Anotated Bibilography
Allen, M. A., Kirkpatrick, N., & Agosto, E. R. (2019). Anatomage table 6. Journal of Electronic Resources in Medical Libraries, 16(2), 59-66.
Allen et al. (2019) explore the Anatomage Virtual Dissection Table, a life-size 3D anatomy visualization table, that aids in the study and teaching of both human and animal anatomy. The touchscreen on the Anatomage Table enables users to engage with and examine a variety of gross anatomy and regional anatomy models. The article highlights upgrades made in the Fall of 2018. A new gross anatomical model and new regional anatomy models with improved anatomical information are a part of the 2018 upgrades. A prosection library with cadaver photos and original clinical and histological cases are also included in Table 6 to supplement the cadaver lab experience. Allen et al (2019) discuss how students can use the Anatomage website for comprehensive cadaver lab experience. Comparisons between anatomy instruction at a medical school cadaver lab and an Anatomage Virtual Dissection Table are made. The authors acknowledge that working with virtual cadavers does not provide the same experience and learning opportunities as working with real ones since it lacks a tactile learning component that can further cement the knowledge obtained in the lab. In conclusion, Anatomage Table is a great addition to cadaver-based anatomy programs and gives medical schools without the necessary infrastructure access to interactive cadaver models, but it does not replace the corpse lab as a teaching tool.
Al-Sarem, M., Boulila, W., Al-Harby, M., Qadir, J., & Alsaeedi, A. (2019). Deep learning-based rumor detection on microblogging platforms: a systematic review. IEEE access, 7, 152788-152812.
Al-Sarem et al. (2019) contend the spread of rumors is growing along with the growth of social media network’s popularity. Without any proof, rumors have the potential to spread across thousands of people and inflict significant harm quickly. The authors review various studies that have looked into how to use deep learning-based rumor detection to mine text from social media networks to manage internet rumors automatically. Al-Sarem et al. (2019) used neural network techniques to conduct an organized review of the literature on rumor detection. The authors manually evaluated five databases and reviewed a total of 108 studies. The considered papers were then examined in a systematic review to address the seven research questions posed by the authors.
Bondie, R. S., Dahnke, C., & Zusho, A. (2019). How does changing “one-size-fits-all” to differentiated instruction affect teaching?. Review of Research in Education, 43(1), 336-362.
Bondie et al. (2019) conducted a comprehensive literature review that explored how 28 U.S.-based research studies conducted between 2001 and 2015 defined, described, and measured changes in teaching practices associated with the implementation of Differentiated Instruction in Pre-K through Grade 12 classrooms. Research questions examined frameworks that defined differentiated instruction, classroom operationalization of differentiated instruction, critical barriers and facilitators, and how changes in teacher practices across studies did not result in a common definition of differentiated instruction. The extracted data were analyzed by study type, differentiated instruction purpose, theoretical framework, research questions, methodology, analysis method, anticipated/reported change in teacher practice, anticipated/reported impact on student learning, key barriers, facilitators, contextual factors, and teaching and research implications. The findings revealed how the numerous frameworks used to define differentiated instruction influenced various changes in teacher practices and roles. From a systematic response to policy to an informal teacher's perception of student differences, the goals of differentiated instruction varied significantly. Among the obstacles was the source of the differentiated instruction decision, whether it was the institution or the teacher. Future research is proposed with an integrative definition of differentiated instruction that focuses on teacher instructional reasoning and decision-making.
Fredriksson, C., & Vakhitova, T. (2020, October). Educational software for a sustainable future. In 2020 IEEE Frontiers in Education Conference (FIE) (pp. 1-3). IEEE.
Fredriksson et al. (2020) describe GRANTA EduPack software for materials-related instruction, which was originally developed as an educational aid for undergraduate instruction at the Engineering Department of Cambridge University some three decades ago. The authors explore the software’s use in the teaching of mechanical engineering, product development, and design. The introduction of the Eco Audit tool and how it streamlined life-cycle inventories during the early phases of product design is discussed. The most recent addition to these innovative resources is a Social Impact Audit Tool designed to introduce the concept of Social Life-Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) of products. The instrument is implemented in EXCEL and is based on the widely acknowledged UNEP/SETAC "Guidelines for Social Life Cycle Assessment of Products", allowing students to investigate S-LCA-illustrative scenarios. This paper describes the advancement outlined in the preceding steps and provides examples of its implementation in higher education. The authors explain how this software is the only comprehensive database that includes a comprehensive selection of materials classes and manufacturing processes.
Guckian, J., Eveson, L., & May, H. (2020). The great escape? The rise of the escape room in medical education. Future healthcare journal, 7(2), 112.
Guckian et al. (2020) explore how medical education has shifted to a learner-centered model, positioning students at the center of training innovations. One such innovative learner-centered activity is the escape room, in which a team of participants discovers clues, solves puzzles, and completes tasks to progress through the challenge and achieve a specific objective. In medical education, escape rooms can be used as a tool for team building, a fun method to impart technical and non-technical skills, to read and acquire or refresh knowledge, and for educational research. Despite appearing to be a shallow form of entertainment, escape rooms can be grounded in sound educational theory and serve as a low-cost, high-impact resource for a variety of learners when used effectively.
Havens, K. L., Saulovich, N. A., & Saric, K. J. (2020). A case report about anatomy applications for a physical therapy hybrid online curriculum. Journal of the Medical Library Association: JMLA, 108(2), 295.
Three-Digital anatomy applications in can be an effective supplement to more conventional learning methods. The challenge for medical libraries and educators is to select an app that most effectively supports anatomical learning objectives and then integrate it into health sciences curricula. When traditional learning methods, such as cadaver dissection, are impractical, app selection becomes particularly essential. At the authors' university, where the doctor of physical therapy (DPT) program expanded into a hybrid online environment, selection was difficult. Medical libraries can use our experience as a model to select anatomy resources that would be beneficial when contemplating the conversion of health sciences programs to online environments and to guide the integration of apps to supplement other anatomical models.
