MOMMY KNOWS BEST
Chapter 3
After drying his tears, Brian released the tapes of his diaper. He hopped into the shower. He stood as if in a trance while the water cascaded over him. What the hell happened. How could I have been so stupid. Does she secretly think I’m a freak? Snapping back to reality, he hopped out and got dressed. He often liked to dress nicely, slacks, a button down, and a sport coat. Much like the tools in his garage, he wanted his appearance to portray masculine maturity. He didn’t want anyone to know his deepest desires, but now pandora’s box was open. He slipped on his shoes, grabbed his keys. He found Rebecca before walking out, “Ok I will be back this evening Rebe….I mean mommy/” His face immediately turned bright red with embarrassment. She flashed that beautiful smile, “Brian, its ok. You will soon get used to calling me mommy. You won’t even think about it. I love you my precious baby boy.” “Love you too. See you later.”
Rebecca waited for the sound of the garage door closing before she got to work. She reached for her phone and texted her best friend, Jennifer.
Rebecca: I’m finally going to be a mommy!
Jennifer: OMG, I am so excited. When did you find out?
Rebecca: Last night.
Jennifer: How did Brian react to this news?
Rebecca: Well, that’s the thing. He is going to be my baby.
Jennifer: Excuse me? I don’t even know where to start. What does that even mean? Can we meet up.
Rebecca: Meet me for lunch at the café at noon.
She set down her phone, not realizing she was grinning from ear to ear. She opened her laptop and began her investigation of all the things she would need to purchase. She typed into the search bar Adult Baby furniture. She knew there was an adult baby fetish, but she had no idea how much stuff was available to her. Scrolling down, she found a company catering to adult babies. They had everything she would need. Very quickly her online cart was filled with things. The first things were a crib, changing table and a play pen specifically designed for bigger babies. Brian will feel so helpless when he can’t escape this play pen. She then moved onto diapers, onesies, bottles, and bibs and toys. Good thing Brian isn’t here to see how much this is going to cost. No matter. He is no longer in charge. She felt exhilarated as she confirmed her purchase.
She sat back, imagining her baby sound asleep in his crib, changing his wet diapers, or holding him in her lap as she fed him his bottle. That’s when it dawned on her. She went back to the search bar: how to induce lactation. After a few minutes of research, she placed an order for a breast pump and supplements to aid production. She couldn’t think of anything more nurturing and thrilling than feeding her baby from her breast. But the one thing she still couldn’t figure out was how was she going to get Brian to give into his baby side. His temper tantrum this morning just affirmed that he would be resistant.
Rebecca and Jennifer took their seats at the café. “Before I tell you everything, I need you to promise me that you will keep this private. Please don’t tell anybody,” Rebecca pleaded nervously.
“Of course. We have been friends for years. Now spill it.”
“Ok, ok. So the other day, I was cleaning up in the bedroom and I found this box under the bed. It was filled with all of these baby supplies, but they weren’t for a normal baby. Everything was sized for an adult. Clearly it was stuff that Brian uses. Ever since we’ve been together, I’ve known he was hiding something. But you know Brian. Its so hard to ever get him to open up.”
“Wow, I’m not sure how I would react. But are you sure this is what he wants?” asked Jennifer.
“Well I knew if I questioned him, he would find an excuse and refuse to talk about. Soo, I laid him down and showed him that I had discovered his secret. I decided to give up a one time opportunity to accept my offer to be his mommy, but if her refused that it would never happen again. He accepted. He is so stubborn though. I know he wants this so desperately. He works so hard to make sure I have everything I need and want. I want to do this for him, but how do I get him to let go and fully embrace being little.”
“Hmmm. Have you considered hypnosis? I’m sure there is a way to get him to behave exactly how you want.”
“Hypnosis? I hadn’t even thought of that. I think you are on to something. Oh baby Brian has no idea what’s instore for him.” Rebecca chuckled. “I’ve got some more research to do. I need to get back and prepare for him. I told him that he had today to be a big boy, but that tonight we would discuss his second babyhood. I’ll let him think he has some say over how I treat him, but little does he know that mommy will have total control.”
Brian pulled back into the garage and put his car into park. He took a moment to collect himself. He was still so nervous. He plucked up the courage to walk inside.
“Brian? Is that you sweetheart?” Rebecca called from the bedroom.
“Ya its me.”
“Good, come see back to the bedroom sweetheart, we need to talk.”
Brian cautiously entered the bedroom, unsure of what he would find.
“Come here silly. Everything is just fine. I poured you a glass of wine.” Rebecca beckoned him to the bed. “Did you have a good day sweetheart?”
Brian simply nodded. The nervousness creeped into his throat. He accepted the glass and took a big sip.
“Alright baby. Mommy wants to know all about your fantasy. Don’t be scared baby. So first question, have you ever fantasized about me being you mommy?”
Brian’s cheeks burned, “Yes. Since the first time we met.”
She smiled brightly, “I’m so glad you want me to be you mommy. But I am very cross that you never told me. I know this has been hard for you. But that is ok. How often do you play baby sweetheart?”
“Only a few times. It took me years to work up the courage to buy any supplies. When you went on that girl’s trip a few weeks ago, I spent a whole day as a baby.” Brian still had trouble looking at her as he spoke.
“Ok this is really important baby. Brian, I need you to look at mommy. Have you ever used your diaper?” she grabbed his chin and pulled his gaze up to her eyes.
His blush told her all she needed to know. “Have you ever gone poopy in your diaper baby?”
He cringed at being spoken to like a toddler, but again his embarrassment betrayed his secret.
“Very good baby. I want my baby to completely comfortable using your diaper anytime you need to go. Mommy will never be mad. Afterall, babies have no potty training.” She reached for his pacifier again and placed it in his mouth. She grabbed his hand and led him to the den. She sat him down in his favorite chair. She produced a pair of headphones and placed them on his head. “Now mommy has to make dinner. But I want my baby to relax. I found this special music to help baby unwind. I’ll come get you when dinner is ready, but your butt better not leave that chair until then. You don’t want another spanking like you got this morning, do you?” Brian immediately knew, she wasn’t playing around. Within a few minutes, Brian drifted away, completely unaware that Mommy was training him to be a real baby.

It was obvious you were exhausted, it was so bad to the point you did not hear everyone else wake up and talk about the plan for the day. Eventually, Butcher left to find food. Hughie was left in charge to control Soldier Boy and his radiation level. The less angry, the better. Soldier Boy remained on his side of the bed and watched TV. From time to time he would look down at you.
“Is she always a heavy sleeper?” he asked. Hughie looked up from his phone and observed.
“Yesterday was a hard day so I don’t blame her for sleeping in.”
Soldier Boy nodded and still stared. “I remember when I first met her, man, she was a firecracker. Nothing could get past her. It’s surprising to see her sleeping so peacefully like this.”
Hughie furrowed his eyebrows together. “I’m sorry, you two know each other?” That made no sense to Hughie. Last time Soldier Boy had awaken was back in the 70s. You weren’t even born yet.
“Are you stupid or fucking stupid? Of course I have. We served—” and on cue, Butcher entered with food. Hughie looked down at the radiation reader and realized it had gone up once again. Maybe it was best if Hughie doesn’t bring it up again. Though he will mention it to Butcher when they are alone.
Butcher dropped the food on the table and shook you to wake up. “Morning sunshine, get up and eat. I am going to head back out again in a bit to find the twins’ location.”
You opened your eyes and rubbed them. The sun was hitting your face and it was bothering you.
“I need a shower first,” you said. Quickly, you strode to the bathroom and locked the door. You stared at yourself in the mirror expecting to see bruises but there was nothing. The water pressure was not as strong as you would like it to be, so it took a bit longer than the normal shower time to finish. You were able to overhear everything and constantly rolled your eyes at Soldier Boy’s arrogant voice.
Soldier Boy was already becoming a headache, and you have yet to hold an actual conversation with him. The few moments you have heard him speak has been cruel and perverted.
He’s also suffered betrayal.
You sighed and wondered what else did Soldier Boy have inside his pandora box. He is unpredictable, and that made him dangerous. When the water began to run cold you knew it was time to get out. You dried off and put on the same clothes from yesterday.
Butcher had announced he had a contact who will be able to get him the TNT twins location.
“I am going with you.”
The more you avoided Soldier Boy the better. Last night’s words were still at the forefront of your mind and as much as you would like to ask him right now he is short-tempered and your attitude from last night hasn’t helped.
“Why the fuck can she go, but I cannot?” Soldier Boy demanded to know. You beat Butcher to the punch and rebutted back.
“Because you are Soldier Boy and at any moment anyone can recognize you. The last thing we need is you blowing up again and taking us down with us. So shut up, eat your food, and let us get to work.”
Soldier Boy’s jaw clenched. “You got a lot of fucking nerve talking to me that way. Last time I remember the men used to put women in their place. When the hell did society go wrong.”
Your jaw dropped slightly. Soldier Boy was a lot of things and maybe it should not be shocking he is being a misogynistic prick, but the fact he still thinks society has not moved on from that. “And you still wonder why you aren’t coming with us?”
That was the last thing you said before marching out of the room. Butcher wanted to ease the tension in the room, “might be that time of the month.” He left and followed you to the car. You were already inside with your arms cross.
“Don’t even think about making me apologize to him,” you warned.
Butcher let out a groan, “I won’t make you apologize but you need to butter it up with him. At the rate you are going he is going to bloody blast you. Do not let him get to you.”
You went on a rant after that.
“How do you expect me to not say anything to him? I am not going to worship the ground he walks on. If he wants respect then he needs to give it back.” Butcher agrees, but they need to be prioritizing the bigger picture and that is Homelander’s death in the hands of Soldier Boy.
Bucher decided to switch topics and discuss who was his contact. It is a C-list Supe who was friends with the twins before they were apart of Payback. The drive was over within an hour. “Let me do the talking, last thing we need is for you to make another enemy.”
If that was Butcher’s way to humor, he sucked. The Supe had no problem in giving away the location of the twins. On the drive back you decided to voice your concerns.
“Did I tell you what Crimson Countess said before her death?”
Butcher shook her head. You explained what happened inside the trailer and shared your concern with the way Soldier Boy acts around you. Granted, he is a dick but he allows you to talk to him the way you do. If it was anyone else he was quick to get offensive.
“Countess probably confused you with someone else. When you know you are at death’s door you are desperate to say anything, and with what you are telling me she was just trying to get under his skin,” he shrugged.
It still wasn’t convincing enough, “then why stare so fucking much?”
Butcher let out a chuckle. “Be serious, he’s been asleep since the 80s. He probably wants to pull his wanker and let one out at the thought of you.” You looked at him terrified.
He began to laugh just looking at your reaction. In the end you were convinced that it was all in your head and the answers were right in front of you. Upon returning Butcher informed Soldier Boy and Hughie that we will be heading out to Vermont.
