temporarily suspended. It was frustrating that you were forbidden to participate in the raid. You were barely showing and still capable of fighting, but Neteyam insisted that you stayed behind.
With the the sky people back, their attacks became even more ruthless and unforgiving. Their technology advanced which gave them the upper hand, but everyday you prayed to Eywa that she protects the people. Especially your family.
Nutxe watched his father putting his cummerbund on followed by his leather armguard. Neteyam was preparing for another rally to stop the humans from creating their own space to live in. They were getting too close, and their preparations have been getting quick. Because of it, he's barely home and only coming back to his wife and son asleep.
"Sempu, how hard will it be this time?" asked Nutxe, eyes wide from curiousity.
"It doesn't get easier, 'itan," sighed Neteyam. He managed to pull a smile for his child, and placed his hand on top of his head. "We will do everything to stop them," he reassures.
Nutxe nodded. "I know. You'll defeat them because sempu, uncle Lo'ak, and grandpa are there!" he cheered as he raised his fists.
You laughed from where you were standing. After hearing his father's accomplishments, Nutxe admired him greatly. You'll always hear him saying he wants to be like his sempu one day, and protect you from danger.
Of course, he got the idea to protect you from the man himself.
Neteyam only chuckled. He approached you, and you handed him his bow and arrows. You couldn't help but inspect his warrior look with envy. It's been a long time since you've worn your own cummerbund, and the feeling of adrenaline was missed.
"I am still strong enough to fight," you said. You made sure to keep your voice low from Nutxe's big ears.
Neteyam exhaled before he pursed his lips momentarily. "We've talked about this, muntxate. You are with child, our child," he emphasised with a frustrated look. "I want you out from the field."
You hissed, "I feel helpless! I wouldn't be the first woman pregnant there."
"Munxtate."
"Your mother went to war with you inside of her. I don't see why I cannot be there."
He shook his head. "I don't want to argue about this with you anymore. I don't want to leave like this, please."
Both of you stared into each other's eyes intensely. Neteyam waited for you to back down, your eyes were full of determination that he almost felt like you would go against him. Eventually, your eyelids drooped, showing your defeat.
Neteyam couldn't help let his grin show. "See me off?" he asked softly.
"Always." You managed to crack a little grin, which was enough for him.
As the three of you went towards the edge of High camp, Nutxe shifted on your hip and Neteyam's hand rested on your back. There were already warriors staying by there ikrans as they waited for their Olo'eyktan's signal. Jake could be seen standing beside his ikran, speaking with Neytiri about the raid.
"Grandpa!" yelled Nutxe.
Jake turned his head to the voice, and his lips broke into a smile that was rare to see lately. With the tawtute's back, it was difficult not to worry each second that they striked back with an even callous defense. But he can't hold back the joy he sees from his grandson.
"Came to see your grandpa and grandma off, bud?" he opened his arms for the boy.
Nutxe jumped off from your arms and dashed to his. Jake groaned when he lifted him up, complaining about how heavy he had gotten. Neytiri laughed, her finger tickling the boy's chubby stomach which earned her a fit of giggles.
"Look at you, so big," cooed Neytiri.
Nutxe smiled, "I cant wait to be taller. I want to be tall like sempu."
Jake gasped, offended, "What about me?"
He shook his, a mischevious smile on his face. "No."
Neteyam chuckled at his father's playfulness. Nutxe truly is a blessing from Eywa, he brought joy everywhere with him in the midst of this war. The burden of being Olo'eyktan had gotten heavier, and the bags under Jake's eyes only turned worse. He was relieved to see his father relaxed even for a little while.
"Dad," called Lo'ak as he approached them firmly. "Tarsem and his unit is on the way to tail the humans."
Jake nodded, his playfulness was now gone. He put Nutxe on the ground, and the boy went to your side. He turned to the warriors, telling them to get ready. As a parting gesture, Neytiri gave you a squeeze on the shoulder.e, before she headed to her ikran.
Nutxe patted his uncle's hands and smiled at him, "Good luck, uncle Lo'ak."
Lo'ak returned the smile, placing his hand on top of his head. "Thanks bud." He gave you a nod before he left to his own ikran.
Neteyam kneeled down to his son's height. "Watch mama for me?"
His eyebrows were pinched together as he nodded with determination. "Yes, sempu!"
"I will see you when I get back." Neteyam pressed his lips on his forehead briefly. He stood up, looking at you.
You nodded, "Be safe."
"Always."
The raid was successful again. There were less injured warriors compared to the previous raid and they managed to avoid casualties this time which made the each Omatikaya beam with pride. It brought hope that they could defeat the tawtute, and maybe leave their home alone.
Although, that didn't stop them from being vigilant.
You were in the Tsahik's tent along with Tuk, rearranging the herbs that were not in their usual spot. Since you were reprived from your duties as a warrior, you searched for other ways to help the clan. Mo'at offered you to help her aid injured warriors which you did not decline. Your skills as a healer weren't as great as your athleticism, but it was better than nothing.
Nutxe was off with Spider and Kiri in the lab. You and Neteyam didn't mind that your son was getting along well with the scientists. They were loyal to the na'vi, and it always reminded you that Jake was once human. You cant take that away from Nutxe, not that you ever intended to.
"Is it all done?" asked Tuk. She sighed loudly, laying down on the mat as she stretched her arms and limbs.
"Yes," you hummed. Counting the number of bowls, you noticed that one was nearly empty. Yalnabark was most commonly used amongst injuries since they sting less, Kiri suggested this to her grandmother and they have used it ever since. "Oh, we're almost finished."
"What?!" Tuk immediately shot up from her position. She groaned once she saw the bowl you raised to show her. "We can't go out to the forest at this time. The party is still inspecting the area to make sure there aren't any surprise attacks."
"I will check my tent if we have some. I'll be back, Tuk."
Satisfied with Tuk's nod, you exited the Tsahik's tent and walked to yours. Unfortunately, the situation stayed the same: yalnabarak was nearly finished.
An idea came into your head, but it was something that you knew your mate would go against. However, you cant just stay and rely the work on other na'vi. There was no way you would make yourself a liability.
You attached your comm's around your neck and tucked the ear piece in your ear gently, just in case things were to go wrong, which you prayed that it wouldn't come to that. You hang your satchel over your shoulder with your bow and arrows in your hand. Exhiliration filled your body at the thought being able to travel around the forest.
The air caressing your face made you sigh. This must what Lo'ak felt everytime he was going behind his parents' back. It was envigorating, but you felt guilty going against Neteyam. What he doesn't know wont hurt him, you tried to convince yourself, but there was that conscious part of yourself constantly telling you that it was wrong. Pushing those thoughts away, you let your ikran fly down and landed on forest ground.
As soon as your feet touched the ground, you searched for the necessary herbs to make yalnabark. They weren't hard to find if you knew where to search. The herbs were always close to the Link Shack which was one of the reasons why the medicine wasn't often used.
Since the RDA returned to Pandora, the Shack has been deemed unsafe and off-limits. Their chances of returning the area were highly probable. But when silence met you and the lone sounds you could hear in the forest were chirping insects, you sighed in relief.
Your satchel was almost filled with herbs you collected. It would be enough to aid the injured people for a while. Your arm was outstretched to pick out another leaf, but your eyes stopped on the muddy part of the ground.
A fresh footprint.
"We've got a na'vi here!"
The day continues to be quiet since the successful raid. Neteyam and Lo'ak were in the air, inspecting for any suspicion. The oldest frowned when he could see the damage that the humans brought to his home, trees were broken and what was once green and nature were destroyed.
"Nothing," said Lo'ak with a shrug.
Neteyam turned his head to him with furrowed eyebrows until it hit him that he was talking about the humans. He nodded. "Let's go back."
They turned their ikrans to the direction of their home. Silence fell between them, but comfortable, as they headed back home.
"Nete-"
Neteyam's ear twitched when he realised the voice came from the comm's. He pressed his neck where the speaker was, he spoke, "Muntxate?"
The worst possible scenarios started forming into his head. You never used your comms before, promising to him that it would only be used when something was wrong.
"Neteyam, I am being attacked! Near the Shack! There is three of them!"
His heart sank. Realising you had gone behind his back, he let out a growl. Lo'ak looked at his brother questioningly. "Bro, what is it?"
"My mate is in trouble. Three avatars by the Shack." Neteyam's ear were pinned against his head, his jaw clenched. His hand gripped the handle of his ikran's halters tightly, mentally praying that she would be okay. And that their child would be fine.
You hid behind a tree, hugging your bow close. Leaning slightly to the side, you noticed an avatar walking slowly through the trees, his rifle pointing straight ahead. You inhaled deeply and drew the string of your bow until it touched your nose and lips. Your arrow was directed straight to the avatar.
You drew your fingers back, releasing the arrow, which penetrated his skull.
"Na'vi!" his partner yelled. Bullets roared through the woods, and you assessed it as an indication to flee. Without glancing behind, you forced your feet to run faster than the wind. Jumping from one branch to the next.
A scream escaped your lips when the branch you jumped on rattled from a big explosion, causing you to slip and fall. Your body hit large leaves, slightly softening your fall but hurt nonetheless. You whimpered, feeling pain course through your body. Immediately, your hand flew to your stomach. "Please, great mother," you whispered with tears in your eyes.
Large footsteps entered your ears. Hope surged through your body until you looked up only to realise it was one of the avatars chasing you. His smirk sent shivers down your spine. He pressed the speaker on his neck, saying, "I got her."
His face wrinkled in anguish as he groaned, just as he prepared to take another step towards you. His corpse dropped forward right in front of you, and you stifled a sob as you realised who was responsible.
"Muntxate," Neteyam exclaimed. He felt loose after seeing you harmed on the ground; he felt as if he would rip each of their limbs off for doing this to you.
You sobbed, "Neteyam."
He knelt on the ground and hugged your form closer to him as he quietly listened to you weep. He trailed his hand to yours, which was resting on your belly, and kissed your temple softly while whispering soothing words.
Neteyam couldn't tell whether you had injuries from where he used to stand, but now that the glowing light from the plants reflected your body… he could see bruises and blood. Neteyam pursed his lips, holding you tighter against him. What could have happened if he didn't arrive on time.
"Last one killed." He heard Lo'ak voice from his earpiece. "I've notified dad of this, he said to find whatever's useful on them and bring it in. He'll meet us as soon as we land in High Camp with grandmother to make sure your mate is okay."
Neteyam removed one of his hands and used it to press the button on his neck. "Copy. I will see you by the ikrans."
"I hear you. By the way, the second avatar was dead while I was making sure there aren't any more surprises. It was a straight shot to the skull. Your mate must've done this, she does have the best aim despite being in sticky situations."
Chuckles were heard through the other side, Lo'ak was clearly elated by this but Neteyam couldn't share the same feeling.
"Can you stand?"
The gentle tone of his voice resonated in your ears. You only nodded as a response because you were afraid that your voice would betray you. You felt ashamed that it had come to this, even after he warned you.
You stood up as Neteyam stood close to you, his arm extended just in case you felt unwell. "I came here to collect herbs for yalnabark. It was nearly finished," you explained, only gancing at his eyes for a second before looking away.
Neteyam's gaze transferred to the satchel, it's contents spilled out. He sighed deeply and grabbed the satchel, picking up the herbs and putting it back in. "We will talk once we go back home."
You felt like a child who was about to get scolded by a parent. Lo'ak's amused grin didn't help make you feel better. Just like Neteyam, you scolded him for getting into plenty of trouble back when you were just teenagers. So, forgive him if he found the situation a little bit amused.
When you got back to High Camp, Mo'at was already there to check your wounds and she brought you to her tent immediately. Tuk and Kiri were already there to assist her. The youngest sully was quick to apologise and blamed herself for not being with you, but none of it was her fault and you made sure she knew that.
Tuk did not have the responsibility to take care of you because you are a grown woman who is capable of making her own decisions. And you are mature enough to accept the consequences.
Questions about the baby quickly came out from your mouth. It was the first thing Mo'at did, checking the baby. She felt your heart racing against her hand. The beating of your heart only slowed down to its normal rate when you she told you the baby is fine, but you needed rest to make sure.
Neteyam was there the whole time, watching his sisters apply medicine to your wounds whilst listening to his grandmother intently. You met his gaze, and you could tell he was relieved but disappointed at the same time.
Fortunately, Nutxe dozed off in Jake's hut while he was with them. Neteyam stayed behind you on the way to the tent you both shared. He looked at the scratches on your back, his fury building with each glance, until he forced himself to turn his head away.
As soon as you entered your tent, you crossed your arms as you faced your mate.
"What were you thinking?" he hissed.
"I told you why, did I not?" you sassed.
He shook his head. "You do not get to act like this, not after you went behind my back. You did not even say a word to anyone!"
"I thought that it would be quick."
"You thought wrong," he seethed. "I told you so many times that this is for your own safety. Why wont you just listen? Do you not see that this is my way of protecting you?"
You turned aside, growling. You were already exhausted from being treated like a child. "I am not weak. I am still capable of standing without hurting!"
"Muntxate, this is not about your incapability." Neteyam pressed his palms against his eyes as he shut them tightly. He looked at you, annoyed. "You are carrying our prrnen. That should be enough for you to stay put."
"You forget who you are speaking to," you hissed angrily. "I am recognised as one of the strongest warriors along with you. Unless, my state makes me a liability, I should be-"
Neteyam suddenly took quick steps in front of you. You blinked, surprised at his stance but you didn't back down. He snarled, "I said no. Whether you like it or not, you will stay. I will tie you against a rope if I must."
"You are not Olo'eyktan yet," you scoffed. "I do not take orders from you!"
You moved away from him, but he grabbed your forearm with his grip tight. You glanced at his hand wearily before looking up to his eyes, it was full of fury. "Nìftxan ngäzìk. If you do not want to be treated like a child, do not act like one."
Breathing heavily, you yelled, "I am already treated like one, skxawng!"
Neteyam abruptly raised his arm, causing you to close your eyes and inhale sharply.. He pointed his finger to the exit of your tent, his gaze stuck on it. "Those demons have gotten stronger. They-"
The words died on his mouth when he saw how you cowered with his touch. He released himself off you, his guilt consuming him. He can't believe he did it– that he let his rage get the best of him. He took a step back, his breath unsteady. "No, muntxate… I was not going to hit you. I would never."
You nodded, pressing your fingers to your temple before cupping your face. "I know, I just…" you sighed. Neteyam heard you sniffle, but it was muffled from your hand. You removed them for your face, and hugged your body.
He watched your body language, because the last thing he wants is you to be scared of him. He only raised his arm to point outside but you thought otherwise. Neteyam would hate himself forever if he had caused anything for you to assume that.
