(Diesel stuff (not Canon btw!) because I'm definitely normal about a black rectangle on wheels)

Unfortunately for Diesel, who tries to have a rough and malicious exterior, he absolutely has a soft spot for small and cute things (aka the old jerk with a soft spot trope, my weakness👌)

In the television series, he especially loves ducklings but my version of Diesel LOVES kittens (and weasels) instead.

Compared to steamies, Diesels sometimes have a more closer and smaller group of friends/family. Due to Diesels being a little more introverted

Usually means Diesel is more open to some of the diesel works engines than anybody else (Paxton, Sydney, Dart, Den- ETC.)

Diesel and Philip have that big, grumpy brother and his annoying little brother vibes. Though Diesel definitely teaches some tricks and stuff (not the greatest role model...) especially that one time to get back at James

Traumatic stuff happens/has happened to him (because I always like to put my comfort characters through immense pain and angst)

Diesel is sensitive to bright lights and only has Christmas/fairy lights in his room because of it

He has a white kitten named Camellia

Despite trying to keep his "Devious" personality; Boco, Edward, hiro, and Sir Topham Hatt are actively and slowly breaking him down to where he's starting to at least become bearable for the others on the railway

Diesels and Duck's rivalry is still ongoing, but now, there's also another rivalry with James and Henry (but especially James, oh my gosh. All of the times stuff has happened because of those two)