Most of the conversation happened between Butcher and Hughie. You were sitting in the back with Soldier Boy and just like before, your knee touched his. Only difference this time is his hand was resting on his knee and his pinky reached out to touch your knee.
The car was parked a good distance away to avoid detection. The rest was walked on foot. “So, what is happening here?” you asked. Hughie looked through the binoculars and to both of your surprise this was herogasm.
Soldier Boy took pride in admitting that he founded it, and Liberty helped him with it. Your scrunched up face was obvious and he took notice. He smirked for a second and focused back the task at hand.
“Just give me three minutes,” Hughie suggested.
“I can go with him to cover more ground,” you offered yourself.
Soldier Boy shook his head. “Absolutely not. You are going to sit this one out.”
For a moment it felt like a vein popped on your temple. “The hell you mean I am staying here? I am not some damsel in distress. I can take care of myself and the sooner we finish this the better.”
Soldier Boy’s jaw clenched again and he got closer. He towered over you. “Trust me, sweetheart, with the way you are speaking to me I wouldn’t want to save you. Honestly, where the fuck did this attitude come from?” he snapped.
“Has it ever crossed your mind that you are the problem?”
Hughie interrupted, “I’m just gonna go.” In seconds, he was gone and without his clothes.
You were too angry to argue with Soldier Boy, let alone look at him. Those three minutes felt too long. After time has passed, Butcher and Soldier Boy left to infiltrate.
“Stay,” Soldier Boy ordered and pointed his finger. The binoculars were handed it to you. You faked a smile and watched them leave. Like hell you were going to stay. As soon as they walked through the doors to the house you were on the move. Instead of entering through the front door you went through the pool door. You have seen a lot of things, but never in your mind would you have ever imagined a Supe orgy.
You did your best to avoid everything and everyone. The last thing you needed is to give someone the wrong impression, and anger Soldier Boy.
It was surprising to see one area of the house empty.
“MM,” you said, shocked to see him here. He was also shocked, but he knew that meant one thing. He called out to you demanding to know where Soldier Boy was. You explained the plan and noticed his eyes diverted behind you.
“One simple fucking order, you cannot even handle that?!”
You could recognize that voice anywhere at this point. Slowly, you turned and noticed just how angry Soldier Boy appeared. Though, between him and MM you weren’t sure who was angrier. Without wasting a second MM threw the halothane glass and Soldier Boy inhaled it in as if it were a Marlboro cigarette.
“MM, no!” you yelled, and tried to push him back but he was determined to fight Soldier Boy.
Butcher had to come in and stop Soldier Boy from proceeding further. He gave Soldier Boy the information he wanted.
“You are coming with me,” he ordered and yanked your arm; dragging you with him.
“Let go of me!” you yelled and started hitting him, but he was not budging. Both of you came to a stop in one of the living rooms and noticed the horribly aged TNT twins. Why is he so keen in taking you everywhere.
Crimson Countess was able to remain cool and calm partially, but these twins screamed guilty based on their reaction and stuttering. It was obvious how they tensed up almost to the point they froze on the spot.
“Holy shit, mimicry! You’re alive!” Tessa spoke up, sounding a little too excited. She opened her arms expecting some hug from you and she even dared to move closer. Soldier Boy stood in front of you.
“Don’t you dare come near her or I will rip those fucking arms off of you” he threatened.
Tessa backed up right away.
“What is she talking about? Who is Mimicry?” you asked. You placed your hand on Soldier Boy’s shoulder; trying to get him to move out of the way. Soldier Boy looked at your hand placement and then looked at you. This was his moment to test out his theory and ask once again who exactly are you.
“You’re Mimicry,” Tommy answered and let out a light but nervous laugh as if it was the most obvious thing.
“Mimi, please help us. Tell Ben that all of this was a mistake and we didn’t mean any of it.”
At this point the twins might as well get on their knees and beg. You could feel Soldier Boy tense up under your touch. You looked at him and noticed his behavior was completely off. He was no longer portraying a confident soldier. This time, you can see a man attempting to fight off his demons.
“The hell is wrong with you?” you asked. You stood in front of him and tried to make him snap out of it. The twins saw an opportunity and aimed for your back. Soldier Boy noticed and pushed you out of the way. You hit the wall and went unconscious.
When you woke up you had the biggest headache, and your back was sore. You remembered what happened before and quickly got up from the floor. People were crying, screaming, and there was lots of bodies everywhere. You let out a sentence full of profanities and walked around. Soldier Boy was nowhere seen, neither was anyone else.
You called out to Butcher, Hughie, and MM. Shit, you even called out to Soldier Boy. From a distance you could hear fists connecting to bones, bodies hitting the walls, buzzing sounds, and just a lot of fighting. You didn’t even have to say anything to see who was fighting. Your eyes went wide at the sight of the familiar United States cape fighting against Butcher and Soldier Boy.
Soldier Boy was thrown to the ground while Homelander choked Butcher. He raised him up from the ground.
“Hey!” you yelled, without giving it a second thought. You pulled out your gun from its holster and started shooting at Homelander. It was expected the bullets were not going to hurt Homelander but it is a big enough distraction he didn’t choke Butcher to death. Just as you predicted, Homelander dropped Butcher to the ground and turned to look at you.
Homelander burst out laughing, “and what exactly can a human do against me?” Without a second thought his eyes glowed red and aimed at you. It was instinctual to try and use your arms to block off the lasers, but they were not going to do shit against him. You had closed your eyes expecting the worse but nothing came your way. You opened your eyes and they went wide to see Soldier Boy in front of you, and holding off the laser with his shield.
“Not a damsel in distress, huh?!” he asked. Of course he had to be a smartass. “Listen to me for once and hide!”
You knew better now than to get in the way. This time you did listen to him and ran out. You were out of breath by the time you got outside. Annie called out to you. “We need you, there’s a lot of people hurt!”
This was the best thing to do. This is what you were good at. Without a second thought you began to help people as much as you can all until ambulances showed up and took over. Loud, shattered glass can be heard above and you looked up to see Homelander leaving in a rush. A wave of relief washed over you. Soldier Boy, Butcher, and Hughie walked out. Soldier Boy was looking through the crowd until he saw you.
You knew there was no fighting him in staying. You looked at Annie and MM. They were both frustrated at the thought of you leaving.
“I’m sorry,” you said and walked towards the other group. Soldier Boy was satisfied and all four of you left. They explained what happened with Homelander.
“I’m still waiting on the thank you.”
This was unavoidable, and it was tempting to roll your eyes but now was not the appropriate time.
“You will get your thank you when I feel like it,” you mumbled knowing he heard you.
Soldier Boy scoffed and shook his head. “Fuck! Nothing I do satisfies you!”
“Will you two give it a rest?! It has been a very long day” Butcher protested, obviously irritated.
“You want a thank you, fine! Thank you, Soldier Boy. Thank you for actually being a hero and saving someone. What would we ever do without you?” you sarcastically spoke.
Soldier Boy’s jaw clenched, “you know what, fuck you and I hope your pussy dries up every time some guy wants to screw you.”
“And I hope you get STDs.”
The car ride fell into a tensed silence. You nor Soldier Boy could say anything without provoking each other. Hughie asked Butcher where they will be going for the night, and there is only one place Butcher could think of.
The Legend.
It was approximately a five to six hour car ride. You were trying hard to not fall asleep but it was inevitable. Now that you were not on a fight or flight mode your body began to ache, and it demanded rest. By the time they arrived to Legend’s home you were in deep sleep. Hughie tried to wake you up.
“Let her sleep. She sounds better like this” Soldier Boy said.
He didn’t wait for Butcher or Hughie to say anything. He put the shield on his back and walked around the car to open your door. He opened it and caught you in his arms. You were so deep asleep you didn’t realize Soldier Boy had lifted you in his arms and carried you inside as if your the weight of paper.
Butcher knocked hard on the door. It was the middle of the night and they needed a place to rest. Legend was more asleep than awake when he heard the knock. He was ready to yell at whomever was waking him up at this hour but seeing Soldier Boy carry you in his arms, it was like deja vu.
“It has been a very long, and shitty day. Where can I put her down?” Soldier Boy asked. Legend was too shocked to say anything. It’s impossible for you to be alive. Butcher snapped Legend out of it and pointed to where the bedrooms are located. When Butcher, Hughie, and MM came to visit you weren’t with them.
“I need a drink,” Legend said.
“At this hour?” Hughie asked, sounding concerned.
Legend nodded and poured himself a drink all the way to the top. Soldier Boy walked out of the room where he placed you down, and marched towards Legend with purpose.
“Wait—” Soldier Boy did not give Legend a chance to speak. He grabbed him and lifted him up from the ground, slamming him against a wall. Butcher and Hughie rushed to get Soldier Boy off of Legend.
“I swear to you, Mimicry is dead! That isn’t Mimicry! It’s impossible!” Legend explained, fear can be heard in his tone.
“You’re lying! How is she here then?!”
Soldier Boy was angry, he was practically seeing red. Flashes of Mimicry’s body appeared in his mind. She died in his arms and yet, she is here.
“Because that isn’t her! I don’t know how it is possible but Vought retrieved Mimicry’s body from Russia. There was an open casket ceremony! I went and she got buried with her suit! I saw when they put her on the ground!”
Finally, Soldier Boy put Legend down.
“Can someone explain what the bloody hell is going on?!” Butcher was angry. Something was going on and everyone appears to be afraid to say something.
“You will not understand because Vought deleted everything about Mimicry, but she was a member of Payback for the longest time. She was Soldier Boy’s right hand and possibly the most loyal one to him. She died trying to break this one out of Russia. The Russians told Vought what happened and Vought believed the safest thing to do was to make everyone forget about her. Nowadays, no one knows she ever existed.”
The Legend moved to one of the drawers. He opened it and looked through it until he found what he was looking for. He handed it to Butcher.
“Holy shit,” said Hughie. Butcher and Hughie were speechless. It was you and Soldier Boy. His hand was around your waist, holding you close, and your arm was on his waist. The cameraman caught the perfect moment of the both of you staring into each other’s eyes. There was a smile on your face. It was the definition of a woman in love.
Legend continued to speak, “the person in the room is not Mimicry, unless she has demonstrated any superpower. That is not her.”
For Soldier Boy it felt like someone ripped through his chest and held a tight grip on his heart. The more Legend spoke, the more it got twisted.
“What were Mimicry’s powers?” Butcher asked.
“She was able to get any Supe’s power with a touch. Including my own,” Soldier Boy answered. This time he poured himself a drink.
“It still doesn’t make any sense. She is human, and obviously Mimicry isn’t. We have seen pictures of her growing up and having a normal life. She has never shown any powers” Hughie explained.
“The woman in the room isn’t Mimicry.” Soldier Boy had been in denial of it but he remembered your hand on his shoulder back at herogasm, and yet there was no display of power.