Kononets, N., Ilchenko, O., Zhamardiy, V., Shkola, O., Kolhan, O., Padalka, R., & Broslavska,
H. (2021). Software tools for creating electronic educational resources in the resource-based learning process.
The authors contend the current stage of digital technology in education involves creating a new information and educational environment, which requires electronic educational resources. At the same time, effective digital teaching methods are sought. Higher education faculty actively use digital technologies to provide new digital didactic support for discipline study. Qualitative creation, development, and successful application in EER education, which is a key area of resource-based learning (RBL), is becoming relevant. The article extensively analyzed Dr.Explain, an EER for RBL tool. User options and best practices for building electronic instructional resources in Dr.Explain are examined in this article. Dr.Explain appears to generate software documentation, help systems, online user guides and manuals, and technical documentation for software and technical systems. Dr.Explain can create CHM help files, ready-to-print publications, e-books, and hypertext e-learning resources in PDF and HTML formats.
Motsinger S. K. (2020). Complete anatomy. Journal of the Medical Library Association: JMLA, 108(1), 155–157. https://doi.org/10.5195/jmla.2019.853
Since 2009, 3D4Medical has developed medical products, including Complete Anatomy. Motsigner (2020) noted that more than one million students, educators, medical professionals, and institutions use its interactive anatomy models, clinical video animations, and virtual dissection tools. The article explores how Complete Anatomy is a powerful resource for medical students who want 3D models and tools to support their classroom and lab learning. The cadaver mobile feature is also explored. Teachers can use Complete Anatomy to create a curriculum using pre-built lessons and slides from global anatomy educators. It is unclear how educational capabilities in learning management platforms like Canvas or Blackboard will integrate with existing systems.
Roose, I., Vantieghem, W., Vanderlinde, R., & Van Avermaet, P. (2019). Beliefs as filters for comparing inclusive classroom situations. Connecting teachers’ beliefs about teaching diverse learners to their noticing of inclusive classroom characteristics in video clips. Contemporary Educational Psychology, 56, 140-151.
Roose et al (2019) examines teacher competency to educate different learners. The authors discuss how teachers' attitudes shape their vision of inclusive classrooms. This study examines how three types of teacher beliefs about teaching diverse learners—professional diversity, curriculum differentiation, and growth mindset—are associated with their noticing of two key aspects of effective inclusive classrooms: positive teacher-student interactions (PTSI) and differentiated instruction (DI). In Flemish schools 462 secondary education teachers were surveyed. Survey questionnaires investigated teacher beliefs, whereas a standardized video-based comparative judgement instrument measured PTSI and DI awareness. Multivariate multilevel frameworks merged survey and video data. Findings show that instructors' diversity and curriculum-differentiation views filter PTSI and DI in videoclips. No correlation was discovered between instructors' growth mindset.
Smale-Jacobse, A. E., Meijer, A., Helms-Lorenz, M., & Maulana, R. (2019). Differentiated instruction in secondary education: A systematic review of research evidence. Frontiers in psychology, 10, 2366.
Samle-Jacobse et al. (2019) contend that differentiated instruction gives teachers a framework for fulfilling students' various learning requirements. The authors argue that differentiated instruction has garnered attention in practice and research, but little is known about its empirical proof and benefits for secondary student progress. This study explores differentiated education theory and effectiveness research. A systematic evaluation of 2006–2016 literature summarizes empirical evidence on the effects of within-class varied instruction on secondary school students' academic progress. Only 14 papers about 12 unique empirical research on the issue were selected for examination. A narrative summary of the selected works reveals that differentiated education has multiple operationalizations.

a/n: i saw the renders (you know the ones) and became feral with need for dad!ghost, other cod dads coming soon, sorry to my friends for being forced to read me word vomit this in chat over four hours. ao3 link coming soon warnings: pregnancy talk word count: 1.8k
Simon doesn’t like when the baby wears the skulls but you do because it reminds you of him
When he grew up he equated the skull mask to terror, the baby only has positive thoughts about it and gets excited seeing it yelling out “daddy!” if she sees the motif in public, mortifying Simon and delighting you. Onlookers growing even more concerned when you coo back, “Yes, that is daddy!” pointing to the Halloween display of a grim reaper statue.
Tumblr media
I can tell you that Simon is a master at baby rearing
Simon would absolutely carry the baby under his arm like a football once her neck is strong enough even if you don’t like it because it’s more comfortable like that
It’s second nature to him somehow
Even when you’re stressed about the baby and can’t get her to stop crying somehow Simon just comes over and says the one thing you haven’t tried because he can differentiate between her cries
You were afraid about introducing the baby to Riley, but Simon wasn’t. “They live in the same flipping house, he has t’ get used to her!”
“But not when she’s newborn! Let her get a little bigger first!”
“No better time than now! She’ll never be afraid of him then and he’ll protect her!”
“They call them malingators for a reason!”
“Riley is a well-trained retired soldier. He’s not going to hurt the baby.”
The first meeting had Simon holding the baby in his arms and stooping down to Riley’s level, Riley nosing at the baby’s sock-covered feet hanging from Simon’s arms, sniffing excitedly. You stood above Simon, wringing your hands together, ready to jump in between the two at a moment's notice.
“This is your baby sister, Riley,” Simon instructed the dog whose ears moved, listening to his master’s voice, “She’s your new assignment, boy.”
“Bloodthirsty, isn’ he?” Simon asked you with a grin as the dog yawned and stayed calmly seated, beginning to lick at the baby's booties.
“Shut it, Si.”
Riley is the baby’s shadow. If she so much as sniffles he’s darting across the house trying to find out what’s wrong. It’s like Simon’s watching over her even when on missions
Simon hates that the dog is named Riley because he thinks it’s stupid and is constantly begging to rename the dog. You refuse because you like the constant reminder of your husband. It doesn't matter that he shares the family name.
When you first bring the baby home from the hospital Simon is in constant awe at how tiny she is. Like a little doll he keeps telling you to the point he sounds like a broken record
Simon constantly worried about baby being cold 2k24 and always has a blankie in the diaper bag or draped over the baby carrier.
