Okay, people may not like Five and Lila as a couple, I get it… but what I find absolutely hilarious are posts like "oh, look what they took from us" about Lila… or "Five from S1-S3 will always be a famouse" and I'm like wtf!? 🤣

Why do these people like Five or Lila? Because he's an old man in a young body who can kill a room full of people in a few minutes? Or because Lila is a sexy rebel who does messy things? Nothing deeper?

Did we watch the same show? Cause I have a feeling we didn't.

Five never wanted to be an assassin, yes, he wanted to save his family, he wanted to save the world from the apocalypse (but that doesn't mean it was a hobby he actually enjoyed doing, he just had to) - it does not make up his whole personality. Have you noticed how frustrated he is and how he wants to be at peace and finally get some rest? No? It wasn't interesting enough, was it? The guy lived one huge trauma, the fact that he was sarcastic and obnoxious most of the time might have been "funny" but it's actually rather sad that he spent most of his life training for the UA, then was alone for forty years and then had to become a killer. Haha, he must have enjoyed life, huh?

And Lila had been under the influence of the Handler for most of her life, and in fact you could see that she was afraid of her. She herself said she was a coward, she was afraid of telling the truth, which would make her weaker, she was the one who wanted the family she didn't have (and yes, all of this was back in season three). So why are some people so shocked about S4 Lila? Among other things: you don't think a woman changes in any way after 13 years? Or did you expect her to act like a crazy teenager at 40+? Or what exactly did you expect her to do?

I think Lila could have easily been childless, but then I don't think she and Diego would have been a couple at all after a six years. Because they got back together mostly because she was pregnant. Other than that, their relationship was just based on deception and their physical attraction. Well, unfortunately, that's not something you can build a long-term relationship on in real life.

Just because some people don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't make sense.

But I understand, here most people don't care about the realism of real life, where people change their attitudes, where there is a dysfunctional relationship, where the characters want a real life… just fun and nothing deeper… okay...

I had one darker idea when I was thinking up the Survival story, but I didn't use it and went a different way. On the other hand, I think it could be an interesting alternate version of the story. Especially for those who prefer something more angsty and dramatic.
