Movie Review : Dil Bechara

Dil Bechara: An Ode to Sushant When I sat to write something about the movie the only visual that captivates my mind is Sushant Singh Rajput’s ever charming and electrifying smile. It is very difficult to write review for this movie as the movie leaves you overwhelmed but I will write this piece as a tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput. DIL BECHARA as we all know is based on John Green’s novel “The Fault in Our Stars”, and Mukesh Chabra gives an Indian Twist to the base story with the help of Shashank Khaitan and Supratim Sengupta who wrote the screenplay. But movie more or less sticks to the original material. But I can unabashedly admit that Dil Bechara is a Sushant Singh Rajput movie from the word go, and you cannot take off your eyes from the screen whenever he is in the frame. His character Manny a cancer patient goes through a wide range of emotions and Sushant gets each and every emotion bang on and you say what an actor, and you cannot believe he is no more. Some of the dialogues of the movie just resonates with you, due to what happened. I bet no other actor in younger generation could portray MANNY the way Sushant did. It would be criminal to ignore the rest of the cast starting with the debutant Sanjana Sanghi who plays the lead character Kizie Basu, a cancer patient, she comes as a breath of fresh air and her chemistry with Sushant is mind-blowing. IMDB is user based rating website, I have noticed that more than 20,000 people had given their vote even the film was not premiered on Disney+Hotstar. Earlier too, many movies got rejected or got highly appreciated just because of the perception about the movie. सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की आखिरी फिल्म दिल बेचारा ने रिलीज के साथ ही नया रिकॉर्ड बना लिया है। इस मूवी को आईएमडीबी (IMDB Rating) ने 10 में से पूरे 10 रेटिंग दी है। ये देखकर सुशांत के फैंस बेहद खुश हैं। बता दें कि दिल बेचारा 24 जुलाई को शाम 7.30 बजे डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म पर रिलीज हो चुकी है। 

इस मूवी को मुकेश छाबड़ा ने डायरेक्टर किया है। वहीं, संजना सांघी ने एक्टिंग की दुनिया में कदम रखा है। इसमें स्वास्तिका मुखर्जी, शाश्वत चटर्जी और साहिल वेद ने भी अहम भूमिका निभाई है।

सुशांत सिंह राजपूत आखिरी बार स्क्रीन पर दिखे तो सभी की आंखों में नमी दे गए। उन्हें देख फैंस भावुक होकर पोस्ट शेयर कर रहे हैं। उनकी मुस्कान, अदाकारी, जिंदादिली को देख कोई यकीन करने को तैयार नहीं है कि अब वो इस दुनिया में नहीं हैं। फैंस का कहना है कि इस फिल्म की कहानी सुशांत की जिंदगी से काफी मिलती जुलती है।

सुशांत ने 'किस देश में है मेरा दिल' से अपने एक्टिंग करियर की शुरुआत की थी, जो दिल बेचारा पर आकर थम गई। उन्होंने टीवी सीरियल पवित्र रिश्ता से लोकप्रियता हासिल की और 'काई पो छे', 'एमएस धोनी: द अनटोल्ड स्टोरी' और 'छिछोरे' जैसी मूवीज में शानदार अदाकारी से फैंस का दिल जीत लिया। 

गौरतलब है कि सुशांत ने 14 जून को बांद्रा स्थित अपने घर पर सुसाइड कर लिया था। उनके निधन ने सभी को झकझोर दिया था। इस मामले में मुंबई पुलिस कई लोगों से पूछताछ कर चुकी है।