After missions he would look for you first when he came home before stripping off the dirt and grime of missions and now it’s the baby. He used to think you were his reason to keep trying to save the world and now it’s her. It only stings a little but that is soothed when you see the awe in his face when she coos at him from her crib
It isn’t long before Simon is trying to get you to agree to try for another “Jus’ one more love,” he'll mutter into your neck after the baby is put down for the night and you two have retired to your bedroom only to be batted away weakly
“Oh no, Si! No more babies and no more sex! Not if you’re going to talk like that!”
“But yer such a good mum. We should have a houseful.”
Simon would petition you to quit your job because it’s bad enough the baby has to deal with him being gone on missions they shouldn’t have their mum gone too
“I make more ‘an enough for you to stay home with her!”
“The money isn’t the point, Si,” You coo at the baby on your lap, “I don’t need to be a housewife and I like working!”
You giggle whenever the other 141 men are over because they will carry the diaper bag slung over their shoulder and completely at odds with their uniforms.
It heats your cheeks to watch your burley husband in full military uniform when you greet him on base, bouncing your baby on his hips, playfully pulling her hands away when she gets too close to a switch or something she shouldn't touch, particularly when other women notice him too
It would swell your chest with pride when you and Si were out with the baby and he’d get longing looks from women when he was doing dadly things like pushing the stroller or rifling through the diaper bag for her bottle or burp cloth.
“You have to have seen the way women look at you when you’re carrying the baby.”
“Whaddya mean?”
“You’re practically tormenting them, Si! And me too! You’re all big and tough! You’re in uniform or in a compression shirt and then you’re holding onto her in just your arm while she can’t even wrap a hand around one of your fingers!”
Simon doesn’t understand your point, “I’m tormenting you?”
Heat flushes your cheeks, “I like watching you be a dad to our daughter.”
The baby has essentially four dads as all of 141 takes care of the baby when they come to visit on leave
You worry about them spoiling her, “She’ll get too used to being held Si!”
“Then damn well let ‘er!”
“What about when they leave!”
“You think they’re leaving?! Soaps brought a bloody duffel!”
Because when you have the baby Captain Price, Soap, and Gaz are all going to visit. Moving into your cramped guest room for easily the first month after the baby’s born, Gaz and Soap fighting over who gets the futon and who has to share the bed with the Captain.
They need to see the baby!
They never thought Si would settle down but that was before you and your endless patience with the grumpy military man set in his ways.
You didn’t miss when Price clapped him on the shoulder after Simon showed off the baby for the first time, “You did well, Son.”
“Thank god she got the missus’ looks!” Soap crowed, “I was worried she’d get L.t.’s ugly mug!”
“I was hoping she would Johnny,” you peer down at the baby in Simon’s arms and trace a finger down her cheek, “She did get his eyes though. You know those were the first thing I noticed when we started talking, Si? How sad your eyes were.”
“Don’ have “sad eyes”.”
“I thought you did. And you were wearing that silly skull balaclava too, so I couldn’t very well fall in love with your chiseled jaw or the cute scar on your lip,” Soap and Gaz howled in laughter, missing the dirty looks from Ghost (You did too, eyes entirely on your daughter swaddled in a soft terry blanket in her father’s arms)
“Hey L.t. let me give you a few more scars for the missus to kiss!” Gaz ribbed
You never minded patching Simon up after missions. It gave you an excuse to ogle your husband in detail. Even before you were married, he’d tried to wave you off when you’d dab at the blood encrusted cuts and then flush when after taking care of the ones on his arms, much less when he stretched and took off his shirt for you to do the ones on his chest too. Thankfully he didn’t notice your brain shorting as you forgot how to breathe when you saw how heavily muscled and tattooed he was, culminating in an audible gasp as your eyes took in his happy trail and Adonis belt.
“You ok?”
“Y-yeah just banged my foot on the tub.”
He’d later recount this to Soap who nearly banged his head on the wall at how dense Ghost was being
“An’ you wen’ home after that!”
“Yes Johnny, I had PT the next morning and had to ship out that night.”
He let out a string of curses, “The lass likes you and probably was hoping you’d stay the night wi’ her!”
“MacTavish,” Simon warned.
“She let you take off your clothes in her bathroom and then cleaned you up! Lasses don’t do that for cheeky cunts they don’ like!”
You miss him when he’s on missions of course, but it’s easier once you have Riley and then the baby. It’s like you have piece’s of him with you
Si is a beige mom but instead of beige it’s gray. You try and explain the importance of the bright colors in developing the baby’s eyesight but Si just mutters something about no baby of his is going to look like a muppet
Riley used to sleep at the foot of your bed but now he sleeps by the crib. You don’t know when he learned how to work door knobs but it happened somewhere between the third trimester and birth. Now you have to coax him into your room if you miss Si and want to cuddle Riley
You’ve given up on trying to keep Riley out of the nursery and instead just tut when you find dog hairs on the baby.
Riley is the ever-patient soldier with the baby, letting her pull on his tail and ears, tugging on (and sometimes removing) his fur, all while happily wagging his tail at being used as a jungle gym
When the baby starts toddling and skins her knees, Si can’t help but scoop her up before the first tear leaves her eye “Si you’re spoiling her!” “She hurt herself, I can’ just let her cry” “She hadn't even cried yet!” “She was abou’ to”
Simon is an over attentive dad because he doesn’t want his baby to suffer the same way he did
Si rolls his eyes whenever you  tell him not to throw the baby in the air because he’ll drop her but he knows his reflexes are superhuman and he’d catch her
SI doesn’t baby talk and will discuss the finer parts of gun mechanics and maintenance with your infant as she gums on a teether.
When she’s older, Si buys her a pellet gun for Christmas and hides it from you until unwrapped on Christmas morning
By the time it’s in her hands you know you’ve lost
He ignores your dirty glance that says “We’ll talk about this later”
As she grows up she starts talking about joining the SAS like her daddy and you’re filled with fear while Si encourages it. Starts taking her training with him much to your horror, first on short jogs around the neighborhood, then to the gym proper to teach her how to throw a punch. She quickly becomes the star of the base, with all the men calling her “Recruit”
“Nothing dangerous yet Si I mean it!”
“She asks for it!”
“She is a child and you are her father! You’re supposed to be the voice of reason!”