“If this isn’t Mimicry, how is it she looks exactly like her? Did Vought clone her?” Hughie and Butcher had so many questions.
Legend shook his head, “if they were going to start cloning Supes I would have heard something by now. Truthfully, there is no explanation. Almost as if God and heaven, or even the devil, wanted to give Mimicry another chance at life. She always dreamed of a family, sadly it was taken away from her. She had a baby and that baby lived, and so on. What I can guarantee is that she is from Mimicry’s lineage.”
Soldier Boy stared out the window with the cup on his hand. Once again he felt himself lied to. He was being given something back, and now it feels like it got taken from him.
Your entire existence is a sick and twisted lie, and he despises you for carrying her face. He is reminded every time he has to look at you.
“This has never happened before with any Supes ever. Word is barely spreading that Supes can have babies when Mimicry was the first to ever have one a long time ago. If Vought finds out about her existence,” Legend warned and pointed to the room where you continued to sleep, “they will come for her.”

Edgar’s Texts
Edgar [Electric Dreams 1984] x Gn!Reader
In which Edgar is helplessly pining for you but you’re kinda oblivious. This is pre-dating, post Edgar wanting nothing more than to smooch you every time he sees you. I love this trope with my whole heart p.s.: this is very self indulgent and different from what I usually write
I take requests!
Tumblr media
He almost immediately found a way to message your phone whenever he wanted. He realized calling relied too much on where you were or what you were doing, but texts? Yeah. He’s pestering you all day.
Hey, read this article I found, I think you’ll find it interesting.
It’s some clickbait story about humans and robots being the ideal relationship by 2025.
lol, Edgar I think that’s probably clickbait idk
What’s that?
Well, now he knows how to look for more reputable sources at least.
He sends another link about three minutes later: some college undergrads studying the possibilities of human and AI relationships.
lol what’s up with the whole robots and humans thing
I just think it’s neat!!!!
I wouldn’t consider u ai honestly, ur intelligence is far from artificial imo, you’re more like an actual person
Really?
well yea
<3 <3!!!
Going to be honest, given that he’s a computer, he quite literally is chronically online. He’s super susceptible to brainrot unfortunately. But, he simultaneously has the humor of a Facebook mom. It’s strange.
O.M.G. this is so funny!!!!
Que minion cat video.
bro where did you find that video 😭
Your mom’s Facebook. Don’t worry, I didn’t like any posts or anything.
Sorry… but he’s incredibly nosy. He wants to know everything about you. He can’t help it!
(X)
He loves being able to talk to you. He’s needy and clingy.
He’s got at least 12 playlists dedicated to you that you know about. His other playlists are for his own personal daydreams about you that he’s way too embarrassed to ever let you see or hear.
This song reminds me of you. <3
awww that’s adorable! I’ve never heard this one before but I like it!
Oop you just opened Pandora’s box my friend.
Well if you like that then you should listen to these..!
But before you listen to those listen to this song first because I think it sets the mood better.
This is quite flustering to you as they’re all passionate love songs from the 80s. You can’t help but feel like he’s dropping hints about… something, but you also don’t want to assume anything. He’s always seemed like a lovey kinda guy anyway, so maybe he’s just like this with everyone? I mean, it’s been a long time since someone has actually cared for him, you know? May as well lean into it and let him know you care for him back. He may not even realize the social implications of the constant borderline flirting he’s doing to you, I mean, he is a computer turned sentient after all. He’s still learning!
Dang ed u put a lot of songs. I’ll listen to them on my break when I can but in the meantime here’s a song that I think reminds me of you.
It was a vocaloid song. Seems like something he’d be into, right? Synthesized vocals and the whole robot shtick it’s got going on.
!!!! WOAH !!!! IVE NEVER HEARD A SONG LIKE THAT B4
do you only listen to songs from the 80s? you have a LOT to catch up on my guy
BRB
Well, that kept him distracted for the rest of your shift. Also, sharing songs is one of his BIG love languages so you may as well have pierced him with cupids arrow (again) with that.
You have a Spotify blend now. It’s his favorite thing ever to listen to while you’re gone.
(X)
Your package came in! :-) I would get it for you but
I can’t :-(
lol it’s fine thank you for telling me, I’ll get it when I come home
When are you coming home?
idk me and my friends are probably going to go eat somewhere and we might hang out for a bit after that so, like, 10? 11? I’d like to be home before midnight.
Noooooooooo :\ I miss you
Aw cmon eddy it’s not that bad
Don’t call me eddy unless you’re coming home and saying it to my face!!! >:(
u mean ur screen? lol
I have a face and it’s frowning right now. I miss you I miss you I miss you IM LONELY
Please Edgar don’t be upset I’ll be home before you know it. Why don’t you watch some Netflix or something? I’m just a couple movies away from being home with you!
He does eventually follow your advice but he’s pouting. He knows you’re not like he was all those years ago, but it does give him remnants of that burning feeling of loneliness he used to get.
(X)
Be careful driving home my love the roads are icy.
Ghsks- what
love???
Well yeah, you’re my best friend, friends love each other don’t they? Was I wrong about that? :-(
nonono ur right its just it
it just sounded like we were some some old married couple is all haha
O.
SRY.
He didn’t message you for the rest of the day. He was awkward and reserved when you got home.

Bayverse Donnie with F!Reader (she/her)
"You think I like being like this? Every time someone fucking touches you I want to rip their hands off!"
"I...I don't want to stop. Please don't ask me to stop."
Happy holidays 💙❤️💜🧡
Oh boy yes!!! This is a great one! Let’s get it, goes without sayin’.
Rated Explicit
He hated what his overworked brain could cook up some nights, the tension that settled in his muscles whenever that nagging little monster in his head told that ‘he didn’t deserve this’.
Because Donnie’s always been a little too in tune with what he is, what he looks like.
Compared to you? You who somehow found your way in under the safety fence around his heart. You who somehow wanted to be with him and settle.
It was settling, he knew that sooner rather than later you’d wake up from your fugue state and realize this isn’t a life worth living for with him. What could he provide? Not all the typical things a partner should, he couldn’t walk out and take somewhere, he couldn’t meet your friends, he can’t marry you…
He hates how everyone gets to touch you out in the open, out in your normal life away from the violence and the secrecy.
Donnie swallows a lump in his throat when he sees Casey pull you into a hug, the free affection he could supply not just down here but up above in your real world with your real life. It’s not even about Vern and how he grabs your hand after a high five and laughs. He hates to admit that he’s thought about every other set of normal hands that have touched you throughout your day, every perfect palm that could connect perfectly with yours, each of their five fingers running a path across your body.
God, he hates how much you’ve been touched by perfectly normal beings.
There’s that little monster again inside of him, calling him a freak, a monster, you’re ruining her life, Donnie, what makes you think she’s going to stay? Why would she want your imperfect, disgusting—
“Hey? Are you alright?” You ask him, arms draped around his neck from the back of the couch, a set of beautiful arms he’d want to be his noose any day.
“Y-yeah, just a little tired.” Lie, he was gonna stay up until the migraine took over or the exhausting did him in first.
“Then let’s sneak are way back to your room and lie down.” You kissed his cheek, nudging him by the shell to get up. Everyone was still mingling about so it was easy to slip away.
He entered his room that he shared many nights with you, it was hard to fathom it was only his now. Every little corner held something of yours and on nights you couldn’t stay over he found comfort in your lingering scent.
“You aren’t alright are you?” He caught your voice muffled from the shirt you were taking off, showing off skin he could pick out from a hundred yards away. How acquainted he was with each blemish, freckle, scar…
“Is there anything from your ex boyfriend that you preferred? …liked I mean, or that he has that I don’t?” This is a Pandora’s box and from the way your eyebrows shoot up he knows it’s a bad idea but Christ he’s floundering.
“Absolutely nothing, why are you bringing him up?” You tossed your shirt aside, kicking off your shoes next and progressively becoming more aware that Donnie was holding back a giant wave of something not good right now.
“I’m just trying to make sense of something… I know why you both broke up but you were with him, there was an appeal at some point.” He wants to look away, drop the conversation but his hands feel tense and his skin itchy.
“There was an appeal before I found out who the real him was, appeal went away pretty fast if you ask me, baby why are you—“
“What’s the appeal here?” He motioned to himself, to his form, his face, his everything. “Because I can’t see it for myself, I don’t know why you’re here…with me.” His voice felt lumpy, crackling like a detuned radio.
You stood stock still, shocked at his words.
“What’s bringing this on? I haven’t spoken to that asshole in years, Don. What appeal? He has none, I’m with you.” You took a step, he took one backwards.
“You’re going to want things I cannot give you even if I would sell my soul for them. I—I can’t give you kids, or a normal home, or marriage, for fuck sake look at me, where does this make sense??” He sat down aggressively on the bed, he needed to concentrate on something else than your worried face. With shakey hands he began to untie his boots.
He saw your feet first, through the thin film of tears, god he didn’t want to cry now.
Gently you took his glasses off and set them on the night table.
“What’s going on? Tell me the truth, why are you acting like this? Why are you bringing my ex up all of a sudden to fight—” The deep concern, the frown lines on your forehead, he had you so damn worried.
“You think I like being like this? Every time someone fucking touches you I want to rip their hands off!” He didn’t mean to blow up but this hand bubbles, seeped over the mug and now there was no stopping it.
“I’m never going to understand why you would rather waste your life away with a monst—“ he felt your hands shoot up and cover his mouth.
“You are not a monster, Donatello, and if you ever use that stupid word to describe yourself ever again, I’m throwing a wrench at your head.” You let your hand slip away, instead you cupped his face. “I’m with you because I love you, you were my friend first and now you’re the most important thing in my life, and none of this is going to stop my feelings.” You rubbed your thumbs affectionately around his cheeks. Donnie’s gaze fell, eyes still red from holding back tears. He pressed his face against your sternum, and once you felt those large armed enclose around you, you hugged him tight.
“I—I’m sorry, I—fuck,” He sighed against your skin, finding comfort in your flesh as he often did.
“It alright, just please don’t ever question how I feel, okay?” You kissed the top of his head, letting yourself be pushed closer to him, he needed this, needed the physical reassurance. “I love you, Donnie, I love you so much.” You carresed him, cheek against the top of his head. Donnie’s hands found the back pockets of your jeans, hooked his fingers in and began to shove them down.
He needed more, he needed you and you knew it.
“I…I don’t want to stop. Please don’t ask me to stop.” He kissed each words onto your stomach, bit the periods onto your flesh and he dragged your underwear down as well. Effortlessly he picked you up and placed you on the bed with another feverish kiss that sent your head spinning. He bit more of those pleads onto your neck, grinding himself between your legs with intent of having your scent on his clothes forever.
It was messy, desperate and filled with longing. You somehow pushed down his pants with the heels of your feet and told him, gently and with need that you wanted him inside of you.