Relief washed over him when you reached out to him, holding his hand. He trailed his other hand to your arm softly before he held your elbow, carressing it.
"I do not like thinking that I am not there to protect you," you revealed. Tears pooled into your eyes as you looked up at him. "What if something happens to you? What if it will be too late to save you? What would I do?" you croaked out.
"Nothing will-"
"You do not know that." You shook your head. "We need you, Neteyam. And I get scared everytime you go out there. I beg the great mother to protect you always, to watch you because I cannot."
Neteyam held your face, his thumbs caressing your cheekbones. "Nothing will happen," he pressed, his gaze loving. "Because I'm not only doing this for my people, but for you and Nutxe. I will protect my family with all my strength and I cannot do that when I'm dead."
A tear left your cheek when he leaned his forehead aginst yours with a grin present on his lips. "I will always come home to you, muntxate," he promised.
You pouted, "You should. I will haunt your soul if you dare to leave."
Neteyam laughed.
"And I'm sorry for leaving without telling anyone. I thought it would be simple."
"I know. What matters is that you are both okay."
You smiled as you pushed yourself against him and pressed his lips with yours. Neteyam wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer until your chests are touching each other. A moan escaped your lips when you felt a hand squeeze your cheek.
Neteyam pulled away slightly, his breath fanning your lips as he spoke, "Good thing Nutxe is with my mother and father." His eyes heavy with a look you became so familiar with. You said nothing and roughly kissed him making him groan.
Great mother, how long has it been since you let this man devour you?

I can imagine neteyam and lo’ak talking about the mac n cheese and jakes just like “mac n cheese? they have that stuff here?😦🏃” ik that man sometime misses human food
Omfg that’s honestly so cute if you think about it 😂
Poor Jake has been stuck with Neytiri’s cooking - which he eats it but still dreams about all the junk food he got to eat when he was on earth.
“Bro, you know what we should do when we get back” Lo’ak says as him, Neteyam and Jake walk along the forest. “There’s no telling what you want to do” Neteyam laughed out. Lo’ak quickly turned his head to look at his ‘oh so funny brother’ giving him an ugly face.
“What I was going to say, you skxawng - is that we should go ask y/n to make more mac and cheese. I’ve been craving it like crazy” Neteyam laughed - “you must be growing because we just had it yesterday”
Jake was a few feet being the two boys, but could still hear every word they said. The moment he heard your name and mac and cheese, his ears perked up. “What did you just say?” Jake asked. Both Neteyam and Lo’ak stopped walking, turning around to look at him.
“What?” Lo’ak asked confused. “Boy, I asked you what you said” He replied in a firm tone. “I was talking about y/n making us mac and cheese” He trailed off. Jake stood silent for a few seconds. “You mean to tell me they have that stuff here?”
Neteyam and Lo’ak laughed, nodding their heads. “Y/n has some stashed in her room” Neteyam tried to explain, but Jake was already heading to base camp. “Hey! Where are you going?” Lo’ak yelled. “To steal your mac and cheese, boy. Good luck beating me there”
Jake felt young again, remembering the days he got to enjoy this type of food. It wasn’t long before the two young boys ran after him, trying their best to catch up. Let’s just say you ended up having to make extra.

First ever post!! 🫶🏼
Hey y’all!! I’m wanting to start writing Avatar fics, mainly smut (lol). Please don’t be too harsh but I’m open for suggestions and tell me what you think!! I don’t really know what I’m doing haha. And also I wanna start doing requests so lmk!
**************************************
Pairing: Dilf¡Jake Sully x omatikaya reader (22)
Warnings: MDNI 🛑, SMUT, age gap, getting caught in the act, p in v, cursing, dirty talk, virgin reader, i think that’s it?
Synopsis: you’re urged to ask your best friend Neteyam to be your mate since the pairing seems beneficial, he denies you and his dad shows you what you deserve ;). Porn with plot.
Word count: 2.6k
Next part!
You were Neteyam’s best friend ever since childhood. For as long as you can remember, you and him were attached at the hip practically. Born on the same year and the first child to your families, you two had a lot in common that resulted in a very close bond. You could tell him anything and he could tell you anything. It was nice having someone to relate to who also happened to be funny, smart, talented, and charming. You’ve always loved Neteyam and he loved you, as friends.
However, as time went on and the two of you grew up, expectations became harsher and duties were falling in line. You’re now both 22 and things have changed now that you’re adults. Taking responsibility in the Omatikaya clan is a right of passage, it’s about showing that you now agree to give your all to the people around you just like all Na’vi are expected to do once they reach a certain age.
Neteyam is going to be the next Olo’eyktan, the most important duty of all along with the Tsahik. You were decently good at hunting and could hold your own, but you were also best friends with Kiri and spent many hours with her and Moat, learning healing skills.
You always knew Neteyam would have to chose a mate once the time came, but you never thought much about it and you were both platonic and never looked at him in a romantic way. You know he didn’t look at you that way either. But once you both turned 21, you had to admit to yourself that he was quite breathtaking in his fully grown adult form. He’s now grown into a strong and healthy man, with broad, muscular shoulders and is as tall as his dad, the present Olo’eyktan.
Today, as you were chopping some food in your hut, you heard a knock by the entrance. “Come in!”, and with that Jake, Neytiri, and Moat approach you with smiling faces. You didn’t expect to see them so you stop what you’re doing and bow your head, signaling “I see you” to them. They return the gesture and Moat speaks up, “My child, we have a very important proposition to bring you.” You nod as in saying to continue, then Neytiri joins in, “Y/n, we know you are a very responsible and nice girl. We also know that you have been steadily learning Tsahik duties with Moat and Kiri over the past few years. We have come here to say we think it would be best for you and Neteyam to be mates and the next leaders for the clan.” she beams.
You don’t know what you were expecting them to say but it wasn’t this. You chuckle nervously and shift in your place. “But Neteyam is my best friend. And anyways I don’t know if he would agree to this, have you brought it up with him?” Jake steps up and says “No, he doesn’t know yet because we were hoping you could tell him and it could be more natural. So it doesn’t seem like we’re forcing you guys or arranging it. It we try to force it, he might rebel. You think you could talk to him? He needs to pick a mate as soon as possible and we know you two get along great.”
You began to feel a bit dizzy and held onto the table beside you. You didn’t want to tell them no, how could you tell them no? So you meekly nodded and said “I will talk to Neteyam later when he gets back from hunting.” Neytiri hugged you and said “I would be honored to have you as my daughter-in-law!” You returned the hug and gave her a weak smile. You felt sick. They said they’re goodbyes and left you with your thoughts.
After 2 hours in your hut thinking on this, you decided you were actually really lucky to be chosen to mate with Neteyam. He was handsome and of course you loved him, so why not? All the girls in the village talk about how much they’d love to mate with him, but only one can be chosen. You had butterflies in your stomach and a newfound confidence as you left your hut, setting out to find Neteyam.
After a few minutes, you rounded a corner and seen the man himself. He looked tired and worn out, but you knew this had to be discussed now. You walk up to him and put your hand on his arm and say “can we talk for a minute? In private?” He lifts an eyebrow but nods his head, slightly concerned something was wrong. You two walk over to the forest, where the chatter of the village can only be heard in the distance. You take a deep breath and just say it, “Neteyam, it’s time for you to chose a mate. I don’t know how you feel about the other girls in the clan but I’ve been practicing Tsahik duties and we already have a bond…” you look at him like he should be able to get your meaning but he just gives you a confused look. So you spit it out, “Neteyam, I think we should be mates.”
His eyes widen and mouth drops a little. Your heart is pounding but you understand the initial shock. He nervously lets out a chuckle and says “But y/n, we are just friends… did you think we were something more?” Your heart drops and mouth dries up. Hot anger boils up in your blood at the embarrassment and denial. “N-no, I know we’re friends now but our duties are changing. We have to do what’s best for the clan’s future.” He looks around and says “but I can’t mate with you, I don’t see you in that way”, he gives you a look of pity and now you are livid. “Why not? Am I not pretty enough for you??” “No, I mean you could make yourself prettier but that’s not the only reason why…” he trails off and your mouth hangs all the way down. Tears flood your eyes and you bolt off. In the background you hear him yell, “Y/n, don’t do this!”
You run through the village, covering your face while crying. You felt so much shame and hurt. You burst into your hut and fling yourself onto the bed, wetting it with your tears. You couldn’t believe he outright denied you. You weren’t the prettiest girl, sure, but you most certainly weren’t the ugliest either! You should’ve never agreed to this or even dreamed it could happen. He could get any girl he wants, why would he pick you?
Night was closing in and you shivered under your covers. You dried up your tears but still felt the sting in your heart at the betrayal. Suddenly, you hear a knock at your door. You’re facing the wall and muster out “who is it?” with no enthusiasm. Much to your surprise, it’s Jake. You scramble out of the sheets and sit on the edge of the bed to then stand up and bow your head and gesture your hand, “ma Olo’eyktan”.
He throws his hand up as if brushing that gesture away, “no need for all the formalities, sweetie.” You nod and slightly smile to be polite. You loved his fatherly way of speaking. You then remember everything that happened earlier and that he probably found out about you being rejected. “I heard what happened and I just want to apologize on behalf of my son. He’s a dumbass” he says bluntly. The human curse catches your attention.
He sits down on the bed next to you. You choke out “I’m so sorry. I thought it could work but I guess I’m not good enough for him. He is probably so used to me by now that he sees nothing special.” A single year rolls down your cheek. Jake slowly shook his head and touched your thigh and your eyes meet his. His eyes are filled with pity for you but also something else, something like hunger. You tingle under his touch.
“You’re a special girl, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, the stupid skawng. If it were me and I were your age, I wouldn’t be able to keep my hands off of you…” he purrs.
The atmosphere changes and you heat up all over. You’ve always thought Jake was a hot dad but you assumed he wouldn’t even bat an eye at you, especially since he has Neytiri.
He slowly rides his hand up your thigh to your most sensitive area. You gasp at the sudden intrusion but don’t stop him. You couldn’t believe this was happening.
“Let me make you feel better, honey. I can make you feel real good”, he smirks. You look up at him with doe eyes and can only manage to nod. “I’ll make you forget about Neteyam, that dumb bastard. You’ll only be thinking about my name now, how’s that sound?”
You feel his voice vibrate down to your very core. And quickly you feel needy, with no shame. It had been a terrible day and you wanted nothing more than to just feel better. “Yes please”
That’s all he needs to hear to start going at you. His calloused hands feel heavenly against your soft skin. He rubs you all over in desperate need like he doesn’t know where to even start. Then he crashes his lips on yours. You greedily open your mouth to let him come in and explore. You’ve never felt anyone’s touch before but he was guiding you though it. You started whimpering and whining and he groans to this.
“Have you ever done this before?”, he asks. You slowly shake your head no and feel a bit ashamed that you have no experience. His eyes get wide and he searches your eyes for answers, “you’re telling me no one has loved this pussy before?” and you simply shake your head again, blushing.
“My God.” He’s painfully hard and can’t believe the sweet prize he has in front of him. He reaches his hand down your loincloth and feels your sopping cunt. His eyes dilate and he realizes how pent up you must be. “Baby girl, you should’ve asked for my help a longgg time ago, you need a good dickin down”, he lowly growls.
You bite your lip and clearly look in distress from needing some relief. He kissed your neck and grazes it with his fangs, while kneading on your breasts under your top. Then he finally takes off your top and reveals the precious sight. He just stares, practically drooling. “Look at these perfect tits, all for me.” You whimper in response.
He starts kissing and sucking on your nipples, greedily tasting them as fast as he can. “Jake!”, you whine.
“Yeahhh, that’s right. My name on your pretty lips.”
He then rips off your loincloth. He marvels at your pretty pussy, wanting to open it like a Christmas present. Then he starts lapping on it. He sounded like a starved man, moaning and groaning on your heat like it’s the best meal he’s ever had. “Ohhh my Eywa!”, you moan out.
He sticks one finger in your needy hole and you throw your head back. “Holy fuckkk”, he groans, “such a tight little pussy for me, gonna have to stretch you out, girl.”
You’re a whimpering mess and he adds another finger in. You cry out in ecstasy and move your hips against him to get more pleasure. “Yeahhh baby, that’s it, fuck yourself on my fingers, use me for what you need.”
His words only edge you on as you start to feel the coil at the bottom of your stomach. You’re seeing stars and his pace is relentless, he coos at you, “gonna cum for me? I know you want to. Let it out, all over me baby.” And that pushes you over the edge as you spill out moans and a slew of Na’vi curses, to which his ears perk up to.
“Didn’t know you had a dirty mouth? I thought you were a good girl?”, he teases. “Won’t you be a good girl, and take my cock, hm?”
You’re still coming down from your high but you get a burst of energy once he takes his loincloth off and his massive, swollen cock springs up to slap his stomach. You can’t believe how big it is, lengthy and girthy. He just grins at your expression and how you can’t take your eyes off it.
“You like it, huh? You wanna get fucked silly?”, he degrades.
“Mhmmm” is all you can manage to get out.
He towers over you and flips you on all fours. You feel his dick at your entrance and close your eyes, anticipating sharp pain. He slowly goes in and let’s out a long groan, “Shittttttt, feels so fucking good”. You only feel the pain for a minute and feel so full. He bottoms out and slowly slides back out and you moan at the sensation. Then, he starts to pick up a steady pace.
“OHHHH, Jake!!! I can’t take it!”
“Yes you can and you are”, he pants. “Taking it so well for me. Keep being a good girl”.
He is absolutely rattling your shit, the sounds of skin slapping and your combined moans and pants filling the small room.
“Such a needy little slut, ain’t that right? Look at you, taking it like a champ. That’s right”, he praises.
He then grabs your braid and pulls you up against him, both still on your knees. He puts one hand on your clit and starts rubbing relentlessly, and the other hand around your mouth because you’re getting loud.
“As much as I love you screaming because of my cock, you don’t want Neteyam or someone to find us like this, hm?” he grunts, still fucking the daylights out of you. To be honest, it gives you a thrill to think of Neteyam seeing his dad fucking you after he rejected you.
You only whimper and bite his hand, as tears are falling out of your eyes now from the overwhelming pleasure. You feel the same coil from earlier rising up, as if you’re about to burst.
“Can feel you squeezing on me, shit you’re gonna make me cum” he pants throwing his head back in pure bliss.
Suddenly you hear shuffling steps at the door like someone just snuck up. You both snap your heads in it’s direction and are faced with Neteyam.
“Dad?!? Y/n?!?”, he shouts.
