90% of Watership Down content you see (art, quotes, references, everything) is about the blessing of El-ahrairah and honestly I get it, that quote hits harder than anything most books have to offer

in the movies rendering he has a little white stripe of fur on his nose bridge

I keep catching myself looking at a shelf where this lovely little piece sits today. It's a quote from Watership Down and was made by astichedreverie.

This was my favorite part to work on, and I recorded a speedpaint!!

This started as just me wanting to draw this Hunted design again, then I started coloring it. Then I made it lineless. Then I decided to do some background. Then this kinda just appeared in my canvas.

The quote is from the Watership Down Prologue. I just think it fits Hunted really well.