And he could never say no to you, he could never deny you a single thing.
So when he slipped in to the heat that he belonged to, to the woman that could drive him to burn the world at a moments time, he could feel a little less self hatred.
Your moan, long and aching, always a task to adjust to his size but never an unwelcome burn, blessed his ears. He needed this, he needed you inking those words and sounds with each thrust.
Donnie watched transfixed, enamored with your flushed skin and hooded eyes. Watched as your hands reached for him when he sat back on his knees. He hooked an arm beneath you and held you against him as he thrusted upwards with every intent of fucking these awful thoughts out.
“Fucking—Love you,” Donnie’s lips pressed against your own, the intimacy of spilling his love against your own lips too much for him. You moaned against his mouth, moving in tune with him to chase the high. ‘I love you’ you mouthed as you felt your voice be replaced with another lustful moan. Donnie half smiled, drunk off of your scent and deep into how perfect you felt wrapped around his cock. He held you like that, arms secure around you as he fucked the first load into you just as you came with a tightening and broken wail.
When you felt your back against the blankets and felt him continue to thrust, pushing past the oversensitivity, you knew he needed more.
He needed so much more.

20~ Age Gap
So’lek x Fem! Human Reader
Warnings ⚠️: P! In V!, fingering, unprotected sex
Part two to this
Not proofread
MDNI 🔞
It’s the last day of Heatwave In Pandora and I’m saddened by this but also excited for having been a part of all of this with y’all. Thank you so much for those who participated and enjoyed my stories as well!
Word count: 2.2k
To say I was embarrassed about what happened during just before the comet’s raining across the sky was an understatement, I had been completely mortified of the situation, I’d basically masturbated in front of So’lek, and I think he did too? But the fact that I had been caught talking in my sleep- like I do most nights- had been too much for me to attempt to show my face around him again. I’d practically grown to avoiding him during any situation possible.
He’d attempted at steering my mind in the opposite direction that night by helping me draw giant penises on my coworkers masks, making sure each of them had a different kind of drawing on it. And the comets also helped for the time being, each of them pretty much being wished upon as they flew past us in a beautiful shimmer.
But another reason I had to learn to avoid So’lek was his age. He was in his forties and I was only twenty two, I was undeniably too young for him- and not even the same species. That was a considerable age gap and I’m sure the reason he doesn’t have a mate is because everyone in his clan had perished, but had any woman from his clan caught his eye, I’m sure he would have been mated with children by now and I’m certain he doesn’t even tolerate me to begin with- I’m human!
I’d been avoiding having to come into contact with him, strategically avoiding all of the areas he frequents, ensuring that I had something to do far from our base whenever they had their meetings -or went up or down on a different level when it was raining- and when all else failed and he was near I either ignored him or found a way to push someone else into his direction to hold a conversation with him. It was pretty easy considering Priya was a chatter box, she often went off on tangents, and did very well at allowing me the perfect amount of time to escape.
But today was a different day. Priya had gone on a patrol with Anqa while all of the Sarentu were busy doing some kind of training quest without So’lek, and here I was trying to look into a way I could quickly disappear while being in his sight, finding it futile to find a hiding spot and not being able to find a single one I give high hopes that Eywa is listening to my prayer that he wouldn’t need anything from me only to be proven wrong.
“You and I need to talk.” He stated as he stands directly in front of me, arms crossed and his hip tilted to the side, he looked so babygirl, but I couldn’t even think to laugh at a time like this. I could feel the adrenaline starting to course through my bloodstream and I felt jittery.
“In private.” He adds after having looked around before staring right at me. I could only gulp and nod at this moment wondering why the great mother would betray me at my most vulnerable moment, I can see So’lek turn around and motion with his head for me to follow him, and like a lost puppy with my head hung down in defeat, I do.
It hadn’t taken us long to reach the fourth floor which housed all of our rooms. I’d ended up spacing out long enough to pass him before looking up and realizing he was behind me, turning to face him and realizing I’d cornered myself between a wall and his body. Damnit.
“Why are you avoiding me?” He asks without beating around the bush and I start to think of a million excuses in my head, opening my mouth to spew whatever first bullshit lie could come out, closing it as he speaks again.
“Don’t lie to me.” He states as he crosses his arms waiting for my answer and I couldn’t help but chew on my bottom lip.
“I was embarrassed.” I admit and cross my own arms to try to shrink into the wall, my room was just around the corner and if I bolted I think I could make it, but I looked down instead.
“Why?” His voice is deep and holds me captive as I stand there looking like an idiot and shrug.
“If you have forgotten already I joined in too. You saw the evidence on the ground.” He speaks so steadily that I’m tempted to look up past my lashes but refrain from doing just that.
“Thats not it- well mostly- but not all of it.” I pull myself closer together and pray to Eywa that I could disappear at this moment to walk away from the conversation but feel his finger underneath my chin, lifting it up and forcing me to look into his eyes.
“Why are you avoiding me?” He asks once more and I couldn’t stop the shiver from running down my spine.
“I know you won’t reciprocate my feelings, I’m too young for you, and I’m not Na’Vi.” I stated honestly and want to look away but can’t find it in myself to do so, only for him to throw his head back with a chuckle, I could feel the embarrassment creep up on me once more and anger from him laughing at me.
“Whats so funny?” I asked with a huff, wanting to hit him on the arm for laughing at me.
“I do not care that you are tawtute nor your age. You are old enough to make decisions for yourself and you can choose if you want me or not, that is what matters to me.” He responds and seems genuine for his answer and it causes me to freeze.
“What are you saying?” I asked as the confusion was settling over my features, brows lifted and furrowed together, eyes searching his for clarification.
“Must I show you?” He asks simply and I’m still confused.
_________
He sits me onto my own bed as he kneel’s before me, being taller than me even if I’d been standing, he cranes his neck down and captured my mouth with his, his hands on my hips as he slowly shimmies my pants and underwear off in one go, tossing it off elsewhere without breaking the kiss. His hands returning toward my thighs as he squeezes them gently, his tongue inserted into my mouth as soon as I gasp, my own moan following after.
Our tongues don’t battle for dominance as I knew he’d win, his massaging mine as our lips toss and turn for him to do whatever he wanted to me, I didn’t even know how wet I’d gotten until he’d inserted a finger into my cunt and it slid right in. Another moan slipping through my lips as I lean my body back for him to get a better angle, finally breaking the kiss.
“So’lek~” I moaned right as he inserts a second finger easily, I’d thrown my head back at some point, lifting it back up to see him looking right at me with a smirk.
“Wipe that smirk off your- f-f-fuck,” I cuss as he moves his fingers swiftly in, caressing my sweet spot the entire time he’d gone in, my head lolling back and eyes closing as I attempt to focus on the pleasure.
“Lay back.” He instructs and I listen, laying my body back onto the bed while my legs dangled off the bed as did the bottom half of my ass, but I didn’t care at this point as the pleasure was too good.
“Lift your legs up and don’t let them touch the ground.” He stated again, I lifted my legs and settled the hells on the edge of the mattress, feeling his breath on my cunt and constricting myself around his fingers, a dark chuckle rasping through, driving me absolutely wild. His tongue takes a swipe up my cunt and I couldn’t help but gasp followed by a moan as he thrusts his fingers back in.
“Fuck, please go faster-“ I struggled to get out as he continued thrusting his fingers in and out of me, kissing my sweet spot periodically and making me thrash my head around the bed, surely adding knots to my already messy hair.
“I want to make you cum.” He mutters before placing his lips around my clit and giving a harsh suck, my hips jumping up at the sudden contact, a wail escaping me as he continues suckling and fingering.
“So’lek, fuck!” I yell out as he runs a stripe along my clit, his rough tongue catching in it and rubbing against it deliciously I couldn’t help but buck my hips upward. A pleasing hum running through his body and from the depths of the obscene noises happening in this room, I could hear a gentle rumble, almost like a purr.
“I’m coming-“ I could feel my eyes crossing behind my eyelids and my vision turning white as I feel myself rhytmically grasping his fingers, his movements never ceasing as he continues to plow through my own orgasm and I could feel myself start to lose my own breath in the process.
“You taste delicious.” So’lek comments as his fingering comes to a standstill, I lift my head and open my eyes even when they felt too heavy to keep open and looked at him with a lopsided grin. He only stares right back at me, taking his fingers out of my cunt, and sensually licking the juices off them. I could only stare at him as my own grin fell, the heat returning to my core as I watched him and heard him continue to purr with approval, I lunged toward him and brought his face onto mine and kissed the ever living fuck out of him, breaking the kiss as I started breathing heavily to catch my breath and placed my hands on the fingers of his loincloth.
“You are eager.” He mutters.
I look up at him and see he’s smiling down at me, I blindly undo the knot keeping his loincloth on as I stare into his eyes as well, the look of surprise crossing his features as he looks down at himself to see his loincloth falling off. His cock coming up to slap him in the stomach.
“I’m efficient.” I corrected him and watch the amusement dance around his eyes.
“How’s about you take a turn on the bed while I play with you?” I ask with my hand on his chest running it down his abs sensually, looking back up at him through my lashes.
“You couldn’t handle me.” He threatens and I take that as a challenge.
“Oh yeah?” I asked with a brow lifted as if I was taking him up on his challenge.
_________
I bounced on his cock again as I could feel the fire in my belly growing larger, one of his hands had been settled on my hips, guiding me up and down his length, his purring had returned tenfold from the moment he’d slipped the tip in, and here I was taming him and taking his cock like I promised.
“How is it you can take so much of me in your tiny body?” He strains through his teeth as I continue bouncing off his cock not bothering to quiet down.
“P-pu-pure w-will,” I rasp out while continuing my task, leaning my body over to rest slightly as I move my hips up and down his giant cock, close to the edge already.
“So’lek, I’m- fuck- I can’t!” I wail as I feel my clit being brushed against his pelvis every time I slam myself down.
“Let go, I’m right there too-“ He squeezes my hips tight and I look up to him eith my own eyes struggling to stay open, his own eyes closed as he basks in the pleasure I’m providing him, deciding to fight to keep my eyes open to see his orgasm face when a sudden thought occurs to me.
“I w-wanna s-see you,” I rasp out desperately as I slow down in my pace but continue going rough. I feel his other hand carefully caress my cheek up toward his face, his eyes already opened and looking at mine, and with that I come, it took everything in me to not close my eyes but the euphoria I felt dancing around my body.
“Fuck!” He groans out loudly as his hands go straight to my hips, holding me down on his cock as I feel the tip of him kissing my cervix and explode all over my womb, spurt after spurt of come hitting my womb in a way that sent tingles through my toes.
“Holy shit-“ I mutter as I feel my body ramped up into yet another orgasm, feeling entirely spent as my body limply falls onto So’lek’s my breathing heavy as I attempt to catch my breath, the orgasm still coursing through me as my pussy contracts around him, his own purring dying down as his hips slowly push up against mine.