You freeze a little but are so close to your high you can’t be bothered enough by him. His dad just laughs and says “you see son, this is what you’re missing out on. And boy, does she feel gooddd.”
Neteyam looks horrified but can’t take his eyes off the scene, as if he’s frozen in shock. The blood drains from his face and he just stands there dumbfounded.
“Now watch your old man make a pretty girl cum on his cock. Look at her, she’s cock drunk and just needs that final push.”
He speeds up on your clit and pounds your cervix HARD. “OHHHHH!!!” you moan out.
Jake whispers in your ear, “come on sweet girl, cum on your first ever cock, it’ll feel real nice”, he coos.
And just like that the coil snaps and you feel a hot white rush all over your body. “I’m cumming, cumming, fucking cumminggg” you whine out.
“Yeahhh, that’s it. Making such a pretty mess everywhere”
He lets you ride out your climax and he finishes inside you, “fuckkkk” he moans. You’re both panting trying to regain your breath and strength.
Neteyam still stands at the entryway in shock, unable to get a word out. So much just happened that he can barely process. Seeing you naked and needy under his dad was not what he had planned for today.
“Well son, I can honestly say you fucked up, good luck finding someone better than her.”

“I’m here to assist you, but i cannot do my job if you refuse to go against my requests.” you stated sharply, his ears pinned against his hair and his lips tightened into a straight line, he simply crossed his arms. This was the 3rd date you’d set up for him that he’s rejected.
Not the first, or the second, but the third time. To make matters worse whenever you’d complain to Mo’at she’d simply tell you to just push a little farther.
“I told you I didn’t like her” he said sternly, repeating the same statement he has for the past 2 weeks. “skxawng, [moron] you’ve said the same thing for the other 2 na’vi i’ve tried to pair you with, do not be selfish, think of the future of our people-“
“That’s all I think about y/n, I might be many things but selfish isn’t one of’em. You can’t just force someone with me, if im going to be with some girl for the rest of my life at least let me make my own decision.” He quickly cut you off, now unfolding his arms and placing a hand at his side, eyeing you up and down. You’d be lying if you said he didn’t make any good points, if you were in his place you’d be more than frustrated, but regardless you’re job here was to help and provide for the olo’eyktan, which is exactly what you were going to do.
“Mr. Sully, please-“
“Jake. It’s jake kid” He buds in, smiling softly.
“Jake, I understand what you’re saying and how you feel, but part of my job is providing, and what i’m doing is providing for you and your future” You correct yourself, giving him a pleading look, searching in his eyes for a look of understanding, which you soon found. He relaxed a bit and wasn’t as tense as before, nodding in approval. You quickly smiled, thankful this situation didn’t have to escalate to a serious argument like it has before hand. Those times were the worst times for the both of you, and thankfully you’ve both been able to talk them out and set boundaries and learn from past mistakes, if anything Mo’at would repeat how times like those strengthens the relationship you two share, and she wasn’t wrong.
“m’sorry” He said quietly, but loud enough for you to hear, rubbing his hands together and sitting down, his tail curling up beside him with his head down. “syeha si tam [breathe, it’s okay], you have nothing to apologize for, i’m sorry too, the position you’re in isn’t easy, trust me I know” you said calmly, slowly walking over to him, just for him to open up his arms. You slowly walked over to him, quickly embracing him just for him to do the same with you. You sighed and smiled softly, your head resting on his.
Come to think of it Jake was always a physical kind of person, “touchy” is what the term is. Whenever things would go wrong with him or the clan he would drain out quickly, before he didn’t have anyone to rely on, not a friend close enough for him to talk to so he would create a relationship with Mo’at, asking her for advice and methods to aid him, right before he came across you. You would be seated with Mo’at, mixing herbs for her while listening to their conversations, on specific days jake would speak about certain na’vi women attempting to court him, which made you giggle when you first heard it
“Who is she?” Jake asked quickly glancing over at you, as you quickly covered your mouth to stop any other laughter. Mo’at turned to you and back at Jake softly smiling. “Her name is y/n, I love her like a daughter of mine, she’s been under my arm for the past 12 years” She said proudly, Jake nodded his head, not taking his eyes off of you, watching as you walked over and stood beside Mo’at.
“Ohe ahasey sa’nok” [I’ve finished mother] You said, placing the bowl in Mo’at’s hands, smiling at her, she thanked you and introduced you to Jake. “Te suli, this is y/n, y/n this is tsyeyk suli, our olo’ektyan” She stated, directing her hand to you than back to jake. You quickly signed the “I see you” gesture saying “Oel ngati kameie” as he nodded and repeated the same action. You looked him in his eyes, just to realize he was looking at you this whole time, you quickly looked to the side and began to distract yourself.
He had such an intense gaze, does he look at everyone like that? You asked yourself, your tail thrashing back and forth recalling the scene that happened just seconds ago.
“If you need extra assistance I can always have y/n accompany you, she’s always wanted to to explore other fields of work, I think she could help you a lot” Mo’at spoke soothingly, placing the bowl you gave her down and adding bandages to it. Jake continued to watch you, listening to Mo’at’s words carefully, still grinning ear to ear.
“I’d love that” He said, slowly standing up to take his leave.
That was 4 months ago, since then Jake has been very open with you, always in need of a hug and consolidation, which you were happy to give. Although it was painful how often you’d have to remind yourself not to mix pleasure and business, you’re helping you’re olo’ektyan, he’s just worn out and exhausted. Surely tonight would help him, deeming the celebration would be in his favor, celebrating his successful raid with his party and no injuries or casualties were gained.
“I’ll see you tonight?” He asked, slowly releasing you from his grasp and looking up at you, you just looked down at him smiling and nodding softly. “Of course, just don’t expect me to be there early, i’ll be coming with Za’yukto” You said, slowly backing up ready to leave, jake quickly grabbed your hand as soon as you turned around.
“Who is that?” He asked, you turned to face him to see his demeanor quickly changed. His jaw had clenched and his grip on your hand was getting tighter by the second. “Just a friend of mine, he didn’t want to go alone so I volunteered to take him, just for a while” You said harmlessly, he tilted his head, looking at you up and down before responding. He opened his mouth just to slowly close is and take a deep breath, making direct eye contact with you. “Just… just don’t be too late okay? I’ll be waiting for you” He said softly, his ears lowering slightly as he let go of your hand.
“Of course, and if you ever get too bored you can talk to all of your other friends there” You joked, quickly getting your belongings and leaving shortly.
✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿ ✿
You glanced in your small reflection for a final time before leaving your small hut. You haven’t done much to your appearance other than brushing out your braids and changing your purple beaded top to a red one, you’ve always liked how the colors looked on you.
This’ll do. You thought, it was too late to turn back and change now, you’ve already gone so far anyway. You looked pleasant, eye-catching, which was the exact look you were hoping for, hopefully you’d get someone to look at you during tonight’s celebration, or maybe a specific someone. Of course that specific someone being non other than J-
“Y/N!! Are you here?” You stopped dead in your tracks quickly walking over to the entrance of your hut.
That’s Za’yukto’s voice. “Hi, sorry, ohe am lonu to sìltsan” [I’m ready to go] You stated, stepping outside and quickly setting down the entrance of your hut with a smile, looking up at him. He smiled in response and complimented you, to which you thanked him and began making your way to the spirit tree for the celebration.
Soon after you two arrived, you quickly began to adjust your top, brush off your loincloth and hair, saying your goodbyes to Za’yu as you made your way to look for Jake, thankfully finding him quickly-
He’s with someone, you thought, seeing him off to the side laughing with a large drink in his hand, obviously being alcohol, of course stronger than any human substances and yet tasting even sweeter than anything you’ve ever had before. Seeing him happy like that did nothing more than make you smile a bit, he’s been stressed lately, he needs some sort of release. You quickly walk to the side getting closer to him just to see he’s doing more than just talking.
More than just laughing, and not with any someone, with a woman.
And he’s…. he’s kissing her? They’re kissing, they’re definitely kissing, and he’s not kissing just any woman, it’s the first na’vi you ever brought towards him to consider that he immediately rejected, simply telling you “There’s nothing special about her”.
Ewya.
You didn’t even bother making your way over to him, you’d already seen enough, feeling your face heat up out of sheer embarrassment and your eyes beginning to burn. On one swift motion you turn around to find Za’yu and to your surprise he already had a large cup waiting for you. You quickly grabbed it and chugged it down, your face immediately going from a sour look to more relaxed.
“Syeha si y/n!!” [Breathe y/n!!] Za’yu said, quickly taking the now empty cup from your hands as you just smiled at him. “I’m fine, come dance with me?” you asked, holding his hand. He just shook his head and placed the cups down on a table beside him, quickly taking you to the center of the dancefloor and began dancing with you in his arms.
This is a party, a place to let loose and celebrate, and that’s exactly what you planned on doing. You hooked your arms around Za’yu’s shoulders, pulling him a little closer, and looking at him intensely. You’d be lying if you said Za’yu wasn’t attractive, he was insanely attractive and overall perfect, everything a woman would look for in a man, he was skilled, intelligent, good looking, and strong? A complete package. Especially with the fact he’s such a gentleman, that’s what triggered your friendship so quickly.
He looked down at you, his hands traveling from your back to your waist, grinning at you. You slowly pushed yourself up against his body, feeling your beaded top clink against his broad chest. You slowly climb up on your tippy toes closer and closer to his face, as he too moves in closer, just for you to reach towards his ear and kiss it.
“Can you get me another drink please? I’m so thirsty” You ask him playfully, rubbing your 4 fingers against your throat slowly, licking your lips at him. He nodded and reached down to your collarbone, kissing it softly before leaving to get you a drink.
Soon after dancing by yourself you feel a hand rest on your stomach and trail down to your pelvis, holding you securely as your back rests on his back, you lift your head up quickly to see Za’yu, with your drink in his hand as he smiled down at you. You slowly got onto your tippy toes and kissed him, just to taste residue of alcohol that he previously consumed, smiling at the sweet taste, and taking the cup from his hands and quickly finishing it, dropping the cup and turning to face him, kissing him again.
Honestly at this state you’re wondering where jake was, if he was enjoying himself with his dick probably down that girls throat, but at the same time you were too fucked out and having way too much fun to care. Your shared kisses with Za’yu quickly became more intimate and more active, exchanging saliva and practically moaning into his mouth while still dancing, now slowly beginning to grind yourself onto him.
“Za’yu-“ You moaned softly against his lips, barely being able to catch your breath. “I know tìyawn, I know, mawepey” [I know love, I know, be patient] He said softly, his kisses trailing from your lips to your jawline and down to your neck, beginning to suck on you softly.
You rested your hand on the back of his neck, slowly playing with his hair and mewling softly, your ears perked up and your tail curling around your leg. He continued however, lowering down to your collarbone, kissing it softly before continuing his assault.
“ ‘Yu, can w- can we go back to my place? Please” You whimper softly, as he slowly moves his head up to look at you, kissing you softly. “Whatever you want y/n”. He said, quickly going to hold your hand, just as you turn around someone crashes into you spilling their drink all over you.
Of course it was none other than Ninat, whos throat Jake was previously shoving his tongue down. “Shouldn’t you be all on the olo’ektyan?” You muttered quietly, thankful no one heard you. Before listening to her pleads and apologies you simply just shoved past her, clinging onto Za’yukto tightly. “Don’t worry we’ll get you cleaned up, come on” He said.
Soon enough you both arrived to your hut , walking straight into the back of your hut and dragging him along, to which he quickly obliged. You stepped into the small pond behind your hut and began removing your strained top and loincloth, ushering him to do the same, which he quickly did.
“I’m going to clean you up first” He said, smiling down at you and grabbing a nearby rag to wipe any access alcohol off of you. He was gentle and caring, he only looked above your collarbone and refused to look lower, to make sure ‘you felt comfortable’ was his excuse, you found his caring and respectful nature cute though, knowing there were a lot of navi men out there who would not do the same. You just helped guide his hand to where he had to clean off until he kissed you again, letting his hands trail up from your waist to your soft breasts.
“Is this okay?” He asked softly, looking in your eyes for complete confirmation, to which you nodded and smiled in response. He let his fingers graze against your nipples a few times before toying with you, lowering his head before taking your left breast into his mouth, rolling his tongue onto your nipple, making you moan softly, quickly gripping onto the back of his hair softly. “That’s not the only place that needs attention, i’m still dirty elsewhere” You teased, he looked up at you repositioning himself, giving you a cocky look before answering.
“Oh yeah? Where would that be?” He asked, you quickly took his hand to show him, hovering over your stomach, but before you could continue a wave of sickness hit you, making you pause. Za’yu quickly took notice of this and how your expression changed. “Hey, what’s wrong what happened” He asked, now completely serious as you now grabbed onto his shoulder for support. “I feel a little sick” You managed to make out weakly, he quickly finished cleaning you off and immediately got you out of the small pond, drying you up and taking you inside to get you into something, but not before you threw up on the side of the mossy ground twice before crying.
“It hurts” You said, your voice hoarse and dry, which reminded Za’yukto to get you some water, he instructed for you to stay in your room and get dressed as he fetched you something to drink along with a small herb to help with the burning of your throat.
You quickly got changed, sitting patiently for Za’yu, and he soon came telling you to swallow one of your own handmade herbal medicine and a glass of water behind it, which you did. “You need to get some rest, you’ve had a long night” He said, placing his hand onto your shoulder, rubbing it softly and smiling at you. You didn’t respond, only placing the glass down and sprawling yourself against your bed, your back now facing Za’yu.
A moment of silence has passed, he hasn’t left and you haven’t fallen asleep yet, why is he still-
“I’ll stop by tomorrow to check up on you” He quickly stated, interrupting your thoughts, you don’t answer and he takes the silence as a sign you must be asleep, big mistake.
“Hopefully tonight didn’t change anything within our friendship, i’m not looking for a mate or to court anyone now, it was never my intention to move so quickly with you” He mumbled, but loud enough for you to hear, and shift in the bed as a response, you waited to hear the flap of your hut close before letting the tears in your eyes roll out over your nose and stain your bed.
This was going to be such a long night, and tomorrow morning even longer.

The view of Pandora from the sky should’ve been amazing. Your heart should’ve leaped many times over as the Samson ship flew over many beautiful sights of nature. It should’ve finally occurred to you that you were on the planet of your dreams, that you were witnessing the life of Pandora, mask and all.
Instead, you just stared at the world as if you weren’t in your own body. Floating outside of it and looking down at yourself. It hurt that you practically didn’t recognize yourself anymore. And you wished you could blame it on your current circumstance but even before you were brought to Pandora, before your mother’s forest had withered away, you had always had this familiar feeling. This dislike of what you were becoming.