“The voice of reason says she might as well be trained right if she wants it!”
a/n: likes/reblogs/comments appreciated please talk to me about dad!ghost i cant contain myself

also like. The way that some discoursers describe the role of a "power differential" in an age gap relationship is heavily informed by cishet relationship expectations that frame a romantic relationship as adversarial.
Just saw someone in the comments of a post about age gaps discussing how confusing it can be to determine who in a relationship actually has the "upper hand," once you take into account factors like income, immigration status, race, and so on. True enough facts, but also -- why are we discussing relationships in terms of who has the upper hand? How will that upper hand be utilized and what does it mean to actually be in a loving relationship with another person when that is how you approach how you relate to one another?
Liberal feminist dating advice for cishet women in particular leads them to become obsessed with not losing the "upper hand" over the men that they are dating -- to not show too much affection or genuine interest, to not forgive mistakes lest you become weak, to not become dependent upon a partner, to remain economically empowered and so on.
Again, these are very sensible attempts to balwark oneself against systemic sexism in the patriarchy, I'm not blaming women for often needing to do all of that.
But can you actually be in a mutually supportive, interdependent relationship if you are constantly guarding yourself against losing your position? Is it loving, is it nourishing, is it a real relationship if you must always guard yourself against losing the "upper hand"?
Patriarchal laws and policies and the awful conduct of many men obviously makes this kind of thinking adaptive for many, but it is horrible that cishet women feel that they can never be vulnerable around the people that they love. That is not a state of affairs we should consider acceptable or admirable; that kind of thinking is not a solution to the real issue at hand, which in this case is systemic sexism, but in other cases could be ageism, classism, what have you.
we need to remove the existing power differentials in a structural way so that people are free to love others how they want to, and not constantly guard themselves against those they love. But even in the meantime, viewing a single interpersonal relationship as the battleground in which these systemic forces play out is a bit confused.
Telling individual people who are marginalized that they must be mindful of the "power differential" when electing whom to date is a bit like telling women they shouldn't "let" themselves be assaulted by wearing the wrong item of clothing or hanging out in the wrong places. That is not why abuse happens. It is not in the marginalized person's control. And instructing marginalized people to avoid receiving love and support as means of protecting themselves only leaves them far more vulnerable in a lot of cases.

The B Word - Betelgeuse Quick Fix Fic
Tumblr media
You weren't entirely sure what to expect, but a Halloween themed candy-cane-looking, green-haired, mouldy man with unmedicated attention span issues was not it. All you'd done was say the name on the flyer a few times as instructed.
Left, right, up, down, hanging from the roof or crawling out of the floor like a zombie, he was all over the place. Your eyes could barely keep up with him at any given time.
"Jesus Christ," you swore as he rambled words so fast you couldn't differentiate them. "Slow down- hol- Beetle-"
"Uh-uh, toots," came his reply before you could finish saying his name aloud. His pale hand over your mouth was colder than you were expecting, but then again he was dead. "It's a no-go, no bueno on the B word, comprende?"
You nodded slowly, and he released his hand from your mouth.
"What should I call you, then?" You asked, already hesitant for the answer.
"The Beej, Juice-Man, Daddy-o, Ghost with the most, Bio-Exorcist Extraordinaire- it's your pick, babe."
A snort escaped you despite yourself.
"Beej it is, then."

"I don’t really know where I fit in anymore."
"I’ve been alive almost five and a half centuries and I’m not sure of that, either."
The day he had said those words to Feyre seemed like a lifetime away, as if experienced in a dream centuries ago when he was younger and could not differentiate between reality and what his brain had conjured up. But he knew, it had merely been five years.
The five years he had cherished the most in his life.
He loved his family. He adored the way Rhys and Cassian bickered during their annual snowball fight, the way Amren found a way to slide in a snide remark at every dinner, the way Mor would always be ready to go partying. Above all, he adored how all his family including the Archeron sisters would be ready to help him and be there for him any day. Even in the middle of the night when he did not want to wake up his wife but knew he needed someone to help him with his crying daughter.
But… they did not complete him. He loved them to bits and would readily give his life for them… before he met his now wife and decided she was the one he would spend his life with, mating bond be damned. He had lost all hopes of finding his mate back then after waiting for five centuries.
Imagine his shock when on their wedding day, he felt another thread of gold tying him to his wife.
Now as he sat watching his daughter pet a purring Nuts lounging on the low table in front of him while explaining to him how tea was made, he smiled.
He had found his place of belonging. And it was with his wife and daughter.
Of course, there had to be that boy trying to take his daughter away from him. What was his name? Kade? Kaden? Azriel thought bitterly.
He knew he was being dramatic. His daughter was barely four years at this point, no four year old was going to steal her away.
Hazel turned to Azriel, making him focus all his attention on her. He offered her a smile when she handed him a small pink cup.
"What is this?" He asked, bringing the empty toy to his lips.
She shot him an incredulous look. "It’s the tea you ordered daddy."
"Oh, yeah sorry, I was thinking about something."
She shook her head. "Stop thinking and focus, daddy. Kaden always pays attention."
Azriel stilled.
I am being compared to a four year old boy now? What has life come to.
He sighed, mumbling out an apology even though all he wanted to do was tell her to stay away from that boy.
He did not want to be forced to go apologise again.
She began fumbling with the littered toys on the desk once more, completely ignoring Azriel in favour of mumbling instructions to Nuts, as if teaching him how to cook.
As he watched her move over to the huge armchair and place a cup on it, conversing with what Azriel could only hope was not spirits of the deceased, his curiosity peaked.
Maybe it was a bad idea, but he needed to make sure that she was not getting overly friendly with Kaden.
"Hazel, this tea is amazing." He waited till she giggled before continuing. "By the way, how’s school?"
It was daycare to help her get accustomed to going to school next year, but Hazel insisted she was a big girl and attended big girl school.
"It’s fine. Miss Black gave me a gold star yesterday because I helped her." Hazel was focused on the air she was stirring in her red pot as she talked, lips pursed slightly in concentration.
"Hmm. Who’s your best friend?"
Please don’t say Kaden. Not Kaden. Please.
She turned around to glare at him, and he wondered if by any chance he had said the words aloud. But he knew he hadn’t. Azriel wouldn’t let himself speak without permission from himself.