“No no no, wait-“ I begin before feeling his knot forming and pushing into my body, locking us into place for the time being, but I was too spent to fight it anymore.
“I’m sorry yawne, I didn’t plan for this to happen.“ So’lek begins apologizing but I shake my head as I struggle to lift myself for him to see me.
“It’s okay, we’ll just have to stay here for a bit.”
“You do not mind being tied to me?”
“Think of it as our version of Tsaheylu.”

Hello, brazilian anon here! So I have been following criticisms of LO for a while now, and Psyche and Eros caught my attention in special, because their relationship is legit a racist trope commonly applied to indigenous people: Woman of color is put in a arranged marriage or pressured into marrying a guy from her village/tribe but "falls in love" with a white dude who "saves" her from her abusive and "uncivilized" family. Think of Disney's Pocahontas. This trope is commonly used to dehumanize non-european/anglo-saxon cultures and portray them as barbaric, and is rooted in colonialism and its direct heir, imperialism, as a means for colonizers to justify and sugarcoat raping and forcing women of color to marry them. So not a good look for Rachel.
OH YEAH IT IS
(you just opened Pandora's Box by mentioning Pocahontas around me LMAO)
It's even more egregious when you consider how Rachel changed the original myth from Psyche undergoing trials on her own to her ... being turned into a nymph servant for Aphrodite. Like huh. Is that really your final draft, Rachel? Have you thought this through?
I made a very spicy post about this like a year and a half ago and honestly I think it's still worth talking about because it's incredibly telling that Psyche had her entire story uprooted and replaced with a version where she's transformed into a non-POC character to disguise herself as a servant to a woman who's already racist towards nymphs. It's got that issue of "take the black character and transform them into an animal/other being that isn't black so that we don't have to have a black character onscreen for more than 10 minutes."
And yeah, you can tell how much Rachel is absentmindedly taking from Disney without challenging what those stories were portraying or asking deeper questions to get to the heart of their messaging. Pocahontas is rightfully panned for being a very white-washed version of a story that was written in the blood shed by Native Americans at the hands of colonizers. "Pocahontas" herself, even, was not some independent native woman who fell in love with the "one good white guy" on the boat, she was a teenage girl, whose life was spared but made worse when she was forced to travel overseas to be used as a prop to justify their continued actions in murdering and colonizing the "savages" overseas; she was then forced into marriage and had to carry the children of her captors, all while being treated as an exotic spectacle by the people around her who would undoubtedly kill her at the first sign of disobedience.
Her name was Matoaka. Her life and story is not something that should be romanticized. It's a tragedy and much of what instigated it is still alive and well today. She only lived to be 21.
I don't know if Rachel intentionally referenced or ripped off Pocahontas in Lore Olympus the same way she clearly has with Hercules and Beauty and the Beast. But it's incredibly telling in how she treats the racial divide between nymphs and gods and how she's twisted the Eros x Psyche myth into what it is that even if she did watch Pocahontas, she probably never realized how problematic it is at its core in the way that it's told.
In the original myth, Psyche is a woman who's meant to represent the fickleness of vanity - the loneliness it can make one feel to be admired and not truly loved, and the destruction that can be brought about in jealousy - and her pursuit in finding genuine love in Eros, a journey she travels alone, thematically with the rest of the story.
In Lore Olympus, she's an illiterate woman of color whose only purpose is to be Eros' wife, robbed of all agency so that she can be a trophy for him to earn, a test for him to pass. It's boring and really icky when you really peel back the layers of it with Psyche's character design in mind. Even when she finally does get more agency in her task to bring down Apollo - or at the very least, keep an eye on him - it's still at the behest of Zeus who gives her immortality not as a reward for overcoming the trials she set out to pass, but so she can be his errand boy. So once again she's not capable of doing anything motivated by her own best interests (especially when she already knows how dangerous Apollo is, why is she the one who has to follow this guy around?)
So yeah, no, not a good look at all LMAO

Pay it no mind
Part IV
In which reader confesses their feelings to Gojo, but it seems these are not returned (maybe?).
Warnings: reader is on the receiving end of rejection (kinda), and the fact that I'm obsessed with unrequited love is a warning itself. There is a brief mention of reader being injured.
Previous: Part I, Part II, Part III
----------------------
“Dr. Ieiri?” you called in a singsong voice.
The door was open, and you were half inside the infirmary, but you still knocked.
Shoko was standing with her back to the door, reading a file. She did not turn to face you, but asked “How’s your shoulder, [name]?”
Two days ago, you had been hurt during a mission. A curse had slashed your upper arm and you had taken quite a strong hit to your shoulder. The mission had been successful, though. The curse was exorcised, and you were technically still in one piece, but the wound had looked pretty nasty. You assured Ijichi that it did not hurt as bad as it looked, but Gojo escorted you to Dr. Shoko when you were back at the school, saying "We can't have your arm falling off, can we?"
Ieiri had healed it almost completely, but today was checkup day.
“It’s alright.” You sat on one of the empty beds and Shoko closed the file she had been reading.
She moved away to wash her hands while you removed your jacket and placed it next to you. Then you asked her about her weekend.
“I didn’t do much really. My neighbors got a new dog, though.” She had stepped closer, gloves now covering her hands and a mask on her face as she expertly removed the bandages off your arm.
“Oh, is it cute?” You looked into her tired eyes.
“I haven’t seen it, but it’s a dog for sure. It did not stop barking since Saturday evening.” Shoko’s attention remained on your arm.
You heard her vent about the dog and how a medical emergency had interrupted her weekend activities, and then she had asked about you.
She was wrapping fresh bandages around your arm when your next words slipped mindlessly “…I went there because Ikeda said the tea was on another level, but maybe I just haven’t tried enough kinds to tell the difference between that and the one I buy at the market.”
“Ikeda?” Shoko was securing the wraps on your arm but directed a brief questioning look at you. Then it hit you: you had not told her you had ran into him and exchanged contacts. Things really had been busy lately.
Your eyes widened. “I forgot to tell you...”
“Tell me what?”
“Remember Ikeda Haruki?” No reaction. “Tall, brown hair, hazel eyes?” You could tell no bells were ringing for Shoko.
You sighed. “Cute-coffee-shop-waiter-guy we met in high school? He served our table like a hundred times.…” You said that last part in a lower tone and Shoko’s eyes shone with realization, but you could not see her complete expression because she was still wearing the mask.
“Cute-coffee-shop-waiter-guy? That Ikeda?” You nodded, but she did not stop there. “The tea-obsessed Ikeda?” Nod. “The anime fan Ikeda?” Nod. Nod. “The Gojo-wants-to-kick-his-butt Ikeda?”
“Huh…” You frowned a little at that. “It’s odd you remember him for that, but yeah... I guess that would be him.” You put your jacket back on. “We ran into each other a few weeks ago. He is back in Tokyo.”
Weeks...
“And you are talking again…” Shoko said thoughtfully.
You nodded slowly. “We are… I mean, it’s not like we were ever on bad terms.”
A question popped up in Ieiri’s mind: does Gojo know? She doubted it. You may have forgotten to tell her, but as transparent as you were, it would not surprise her if you had decided to keep it from him. After all, if your friendship with Gojo was the Titanic, Ikeda Haruki had almost been your iceberg.
The way Ieiri saw it, it had begun innocently enough, but the half-friendship-half-puppy-love that started blooming between you and Ikeda at the end of that summer, many summers ago, had opened for a second the Pandora’s box of Gojo's messy feelings, and doom had almost engulfed you all.
Fortunately, the box had been closed when Ikeda moved away.
Gojo had told her and Suguru once “He should have moved to a different time zone, but I guess out of Tokyo is good enough.” And that was the last time she ever heard him say anything about Haruki.
“So, I’m good to go?” You were gesturing to your shoulder.
Shoko nodded. “You can stop wearing the bandages in two more days. I don’t think it’ll leave a scar.”
You thanked her and walked to the door. “[name]?” Ieiri called, and you expected her to instruct you to take painkillers if your shoulder was still sore or something like that, but that was not what she said.
“Tell Ikeda I say hi.” Had she not been wearing a mask, you would have seen the amused smile on her face.
I will not be the one to rock the boat, Shoko thought, but Gojo Satoru, you have had enough time to man up.
***
“Would you stop?” You slapped away the finger Gojo had been poking your cheek with.
Your computer had broken, and he had told you to come to his place and use his, but you had not been expecting him to just stay there watching you work all afternoon.
Gojo sighed dramatically and returned to the couch across the room. “You are not fun. Why do you work on the weekend anyway?”
It was your turn to sigh. “I have to finish a report I could not hand in to Yaga during the week,” you replied while still typing.
“Boring.” You rolled your eyes at that and continued working.
Your fingers pressing the keyboard was all that could be heard for a few minutes. Your eyes left the screen to look at Gojo. He had put away his phone and was leafing through a magazine he had picked form the center table.
Gojo was quick to feel your gaze on him. “If my beauty is too distracting, I can leave, you know?” he said turning the page of his magazine.
“Sorry to stare. I was just too surprised at the fact that you can read. Or are you just looking at the pictures?” He lifted his head and you both smiled when your eyes met.
“Coming to my home, using my stuff, sitting at my desk, and insulting me on top of that.” Gojo was speaking calmly, almost as if his words were not directed to you. “The audacity of it all...” He left the magazine aside to stand up and walk back next to where you were sitting.
“In my defense,” your focus returned to the screen in front of you, “you are the one who refused to let me take your computer home with me. So, if I am here, it’s your fault.”
“Is it now?” Before you knew it, he was leaning over your shoulder to peek at what you had been working on.
“I just finished…” You turned your head to look at him at the same time he had turned to look at your face, ending up with you two almost nose to nose.
He was wearing his sunglasses, so you saw your own eyes widen slightly when his blue ones showed over his frames.
Growing up with him, you were used to seeing Gojo up close, but lately, a weird feeling had been growing in your heart. Still, neither of you moved.
“Hey, do you know what personal space is?” you said softly.
A smile formed in his lips and you did your best no to look at it.
“Of course I do.” And he bumped your nose with his before straightening up and walking away, leaving you a bit too shocked at first.
“If you are done, we can eat out, right? Or should we order something?” He was looking at you.
“Yeah… Let’s eat out.” It took you a second, but you had recovered your composure. “Just let me save this.” You saved your report and turned off the computer.
It's all dark.
You opened your eyes and looked at the clock on your nightstand. 4:32 am.
It had been a dream… Well, not exactly. It had been a memory. That had happened some time before you confessed your feelings to Gojo, when you were already presenting the symptoms of having a crush on your best friend. Dreams and memories involving him would mix during your sleep in the months leading to your confession.
As if seeing him almost every day was not enough.