Bitter. Resentful. The child-like wonder, long gone. You hated what you saw. You hated how so easily you believed back then that your own mother would’ve abandoned you—forgotten you simply because she was on a different planet. How selfish could you have gotten?
You had been burying yourself in jealousy while your mother was already six feet below you.
In the corner of your eye, you spotted Jake flying next to the ship, on one of those winged creatures. You hadn’t noticed Norm, who sat across from you, watching your expression with a frown. You hadn’t realized he’d seen the dullness in your eyes, the exhaustion making you way older than you were. You weren’t even that old actually—but the world aged you. In a way, no one should have to experience.
“They’re called ikrans.” You dragged your eyes toward Norm who nodded his head toward the creature Jake was flying on. Both of you watched as he flew by and took to the front, leading the Samson ship. “It’s who the Na’vi bond with for life. And their way to get around. It’s a lot better than walking, I can tell you that.”
He chuckled a little while you nodded absentmindedly, barely taking in the information he was giving you.
“You’ll definitely appreciate the life here a lot more when you’re steering your avatar.” Norm added on after a pause.
Okay, he must’ve noticed your lack of interest at some point, right? Why was he so adamant to have a conversation with you? What exactly was he trying to accomplish?
Your mind spurred slowly as you finally watched him, both warily and with interest. Maybe you could take advantage of his talkative mood and gain some type of understanding here. Maybe it would help your mind focus on anything else at the moment. That always helped. Forcing your brain to hyper-fixate on something else besides your own psyche.
“Tell me about the war.” You finally said to him. Norm raised his brows, startled. “Clearly, I have no idea what exactly happened a year before I arrived. And DeVoe didn’t either, considering she thought she would win against the attack on our ship. Clearly, she forgot that a lot could happen during five years of cryosleep.”
With that, he nodded, “Yes, you’re right.” You watched his thoughtful expression turn to sorrow, as his gaze went back to the view below them.
A view you should’ve been looking at too. But for some reason, you just couldn’t bring yourself to do it. It hurt too much. It would only keep reminding you…
“There used to be this place called the Kelutral.” Norm began, finally, drawing your mind back to him. Refocusing your gaze on his grim features. “It was this big tree that the Omatikaya used to call their home until the RDA destroyed it for a bunch of unobtanium that was buried beneath the tree. Basically, the rich fucks took their home away and that caused the war that led us into exiling the RDA off this planet. Jake, who was considered an outsider before, helped reunite the other clans to defeat them, Toruk Makto. Because of this title, he was accepted into the Omatikaya, despite being a Sky Person as well.”
You watched him with a frown, taking in the brief, summarized story. “So what, should I become some great warrior to impress the natives too?”
“Couldn’t hurt.” Norm shrugged with half a joking smirk but winced right after. “Don’t know if there’s a lot to choose from though.”
You scowled, not really in the mood to match his playful response, “And Sully knows what it’s like to be an outsider yet acts like a total dickhead still? Some guy.”
Norm awkwardly scratched the back of his head, “Your arrival did kind of spook us, and it happening a year after the RDA were gone too—it was just bad timing, really, Doc. I’m sure once this all cools down then Jake will, I don’t know, get his head out of his own ass and finally get it. But right now, he’s just—they’re all scared. And I can’t necessarily blame him for that either.”
Somewhere, behind all this anger, grief, and exhaustion, there was some part of you that did understand it.
But rationality was hard to come by now. Being reasonable was far from your grasp—in fact, you kicked it away out of spite. Every bit of you just wanted to embrace this anger, embrace this frustration.
You did not ask to be put here. To you, at this moment in time, that was all that mattered.
You were wronged. You were kidnapped. You weren’t responsible for what the RDA had done here—nor what your mother had accomplished on this planet. None of it had anything to do with you.
And for a brief moment, this selfishness felt right. There was no self-hatred for what you felt here. Because you were right to be pissed off at your situation. And no one was going to make you feel bad for it.
Norm didn’t. He took to being neutral. Understanding your side and the natives—which was somewhat fair. At least he didn’t completely write you off as some sort of destructive lost cause.
At some point, Jake maneuvered from the front of the ship to the side of it, gesturing for the pilot to land. You braced yourself as the Samson lowered itself to the ground, the trees flying around you from the spinning blades of the ship.
Once the ship was securely on the ground, you followed Norm off the ship just as Jake landed his winged creature—ikran—in a tree a few feet away from you. After adjusting the exopack you wore—again—Jake landed on the ground and flicked his head in the direction straight head.
“This way.”
The forest was vast and big around you. Perhaps even a bit scary if not for the natural lighting of the plants—bioluminescence—surrounding you. If your mind wasn’t so distracted, you would’ve thought it was absolutely beautiful and ethereal. Unlike anything you had seen in your life.
As you walked, many small creatures flew around you. One of them was a flying lizard which glowed along with the forest. A kenten, you remembered them from your mother’s videos. It flew around you for a bit until it moved on. For a moment, you watched it until you couldn’t see it much anymore as it flew further and further away.
You tried to will some type of amazement. Some type of awe. But nothing came to you. Nothing at all. So, you moved forward, forcing yourself to forget the flying lizard and focus on what was ahead of you.
The clan’s new home must’ve been close by since Jake decided to make them walk the rest of the way to it. Norm was still beside you, also in human form which was slightly comforting. At least you wouldn’t be the only puny creature here.
When you began spotting huts in trees, that’s when you realized you must’ve arrived. The first few practically blended in with the nature of Pandora. But as Jake led you deeper, more huts began to appear, more visible as you walked by. Natives were out and about as well. Children, women, and men alike.
Now you really felt small. Almost pathetic. Being among the Na’vi constantly reminded you of this. Even the children sometimes towered over you. The smallest one that you passed had to have reached your shoulder, and she looked young. Seven years old at least.
Jake glanced over his shoulder at the two of you every now and then, making sure that you were keeping up and that he didn’t lose his eyes on you. He wasn’t the only one watching you keenly, some of the natives did as well. Making you feel both self-conscious of yourself and rather irritated. It was like they wanted you to snap at them.
Next to you, Norm whispered. “The Tsahik, Mo’at, is pretty wise. Basically, everyone looks to her as a spiritual leader. A spokesperson. Interpreting the will of their deity, Eywa.”
“So why does she need to see me?” You questioned as Jake led the both of you to a hut, stopping just at the entrance of it.
Jake looked at you—his face still unreadable—“Wait here.” And he ducked inside. Leaving both you and Norm outside.
The scientist shifted next to you, “Probably to determine whether or not Eywa has truly chosen you.”
“Chosen me?” You repeated incredulously.
“Well, Neytiri did say that those woodspirites—atokirina—were around you earlier.”
“So?”
Norm frowned exasperatedly, “To them that means something. Which means your odds might not be looking too bad now.”
At that, you rolled your eyes, trying to ignore the long curious looks sent your way by the natives. “You’re all more worried about my odds than me.”
He didn’t respond despite the question in his frown. You didn’t offer an explanation.
A minute or two later, Neytiri came out of the hut instead of Jake. She still held a thoughtful yet wary expression when looking down at you. “The Tsahik will see you now.”
Norm gave you a pat on your back, “Good luck.”
Again, not offering a response, you followed Neytiri into the hut, not before hearing Norm say behind you, “I’ll be out here if you need me—"
Inside the Tsahik’s hut, it was pretty spacious—probably because everything just looked much larger to you than it actually was. There were a lot of earthy materials—the air smelled of smoke, herbs, and spice of sorts. Unlike anything you’ve ever smelled on Earth.
A part of you expected this from a Na’vi shaman, so you didn’t observe too much of the space you were in.
Instead, you focused on your busy mind. Your walls going up to defend against any accusation attacks or insults that would be sent your way because of your species, because of your unwelcomed arrival here. Observing the unique hut wasn’t much of an option when your eyes settled on the woman at the center of it.
She was sitting on the ground, eyes focused on something in the wooden bowl she held in her four-fingered hand. She had yet to look up at you, but she didn’t tense at your presence. Not like how Jake did in the corner of your eye—whom you just now noticed standing near the entrance of the hut.
How you had missed his tall blue ass, you didn’t know.
Your mind had been too blurred and defensive as soon as you stepped in. Not realizing until then that you were standing in front of the Tsahik of the Omatikaya Clan.
Suddenly, you felt intimidated. Like the type of intimidation, you were sure you were supposed to feel while facing Jake. Only you didn’t with him.
But with her? No, there was something about her that exuded something far more powerful than some scary Marine. She hadn’t even said anything yet and you for some reason stiffened at the sight of her.
Mo’at turned her attention to you. “Come, sawtute. Sit.”
Cautiously, you came forward and sat where Mo’at pointed. Neytiri had come inside shortly after, taking the spot behind Mo’at. Watching you and her keenly. You realized while looking at both Na’vi women, how similar they were.
Jake was still standing near the entrance.
All eyes were on you.
And you truly realized then that you were alone. That, essentially, everyone was against you. The way each Na’vi eyed you carefully, as if watching for any sudden movements, the same as the first time you met both Jake and Neytiri at Hell’s Gate.
You realized that the only person who had been in your corner was gone.
It was you against Pandora.
Something suddenly pricked you, interrupting your bleak thoughts. Mo’at held a needle of sorts which was now red with your blood. You watched as she gave it a sniff and then a lick, something you would’ve cringed at if not for your and everyone else’s silent anticipation. All you could do was sit silently, spine straight and protected by steel.
Ready to fight for yourself because no one else would.
Mo’at then peered down at you, “You know who I am.”
You blinked at the question, “Norm told me, yes.”
She made a sound of content with your reply.
Another beat went by as she stared at you, “Tell me about your dying planet. Tell me why you have no interest in making our home yours like your clan.”
You stopped, staring at her in bleak surprise. That certainly wasn’t something you were prepared to answer. Again, you blinked and Mo’at stared at you expectantly.
Unsurely, you finally replied, “It’s like you said. It’s dying. I don’t know how much simpler that can get for you. Saving our home—it’s a naïve dream. That’s pretty obvious, isn’t it? Humans killed our own planet and now we want to claim another, just to fuck that one up too.”
Neytiri’s tail moved slightly behind her. In the corner of your eye, Jake stiffened—the only former human here who knew what you were talking about. Who understood what you meant, where you came from, and your position.
For some reason, that only made you angrier at him. For some reason, now he wanted to pretend that none of that happened. That you, just like the RDA, were just as bad. Without even trying to understand your side.
Mo’at raised a hand as if silencing your bitter thoughts. “I didn’t ask for ‘we’. I want to know why you aren’t following your clan’s ideas. What makes you different from the rest of those sky demons?”
Still confused and now annoyed, you respond anyway, “Because I have no interest in trying anymore.”
And you paused, remembering your mother’s songcord in the back of your pants pocket. You moved your gaze down to your hands, which were clutching your knees until your knuckles were practically shades lighter than your skin.
“Back on Earth, my mother—she believed in the hope that she could save it by starting small. Never mind the hundreds of years of wasted pollution or deforestation, she believed there was still a way to save it. So, she created the Amazon Project. There was still a small patch of land in Brazil left untouched. She took the opportunity to nurture and protect it. Since I was young, I’ve been working under her. Watching her succeed in her project. Until she passed it down to me. To care for it while she left for the Avatar Program. And I was happy to do it. I wanted to see my mother’s work flourish even if she wasn’t at my side. I did it to make her proud.”
Again, you paused, resisting the urge to reach for the songcord to distract your hands. Despite your trembling, your voice remained steady, “Five years later, RDA agents tell me she died a year into her stay there. Her forest is gone too. By fire. Deforestation. As all the others.”
Mo’at was quiet but thoughtful. Neytiri was staring at you still, her expression less wary, less—almost no severity left there. She was listening, closely. The way her ears twitched every now and then was a sure sign of it.
You couldn’t see Jake’s reaction, your gaze going back down to your hands again.
Until Mo’at finally spoke, “And now you are here. Yet you have no interest in following your clan’s path. Because you have, ‘given up’. Now I am told that we cannot escort you off this planet. So why should my people trust you to stay here—”
“I didn’t want to be here.” You were tired of saying it. Tired of fighting for your innocence here. Fighting for them to see that you too were wronged here. That you were the victim, not the monster in all of this mess.
If anyone was to blame, it was DeVoe.
But DeVoe was dead. And you were left fending for yourself.
And you were angry all over again.
“The RDA wanted me to come here and continue my mother’s work. I refused and they brought me here against my will. They tried to get me to buy into this bullshit lie that my mother wanted this, when really they were just desperate fuckers who wanted to get their hands on her work. I destroyed it. No one, not even me, could use it. And if you’re not happy with that explanation either, then do what you want with me—I don’t know how many times I have to say it. I’m not here to take anything. I’m not here to live among you and I’m not here for the Avatar Program—if killing me is all it takes for this shit to end then just get it over with already—”
You missed the way Neytiri frowned, confused by your words. You missed the way Jake winced and looked away from your smaller hunched figure. You missed the way Mo’at nearly chuckled at your words. Because it was always amusing how many didn’t realize how the Great Mother worked. Even when it happened in front of them.
The flaps of the hut entrance yanked open as two Na’vi figures stepped inside. One of them you recognized as the clan leader, Tsu’tey?—while the other was an older woman with a sling across her chest. And in that sling was a sleeping baby.
His eyes found you and his scowl worsened, “What is this?!”
“Tsu’tey,” Neytiri warned as she stood. She moved around Mo’at while saying something to him in their language.
He ignored her and looked to Mo’at, “Why is the demon here?! I already said it isn’t welcomed on our land!”
“I called her here, Olo’eyktan,” Mo’at responded simply, looking increasingly similar to Neytiri as a sort of warning appeared on her own lithe face.
Even Jake stepped forward, placing a hand on the male’s shoulder in an attempt to calm him down, “Just be calm. Mo’at—”
“We agreed the demon would be gone!” Tsu’tey snapped, now glaring at you again. You stared back impassively and for some reason that only seemed to piss him off. “And now you’ve shown her our home and endangered us all!”
Neytiri then hissed at him in their language. You watched both of them quietly go back and forth, Jake even adding input every now and then. Whatever it was they were saying, Tsu’tey didn’t look too happy about it.
“The atokirina has given us a sign.” Mo’at interrupted the three in English as she gestured to you. “Allow her to explain her intentions to the Olo’eyktan and then we can decide—”
“It is already decided.” Tsu’tey snarled. “She leaves—”
“There’s no ship we have that can send her back,” Jake informed calmly. He glanced toward you for a beat, something settling in his yellow gaze before looking back at the heated male. He continued whatever he said to try to persuade the chief in Na’vi. His use of the language wasn't as natural coming from him—which, you noted, showed he hadn’t been experienced in their language for long now.