Her brows bunched up, lips pouting and eyes narrowed, she looked as offended as an old grandma being told her grandchild was full and did not want more food.
"Daddy, it’s you. You’re my best friend." She rolled her eyes.
Azriel watched. He simply watched her return back to stirring her pot.
Cassian had been the one to teach her the eye rolling. Azriel had been amused. Seeing a child barely reaching his knees roll her eyes at him like she had lived five lives was nothing short of funny.
But right now, it felt anything but.
It’s you daddy.
His eyes were prickling, that was his first conscious thought after long moments of silence in his head. His vision was getting blurry, throat clogging. Tell tale signs of a sob session oncoming. But he could not bring himself to care as he stared at this little faeling, who did not even realise what she had done.
You’re my best friend.
Azriel simply sat back against the couch, the cushions pressing against his bare back, and let the tears have their way on his skin.
I’m her best friend.
Even despite the emotions Hazel had brought forth, somewhere in the back of his mind Azriel was rejoicing that her best friend was not Kaden.
Guess I’m never beating the territorial illyrian accusations.
The shadows settled down on his shoulders, swirling softly against his skin as they too watched Hazel play and pet Nuts occasionally. They did not inform him of his wife’s arrival in the living room. They did not have to. He simply felt when her presence was near. The all consuming feeling of love growing stronger in his chest being another indicator.
"Hazel, it’s bath time baby. Let’s go."
Hazel huffed as if what Y/n had said was the most outrageous thing ever. "Mommy, I can’t leave yet. There are customers."
Azriel practically felt his wife’s eyes narrow. "Daddy can attend to your customers."
Hazel turned to look at Azriel pleadingly, her eyes wide and placating before they filled with shock. "Daddy why are you crying!"
Y/n drew closer. "Azzie?"
Azriel blinked, smiling up at his wife before picking up his daughter. "It’s nothing. Just some dust."
Hazel turned to scowl at Nuts. "I told you to clean up properly. Now see, because of you my daddy is crying."
Azriel huffed out a laugh, pressing his lips to her round cheek.
"Let’s go shower baby. I’ll even get your toys, yeah?"
Azriel’s gaze swung to Y/n at the end of his sentence. She gave him a knowing smile.
"Can Nuts come too? Please daddy, mommy!"
"Fine, but no splashing." Y/n pointed a finger at the father-daughter duo, eyebrows raised.
Hazel had begun to whine, but even she knew not to argue when mommy was serious.

𝐓𝐨𝐤𝐲𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐱 𝐁𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
≡ H e a d c a n o n s .ᐟ
⏤͟͟͞͞★ Headcanons of how the boys from Tokyo Revengers would behave if they had a girlfriend with the Bimbo personality. (From what I understand, Bimbo is an extremely attractive but silly girl?)
ᶻ 𝗓ᵎ 𝑭𝒕. Ran Haitiani, Rindou Haitani, Sanzu Haruchiyo, Izana Kurokawa, Hanma Shuji, Kazutora Hanemiya and Manjiro Sano
Tumblr media
𝐑𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐢
Tumblr media
୨୧ He is not the type of boy who would take on any girl, Ran is picky about the appearance of the girls he dates, for this reason, he would definitely choose someone extremely attractive from his perspective to present to others as his girlfriend.
୨୧ Ran wouldn't care about the girl's lack of intelligence as long as she does what he wants.
୨୧ However, he wouldn't like naivety, especially in front of other guys, Ran is a little jealous and wouldn't worry about showing such behavior.
୨୧ He likes the "silly" and innocent way, often Haitani ends up just seeing it as something cute.
୨୧ The more manipulable the girl is, the better for him, even so, Ran would never mistreat a girl, on the contrary, the taller one would love to keep her being spoiled.
𝐑𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐮 𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢
Tumblr media
୨୧ Deep down, Rindou doesn't care that much about appearances, despite that, having an attractive girl by his side would make him satisfied.
୨୧ He actually wouldn't have much patience with silly questions or "stupid" speeches, even so, Rindou wouldn't treat her rudely, he would just ignore her.
୨୧ Rindou would be attentive and affectionate most of the time despite often being absent.
୨୧ Although he doesn't show jealousy often, Rindou definitely gets upset when his girlfriend shows some kind of naivety in front of some people, he always tries to instruct the girl on how to differentiate between compliments and flirting.
୨୧ In some rare moments he would be patient to try to teach the girl anything she didn't know.
𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐮 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐨
Tumblr media
୨୧ Haruchiyo has a discreet personality, however, he would not fail to enter into a relationship with an extremely attractive girl just because she attracts attention.
୨୧ Silly questions and behavior would make him deeply irritated, he would not be at all patient with the girl's lack of intelligence despite him liking her.
୨୧ The fact that the girl was naive wouldn't please him much, deep down, he would find the girl's naive behavior a bit forced since Sanzu imagined that such "innocent" people didn't exist.
୨୧ Sanzu would give importance to the fact that he strives to be a good boyfriend regardless of anything, he would definitely be attentive and kind most of the time.
୨୧ Despite everything, Sanzu wouldn't treat the girl badly regardless of whether he liked her behavior or not, he would just instruct her to look less silly in front of the people he knew so as not to end up feeling some kind of shame about his girlfriend's lack of intelligence.
𝐈𝐳𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐰𝐚
Tumblr media
୨୧ Izana cares about appearances, he would perhaps avoid taking on someone who was not so attractive in his eyes, for that reason, he would not worry about not keeping the relationship a secret if the girl was really beautiful.
୨୧ He would be easily irritated by the lack of intelligence, Izana would not have the patience to hear silly or repetitive questions, the boy would just ignore or respond harshly.
୨୧ Most of the time he is possessive, for this reason, he would not want other people to stay in touch with his girlfriend if she was such a naive person.
୨୧ The girl's innocence would make him attracted, he would find the girl's naive behavior somewhat cute even if her words irritated him at times.
୨୧ Maybe he wouldn't take the relationship so seriously, Izana just likes to have someone do her bidding without questioning too much.
𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚 𝐒𝐡𝐮𝐣𝐢
Tumblr media
୨୧ Hanma wouldn't take the relationship so seriously, in fact, maybe he would only date the girl because he likes her appearance and the way she pleases him and does his bidding without questioning too much.
୨୧ He would get easily irritated by "dumb" questions, the girl's lack of intelligence would really bother him most of the time, but he would stop caring about this behavior after some time.
୨୧ Despite everything, he would like the girl's naivety, bearing in mind that perhaps she would end up being somewhat manipulable, even so, he doesn't like it when she shows herself to be naive in front of other people.
୨୧ He always makes it clear how jealous he is, which is why Hanma gets so angry when they realize how "innocent" his girlfriend can be.
୨୧ Hanma wouldn't be so dedicated to being a good boyfriend, despite that, he would be affectionate when he was in a good mood.
𝐊𝐚𝐳𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐲𝐚
Tumblr media
୨୧ Kazutora certainly wouldn't be so patient with the girl's "lack of intelligence" at first, however, after some time, he would just end up getting used to some silly questions.
୨୧ He would be attentive, also not minding teaching his girlfriend some basic things when he had some patience.
୨୧ The girl's "naivety" would attract him in some way, so he wouldn't think it was bad if his girlfriend was a bit naive.
୨୧ Most of the time, Kazutora doesn't mind showing how jealous he can be, for this reason, although he enjoys the formHowever his girlfriend behaved, such behavior would often make him jealous.
୨୧ Kazutora is dedicated to being a good boyfriend, he also doesn't care much about appearances but he likes the fact of dating an attractive girl even if she isn't that intelligent and sometimes a bit silly.
𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐫𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐨
Tumblr media
୨୧ He would definitely not be the type of boy who wouldn't take on a girl he really liked, Manjiro wouldn't care so much about personality and appearance, just if he really liked someone, he would stay by that person's side.
୨୧ Manjiro would be patient with the girl's ways, not worrying about ending up teaching her some things that she simply didn't know, no matter how basic they seemed.
୨୧ The fact that the girl is very naive would bother him a little, Mikey's discomfort at seeing someone trying to take advantage of this is undeniable.
୨୧ He's not jealous, on the contrary, he's confident enough to the point where he can't even feel that kind of feeling.
୨୧ Mikey would call the girl "silly" sometimes, but not as an insult, just as an affectionate nickname.

jjk characters as male thot jobs
including: satoru gojo, suguru geto, toji fushiguro, kento nanami
contents: sfw but very suggestive, jjk men acting like sluts, gn!reader but there is a fem term used once
a/n: you might not consider some of these as “thot jobs” but im here to hypnotize you ouuuuhhh *wiggles fingers around* .. this is so silly but i had a blast writing this one
Tumblr media
☆ . . . since gojo’s brain is hardwired to find teasing others amusing and quite the pass time i could see him as a dentist. you go to your local clinic for a annual deep cleaning and this man purposely goes out of his way to make things seem inherently sensual but still manages to do his job professionally. he’ll coo and praise you for following the most regular orders “now open real nice and wide for me … that’s righttt, good girl.” and “bite down on this … mhm yes just like that, you’re doing a great job.”
he’d definitely be like the annoying ones who still try to have a conversation while knuckles-deep prodding in your mouth. “i can tell you haven’t been flossing as much as you should be, what’s up with that?” and all you can do is narrow your eyes at him. he always caress your jaw and cheek too even through the latex gloves his touches are so intimate and gentle at the end of your appointment you’ll be genuinely considering if you should fuck your dentist or not.
☆ . . . i had multiple options for geto but firmly decided on a ceramic artist. i can envision him owning a modern yet whimsical pottery studio —he wanted the modern look but nanako and mimiko insist on the whimsical interior— he offers free beginner classes twice a month. omgg the way his hands knead at the clay and skillfully sculpts on the wheel with his fingers meticulously bending, making his veins more prominent while delicately morphing the creation into a vase. he annunciates his instructions with melodic calmness but still has authority present in his tone i swearrr his voice is like honey.
you catch his eye in one of his classes and offers extended hours free of charge to help you “better your form.” he sits behind you, cradling your forearms directing your movements but still making room for you to assist your own creation. his warm minted breath tickles the back of your neck causing goosebumps “make sure to sit close to the wheel and anchor your elbows tightly against your body…” the sultry in his tone doesn’t go unnoticed with him slightly moving to your ear next “don’t be afraid to make mistakes it’s all about trial and error, darling.”
☆ . . . like the unemployed bum toji is, he seems like the type of man to pride himself as a ‘jack of all trades.’ which is why i see him in the freelancer field of work, specifically, a personal shopper. he has an app on his phone where he can either accept or deny requests. he’s quite picky with commissions when money isn’t running low, but don’t get him wrong, he’s willing to go the extra mile to please his clients. always prefers phone calls over text when discussing farther details knowing his gruff voice will have the recipient weak in the knees. he isn’t shameful to treat his full time employment as a part time hookup arrangement…if he’s lucky enough that is.
“here’s your stuff, pretty.” the quite taller and muscular man at your porch hands over a brown bag containing your groceries. you don’t miss the way his hands graze yours in the exchange, his sharp eyes examine you like you’re his prey; awaiting for your next move in a game you involuntarily started playing. words of gratitude try to slither past your lips but ultimately couldn’t: you’ve officially peaked his interest. “hey, why don’t i help you unload your items?” at that, you nodded making way for the sleazy man to enter your home and eventually your bedroom as well.
☆ . . . what differentiates nanami from the rest is that he’s unaware of how insanely attractive his profession as a baker is. he truly doesn’t understand the appeal of a man in an apron kneading dough and decorating pink frilly cupcakes. he co-owns a bakery with haibara !! they even enrolled in culinary school together. the interior is quite morden with wisteria and other succulent plants hanging from the ceiling; most of the time he’s clueless to very clear advances from others or kindly shut them down saying how he’s “not looking for anything serious” which is a lie he himself started to believe.
but on a faithful sunday autumn morning you stroll in just salivating at the thought of warm dewy chocolate filled croissants, fresh from the oven, when you see him; clad in a bulky knitted cream sweater tying a black apron around his slim waist whilst his becipes bulged slightly through the thick material of the sweater. “good morning, what can i get for you today?” one thing lead to another making you leave with not only a croissant but the blond man’s phone number —due thanks to his cheeky younger coworker, yuji, who wrote the number on your receipt including a note that read: ‘he’s soooo into you :)’

Could we get hank macoy with a reader whi gets overwhelmed cause sge has a similar mutation to charels, and finds comfort in the quiet of the lab?