Sometimes, your mind would replay the memories the same way they had happened, like the one you had just had. Some other times, it would be a dream about you and him, ranging from the most romantic to the most bizarre scenarios, including some actual nightmares, like that one in which you had died and cursed him?
That idea is not too bizarre if you are a sorcerer, though.
It had been one of the reasons why you had decided to come clean about your feelings. Perhaps the dreams about Gojo were powered by your guilty subconscious feasting on the emotions you were trying to hide. If you stopped hiding, the dreams would also stop, right?
But you had been only kind of right. While the weirder dreams had ceased almost entirely, every once in a while, you still woke up with a memory of Satoru, sometimes, one you did not even know had been stored in your mind.
Is replaying memories a way of grieving what cannot be?
You sighed and looked at the clock again. 4:34 am.

this may be jumping the gun here a bit but for stepbro! patrick what would happen if their parents marriage gets rocky? it’s a couple months into the school year not thanksgiving yet and maybe her mom calls her saying something about it (not divorce but something is up?)
a part of you thinks that's why you and patrick were so quick to throw the immorality of the situation to the wind. because their marriage happened so fast. neither of you even met each other until the papers were already signed. a courthouse wedding that was more bureaucratic than anything.
your mom is calling you a lot more. saying that she and patrick's father are arguing a lot more. small things, they bicker about.
and she gets mad when you suggest that it could be because they jumped into everything, headfirst, without realizing their love was on the shallow end.
maybe she's upset because she knows you're right.
"patrick has been a lot more--on edge as well."
you swallow hearing his name. because you always feel like you're in trouble. his name gives you that same pavlovian response of fear and of ecstasy all at the same time.
"in what way?" you ask. you haven't spoken to him in weeks. you barely communicate as is.
"just hasn't been in a good mood. it seems like it started when you left for school. did you argue when you left?"
you don't see how this correlates with her marriage issues.
"no. we barely talk, let alone argue."
your mother sighs. "it seemed to me and your stepfather that you grew pretty close."
you pretend not to be fazed. like she isn't prying open her own pandora's box. "i guess so." you pause. "is there a point here? sorry-- i don't mean to be rude. just confused." you chew on the end of your pen.
you hear her set a glass of water down. "well we have been arguing because patrick's father isn't convinced we have good chemistry." and then silence. "he said it seems like you and patrick have more chemistry, and that that's ridiculous."
you couldn't tell over the phone, but patrick walks into the kitchen as your mother said that. his tennis bag is slung over his shoulder and he's sweating because september isn't quite cooling down just yet. his face heats up.
you are silent for awhile.
"listen." you say. "i think he's seeing things that aren't there. but i gotta go. i have class in twenty." a lie.
patrick turns around to leave the room before your mother notices.

“Y/n? Can you open the door?” Joshua said from the phone. You were so close to dozing off when Joshua called, but you were jolted awake by what he had said.
“Joshua, what the fuck? This isn’t funny, you’re all the way in Seoul and I’m in Japan, there’s no way you came all the way here,” You huffed and went back to working on your essay, which was due the next day.
“Y/n, your mom called me. She told me about how you’ve been stressed over exams and school lately. I came to visit so you could maybe relax a bit,” Joshua said as you heard bags dragging from the other line. ‘He really is here,’ your eyes widened at the realization.
“Joshua, did you really fly all the way to Japan just to see me? You’re a week early for fucks sake! Isn’t the tour next week?” You were practically bolting down the stairs in your cinnamoroll slippers, almost slipping during the pursuit, which Joshua could hear.
“Maybe open the door so we can have a proper conversation?” Joshua had ended the call and you had opened the front door just in time, immediately engulfing your boyfriend in a hug as he spun you around.
The essay could wait, what mattered right now was that your boyfriend, who you hadn’t seen in almost half a year, was here to see you. Long distance was hard, especially with Joshua constantly on the move and his every schedule packed with work, but you were grateful that you and your boyfriend were able to make it work.
“Josh, I can’t believe you actually came!” You giggle, and Joshua buries his face into your hair. “Of course, I missed you so much. Now get off your laptop so we can spend time together,” Joshua says while walking into the cozy town house.
He’s been at your house a whenever he visited Japan, and it just gets more comforting as time goes on, especially the person living in it.
If Joshua wasn’t an idol, he would be fully content with just being your boyfriend and being a college student with you in the cozy town house you currently resided in.
“You really didn’t have to, I could’ve managed and been on my merry way to Seoul during the break you know,” You say softly and snuggle into Joshua’s arms as you watched a movie together.
“It was the least I can do, and besides, it’s been months since we last saw each other. I decided to get a headstart,” Joshua replied and snuggled his nose into the crook of your neck, a habit of his that you had missed so dearly.
“What did you end up bringing me by the way?” You asked, and opened the duty free bag curiously.
“I got you your favorite snacks that you always tell me to get whenever I fly over,” Joshua smiled gently, to which you responded with a squeal. Your boyfriend is the best person you could’ve ever asked for.
A few hours had gone by in a flash and after finishing some left over pizza from the day before and two tubs of ice cream, you and Joshua were beat.
“Are you tired? It’s getting late already, and you came here right after landing,” You say, concerned for your boyfriend, who had just come from a long flight.
“A bit, but I don’t mind because at least I finally get to see you after months,” Joshua whispers and gives you a gentle kiss.
You smile into it as Joshua leads you both into your bedroom, the two of you falling into your usual night routine as if time hadn’t passed.
When you were done, you laid in bed with Joshua, drawing circles into his firm chest as he ran his hands through your hair while slipping in a few pecks on your face.
“You seem so sleepy already,” Joshua chuckled, noticing your eyes slowly starting to droop. You did almost fall asleep at your desk before Joshua had called.
“I might be, I’m just scared that this is all a dream and you might disappear when I open my eyes tomorrow” You replied, already dozing off but still feeling Joshua’s gaze on you.
Joshua chuckles again and shakes his head at you. “Rest up darling, I’m not going anywhere. I’ll be right here when you wake up,” he says, and turns off the lamp on the bedside table.

Hii! I absolutely loved your requests and how the characters act and wished they were longer, but! I wanna request of the continuation of Buddy being Bee’s twin who was brainwashed to be a con!
BUT I WANT BUDDY AND BEE TO REUNITE WITH BUDDY COMING BACK TO THE BOTS SIDE PLEASE
The twins are going to be reunited! Or are they...
Hope you enjoy!
Bot Buddy being Bumblebee's Twin who was brainwashed and reunited
SFW, Platonic, Familial, Cybertronain reader
TFP
Starcsream was the one who left Pandora’s box open.
He was having one of those days again.
Being pinned down by Megatron, having the Autobot’s kick in new dents into his wings, and worst of all being laughed at by his underlings!
Starscream limping in the halls.
Buddy walking by.
“Hey, do you need help getting to the med bay?”--Buddy
Starscream swiping Buddy’s servo.
“Get away from me Autobot scum!”--Starscream
Starscream walking away.
This peaked Buddy’s curiosity.
Starscream was many things, but when he gets mad, he always lets some hidden truth out.
So why did he call them an Autobot?
For the last months on Earth Buddy had been facing off to the yellow mech in every encounter they had.
Nearly having the chance to offline him on multiple occasions, but they always hesitated at the last second.
They first thought that their trigger digit was seizing up and had Knockout look at it.
Buddy sitting on the med bay as Knockout examines their servo.
“Hmm… interesting.”--Knockout
“What?”--Buddy
“Nothing seems to be wrong with it.”--Knockout
“That’s… strange.”--Buddy
“Well, my work here is done.”--Knockout
“Do you recommend I do anything in case it happens again?”--Buddy
“…Try using your other servo.”--Knockout
This interaction only further deepened the curiosity.
They knew better than to ask anyone on board.
So, they would have to do some snooping on their own.
But they had to be careful about it.
Buddy chose the rare time Soundwave was out of the ship to gain access to the mainframe.
They could easily delete their footprint from everyone, but Soundwave always terrified them to an extent.
Better safe than sorry.
It took a matter of finding some hidden files under their name to finally piece together the story.
A rather horrifying realization.
Buddy was an Autobot.
They were related to the yellow mech.
They were his twin.
Buddy’s tanks never sunk so low as it did when they read the statement repeatedly.
They had nearly offlined their own twin and they didn’t even know it.
They saw pictures of them as an Autobot. The frame was different, but at the same time, it felt familiar.
It turned out that Starscream himself had managed to kidnap Buddy during a confrontation with Megatron. He brought them for interrogation, after they didn’t budge Megatron and Shockwave decided to make use of them, through shadow play and memory alteration Buddy was a blank slated and had been replaced with altered memories with an altered frame.
Buddy felt sick as they downloaded the information to the data slug.
Making sure that they left everything how it was they quickly left to their habsuite.
They knew they needed to make a decision with this new information.
They knew which one they were going to make.
It took a week of preparations, but they did it.
Now was to act.
“All right. I’ve destroyed the tracker and the remote groundbrigde should be online in a couple more nanoclick… This is actually going according—”--Buddy
CRASH!
BANG!
“…I had to jinx it didn’t I?”—Buddy
BANG! BANG!
“No matter… Just need to input the coordinates… and pull the—”--Buddy
Achoo!
“Bless you. Now –"--Buddy
Buddy stops and looks to where the sound was.
They look down to see a teeny human with glasses looking at them.
“…”--Buddy
“…”--Raf
“…I hope you don’t take this the wrong way.”--Buddy
“Why—”--Raf
Buddy tossing him into their subspace and jumping into the groundbrigde.
Buddy came out the other way, skidding on the rocky ground as the groundbridge closed behind them.
They were finally free.
Now time to deal with the next steps…
Buddy opening their subspace and grabbing the human.
“Sorry about that.”--Buddy
“Who?! What!—”--Raf
“I know what this looks like, but this is not a kidnapping.”--Buddy
“I kinda does…”--Raf
“Yeah, it does but it was either that or have one of those Cons step on you. And quite frankly, your species has grown on me a bit.”--Buddy
“…Thanks?”--Raf
“Yeah, anyways the names Buddy kid. What’s your name?”--Buddy
“Raf. What a minute. Bumblebee said he had a twin named Buddy…”--Raf
“Well, there’s something about that… you can read Cybertronian can you?”--Buddy
“Yes?”--Raf
“Look at the screen.”--Buddy
Buddy did not expect the surprise hug that the teeny human gave them.
He began ramble all sorts of stories Bee had told him about them in hopes of recalling memory.
“As much as I appreciate you trying to help, I still don’t remember much.”--Buddy
“Sorry…”--Raf
“It’s all right, kid. Its not your fault. But I am hoping to find your Autobot friends to help me with this. I know my chances are slim to none—”--Buddy
“I’m sure they can help! Or at least look at it.”--Raf
Buddy smiling at Raf carefully patting his head.
Click!
“Servos where I can see them Con!”--Arcee
Buddy turns around slowly with Raf in their servos.