Neytiri also grabbed and squeezed at Tsu’tey’s arm as she spoke, this time her words sounded a lot more clear instead of quick with a hiss like before. She too was trying to persuade him—or perhaps you weren’t reading their body language right. After all, you were practically the only one in the hut that didn’t speak the language. Who knew what they could’ve been saying about you—which was slightly irritating.
The nameless woman, whom you had forgotten was there until you spotted the vicious scowl she sent Jake. She was older, around the same age as Mo’at. Had to be. And she was holding that baby in her sling close to her chest, protectively almost. Like there was no way she would let the infant go, not even if someone dared to ask to hold it. Hell, you weren’t even sure if the baby even belonged to her.
But she did look eerily similar to Tsu’tey. Same scowl and all.
And the baby, despite the chaos, was still sound asleep.
There was a certain innocence at the sight. Something so pure about it.
“You claimed to have left the Sky People.” You tore your eyes away from the baby to find a restrained-looking Tsu’tey now peering down at you. “And that you do not want our home. Then what is it that you want, demon?”
Another question you weren’t prepared for. Frankly, you didn’t think they cared for what you personally wanted, even if they got over their fear of you destroying their home like the RDA had done.
Jake and Neytiri now stared at you expectantly. Neytiri’s gaze curious while Jake, as usual, was guarded.
Mo’at also watched you, keenly. Like she knew something you didn’t.
And the nameless woman continued glaring at you with pure and utter hatred.
“Since I can’t go back home. I don’t know.”
Maybe you’ll lay down next to your mother’s grave. Until you turn into a rock, keeping her company.
Tsu’tey scowled, his tail lashing behind him. “That’s not an answer.”
“Well, I don’t know what to fucking tell you. I just lost the one person I ever cared for—so yes, that’s my answer. I don’t know.” You never broke eye contact with him as you said this. Even when he leered at you for your response. There was a certain bite to your words, especially when you said, “God, it’s like you all haven’t fucking lost someone before. Sorry, if my grievance is such an inconvenience to you all.”
Jake winced at this while Neytiri lowered her head. Tsu’tey didn’t appear phased by the comment but his face noticeably grew more hostile, baring his teeth.
Unbeknownst to you, the nameless woman, Artsut, suddenly hissed in offense for her son, “Are you going to let that demon talk to you in such a way, son? You are Olo’eyktan! Put that alien in her place!”
“Be calm,” Jake warned her with a certain look that meant he was not in the mood for her and her unnecessary comments right now.
But of course, Artsut bit back, “You do not get to tell me to calm down, demon! This is your people! You brought her here, it is your fault for this!”
Jake scowled but swallowed his venomous response down his throat.
Because he knew she wasn’t wrong. His presence alone already made some of the natives uneasy. Toruk Makto or not. And he knew that it could draw more Sky People here one day, after pushing the RDA out. The inkling of vengeance they might take on him and the people never left Jake. Not even when he thought he was finally at peace.
“The Tsahik decides what to do next.” Neytiri reminded the woman with a stone look sent her way. “You do not interfere.”
She refrained from screwing her face into a scowl at the sight of Artsut holding Neteyam. But she could not deny her right to hold her grandson. Not even when it made her sick at times.
Instead of bringing attention to it, Neytiri pointed toward the entrance, “Leave. Take our son to bed. You are not needed here.”
Artsut scowled and looked at her son, “Tsu’tey! You let her dismiss me like this? Your own mother?”
Without looking away from you, Tsu’tey muttered, “Take Neteyam, mother. I will find you later.”
With a huff, Artsut raised her chin, sending you another glare as she said, “I hope you kill that demon where she sits. The Great Mother will forgive you if you at least get rid of one stain on our land.”
In the corner of your eye, the woman left finally, and whatever she had said clearly angered Neytiri and made Jake go quiet as he watched her leave with a solemn look.
“What will you do with her then, Olo’eyktan?” Mo’at questioned in English.
You still didn’t look away from Tsu’tey, almost like a silent challenge between the two of you.
Mo’at watched the both of you. All four of you.
Until someone cleared their throat.
At the sudden sound, all of you turned your attention to the hut entrance, finding Norm standing there looking just as puny as you.
“Dr. Reeds can stay at Hell’s Gate with the rest of us—she doesn’t have to be here if you don’t her here. And since she’s a scientist, Dr Patel can take her on. She’ll be out of the way.” Norm offered, carefully when he took in everyone’s different expressions. Including yours.
She’ll be out of the way.
“Thanks, Norm.” You snipped dryly.
He sent you a pointed look. You rolled your eyes but willed yourself to stay quiet. Mostly, because you didn’t care for all of this anymore. You said your peace and now you were done explaining yourself.
All you wanted to do now was sleep.
You almost missed Tsu’tey’s reply as your mind began to drift, “Away with her then. If I see the demon again, I will deal with it my way.”
There was a shudder through your body at the finality of the conversation. But you remained quiet, staring down at your hands, remnants of dirt still left on your fingernails and palms.
The world had gone too quiet, even when you halfheartedly watched everyone’s mouth move. Only for nothing to come out of it but soundless silence.
Eventually, you were allowed to follow Norm out of the hut and back into the village. Getting ready to leave for Hell’s Gate. At some point, you were floating outside of your body again.
Until Norm spoke next to you, “I think that went well. I’ll have to talk to Dr. Patel and arrange everything—but all in all, you’ll get situated just fine. Plus, you still have your avatar—hey are you okay?”
You barely heard his question or anything prior to that. Your knees buckled and your mask began to fog up from the hot tears rolling down your cheeks.
You weren’t wailing. You weren’t shouting. You just cried on the forest floor with quick breaths and a racing heart.
“Dr. Reeds?” Norm knelt down beside you. “Are you—what—”
You just shook your head and continued crying, clutching your shaky hands to your chest. Letting everything you held back in the hut slam into you like a tsunami wave. Overwhelming you. Disarming you and your walls.
“Okay,” Norm mumbled, looking around. Fortunately, you had made it far enough away from prying eyes. He then patted your back, “Okay—Okay, if it helps, I’m here for you. I won’t go anywhere, right? We’ll sit here until you’re ready, yeah?”
Tumblr media
You didn’t get out of your bed for the first few days.
Norm showed you your new room after coming back from your visit with Mo’at. Since then, you stayed there.
Fortunately, no one came to get you. Norm only came around to drop off the food you barely ended up touching.
At some point, you realized that there was just no way you could get out of bed. Everything finally came crashing down. The anger still simmered with your situation, but at this point, there was nothing you could do about it. Even if you could go back, there was nothing waiting for you back at home.
Your mother’s songcord lied on the dresser next to the cot you slept on. Sometimes you’d stare at it and other times you’d get so angry at the sight of it that you’d throw it into one of the drawers. Leaving it there until you quietly panicked and took it back out again.
You hadn’t left the room. The world of Pandora was out there and yet you were here. You couldn’t move. Your body was stone.
And you were fine with being stone.
At least the skin would be harder to break this time.
Tumblr media
“It is not your fault,” Tsu’tey said, pulling Jake out of his swimming thoughts—nearly drowning if not for a hand always latching onto him, keeping his body dangling above the waters.
When Jake tore his drifting gaze away from sharpening his arrow, his mate was sitting next to him, eyes soft but face set in a determined frown. As if Tsu’tey made a mission for himself. “I will not let you blame yourself for this. I do not care for my mother’s words and neither should you, tiyawn.”
In response, Jake offered a short nod, not entirely trusting himself to speak at the moment.
Guilt wasn’t a stranger to him. He would live with this until his body was buried somewhere on this planet. He would live with this guilt for the rest of his life.
For Grace. For Neytiri’s father. For Tommy.
Suppose all of this started with his twin brother. Suppose it always did.
“I will always be human,” Jake said to both himself and Tsu’tey, clutching the arrow tightly in his grasp. “That’s never going to change. And I gotta live with that.”
Tsu’tey took his hand—the one gripping the arrow—and squeezed it gently. “I know this. Neytiri knows this. Neteyam is half of you. And half of us. You have proven yourself, Jakesully. Long ago. We have not forgotten what you have done for us. What you’ve done for me.”
Jake winced and looked away.
It wasn’t selfless—saving Tsu’tey after the battle with the Sky People. He had only done it because he didn’t deserve the title. He didn’t want the title. If Tsu’tey lived, he would still be Olo’eyktan. And Jake would just be the Toruk Makto. Nothing more and nothing less.
It wasn’t selfless. It wasn’t.
Tumblr media
There was one tablet in your room. At some point, you dragged yourself from the cot and grabbed it.
Turning it on, you searched the system for Joan Reeds.
Her video logs came up. The public ones at least. The ones you destroyed were private. Only for you to see in the end.
This video had to have been when she first arrived. Maybe a few days later.
“Log—um, wait, what day is it?” Already your mother looked frazzled as she searched around the public lab she was in. “Oh! Found it! Video log 10. Today, I got to run around in my avatar and gosh, it’s so jarring how small everyone is—or how small you are. I keep tripping over myself so Dr. Augustine has me putting in more work. Says I’m not useful if I’m always falling on my face. Jokes on her, I’m always falling on my face…I probably won’t be allowed outside of the Avatar Compound.”
Joan laughed at herself in the video. Your heart tugged at the twinkle in her eye as she kept going on and on about her week so far. You listened intently, ignoring the plate of food sitting on your dresser.
In another video, Joan steered off updates and instead took out a tablet. Showing the camera a picture of a forest.
Her forest. On Earth.
Joan was smiling brightly here, “This is the Amazon back on Earth. Or what’s left of it, still preserved under my daughter’s watch. I taught her everything she knows. My very own little shadow. You know when she was smaller, she always used to follow me around. And I mean all the time. Hence the nickname I gave her.” She paused, the smiling faltering a bit. “She doesn’t do it anymore—has a doctorate and everything. My baby’s all grown up. And so, so, talented.”
“Reeds, you’re supposed to be logging. Not crying over your baby photos again.” A voice said in the background.
Joan pouted, “I know, I know. Alright, here come the boring parts—”
“Reeds!”
“Kidding, kidding!”
The video stopped. She never did get to the boring parts.
You stared at the screen in silence. And then you replayed the video. A few more times that night.
Tumblr media
Tsu’tey felt small whenever he went to see Mo’at.
Most times he was always accompanied by either Jake or Neytiri—sometimes both—or to bring a warrior who needed healing after a bad hunt.
But when it was just him, it was always different. It had been this way ever since he was young. She just always had this air of importance about her—royalty even. Sometimes—all the time—she was often regarded highly over the Olo’eyktan. Tsu’tey even saw her as the true ruler over the Omatikaya, even before he was named their chief.
It had gotten better, visiting her in his young adolescent years. However, that was only because of their shared grief and the loss of Sylwanin years before. It was easier to be around someone who understood. It was the same with Neytiri. The intimidation was lost because of this.
But now things have changed. Too many things.
After the war, after the battle with the Sky People, Tsu’tey didn’t remember the end result. He never saw them win. Not when he was shot down by one of the Sky People. All he remembered was falling from one of their flying ships and falling back into the arms of his home. Readily to embrace his impending death. Ready to greet Eywa.
He remembered Neytiri crying over his body. He remembered trying to make Jake the next Olo’eyktan. And then it was just darkness. Nothingness. For a moment he could’ve sworn he saw Sylwanin.
And then he woke up with Mo’at crouched over him, hard at work at his severe wounds. Wounds he was sure he would’ve died from. Should’ve died from.
Tsu’tey had lived through the war and came back with nightmares and aching scars in his wake. Sometimes wishing he had stayed asleep for good.
Then the pain would be gone. Then the strange tightness in his chest would go away. Then he wouldn’t have to keep experiencing his breath shortening and his heart racing every time the world spun just a little too much or he’d pulled himself—half a man—out of another one of his nightmares.
Then he wouldn’t have to suffer.
Then he would be at peace.
But a gentle hand always pulled him back. Lifting him out of the ocean. Keeping his head just above the waters, just enough that he could breathe.
Neteyam’s eyes held him in place and stopped his world from spinning.
The world got a little brighter because of his little boy. Because of his mates.
So, when Tsu’tey visited Mo’at on the day of one of his healing sessions, there was always something to keep his head floating above water.
Today it was Neytiri who had his hand against her cheek, running fingers down his arms softly as Mo’at massaged the healing wounds on his back and chest. Last night it was Jake, who hugged him tightly after waking up from one of his nightmares. The day before it had been Neteyam. And the day before that, it had been unintentionally you. His rage for the Sky People kept him grounded.
And tomorrow, he didn’t know what it would bring. He would just have to leave it to the Great Mother. And pray that she doesn’t want him to suffer.
Tumblr media
Slowly, you began to eat again. And that was a start.
Tumblr media
By the third week, you began doing little exercises in your room.
Push-ups. Sit-ups. Planks. Anything to make your mind start moving again.
It wasn’t perfect. You knew this. But you tried.
One day at a time.
Tumblr media
Neytiri and grief were friends.
There was nothing difficult about her emotions or how she expressed herself. Neytiri felt everything. And she could not stop feeling. She could not stop understanding.
So she understood Tsu’tey when he changed after Sylwanin’s death. Neytiri had changed too.
She understood Jake when Grace had died in his arms. Her father had died in her arms too.
She did not want to understand Sky People. She did not want to feel sympathy for the people who stole everything from her. She did not wish to feel sympathy from those that stole her sister away and as if they weren’t greedy enough, took her father and her home from her as well.
And she was tired because of it. She just wanted peace. She just wanted to raise her children and be with her mates. She did not want to worry about those demons coming back and destroying her home, and her life again.
Neytiri was just so tired of it. Being stuck in this never-ending cycle of grief.
Was this the path the Great Mother wanted for her?
Was she just never meant to be happy?
“Hey.”
Neytiri perked up and turned to find Jake watching her curiously. She had forgotten where she was for a moment. In the forest with her bow and Jake. Ready to hunt.
“You here with me?” Jake asked, smiling at her.
And she returned the smile, her chest warm. “Yes.” She then gently smacked his arm, “Now focus. We need dinner for tonight.”
She was always standing at the edge of the cliff, the water staring back at her below. There was always a weight that she held onto, with such desperation. She wouldn’t dream of letting it go. She wouldn’t dream of letting them drown.
So she always held tight. She would be the tether.
Tumblr media
The following week arrived. You managed to take a shower and finally leave your room.
Today you were just numb. And you would work with that.
