Leon couldn't help but stare at the fluffy paws that were once his human hands. He knew what had happened. The man done it to himself after all by grabbing that weird...ghost. And he knew in his heart this wasn't the end. Raccoon City taught Leon nothing can ever be that simple. Change won't stop until every bit of him still human was dead.

During his adventure to stop Saddler's twisted cult, Leon stumbles across a recent local legend known as 'Conejo De Los Perdidos' (Rabbit of the Lost). A mysterious entity that resulted in many getting lost trying to document the being. Even Ganados has been mislead by the apparition and often vanish without a trace.

Leon had the misfortune of encountering the Conejo Perdido (Lost Rabbit) when seeking shelter. He does the stupidest thing and touches the strange yellow rabbit. It immediately dissipates but not without leaving Leon on edge. 30 minutes later he vomits the Las Plagas parasite that had wrapped itself against his heart.

20 minutes later Leon suffers a sudden fever and passes out. In 10 minutes, he wakes up completely changed into a visage of Conejo De Los Perdidos. What was the apparition?

Something I call a 'DigiEcho', the remnants of a fallen Digimon. The one in question being Angoramon, a Rookie Level whose data is based on Angora Rabbits.

To sum it up, completely bad idea for a sentient creature to touch a DigiEcho as it'll result in the two merging. What comes out is called a Haunted, a Curse Type individual bearing the traits of the Digimon the echo took.

In Leon's case, he became an Angoramon Haunted. His body heavily altering to fit his newly obtained DigiEcho. Ashley had to find Leon new clothes as the man's thick fluffy coat ruin his old outfit. They did shave the lower half of his fur and it was so awkward looking that the skirt was added. Luis meanwhile documents any developments that come from this new form.

He has an inkling there is more to Conejo De Los Perdidos legend than first perceived. An intuition that grows as Leon's actions will determine whether he fully becomes a monster or this curse is a greater blessing in disguise.

March Hare AU

Hello guys, this is SonicAsura here! I have a new AU to share with you folks called the March Hare. Now this involves a concept I've recently uploaded: DigiEcho. You might want to check that out just in case since it does involve a bit of Digimon. For this particular AU, we'll be diving into the world of Jak and Daxter. This is a game series from my childhood but also one I have a bone to pick with for a variety of reasons.

It starts just a few months before Jak 2 and around the events of Daxter. Our hero, Jak, has just got done with another Dark Eco treatment. At this moment, he's once again near the cusp of breaking under the Baron's relentless torture. Jak is tired and he severely misses his old life especially his friends.

The young man is about to go to bed in his cell only to notice something strange. Static coming off his cell door. Jak barely has any time to react when a giant hologram of some strange rabbit emerged. Body constantly glitching and doesn't seem to be sentient. All it takes is Jak to touch this strange hologram for everything to go insane.

He had come in contact with a DigiEcho, specifically that of an Angoramon. Jak ends up transforming into a Haunted and with this new strength breaks out of prison. From here, he runs into Daxter who doesn't believe it's Jak at first before our newly cursed rabbit gives him proof.

The duo now reunited has to find the rest of their friends while fighting off those that wish them harm. Especially when a certain Kid ends up in Jak and Daxter's care alongside the secrets that will tear apart everything they know.

The line between friends n foes now blend, loyalties are tested, new powers are unleashed that Jak must master as the Baron closes in. Sometimes all it takes is a rabbit foot to break the chains of destiny.

Digimon-Human hybrids only having the one form they change into, with the power level depending on age, training, and such.

Hybrids would function a bit differently from both respective parents. They have human like forms but some traits of the Digimon parent's main line(stage doesn't matter). It's more noticable to spot in families with multiple children.

EX: GranDracmon parent has one child with their features yet the other two respectively have Sangloupmon and Dracmon instead.

Hybrids still be able to digivolve although with key differences. The traits they are born determines what stage is already in their line. A hybrid with Zudomon traits will have said as their Ultimate form. Their normal is the equivalent of Rookie/Child stage.

Actualizars are a key item for hybrids to have as it's the only main method to Digivolve. Extensive training can allow one to digivolve without the item. There are cases where some hybrids are born with no need for an Actualizer.

It's how I view the concept anyway.

DigiEchoes

A new concept that popped into my head last night and wouldn't let me properly sleep. This came from the Digitama concept from Digimon Ghost Game specifically how some fallen Digimon linger as ghosts or phantoms.

DigiEchoes is the result when something goes wrong in the Digitama process. The body of the deceased Digimon doesn't fully dissipate as it soul leaves. It instead lingers in a glitching near phantom like state. This is a DigiEcho.

Like a ghost, this phenomenon can walk through solid surfaces, vanish, and even fly. It can also mess with electronics often causing it to malfunction or work at a dangerous efficiency. Overall, DigiEchoes are mostly harmless...to inanimate objects.

You see, these phantoms are autonomous and avoid any physical contact with a sentient creature. There is a reason why. Just like when it was once whole, DigiEchoes can harmonize with the living especially humans. However a communion from this is actually a curse.

DigiEchoes don't have a soul and will dissipate if given enough time. However physical contact with a soul, whether without a body or with one is ill advised. The reason being the DigiEcho...will fully merge with the soul in question.

If the soul has a physical body, then it will fully change to match the DigiEcho in question, both appearance and ability wise. A squirrel coming in contact with a Agumon Echo will become an Agumon but have some of it's squirrel traits. Although unlike merging with a human, animals will gain humanlike sapience.

Those transformed by a DigiEcho are known as Haunted. Reverting back to their previous form is still unknown and answers have yet to be found. Haunted have the extra ability to commune with the spirit world. Talking to spirits to even crossing into the spirit plane and back. Digivolution for Haunted is very different in comparison to a Digimon.

It becomes a method of transformations with all sorts of factors from the Echo to even the Haunted themselves. Most of the time any Digivolution is a straight line that returns back to their Rookie stage. Ex: Agumon, Greymon, MetalGreymon, Wargreymon. However there are chances it could diverge depending on the Haunted's actions or personality. Ex: Agumon Haunted Lines

1. Tyrannomon, Metal Tyrannomon, RustTyrannomon (Haunted based)

2. Greymon, MetalGreymon, Wargreymon (Main)

3. Greymon Blue, SkullGreymon, Daemon (Haunted based)

Sometimes a Haunted can even skip past certain Stages like going from Rookie to Ultimate completely bypassing Champion. There are some chances of a Haunted being stuck in their new form post Digivolution. A Pokemon effect that brings an issue depending on the Digimon in question as their base instincts meld with the Haunted.

Ex: Lamortmon are known to be extremely hostile to those who think ill of it. A Lamortmon Haunted will have similar aggression but watered down thankfully. Still extreme caution is advised.

I do plan on using this like the Glitches concept. If you guys want to try a hand on DigiEchoes then you got my approval! I like to see what people can comes up with ideas such as this.