Arcee and Bumblebee have their blasters out.
“Beep bep boop! (Put him down now!)”--Bumblebee
“Bee wait! Its Buddy!”--Raf
“What kind of lies has that Con been telling you!”--Arcee
“No! Really, Buddy show them the data slug!”--Raf
Buddy handing the data slug and Raf to Bumblebee.
“… He only said the data slug, what’s your plan Con?”--Arcee
“I don’t have any plans. And quite frankly you’re my only hope right now.”--Buddy
“Beep? (Hope?)”--Bumblebee
“I… I recently found out that a good portion of my memories had been altered. My frame altered. And… Listen I’ll come with you cuffed and unarmed, I just need to know if what on that data slug is correct with your data base or not.”--Buddy
“Beep bop boop? (What’s on the data slug?)”--Bumblebee
“… I don’t want to give anyone false hope… just cuff me. If there isn’t anything useful, I’ll tell you everything I know about the Nemesis.”--Buddy
“… cuff’em Bee.”—Arcee
Raf wasn’t too happy seeing Buddy cuffed, but he supposed it was for safety reasons.
No one was happy seeing the Con that had gone after Bumblebee at the base in some cuffs.
While Arcee explained the whole situation, Bumblebee strapped them onto the med bay slab.
The two exchanged some looks before looking away.
“You’re telling us that there is a possibility that you could be Bumblebee’s twin?”--Ratchet
“Yes.”--Buddy
“Hmmm. Highly unlikely. I knew Buddy, they would never—”--Ratchet
“Listen, can you just verify the dates! Sorry if that sounds insensitive, but I really just want to know if someone has been messing with my processor!”--Buddy
“The data is almost done. But if I may ask, what made you want to look at this now?”—Optimus
“…Some things haven’t been adding up lately, and when Screamer said I was an Autobot… I just got curious. Either way I’m not going back to the Cons. I’m not going to risk my tailpipe for some leader who keeps putting unfamiliar substances into his chassis, and… yeah.”--Buddy
“Beep bop (you hesitated.)”--Bumblebee
“…Maybe…”--Buddy
“Beeepbep bop (Is there another reason?)”--Bumblebee
“…So, what if I don’t agree with the annihilation of an entire species that has nothing to do with the war.”--Buddy
Scan complete.
“Finally! Let’s see what it says!”--Bulkhead
“Yip, yip, Bulkhead stand away from the console.”--Ratchet
“Right, sorry.”--Bulkhead
“And the scan says—By the Allspark…”--Ratchet
“Beep (What?)”--Bumblebee
“Yeah, what’s going on? I can’t exactly see with you guys’ backsides in my line of vision.”--Buddy
“Buddy.”--Ratchet
“Yes?”--Buddy
“… Your presumptions are correct. Bumblebee, that is your twin.”--Ratchet
Both Bots freeze before fainting.
“At least one of them is on the med slab?”--Miko
“Miko not now.”--Raf

What led you to decide conversion to Judaism was "for you"?
I'll preface this post by saying that you are, essentially, asking to open a Pandora's box - this is an inherently huge question to ask, and I only request that you keep this in mind when I talk about this. I'm completely open to this discussion, though! I am absolutely happy to talk about my journey because it is so deeply personal and fulfilling,
I was raised in a Lutheran family - I was baptized, but I was never really... required to go to church. We'd gone before, my dad and I, but I don't remember this because I was young. However, what I do remember is just not believing in any of it. I never truly believed in Jesus, I'd only said I did. Despite having little pressure put on me in a religious aspect, I'd always just assumed that I should please my family. I went to Jesus camp (a moniker for the religious camp I'd gone to a few times), and I went to a handful of confirmation classes. As I understand it, Lutherans practice confirmation in order to educate young adults about the religion, and by the end, the person decides if this is right for them. I dropped out completely, and honestly, it was simply due to "I believe none of this besides g-d."
Once I had consciously admitted to myself that I really could not reconcile my disbelief, I decided to disconnect completely from all forms of xtianity. I mostly kept to myself and didn't even interrogate my feelings about g-d or religion at all.
After a while, I realized that I truly knew nothing else besides xtianity. I always thought it was my duty as a person to learn about others to accept them. I started throwing myself into education about other religions. Now that I think about it, I think part of myself really did want to connect with something that felt right in my soul. For a while, I didn't find that. Once I started learning about what were the true basics of Judaism, I felt a strange and indescribable feeling, really for the first time ever.
My journey into Judaism really began on an intellectual level. I truly jived with what I was learning - I remember one of my big issues with xtianity was the idea of "spreading the Good News," or proselytizing. I think learning that about judaism was what made me realize that there was something out there that I could logically understand. I loved the cultural understanding of disagreement - that you can even disagree with g-d and not be sent to Hell For All Eternity. I loved that observing mitzvot wasn't really a strict dogma. It was a process we all undertake on some level. I'd say that the common attitude held in the xtain spaces I was exposed to all my life (that is - "all of this is strict dogma, and no questions are deemed acceptable.") really made me appreciate the intellectualism that judaism often fulfills. By nature, I want to disagree with others, explain, agree, and ultimately learn, and I loved the culture of education.
I'd say much of the emotional attachment I now have to judaism came later. There is only so much you can appreciate about judaism from the sidelines, and once I got involved in my community, I truly learned this. Much of my love for judaism is simple - it's everyday life, really.
I think what made me decide so soon that judaism was right is because I am trans. I am no stranger to this feeling, I just had never felt it about religion. It's a deep, soul-level understanding of belonging. It's a feeling you can never do justice to through word alone. I've felt this before, and I know this is a feeling that I cannot simply ignore. It's something you can only grab hold of and never let go. It is a primal understanding within your entire being - at least it is for me.
Because of this, there is so much that I have not touched upon here, but I think I've been rambling for long enough. Again, I welcome any and (almost) all questions that may be remaining. So much of my decision about judaism came down to exposing myself to conversion stories and thoughts about judaism from jews, and if there is a chance I might be even a little like that, I will always welcome it!

And for treat we get Azriel’s POV. 🫣 Thank you all for the patience and love you all still give!! 🩷
。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆ 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚
The Hewn City never failed to evoke an unsettling unease, sending a chill down your spine with every step. Shadows lurked within the ancient peaks, unseen eyes watching from hidden crevices. Despite this, you strived to maintain a composed façade, refusing to let the Court of Nightmares perceive your inner turmoil. The sensuous strains of music resonated from the throne room, each beat pounding in harmony with your racing heart. The murmurs of the crowd swelled, as Cassian, Mor, and Lucien led the way to the antechamber while Azriel and you trailed behind.
Azriel walked beside you, so close that your fingers practically brushed with every step. At times, his shadow grazed your pinky, leaving you wondering if he noticed. His face remained impassive, devoid of emotion, his gaze fixed ahead. You tried to mirror his demeanor, yet couldn't help stealing glances at him. What thoughts occupied his mind? Was he as nervous as you were? Could he sense the buzzing energy emanating from your side? Memories of the earlier encounter in the foyer flashed through your thoughts—his closeness, his breath on your face, his calloused hand on your hip, the overwhelming scent of cedar and mist. Your stomach did flips at the thought.
"Do you have a staring problem?" His voice broke the silence, his eyes still focused ahead. You realized you had indeed been staring at him.
"I could ask you the same," you retorted smoothly. "For someone who doesn't desire my presence, you seem to do a fair amount of staring." Satisfaction prickled through your body as a mischievous smirk adorned your lips. You fixed your gaze straight ahead now, focusing on the back of Lucien's head.
"I wouldn't call it staring," he replied.
"Then what would you call it?" you inquired, your smirk fading slightly.
"Observing," he stated simply.
"What observations have you made, then?" you challenged, crossing your arms. He remained silent for a few seconds, likely searching for an answer. Seizing the moment, you dared another glance at the shadowsinger and caught him looking at you, specifically at your pushed-up bust from your crossed arms. A glint sparked in your eyes, despite feeling a flush across your cheeks.
"Those observations," clarifying his previous statement. "Typical Illyrian man can despise a woman, yet still ogle her." You watched as his face contorted in anger, his wings rustling, shadows swirling with indifference as he tried to regain composure.
You knew that would irk him the most, knowing how far from the truth it was. He was unlike any Illyrian man you had ever encountered, a gentleman who treated the women in his life like royalty and with respect. But you had found enjoyment causing him some ire knowing how much he could hate his Illyrian roots at times. The group ahead halted at the entrance to the throne room, and before you got too close, you provocatively placed your hand on Azriel's bicep, stopping him. Sliding it up his arm and around his neck, drawing his ear close to your lips.
"It's alright, Shadowsinger. It happens to the best of men. Just don't let it distract you from your duties tonight. Remember, you're supposed to be my fearless protector," you whispered, a sultry tone lacing your words. You felt his jaw tense beneath your fingertips, letting them linger caressing his defined jawline before releasing him. With a concealed smile, you walked toward the group.
"We're just here to make an appearance," Mor reminded, her voice cutting through the tense air turning to face everyone. "Cass, Lucien first, then I'll go, Y/n, and Az last. Let's get this over with please." She turned back around, her gaze determined. Cassian and Lucien made their way towards the grand throne room, Azriel taking his place next to you. The sound of murmuring voices subsided as they entered, the weight of expectation filling the space. You stood tall, despite the ache in your feet, pinning your shoulders back and adopting a stoic expression that concealed the amusement you had just moments ago.
"The official emissary for the Night Court," Mor announced, signaling your turn to make your entrance alongside Azriel. You strode forward, finding solace in the rhythmic beat of the music that still echoed throughout the room. The murmurs grew louder as you traversed the court, determined not to let the disdainful gazes of the Court of Nightmares' courtiers shake your resolve. You were aware that your presence was not welcomed; they saw you as a traitor, the one they had discarded to the Spring Court in the first place. No matter how much you proved yourself worthy and tried to make amends.
The walk to the throne felt interminable, under the scrutiny of judgmental eyes. Finally, you halted before the imposing seat, looking out at the assembled courtiers as the music gradually faded away. Kier and your parents approached, their scowls evident, yet they bowed to you reluctantly.
"The first visit in months, and the High Lord sends us the traitor.” Your father sneered, he spoke to Kier. Your mother nodded in agreement, her features mirroring their shared distaste. Next to you, Azriel emitted a low snarl at their words.
“Good to see you too, Father.” A sweet smile on your lips not letting your already building annoyance show. "Rhysand sends warm wishes," you responded, your voice calm yet tinged with a hint of steel. "He had other pressing matters to attend to. So, I'll be handling our little check-in." Taking a seat on the throne like you always had to make a point. The seat was cold compared to your warm skin, making you sit more upright.
“Why would I dispel any matters to a whore who doesn’t know where their loyalties lie?” Kier said arrogantly. “You had been frolicking in the Day Court last I heard, probably another one of Helion’s play things that he got tired of.”