Hell’s Gate was a vast place that you wanted to map out and fully explore. If this was the place you would be stationed/forced to stay at, then you needed to understand the layout.
You started at the administrative centers; passing the Operations Center and a few link rooms. Some people nodded to you in acknowledgment as you passed while others ignored your existence, being too focused on their work—which you didn’t mind.
Eventually, you made it to one of the bio labs. There, you found a few more people—which you assumed were scientists. You passed another link room—Norm mentioned these places a few times whenever he stopped by your room to try and pull you into a conversation.
You lingered there for a minute. Watching two people enter the link beds. By the time they were closed in, you moved on.
The Avatar Compound was of course the last place you visited. You ignored your mother’s old lab and sauntered toward the gardens.
There was a lot more browning than you saw before. Most of them were dead, others were on the verge of dying. It looked pathetic, really. How some of them stood limp. Nearly touching the ground.
You frowned at the sight, fingers twitching.
You moved on.
Tumblr media
“Do you guys have a library here?”
Norm looked up at you, eyes alight with surprise at the sight of you, “Um, I don’t know anything about a library. What are you looking for exactly?”
You frowned, tucking the tablet from your room under your arm. “You worked with the former head of the Avatar Program, Grace Augustine. She has a book on the plant life here. I was wondering if this place has a copy lying around somewhere.”
“Light reading?” He asked with a raised brow.
You shrugged, “Something like that, yes.”
Norm nodded with a smile, “Well, like I said we don’t really have a library—but I actually have a copy of her book. I'm a big fan myself. I could lend it to you if you want.”
“I’d like that. Might be a while before I give it back though.”
He grinned, “I don’t mind. Knock yourself out! I’m just glad to see you walking around.” Norm sat back down at his computer with a sigh. “They’ve been sending warriors to check up on things but when I’ve been giving them the same updates, they kind of stopped coming around. So, it might be good for you—”
“Thank you, Spellman.” You nodded, as you started for the doorway leading out of the lab. “Send the book to my room whenever you can.”
Right now you were just floating out of your body. It was easier this way, you realized. And you would work with it.
Tumblr media
The book was in your room the next day. You took it while holding your mother’s songcord and read through it. Front and back. You grabbed your tablet as you read the book again, taking notes this time around.
You organized the plants, you separated them into categories. Foods humans and Na’vi could eat. Plants that were meant for herbs and medicine. And plants to avoid altogether.
You read it for a third time to make sure you didn’t miss anything.
Finally, you went to the gardens. After examining which plants needed replacement—which was mostly the fruits and vegetables, food sources that they couldn’t afford to run out of. Hell’s Gate was living off rations, which were bound to be gone at some point. A harvesting garden would be useful.
So, you adjusted your exopack and got work.
You didn’t do too much the first day, just tore down the dead plants—which was practically the whole land of the garden. The plants themselves were big so it took most of the day. Those that could be saved were mushrooms. They hadn’t blossomed yet so you took care of it. Adding water, and new soil—you did this until the night came.
The next few days were planned accordingly. You found yourself busy foraging for fruits and vegetables in the forest surrounding the compound. Of course, you didn’t wander too far from the compound, making sure to keep track of every path you took.
It was quite big and overwhelming, the forest. Even some of the fruits you carried back were bigger than your own body. But you managed well enough to plant down some seeds. Which also took quite some time.
It wasn’t until you saw avatars running around your mind suddenly clicked.
“Spellman.” You ran up to him one day, catching him going into the bio lab. He turned as you stopped in front of him, “I have an avatar, right? How long does it take to get used to being in the body?”
Norm, who had been waiting for you to ask this very question, grinned. “Right this way, Doc.”
Tumblr media
Frankly, it took a couple of days until you were finally used to being in your avatar body. Which unfortunately slowed your progress with the garden, but you managed in between breaks from training with the avatar body to continue planting more seeds as best as you could.
But once you could manage to stand on your own two feet in this new body, your process with your garden got a whole lot easier.
One of them was the fact that you didn’t have to wear those stupid masks anymore. Not having to worry about losing oxygen after a couple of hours was a huge plus.
Admittedly, it was strange at first. Suddenly being taller than humans, having a tail that sometimes moved without your knowledge, and then there was keeping both bodies healthy. That would be a challenge but you could deal.
After getting used to your new body, you continued tending to the garden which was making great progress. Except for the mushrooms. They just wouldn’t grow.
“Mmm.” You mumbled to yourself while tucking your tablet—a new one large enough for you to hold—under your arm. Maybe the roots were too old and weak. Maybe it was best to cut it down and start over again.
You went into the bush. The forest looked a lot different with brand-new maskless eyes. A lot more vibrant. A lot more real.
Eventually, you found the same mushrooms in the forest that were in your garden. Kneeling down, you grabbed your tablet. Studying and comparing it carefully.
Of course, the roots were a lot more greener than yours. Maybe it needed fresh soil. Or more moisture. These mushrooms were obviously different from the Earth ones, so you were a little out of your depth here. The book didn’t talk too much about mushrooms, unfortunately.
There was a quick shift in the corner of your vision—something you definitely wouldn’t have caught in your human body. Another plus with the avatar, better senses.
You looked up, your eyes locked with another pair of yellow ones.
A familiar face you hadn’t seen in a while.
Neytiri crouched down on the branch she was on, staring at you intensely.
You stood, “Come to spy on me yourself this time?”
A flicker of recognition flashed through her eyes, her head tilting as she analyzed your features. “You are the demon but different now. You are dreamwalker.”
You gave a single nod and took a moment to observe her carefully. Just as she was doing with you.
After a while, you turned away from her to focus back on the mushrooms. You knelt back down to get a better look at the roots again. The grass shifted after as a soft thud sounded next to you. A second later Neytiri’s feet appeared next to you.
“Why are you doing that?” She questioned.
“I am growing some mushrooms.” You replied simply. “Mine aren’t growing like they’re supposed to…” You then looked up at her curiously. Neytiri stared back at you with a small frown. A strange idea struck you then. “Can you look at the mushrooms back in my garden?”
Neytiri huffed, her tail swishing behind her.
You shrugged, “Or not. I’ll figure it out.”
After you secured the tablet under your arm again—you really should get yourself a bag at some point—you started back to the compound.
Surprisingly, Neytiri followed.
There weren’t a lot of avatars out today so it was practically just you and Neytiri. You found your mushrooms and knelt back down to the ground.
Behind you, you felt Neytiri looking at you. “You did all of this?”
You made a sound of confirmation without looking up from the mushrooms, “We can’t survive off just rations. Sure there’s a lot—meant for a lot—but it won’t last. Better start now than later.”
“And you intend to do it our way?”
“For the most part, yes.”
After a while, Neytiri knelt down next to you as you brought out your tablet to take notes. She tapped your arm, drawing your attention to her.
She then lowered your tablet and pointed to the semi-growing mushroom. “The sun is blocked. You need to move it. Or it won’t grow.”
You frowned. Huh, that was simple enough.
With a nod, you placed the tablet aside and dug up the roots. Neytiri watched as you moved the soil into a more sunny spot. And for the next few minutes, you planted it down with your hands. Once it was done, you looked to Neytiri expectantly.
She was studying your other plants. There wasn’t any annoyance on her face, which was a plus at least. You watched quietly as she poked and prodded at the plants until her eyes met yours. Her ears perked, her face became tight, and her tail curled behind her. She now looked both annoyed and—flustered?
You gestured to the mushrooms, “Anything else?”
Neytiri inched toward you and examined your work, “Yes. That is good.”
You nodded and stood, “Thank you for your help.” She blinked and nodded reluctantly. Then she departed.
It was progress. Your new garden. One day at a time.
Tumblr media
Neytiri did not want to understand Sky People.
You were sad, she concluded.
While human, you had appeared dangerous, vicious-looking. Defenseless. But then again, she thought that of all humans.
In your false body, you were easier to read. Your words, as you spoke, still never matched your face. Low ears and tail. Dull, almost unfocused eyes.
Unwillingly, she somehow began to understand you after the meeting with her mother. Humans were hard to read, so when she listened to your words, she also watched your face. And it was almost solemn and expressionless. Neytiri wondered if you were like Jake, locking your emotions up, not allowing yourself to feel.
Neytiri did not understand why they did that. Sky People and the way they dealt with their emotions were strange.
You were no different.
Tumblr media
You were at the bottom of the ocean. Whatever hand tried to grasp for your body, it always slipped. And you just sunk deeper and deeper.
Until you were a forgotten shadow.
Tumblr media
so, yes, this one is a little longer than the last two chapters, lol. i got a little carried away but i really wanted to take a look into the minds of both, jake, neytiri, and tsu'tey, just to gain a little sense as to why they act the way they do towards reader.
they are all very much soulmates. grieving in their own ways. i can't wait to write more of them.
let me know your thoughts! i love talking to y'all and reading your very kind comments!

Bestie we need the continuation of THIS like I'm obsessed
ahhhh bae this one is started and sitting in my drafts 🫦 i’ll give you a preview hehe
“you.” he growls, the noise flooding heat straight to your core. “my beautiful mate, are a tease.”
you smirk, using your arms to lift yourself up onto the table. you begin to spread your legs, as your husband watches with lust-filled eyes.
“i am?” you question, batting your eyelashes innocently at him.
he chuckles darkly, loosening his loincloth as he makes his way to you. he kneels before you, caressing your knees gently. taking his sweet time, he slowly begins to plant wet kisses along the insides of your thighs, alternating each side as he spreads your legs further. as he makes his way inwards, he finally answers your question.
“you are.” he mumbles against the inside of your thigh. while he shifts his hands up to your hips, he hooks his fingers around the waistband of your loincloth. giving it a harsh tug down your thighs, he drags it down your legs, tossing it behind him. he grips your thighs then, yanking your body forward as he inhales deeply, savoring your sweet scent.

“fück your brains out” — jake sully (⨳)
you’re pressed down to the rocky ground, skin itchy due to the strong and rough grass pressing to your skin.
but that wasn’t the case, the real itch was between your legs where jake has his balls plunged deep into your tight cunt
“jake,” you mewled, knees hurting from being all in fours for half an hour now. jake was squatting behind you while roughly thrusting and knocking your breath out.
“i fuckin’ told you to wait for me in the village, didn’t i?” he was breathing hard, one hand holding onto your tail and pulling your hips to fuck him back. your jaw hurts from being wide open and you scream when jake coils your tail into his palm and pulls you.
“answer me you filthy minx.” he hissed and you only helplessly cried out.
“not gonna talk?” he chuckles, pretty much annoyed with your bratty self. “alright, imma fuck your brains out so you’ll start to talk.”
you feel jakes hand that was holding onto your tail come to your waist instead, then you’re suddenly pulled up from the ground and fully knelt while he grips under your breast tight.
“you almost died not listening to me.” he says, pressing your petite body to his gigantic self. jake huffs in pain just thinking how the sky people almost shot you. “i was trying to hel– ngh!” your words are cut off
pain and pleasure strikes in you when jake fully bottoms out before pulling almost fully out which his tip only ghosts your opening. “help? that’s how you fucking help, princess?”
it’s not surprising how jake is scolding you in the middle of sex, after all it’s jake sully you’re talking about.
you’re too silent with forming words, only hiccups and cries leaving your dry lips. but you’re very thankful when jakes other hand turns your face to his to his and lean to give your dry lips a bold lick
he doesn’t miss how your inside tightens around his fat cock and grits his teeth.
“do it again.” he demands before giving your lips another bold lick, “fuck” he growls when your pussy swallows him and grips onto him tight.
“you haven’t answered me, pretty girl.” his dark voice causes your heart to tremble in fear and excitement.
“you to-told me! you told me!” you gasp when he palms your breast, tweaking your nipple with the ough pads of his long fingers. “and what did you do? disobeyed me.” his hand wrapped under your breast pulls you close to him more
your back pressed to his sweaty chest.
“what happens when you disobey me, baby?” your eyes roll into your head when he bites to your flattened ear, a long moan leaving your lips. jake groans when you don’t answer him.
“are you fuckin’ lagging on me now?”
he is suddenly pulling out from your tight soaked cunt and pushing you down to the ground.
“i get punished, when i don’t obey i get punished.” you quickly say, afraid you’ve pissed your mate but it was already so late. jake sully was beyond pissed.
he doesn’t even give you a second to get comfortable as he drapps himself on you, trapping your body when you’re still laid on your side. “open your legs, put your left on my shoulder.” his cold voice orders.
on eywa, he’s gonna fuck your brains out.
you silently obey, slowly bringing your left leg to his shoulder. “you’re so slow.” he was now tugging your leg to his shoulder while he straddled the other one. there is no way out now.
“JAKE!” you scream as he parts your swollen and sensitive fold with his long fingers before pushing his girth-y tip to your tight opening. “jesus, you’re so tight.”
you try to buckle your knees when the pleasure hits you but jake grips onto your ankle and yanks it back to his shoulder. you’re literally spread for him and he happily looks down where you two are connected and how your cunt openly sucks him in
“you know why you’re getting punished?” you nod before telling him your fault.
“good girl, shit, tighten on me again.” he loves how your pussy clamps on his cock, your gummy walls holding him tight like it’s his original home and cave.
“you’re gonna cum?” he kinda got why you’re not vocal anymore right now. jake literally made you cum three times in a row and he knows how your throat is sore from screaming.
“fuuuuck” he curses when you keep squeezing him.
“you’re gonna cum for me? gonna cum for your jake?” you’re desperately nodding, too tired to even mutter a word. the way your body twitches makes jakes heart swell. “i’ve got you princess.” he leans down, bending your left leg which helps him sink deeper.
the new position helps him stimulate himself as well, one of his strong arm hold you close while the other brushes the strand of your hair away from your sweaty forehead. “my girl, forever my girl.” he was now comforting you
“jake,” you call for him, your hands reaching out for him. “i’m here, right here.” he smiles down at you, “it hurts, i can’t.” you’re shaking your head as tears freely sprang out of your eyes.
“yes you can,” he frowns before sneaking his hand between your bodies and meeting your warm clit with his rough pad of his thumb. “yes you can give me the last one baby, i know you can.”
you whine, pushing him away and crying. “i’m sorry, i won’t do it again.” you apologize for your actions that almost cost you your own life. “i’ll forgive you once you cum for me, yeah?
you gulp down your sob down and winch when your throat hurts.
“you’re so good fr’me, my girl.” his sweet praises while his cock penetrating you and his thumb flicking your clit was your last push to burst and milk your nectar all over him.