Hope you have a good day!
Quiet Moments in the Lab
Tumblr media
The Xavier Institute was always bustling with activity—students training, laughter echoing down the halls, and the hum of conversations filling every corner. For most, it was a place of comfort and camaraderie, a safe haven where they could be themselves. But for you, with your telepathic abilities so similar to Charles's, it could often become overwhelming.
You had spent most of your life learning how to control your powers, building mental walls to keep the thoughts of others at bay. But even the strongest walls had cracks, and sometimes, the flood of emotions, thoughts, and voices would become too much.
Today was one of those days.
It started with a headache, a dull throb at the base of your skull that slowly grew until it felt like your head was splitting in two. The thoughts and emotions of everyone around you seemed louder, more intrusive, until you couldn’t differentiate between your own thoughts and those of the people around you. Your vision blurred, and your breath came in short, shallow gasps as you fought to keep the tide from overtaking you.
You needed to escape. Somewhere quiet, somewhere peaceful. Without a second thought, you found yourself making your way to the one place in the mansion where you knew you could find solace—the lab.
The lab was tucked away in a quieter part of the mansion, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the main areas. It was Hank McCoy’s domain, filled with equipment, experiments, and the faint scent of chemicals. It was also a place of sanctuary for you, a refuge from the noise that so often threatened to overwhelm your senses.
You slipped inside, closing the door softly behind you. The lab was dimly lit, the only light coming from the soft glow of the monitors and the fluorescent bulbs over the workbenches. The usual hum of machinery was a low, comforting background noise, a sharp contrast to the chaotic buzz in your mind.
Hank was there, of course. He was always in the lab, always working on something, and today was no exception. He was bent over a microscope, his large, blue frame hunched in concentration as he carefully adjusted the lens.
You stood there for a moment, just watching him, taking in the quiet, steady rhythm of his movements. Hank was a comforting presence in the mansion, with his gentle demeanor and vast intellect. Despite his formidable appearance, he was one of the kindest souls you had ever met.
And, more importantly, he had a way of grounding you when the world felt like it was spinning out of control.“Hank?” you called out softly, your voice barely above a whisper.
He looked up immediately, his keen senses picking up on your distress even before he saw the look on your face. “Y/N?” His deep, soothing voice was tinged with concern as he straightened up, wiping his hands on a nearby cloth before crossing the room to you. “What’s wrong? You look… troubled.”
You took a shaky breath, trying to steady yourself. “It’s… it’s just too much today. The noise, the thoughts, everything.” You closed your eyes, pressing the heels of your hands against your temples as if you could physically push the headache away. “I just needed to get away for a while.”
Hank’s expression softened, and without a word, he gently guided you to a stool beside one of the workbenches. “Sit,” he instructed, his voice calm and reassuring. “Take a few deep breaths. You’re safe here.”
You did as he said, focusing on your breathing as you tried to block out the cacophony of thoughts that still echoed in your mind. Slowly, the tension began to ease, the overwhelming flood of emotions receding just enough for you to think clearly again.
“Thank you,” you murmured, opening your eyes to find Hank watching you, his expression one of quiet concern. “You know you’re always welcome here,” he said, his voice low and soothing. “The lab is a refuge for both of us, I think.”
You nodded, grateful for his understanding. “It’s the only place where I can really think, where everything else falls away.” You gave him a small, tired smile. “I like the way you talk about science. It’s… calming.”
Hank’s lips quirked into a small smile of his own, his eyes crinkling slightly at the corners. “Would you like me to explain what I’m working on?” he asked gently, as if he knew that his voice, with its deep, measured tones, would help steady you.
“Yes, please,” you whispered, leaning back on the stool and closing your eyes again, letting the sound of his voice wash over you like a balm. Hank began to speak, his words slipping into the familiar cadence of scientific explanation. He talked about cellular mutations, DNA sequences, and the latest advancements in genetic research. To anyone else, it might have seemed like dry, complicated jargon, but to you, it was a lifeline—a steady, constant rhythm that helped anchor you to the present.
As he spoke, you felt the tension in your shoulders ease, the headache slowly ebbing away. The world outside the lab seemed to fade into the background, until it was just you, Hank, and the quiet, steady beat of his words.
“...and this particular strain of the virus is fascinating because it exhibits properties that are resistant to most conventional treatments,” Hank continued, his voice a comforting rumble. “But with a few adjustments to the gene sequencing, we might be able to counteract those effects…”
You opened your eyes, watching him as he explained his work with passion and precision. There was something incredibly soothing about the way he spoke, the way his hands moved as he gestured to the various charts and samples laid out on the bench.
Hank caught your gaze, and his expression softened even further. “Is this helping?” he asked, his tone gentle.“It is,” you replied honestly, giving him a small, grateful smile. “I don’t know how you do it, but you always know how to make things feel… less overwhelming.”
He returned your smile with one of his own, reaching out to place a large, warm hand over yours. “It’s simply a matter of finding what works for you, Y/N. For me, it’s science—it’s what I know, what I understand. And if that can help you, even a little, then I’m more than happy to share it.”
You squeezed his hand, feeling a surge of affection for this brilliant, kind-hearted man who had always been there for you. “You’re a good friend, Hank. Thank you.” He looked almost bashful at your words, ducking his head slightly before clearing his throat. “It’s the least I can do,” he said softly. “We all have our struggles, but we don’t have to face them alone.”
The two of you sat in comfortable silence for a while, the only sound the quiet hum of the equipment and the soft patter of rain against the window. And in that moment, you felt a sense of peace that had been eluding you all day, a calmness that only Hank’s presence and the quiet of the lab could bring.

Yandere Squid Game AU | Idia Shroud
Tumblr media
Working for a secret organization that murdered its players on a massive scale wasn’t as horrifying as it sounds. Granted, it was truly mortifying but you get used to it. You don’t show your face, you don’t flinch, and you listen to the Frontman. If you keep quiet and stay in your lane it isn’t long before you start moving up the ladder. From triangle to circle to square–it was like any other job. Like in any typical occupation if your boss, finds favor in your physique or otherwise you naturally get promoted. Thus was your fate as you went from being a mere circle to becoming the masked servant in the VIP room where you subject yourself to the whims of the richest and most disgusting patrons.
Idia Shroud
Not many had the privilege of seeing the identity of the Host but you weren’t a part of the many. He was a technical genius, an avid inventor, and the one who loved to switch between his position as the Host and Frontman: Idia Shroud.
Now that you knew the joyful tilde in the disguised voice was made with a toothy smile of a gamer with azure flame-like hair; it made a disturbing amount of sense. No longer could you differentiate the man from his madness when he demanded you call his name in private.
When you first met him he gave an odd aura, speaking as though he was imitating someone or making fun of whoever he was talking to. It made for an interesting work environment, he would make oddly specific references as he commanded the squares who could only tilt their heads and agree. Usually, you’d practiced your stoicism keeping yourself as robotlike as possible.
But one meme.
One reference.
That has you chuckling and answering the Frontman, who seemed to freeze behind his mask still turned in your direction. He continues on acting as if nothing happened and you worry that you may have embarrassed yourself in front of your boss. Only to be broken out of your routine by one of the squares who handed you folded clothes and gave you instructions to begin your job as a VIP waiter.
So maybe he did like it?
“You’re the new waiter, right?”
You nodded.
“Good. You like it, here?”
“...Yes.”
“Good.”
The interaction was so curt and quick that you missed the skip in his step. It doesn’t take long for you to realize whoever is behind the frontman’s mask is also the one pretending to dress up as whatever shape employee you need to interact with. At that point, it makes you tirelessly paranoid as you feel the possible pressure of your boss constantly watching you.
And while you think you might have hidden your fear behind your masks, guess who’s got heavy surveillance on your room? He sees the way you pace on your time off and the recordings of you whispering affirmations in the bathroom. He enjoys seeing your cute reactions when he scares you a bit or how you tilt your head when you're trying to guess if it's him. But he loves you more. And if his kitten is feeling skittish he’ll change your environment.
“You. Come with me.”
You nod, sending a look to the other VIP waiters who express their worry with as little expression as possible. Following the Host whose appearances were so far and in between would mean instant death should you disappoint. But with as many things in your life, you expected who this was.
“...Sir?”
The Host turns their head to you, stopping in his tracks.
‘How dare you?’
You sighed harnessing your courage as you continued.
“I know who you are…you’re the one who's been behind the masks right?”
He stayed in place.
“The one who’s left those memes in my room. That was you, right?”
He turned fully around. Facing you with his arms behind his back.
“And if I am?”
You didn’t actually know. You just wanted to be sure. To throw away this facade of deception. You wanted the truth.
“I would prefer it if you just told me it was you. Rather than pretending you were someone else.”
A bellied voice-modified laughter emanated from the Host. He grabbed his wrist, subtly clicking at a device on his arm. Before returning to cradle his stomach.
“Awfully bold of you to approach your boss like this.”
Perhaps your relocation could wait.

some gamer!ellie + loser!ellie mishmash blurbs/hcs, nsfw content mdni!!
Tumblr media
⋆.ೃ;giggling and kicking my feet thinking abt pretending to be a lil dumb when it comes to things ellie/loser!ellie knows like the back of her hand. im mostly thinking video games, she thumbs the controllers joystick around and aims at whatever she's explaining in that attractive ass navelly, gravelly tone, like "you go over here for ammo, then- shoot em' down. oh, and-" her index points towards the 'd-pad' button, pivoting her face to you, "to open the inventory." and shows you the inventory mechanics, flexing her knuckles when it rolls and snaps the joysticks.
⋆.ೃ;loser ellie surely gets all sheepish and Involuntarily smiles, unable to keep her lips from cracking into a crescent whenever she watches you take after her instructions.
⋆.ೃ;you tick your tongue, annoyed at the game, so ellie wedges her long ass fingers under your palms and prys the controller from your grip, "lemme' try." and she clears the objective immediately. personally, I'm not bad at games, but i'd try losing a few times so she can help me 🥱🥱
⋆.ೃ;also she good at clit stim cause she be flicking controller sticks all day 🤣 rubbing in tight and wide circles ohmigorsh 😵 jokey hc
⋆.ೃ;if u get decent at the game, and gain the ability to headshot enemies here and there, she'll whisper little "fuck yeahs" , "good jobs" , "sicks" and "rad" , patting and rubbing the plump of your inner thigh. altho pre-dating or loser!ellie would rub the baby hairs behind the conch of her ear shyly and fracts multiple smirks for each gunshot plowed through the enemies head.
Tumblr media
⋆.ೃ;⚠️you prbly went down on her once while she played video games. seeing how out of focus she gets and the number of times she dies in a boss fight. like she's playing resident evil 4, fighting mendez' jumpy ass and accidently stumbles leon into the fires cuz ur lapping her clit so damn good, her fucking vision fogs up sm she can't tell the difference between the boss' silhouette and the literal wall. mouth gaped open, jaw tightening to the point she's gotta bite down on her lip in ecstasy. she'd deny the fact its stripping her focus while rutting her drippy serum slit into your mouth and undulating her hips in fluid motions. cursing at the screen, "fuck you bitchhh- hnnn.." but you can't differentiate the curses of rage and curses of pleasure. bahhhh 🥴 loser!ellie wouldn't know what to do with all that tho she'd literally just pause the game and watch you work your magic, planting two feet on your shoulders and panting. all reddened up. ☆ 🦢
⋆.ೃ;⚠️and when ur not around, the muted reflections of the screen casting on her skin, stuffing a pillow between her thighs and rocking her hips into the seam while she wishes you were there. fantasizing. then muttering, "fuck am i doing.." conflicting the fact it felt really good. it feels too damn good, too damn wet, r.i.p those boxer shorts + the pillow. HIGHLY loser!ellie. 🦢
MASTERLIST + more loser!ellie