“that’s it, give it to me all” your eyes are screwed shut, overstimulation winning and having you whine for a billionth time. “almost there yeah? i’m gon— fuck!” jakes pupil dilated from the sudden sting of pleasure.
he wasn’t expecting it this soon, yes he felt his balls tight, heavy and painfully stimulated. but never once he thought he would be cumming right unexpectedly. “oh fuck, oh fuck.” he laughs when finally back to his sense
his vision gets clear and he looks down at your state, you’re almost gone. your eyelids barely open while your chest heaves up and down fast. “princess, you okay there?” he really did fuck your brains out.
jake panics for a second when you don’t answer him and lean close to you, hand gripping your jaw and turning you to face him. “baby, answer me.” surely jake knew his heart was gonna stop if you hadn’t smiled at him and blinked.
he was almost convinced he fucked your soul out and not your mind.
“what the fuck, you scared me.” your soft giggles make him laugh and he places your leg down to the ground. “don’t ever do that again, i thought i got your soul dicked down.” you burst out laughing with your energy left.
“jake!” you keep laughing when his words keep repeating in your mind. “c’mon let’s get you home and all cleaned, mhm?” he helps you up, both of you smiling foolishly.
“and please don’t ever go against what i tell you, i almost lost you.” you hum, obviously unconvinced.
ok so i love how this turned out, low key becoming a fan of my own works lmfao— thank you for reading! like + reblogs are super appreciated i love each and every one of you sm!

contains: slight daddy kink, blowjob (m receiving), reader's throat being fucked so hard they cry, rough mdom jake, slapping, tell me if i missed anything
˙ ❥˙
"Down. Now."
"Y-Yes, sir." You hurriedly bring yourself to your knees, sitting up straight as you gaze up at Jake, waiting for his next set of directions. "Hold your arms out, girl." He demands with a low tone, reaching for the rope buckled into his loincloth. You held them out with your palms up. Jake snatches your wrists as he expertly tied the rope around, roughly fastening them. "This hurts", you simply mumble, attempting to somewhat free yourself. He scoffs. Almost as if he's offended. Jake slaps you once, grabbing you by your chin and forcing your eyes up. "Don't talk back. Got it?" You nod against his callused hand as tears threaten to run down your jowl.
"Got it?" Jake repeats, his voice and mannerisms only becoming more aggressive. "Yes sir!" You wince. "Good girl." He steps down with a praise. "Look at that pretty face.." He removes his hand from your face, now petting you and pushing your hair back. "Can't wait to fuckin' ruin it, paint it with my cum." You whine in desperation, thighs rubbing together.
"Take my cock out baby girl." You hum in response, untying his loincloth and pulling it down, his throbbing cock springing out to smack your face. "Fuck, girl. See how worked up you get me?" You wrap your small hands around his shaft, massaging his muscles. You kitten lick his tip, precum dripping onto your tongue.
Jake groans at that, softly guiding your head onto his cock. "Mhm. Yeah baby, just like daddy taught you. Fuck.." He moans lowly, causing a heat to form between your legs, your cunt squeezing around nothing. You try to maneuver your tied wrists to your pussy, hoping for any type of release. Your head bobs midway on his cock as you rub your mound, quietly moaning. Jake takes both sides of your head now, forcing it down onto him. It felt like your throat was being pierced with the dull end of a blade. You cough and gag on his member, buckets of saliva running down your chin and dripping onto your tits.
"Taking me so well, huh?" He chuckles, hips still thrusting into you. To match his pace, you finger your clit faster. Subtly grinding on your hand with a whimper. Jake feels your mouth vibrating on him, and he rips your head from his cock as you pant. "You dirty girl. Did I give you permission to touch yourself?" He raises his voice, visibly angry with you. "No sir.. I'm sorry. I just wanna feel good.. please." You whine in response. He kneels down to your level, tilting his head and looking at you in disgust.
"How many times do I have to tell you?" He smacks your face, leaving a bright red handprint. "I don't give a fuck what you want. You're mine. My toy. I use you for my pleasure. Nothing else. You got that?" He grits his teeth before standing, his girthy cock hovering over you. You nod, sniffiling as you peer up at him. Jake grunts, rubbing his mushroomy tip on your plump lips before easing it inside. "That's it, slut." He gritted. Before you got a second to adapt to the normalcy, he shoves your head down onto him, a loud and long series of moans escaping his mouth. You whimper and cry everytime he slams himself against your uvula, the tears from your eyes making contact with his groin.
"Please!-" You sob between thrusts, breathing in at every chance you can get as you try your best to pull away from his strong grip. "Can't— breathe! " Jake's cock only tightens at your struggling, grinding his hips into you. "Yeah, that's how I fucking like it." Another strained moan from him. "Let me abuse that pretty mouth of yours. Oh fuck baby girl.. I'm gonna cum down this pretty throat, ngh!" His hips begin to stutter, throwing his head back in bliss as his warm cum spurts into your mouth, coating the inside of your cheeks.
He hums before pulling away, shutting your jaw before any cum can seep out. Jake gets to your level again, his wide yellow eyes stuck on yours tear filled ones. "Uh uh, don't swallow yet baby girl. Open wide and let daddy see." He pats your cheek. You obey him, carefully opening your mouth as you peer up at him. "That's my good girl." He grins, kissing your forehead and closing your mouth for you. "Now swallow. This needy pussy is next."

Jake sully x reader [series, part two]
PART ONE
Tumblr media
The sand burns beneath his feet, his skin hot and irritated from Eywa's unforgiving sun. Jake pats his ikran firmly on the chest, breathing steadily. He watches as people crawl out of their pods, emerge from the blue water and judging by their expressions, they aren't happy. He looks back to his family, gaze lingering on his oldest seeming weary and his fingers grazing the bow strapped to his ikran.
"Neteyam," he whispers sharply, and he looks to him, cowering away from the bow with a small huff through his nose. "On me," he commands his children, unable to hide the nervousness peering out of his tone. "Tuk," he mumbled, stretching his hand out for her to take. She runs to grab it, before settling her hands on the back of his leg.
Jake readjusts his slipping loincloth to sit comfortable on his hips before stretching his arms out wide, making sure to walk slowly and steadily. A sign of peace, a sign he could only hope they accept. He isn't able to stop himself from staring at the spears that some of the people hold, noticing the sharp, hard points of them. He does his best to keep his face neutral.
Two young boys and a girl crack through the thick group, slightly circling his sons.
"What is that? That supposed to be a tail?" One cracks, snickering and the other laughs with him. "How are they supposed to swim—"
The girl suddenly hits the cocky boy's arm, voice stern, "Do not, Roxto and Ao'nung."
Suddenly, the hushed talk of the people dies down a few notches.
Jake tilts his head to see a figure pushing— no, melting through the crowd, because they seem to be immediately parting for the said figure. He hears the light sound of shells rattling, smooth feet treading on the sand and before he can even catch his breath, there you are.
Weirdly enough, his mind jumbles. An unusual, unfamiliar bolt jitters through his body, settling at the pit of his stomach. Like a jolt of electricity.
You're of status. That much he can tell. Your black hair lavers down your back and over your shoulders, with a bundle of pearls and crystals twisted through it. You wear a lengthy sarong that lies loose around your hips, the right side cutting only at your calf. There are three crystalloid waist-beads that wrap around your torso, and your threaded top only covers what's necessary, and that too, is sprinkled with colorful spangles. Anklets, armlets, bracelets. A necklace that's crested with precious seashells and looped with glossy pearls. Your body is wet, skin dotted with water drops as if you had just gotten out of the ocean.
You scoop your hair out from your neck, unsticking it from your skin and moving it all to the back of you. He doesn't think he's ever seen a movement be done so gracefully.
A being that's ethereal, nothing he has seen before and it's something about you that reels him in like a fish caught on a hook. Your gaze finally locks with his, eyes ripe with curiosity and poise. His stomach does a flip, suddenly feeling the heat burning from beneath your expression. Your face is unreadable, your chin held high as you examine him and his family, and the sudden big whooshes from above him is the only thing that pulls his attention away from you.
Three big sea animals with long wings ride in, splashing into the water and one rider soaring on them is recognised easily. Tonowari, chief of the Metkayina, the reef people. He emerges from the water with a sense of power flowing behind him, and he strides with strength as his spear digs deep into sand each time he takes a step. They exchange greetings, and Jake's feels a sense of relief at the calm connection, as he knew Tonowari was a fierce leader.
But it wasn't him Jake was worried about.
Ronal emerges through the crowd, hips swaying gently and her face is unreadable, just like yours. She holds a strong aura, and her skirt rattles powerfully against her teal skin as she takes long, wary appearing steps.
"I see you, Ronal, Tsahik of the Metkayinas," Jake rushes, connecting his fingers to his head and releasing them swiftly. She says nothing in return, only flicking her eyes over his kids scattered behind him.
"Jakesully," Tonowari begins. "Why do you come to us?"
Jake licks swiftly at his lips, "We seek Uturu."
"Uturu?" Ronal snaps, like he has just insulted her with three striking words.
"Yes— sanctuary for my family," Jake reaches for Tuk standing meekly behind him, grasping her hand and bringing her gently forward.
"We are reef people," Tonowari lets a soft, unbelievable laugh escape from his chest. Ronal begins to circle Jake and his family. "You are forest people. Your skills will mean nothing here."
"So we will learn your ways, yeah?" Jake pleads.
Ronal grabs at Jake's tail, earning a little jut of his body from the unexpected action. She strokes her hand down Tuk's arm. "Their arms are thin," she states loud. It takes him by the unexpected when he feels another set of hands settling on his tail, and he whips his head around to see you, fingers grazing the length.
"Their tails are thin as well," you say, earning a small nod from Ronal. You drop his tail, now stepping over to his little girl behind him. "Mother," you murmur, jutting your head towards Tuk and she follows the movement, humming lowly. Mother. You were the clan leader's daughter, the next tsahik in line. He now understood the mutual energy you both shared.
"The thinness of your body parts will make you weak," Ronal then pulls on Kiri's tail, earning a whiney ow from her but the tsahik completely ignores it. "You will be slow in the water."
Ronal examines her arms, then moves to settle on her hands, and her eyes widen. She swiftly grabs at her them, swinging them up for everyone to see. "These children... are not even true na'vi." She strides over to the next kid, and of course, she lands on Lo'ak. She pushes his hand up too, revealing the same five blue fingers, "They have demon blood!"
The thick crowd swirls with gasps and terror-filled whispers, even a round of hisses chucked out. But Jake is quick to wave his hand out in front of Ronal's face, a sudden desperation, a sudden need to protect his family rushing in. "Look. Look!" Ronal's gaze snaps to him, eyeing the way his fingers wiggle around. "Look, I was born of the Sky People and now I am Na'vi. Alright? You can adapt." He turns to his worried family, "We can adapt."
"My father was Toruk Makto," Kiri rushes to tell, her eyes hung with slight desperation in them. Jake bites at his tongue, pulling all his inner strength together to not clamp his hand over his teenage daughter's mouth. "He lead the clans to victory against the Sky People. You know the tale."
"This is what you call victory, child? Hiding amongst strangers?" She towers over the teenage girl, her gaze darkening with disgust. She whips her head to Jake, "It seems Eywa has turned her back on you, chosen one."
An immediate, breathy hiss comes from Kiri, which is then met with a hiss from Ronal right back, dangerously leaning over her and that's when Jake places a hand on Kiri's shoulder and gently rocks her back a few steps. "I apologise for my daughter. She has travelled for a long time and is exhausted." He shoots her a look while explaining, tightening his grip on her shoulder slightly.
"Dad..." Kiri is quick to complain, but stops her next coming words when his expression hardens.
"Toruk Makto is a great leader, all Na'vi people know his story." Tonowari suddenly speaks out, extending his arm outwards toward Jake. "But we Metkayina are not at war," Tonowari turns to him. "We cannot let you bring your war here."
As Tuk numbly reaches for Jake, he immediately scoops her up by her torso, laying her head against his shoulder as her body presses sleepily at his chest. "I'm done with war," he plains, tone hugging a tiredness. "I just want to keep my family safe. That's all." He wraps an arm around his daughter's back, feeling the burning warmth of her sun-exposed skin. "Please," he adds.
A long look is exchanged between Ronal and Tonowari, and as restless anticipation boils at Jake's stomach, Tonowari turns around to him once again.
"Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us." Immediate relief floods through Jake's system, and he gives a reassuring pat to Tuk's small back. "Treat them as our brothers and sisters. But they do not know the sea, and they will be like babies taking their first breath. We shall teach them our ways so they do not suffer the shame of being useless."
Jake huffs out a breathless laugh, mixed with soft adrenaline and consolation. "Well— what do we say? Thank you."
A round of thank yous are heard, and a short, quiet one is added on by his attitude-filled daughter, Kiri.
"My eldest daughter will teach you the ways of Metkayina, Jakesully. As for my other daughter and son, they will show your children what to do," Tonowari speaks and a choked scoff is heard from beside him. Your jaw tightens, eyes setting wide as you whip your body towards your parents.
"Father," you dash. "You cannot exp—"
"It is decided." He booms, not sparing you even a look and your lips break into a snarl, a tiny and annoyed hiss breaking past your them. You seem to collect yourself just a moment after, breathing in through your chest before you take a large step forward.
"Come, I will show you our village," you invite, letting a small smile spread on your face and placing your hands neatly behind you. "Tsireya," you call, and she quickly follows after.
"Come!" the younger girl behind you cheers, and Jake swears he hears a soft laugh from in front of her.
He's quick to join you.
The ocean waves crash against your feet, splashing at your ankles as you toss food into a young ilu's mouth. You hold a basket at your hip, filled with fresh fish that is ready to be eaten.
Tsireya stays restless beside you, rising up and down on her toes as she helps you. "What do you think of Toruk Makto and his family?" you ask, dipping your hand into the basket again and wrapping your fingers around the thick of a fish's wet body.
Beforehand, you had examined Jakesully and his family from afar as they settled into their new home. You were relieved that they had seemed to like their marui pod, and hoped that they found peace within it. While they attempted to grow comfortable in their new home, you couldn't help but awe at their appearances. Their skin colour was a shade so blue, their eyes a vibrant, startling yellow.
Jakesully is intriguing looking, you figured, and you found yourself letting your eyes linger on him when they had firstly arrived. Even just before, you had to forcibly pull your eyes away from him and the action of the readjustment of his leather clip around his torso.
"I find them interesting. They're so.. blue." Tsireya replies. You throw the fish into another ilu's mouth, a happy chirp flowing from the eager animal as you do so. "You were upset about teaching Toruk Makto the ways of our people. Why?"
You blink, collecting another fish in your hands, "I was not upset about that. I was upset about the fact that father throws tasks at me repeatedly, and just expects me to handle it with the snap of my fingers. I'm aware that this was a completely unexpected event, but... it can get infuriating. Mother is the same."
"I understand," she responds, tucking a bunch of hair behind her ear.
You huff out a breath of air. "Fine, I must admit that I was a bit tempered in the moment. Toruk Makto does not seem like the ideal man to teach."
Tsireya laughs, "I understand that, too."
"Mm," you make a small, giddy humming noise. "Lo'ak seems ideal though, yes?"
"What?" she frowns, and your smirk widens.
"I saw you making big eyes at him," you tease, kicking her ankle softly with your foot.
"I wasn't."
"Oh, I think you were, hi'i ilva." You kick her again, finding amusement in her growing fluster. She groans out your name, pushing you in the shoulder and you gasp out a dramatised grunt, "Ooow!"
"You said you were going to stop calling me that," she embarrassingly wipes at her cheek, stretching out the skin of her eye.
"But you used to love it when you were little," you pout. Her frown deepens playfully. You notice the way her eyes travel over you, and a cheeky grin of her own makes its way to her smooth lips.
"Don't look now, but Toruk Makto is staring at you." Tsireya whispers giddily, ducking her head a little.
Your back straightens instinctively and you immediately turn your head around to look, doing exactly what she said not to do. Tsireya groans because of it.
She's right. Jakesully is looking at you from afar, and when he sees that you've caught him, he pushes out a dopey smile, flicking his still hand up in greeting. You nod your head back, letting a tiny smile split your lips. He begins walking over to you, and that's when you sigh quietly.
"Go help out Toruk Makto's children," you say, handing your basket to a villager ready to finish the task. "Use nice words, and make them feel welcome. And keep Ao'nung in line. Anything goes south, call out for me."
"Alright," she giggles, and you can tell she's excitement. She grazes your arm in goodbye and trots off, filling you with a small warmth at her obvious eagerness.
You wish you too possessed eagerness for teaching Jakesully, but Eywa didn't seem to be on your side today.
When he's near enough, you gently ball your fingers in a small fist on your forehead and then release them, a soft bow of your head. "Oel ngati kameie."
"Oel ngati kameie," he returns, repeating the gesture. There's a sense of awkward tension between the two of you. It's small, but it's there.
"Come," you command, sliding your hands behind your back and he listens, trailing behind you like a lost baby ilu following its mother. He attempts to match your long strides against the sand, even flicking up some and bits of it sprigging you in the legs. "My sister is eager to teach your children. She makes a great teacher. They will learn quick."
"That's good," Jakesully grumbles. You can feel his eyes stare into your face.
"I hope I make a great teacher to you, Toruk Makto." You add, flicking your fingers in your conjoined hands.
"Jake," he says, now grabbing your attention and you spin your head towards his. "Call me Jake."
"Jake?" you ask, the foreign word springing off your tongue loosely.
"Jake." He confirms, a smirk twitching on his lips. "And what shall I call you?" he prods, letting his eyes flick a mischievous glint.
"Karyu," you reply. Teacher. You aren't looking at him, but you hope he doesn't see the ghost of a grin playing on your mouth. You do catch the little flick of his tail though from the corner of your eye.
You begin to sink into your feet into the water, ushering him with the flick of your wrist and as you dive deeper into the sea, you glide a hand along an incoming ilu. "You will make bond with many ilu. They are kind, soft creatures. Treat them as your brother, your close one," you explain, rubbing a hand over the ilu's head before you.
Jake's next to you, placing a hand on its back. You take his hand, guiding it to the base of her long neck and angling his fingers to rest at the side of it. "Feel the strong huff of her breath, the scales of her skin."
He does as told, smoothing his palm flat onto her neck. Then his ears perk up, and his eyes run over to a spot behind you. "What's that?"
You attempt to look where his gaze was set, and you sigh once seeing where it was. "That is a skimwing. Only the most skilled Metkayina hunters may mount them."
You can see the way his eyes dart open, looking to you from the side and before he can even open his mouth, you're scolding him, "It isn't wise to start with a skimwing. An ilu would be much better."
He grins for the hundredth time today, but this time you're able to catch a glimpse of his pearly teeth. "Toruk Makto can handle a skimwing, ma karyu."
The skimwing is puffing out ragged and intimidating breaths as Jake flops belly first onto his back, swinging his leg over recklessly as a few men around them struggle to keep the beast down. Its back end thrashes, splashing water wildly and hitting you a couple of times. You're at the eager man's side, keeping your own and holding down the skimwing with an arm on its side.
"You hold here, yes— tight grip, Jake. Do not let go," you declare with your voice raised, trying to boom over the loud smack of the thrashing animal beside you. Jake grabs the leather band out from his mouth, using it to wrap it around his hand and the thick handle. "Remember, when you dive back into the water, keep a good position. Strong hold."
"Mhm," Jake mumbles, half-paying attention as he yanks the band a few times, stabilising the hold. Then he looks at you, and with a quirked lean of his head, he states, "I got this."
You breathe in deeply through your chest, taking a step back as you eye him steadily.
"Heeyah!" he shouts, the skimwing pouncing into action. It swivels and bolts through the water, and you watch as it jolts up and out of it, orange bold wings flapping out powerfully. You're impressed by it, with the way Jake hops up on one foot and rides the skimwing not flawlessly, but bravely. You even begin to tilt your head to get a clearer view of the scene. But then you notice the mishap, the leak of his performance when diving back down.
The skimwing escapes him, and he's left on his side before he's jumping up from the water, locks of black hair swishing back and forth. He swings up his arm, the hand that was once twisted into the skimwing's handle, now waved up in the air as he shakes it with anger. You can hear him groaning out in frustration, and a short laugh snorkels out from your mouth. You call for an ilu, hopping on it with a chortle and gliding to his aid.
"Toruk Makto cannot handle a skimwing as it seems," you tease, earning a chopped, slightly sheepish laugh from Jake. Your grin weakens when you see his arm, now reddened with whipped marks that seemed less severe from two hundred metres away. "Would you like something to aid that?"
"This? This ain't nothing." He brushes off, shoving the arm into the water.
"Hm," you murmur, raising a brow gently. "I will aid it for you if it does not fade within a few days."
"It's fine. Really—" he sees the expression on your face, and it's an expression that tells him that you will not give up on persistence. He sighs lowly. "'right, sweetheart."
Sweet heart? A heart that is sweet, you gathered. You've heard of many stories that your mother has told of the humans, and their foul and odd language. But this, you had not heard of. It should not have made the inner of your belly swirl with a sudden warmth like it had.
You raise your head, "Let's return to the ilu."
It's at the dark of night, and Jake is sat down with his family. Just like the Omoticaya, the Metkayina gather around for supper, a large bonfire in the middle of the peaceful people. The fish he chews is warm and smokey with flavor, his body tired from the day's work. Tuk is leant against his shoulder, a yawn leaving her. Neteyam sharpens an arrow of his bow, and Kiri is playing with one of her beads mangled in her hair as Lo'ak recklessly gobbles down his dinner.
He feels a sudden glow spread through his chest, because what he feels is the similar sensation of peace. Peace, at last. It partially convinces him to believe that what he did was right. It was right to rip himself and his family away from their home, to protect them from Quaritch and the vicious forces of the RDA.
He looks out in front of him and past the bright fire, his line of eyesight landing on both you and your family. You're scratching your knee as the bonfire toasts around you, its orange light illuminating on your face and giving the shade of your big eyes a warm glow. Ronal then looks to you, and the trace of her eyebrows pinch together. "Eat, child. You have barely touched any food," she snaps.
Obviously embarrassed, you heave out a long, exhausted sigh. "Mama," you whine out, a flush erupting on your cheeks and Jake has to suppress a chuckle from breaking out his chest.
Ronal picks up your wooden bowl, jutting it toward you. "Eat," she sterns. You take it from her, side-eyeing her as you begin to stuff your mouth little by little. When Jake realises he's been looking too long, he snaps his head down, mentally slapping himself.
When the lights are out and the only noise that goes through Jake's ears is the cold wind, Jake sits. He sits in his marui, as his children sleep soundly. It wasn't out of the ordinary. It had been like this for a while, ever since Neytiri had left him and gone into the hands of Eywa. He'd just wait and wait, until his eyes finally became wary, and sometimes even that didn't happen. Sometimes he would not find the comfort of sleep at all.
But then he hears the bend of the floor nets near him, the same clatter of shells he heard earlier that day and his ears flicker against his hair. He slowly gets up, careful not to awake the sleeping youngsters beneath him as he creeps his way to the closed opening of the pod.
When he opens the cloth flap, there you are, head flicked up and looking up at him with those big eyes of yours. "Hello," you say, and it's the quietest he has heard you.
"Hey," he mutters, gaze turning to his kids for a split second.
You lean your head over too, "Are they asleep?"
"Yes." He states, looking back at you. It's quiet for a second, and he takes the moment to do a once-over of you. Your hair is completely out, wild and breezing gently through the ocean's breeze. A shawl is wrapped loosely around your form, beaded with tiny shells that dangle each time your arm shifts.
"Tsireya has told me they are kind. That they are eager to learn." You continue, adjusting your shawl to cover your shoulder a bit more.
"That's good," he says. He gets a jolt of déjà vu from the conversation you shared earlier today. His eyes drift to the way a large piece of your hair sways in front of your shoulder and pools at the centre of your chest.
You then say a word, and he doesn't quite catch it.
"Hm?" he whispers, eyes connecting with yours once again.
"That is my name," you repeat it again, the word rolling off your tongue like a run of honey. His eyes twitch wide, blinking as his mind registers it. A pretty name for a pretty girl. He doesn't say that, though.
Instead, "S' pretty."
"Thank you," you mumble, already turning to leave when he calls out your name. You tilt your head, gazing up at him through the thick of your eyelashes.
"Just wanted to say it," he admits, and fuck, shit, he's already regretting it. He expects you to do anything but crack a gentle smile, a muffled and soft laugh from you as you turn back and walk away. He watched your form disappear into the night, the clattering of seashells fading from his ears.
When he climbs back into the pod, for the first time in a while, he finds the comfort of sleep easily.

it was awfully difficult for you to hide your swooning for dad jake. the way he held tuk in his arms until she feel asleep and how he watched her lovingly as she wrapped her tiny hand around his big thumb. or how he made sure nobody went to sleep angry, and that any problem you ran into was resolved before the sun went down.
you, kiri and tuk were sitting around the fire, kiri braiding her hair and tuk in your arms looking up at you as you cooked the fish you had caught that same morning. the boys were gone, out hunting and jake had left a while later to fetch them. it didn't dawn on you that they were gone for a while until you heard jake's voice in the distance.
"you hungry, tuktuk?" she cooed before giggling playfully. her eyes squinted and you admired her adorable expression. you enjoyed moments like these were you took care of jake's children. your children. it made you feel whole. you wished you savored this moment as you heard your husband's voice from afar.
"jesus, you must be some real geniuses to not know how to follow direct orders," he grunted as he walked towards where you three were sitting. your town sons were following him, heads down as they knew what they did and what was coming. Jake stood in front of the fire, hands balled up into fists as he stared at his two sons that were now standing behind you.
you held tuk closer to your chest as to not scare her and looked between jake and your sons. kiri was alarmed too, staring at her two brothers.
"what happened?" your legs remained crosses in front of you as you awaited for an answer. jake laughed sarcastically and pointed at his two sons.
"these two knuckleheads thought I would be a good idea to sneak up on a Thanator. Practically got killed." jake said looking away from his guilty sons. at this, you stood up. still rocking tuk in your arms, you faced your sons, scanning to make sure they weren't wounded.
"are you hurt?" you went to both of them, caressing their cheeks as they gave you those saddened eyes, those eyes filled with guilt and fear.
"we're fine, mother" neteyam said, assuring you with a smile. jake walked towards them, pointing a finger at them while doing so.
"I told you to stay away from obvious threats, you are not trained for that yet. why do you not listen?" he hissed at them and their faces contorted at their father's screaming. lo'ak opened his mouth to speak but neteyam beat him to it.
"dad, we thought we had it. we wanted to-"
"wanted what, huh? wanted to get yourselves killed? jesus, one of these days you are gonna give me a heart attack. go to your rooms. go!" he yelled and gestured them to go to their hut. you sighed and nodded at them as they walked towards their rooms.
you turned around towards your husband who had his hand on his forehead, sighing heavily.
"I'll go help them" she stood up, fixing her newly braided hair.
"thank you, kiri" you told her and kissed her forehead before she followed her brothers. you stared at your husband who was huffing and puffing, fuming at his son's behavior.
"what am I gonna do? no matter what I say, no matter how I scold them, they always step in harm's way" he threw his arms up as a gesture of "giving up". a bad thing about being a father was the worry he constantly felt for his children. lo'ak and neteyam took from his father. they had his ambition and his curiosity. his warrior like mentality. it was certainly a challenge to keep them at bay, but it was much more difficult for jake to handle that, than it was for you.
you were feisty enough to keep him at his feet when you first met. always going about things in an aggressive manner. but you had been pregnant for so long that your body's condition calmed jake, made him less worried. but his sons sparked a worry in him that he had only felt with you. the worry of losing someone. thankfully, he had you to relieve him of his worries.
"Jake.." you walked towards him, placing your hand on his shoulder.
"they are ambitious, like you. hard-headed but they are warriors like you. you can't blame them for that. they have your nature." he looked at you with pain in his eyes. you knew he was scared. as proud as he was to admit it, you knew as soon as you looked into his eyes.
"thought we lost them," he laid his head on your shoulder, staring down at your daughter in your arms. you put your hand on the back of his head, caressing his hair.
"I know, hun. but they're fine, they're alive. we are all alive," he sighed, looking back up at you. he rested his forehead on yours, breathing in your air.
"just wanna keep em' safe, you know?"
"they're safe here jake, you can stop worrying now." he leaned in to kiss you and you let him, caressing his cheek. the baby in between you was making gargling sounds to express disgust. you both pulled away and looked at her, letting out a synchronized giggle.
"you don't worry about that now, go to sleep, honey" he planted kisses on her cheeks, prompting her to giggle loudly. he tickled her sides and you admired his change in attitude. you stared into his eyes that were filled with admiration. the young child under him, opened her eyes wide as she stared up at her father, grabbing at the air and reaching out for her father.
"oh, this is what you want? hm?" he reached at the back of his head, pulling the hair tie that held his hair in a ponytail. he let his dreads fall loose for his daughter to grab, as he knew she loved to play with them. you placed your hand on his cheek, pulling his face up to look at you.
"I love you," you whispered through a smile. his eyes softened and he intertwined his fingers with yours.
"I love you too, kid"