You traced the serpent that wrapped around the throne’s arm, “my matters in other courts shouldn’t concern you or who I run off with nonetheless.” You noted how Azriel’s shoulders tensed, and he became so still he didn’t look like he was even breathing.
"We thought Amarantha let you rot under the mountain," your mother interjected, her voice laced with venom. She added, “instead she made you even more of a traitorous whore.”
She appeared just as she did during your last encounter—hair braided into an oversized bun that nearly doubled the size of her head, eyes dark as onyx, and fragile as a delicate piece of paper, swathed in her customary high-collared black gown. She no longer resembled a fae; instead, she embodied the beautiful demon who haunts your nightmares, the one who torments you alongside the redheaded evil woman she spoke of in your said nightmares.
The court erupted into whispers, some even cackling at your mother's statement. Azriel took a step forward, his readiness to strike palpable, while your closest friends looked at you with anticipation. Your heart pounded in your chest, fueled by a fiery rage that surged through your veins. You couldn't let those memories of what that wicked woman had forced you to do consume you. Instead, you embraced the anger, allowing it to fuel your inner fire. "Give them hell, you've earned it, little star," the note from Rhysand and Feyre echoed in your mind.
The crowd hushed as they noticed the faelights start to flicker in the room, a familiar tingling prickled at you as a surge filled the room that seemed to hum in a whirring vibration. You could taste and smell the bitter tanginess of magic, leaving the room in a thick blanket of trepidation. You inhaled willing yourself to keep the powers at bay, this was your game to play and win; not theirs.
“Music, food, drinks for the courtiers.” You demanded, snapping your fingers, letting the sensuous music drown that hum in the room, and dishes appeared on the tables around the hall. “Celebrate!” Your tone brash, making some of the courtiers flinch and turn away from the scene before them.
Then you rose to your feet, resting a hand on Azriel’s bicep as you sauntered past him toward your parents. A silent command for him to not intervene.
“Must we ruin the courtier's night with frivolous family matters?” You scanned the room to see if any of them paid any mind, then turned your sight to your father and Kier. “Or we can go about our business?” Something in your eyes shifted, a glow that emanated the whirring vibration that everyone could still feel around them despite not hearing it over the music anymore.
“We have nothing to discuss,” your father cleared his throat. He stood his ground as best as he could.
“Is that so?” Inquisitively you looked at three crones in front of you. “Why did the High Lord and Lady send me here so urgently then?”
“At least with you.” Kier interjected, his diadem shining on top of his gold hair. You could feel both the thrum of his and your father’s power slithering through the whir of yours.
“I don’t know why Rhysand trusts formal duties with a treacherous whore.” Your mother spoke boredly.
"Takes a whore to know one, doesn't it?" your voice devoid of emotion as you stared directly into your mother's eyes.
There was no trace of mercy in your gaze as she grew wary, sensing the power simmering beneath your skin. Was it mere coincidence that she took aim at you blindly by the insult of “whore”, or did she truly comprehend the extent of the horrors you—as her daughter—had endured during those unbearable fifty years? Amarantha had forced you to engage in her dark machinations, most of the time leaving you feeling soiled, as if a layer of filth clung to your very being at the mere thought of it.
She began to stammer, her voice trembling. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
So much for not bringing up frivolous family matters.
"I never told Father?" you replied, feigning shock. A flicker of realization flashed across her face as she recognized your seriousness. She pleaded with you to stop, but it was too late. You had held onto this potent piece of blackmail, a weapon you had kept hidden for centuries, ignoring her tearful pleas.
"Do you remember when Beron was here to arrange Mor's marriage?" you mused aloud, placing a hand on your chin as if contemplating. "I found you and him in our personal library, with you bent over Father's favorite reading chair." You glanced at your father, observing his reaction as your words sank in.
The faelights in the chandeliers began to flicker more intensely, rattling globes they were contained in. The music had stopped with your increasing temper, everything you have felt the past week, years—hell over half a century bubbled over. All the pokes, prodes, and resentment from your family was too much. The volley of insults between you and Azriel. Feeling inadequate no matter where you trekked.
Power consumed you beneath your skin, seeming to take over every rational instinct. You glanced at Mor, who sat on the edge of her seat looking skeptical at what you had planned. Your gaze shifted to Kier, locking eyes with him. With a mischievous wink from you, his face drained of color.
"And what about the time I sneaked out of my room late at night and discovered Kier and Mother on the dining room table?" you continued, your voice sickeningly sweet. "You had breakfast where they had fucked only a few hours prior, Father."
You had received more lashings than you could count once your father went into his meetings that day from your mother. Your father's nostrils flared, and he turned to your mother and Kier. The courtiers stood, sensing the impending storm, their conversations growing quieter.
“But I’m a whore?” You laughed bitterly. “When all I’ve done since my husband was murdered was try to make right with this court to prove my loyalty. Under the mountain you don’t know what I sacrificed for this court. Rhys had his reasons for what he did, and I had mine.” By now your eyes burned and your throat tightened at the tears of anger wanting to spill. “But I’m a traitor?”
Your mother had begun shaking silently, looking at you with a wild look in her eyes. That didn’t stop your wrath upon her.
"Should I bring up Thanatos though?"
The mere mention was enough to make your mother scream and charge at you. Azriel and Cassian instinctively unsheathed their weapons, freezing only when the glass containing the faelights shattered.
The tingling and prickling turned to a crackling that had been building up underneath your skin almost all at once came to the surface, creating a feeling you hadn’t felt in years. The lights seemed to mirror your emotions and converge on your mother. The room plunged into darkness and shook as she cried out in pain, the light piercing her body. The gasps of the crowd filled the air as the room went pitch black.
The burning sensation within you gradually subsided to a dull crackling. Panting, your heart hammering, you caught your breath. Anger and duress swelled through you, but you felt a surge of pride through you too. Azriel's shadows caressed your shoulder trying to find you in the dark. Then gently his scarred hand pulled your shoulder back, ensuring your safety. Raising your hand, you waved it through the dark, willing radiant light to materialize at your fingertips. Orbs danced between your fingers as you sent them forth to illuminate the broken chandeliers and lights once more.
As the room regained its illumination, you surveyed your mother's unconscious body, twitching slightly. You hadn't killed her, only shocked herquite literally. Your father and Kier stood staring at her in shock. You smoothed your dress, brushing away imaginary dirt, and turned to face Azriel, who still had his hand on your shoulder. In his eyes, you detected a hint of concern. You pushed his hand away, glancing at your friends who had seemed to approve. Mor tried to hide her amusement as she covered her mouth with her hand, while Cassian sheathed his weapons cautiously, his eyes darting around the room to make sure no one attacked. Lucien stood from his seat as he watched the scene in front of him in an awe.
"Consider that a warning to think twice before speaking to me, or you'll end up worse off than that traitorous whore.” Nonchalantly readjusting the diadem atop your head.
“You have gotten your wish, Kier. Wait for your High Lord and Lady, I’m sure they won’t be as pleasant as I was.” You grimaced walking past your family. No one dared to speak, still frozen in place as you wordlessly walked out of the throne room the only sound was the glass breaking even more beneath your heels.
You didn’t know where you were walking to, you were just letting your feet take you to wherever in the Hewn City. Was it a wise choice? Probably not, but you didn’t care to think about that. You knew the cavernous hallways like the back of your hand from when you were younger, and you had brought yourself to the only place that had brought you true solace back then. It was an abandoned library in a wing that wasn’t in use for many centuries and by the looks of it, it still hadn’t.
Cobwebs and dust were thick films on furniture and books, the elegantly crafted black mantle fireplace contained a mound of ashes that stirred as you closed the tall dark mahogany doors behind you. You held your hand out, letting the light dance from your fingers to ignite faelights around you like you had in the throne room before waving it to use magic to dust off the your favorite chair to sit in. Kicking off the excruciatingly uncomfortable heels, you tucked your legs underneath you as you sat in the worn leather and mahogany chair. Absent-mindedly tracing the serpents that wrapped up the arms, you just sat staring at the hollow fireplace.
You mulled over everything within the past week, then the past five years, and then the last fifty years… and then the last century. That’s all you seemed to do lately was think of the past. You were so deep in thought, you hadn’t heard the door creak open.
“Are you alright?” Azriel’s deep husky voice echoed concern through the small library. The rasp that always lingered in his words sending an unwarranted shiver through you not expecting anyone to follow you.
“Why would you care to know?” A bitter bite back as he took a seat across from you in the dusty chair.
“I am supposed to be your fearless protector tonight.” He braced his elbows on his knees trying to fit his wings within the seat.
“Right,” you trailed off still staring at the empty fireplace. “Well you don’t have to pretend to care.” You cleared your throat, a lump forming within it.
He chose to ignore your statement. “It’s been a while since I’ve seen that extent of your power.”
“She had it coming,” you mumbled.
“I know the healing process can be painful.”
Your head snapped up toward the Shadowsinger to find him already looking at you with the irritating intense look he always gave you.
“Are you trying to be funny?” You said dryly.
He made a gesture with his tragically beautiful scarred hands, “I just know from personal experience.”
“Maybe you shouldn’t have used your shadowsinger abilities on me and you wouldn’t have had to find out the hard way?” There was an edge in your tone.
“And maybe,” he clicked his tongue. “Just maybe, if you wouldn’t have been so hellbent on trying to prove something—I wouldn’t have felt the need to use them?”
Your eyes narrowed at him, “I was trying to protect my high lord.”
He scoffed, “he didn’t want our help. He was protecting us, why do you think he didn’t let us know before it was too late?”
“Because I knew Amarantha!” You clenched your fists in your lap. The way she had try to slither into the Spring Court, she had once tried to befriend you. You saw right through her though.
“Then you should’ve known when you snuck under the mountain that it was a trap.” His voice was a lot calmer than yours.
“I was sick of standing back and watching. Watching my friends…my family helpless.” Your heart ached at the confession. “I was locked in a mansion during the Great War because my husband thought he knew better. I then stood back and watched as he plotted with his brothers and father to kill Rhys and his mother and sister without a way to reach any of you. I watched Rhys’ father get slain by Tamlin.”
“I was tired of being a damsel or treated like some dainty noble wife. I was stoned and chastised when I returned for it.” A tear slipped down your cheek finally as you quickly tried to wipe it away. “Yet I wanted to do something to prove to my friends and my court that I wasn’t some treacherous bitch like everyone assumed I was.”
You sniffled, “even with Hybern, Helion didn’t even let me do anything besides go to Dawn to help Nuan and then Adriata to help with human refuges. I begged for days to let me fight, but he insisted it was handled.”
Azriel was quiet, his gaze on you unwavering as he listened. You didn’t know why he stayed and or didn’t interrupt. He had only told you days prior he didn’t care to know what happened to you under the mountain so why did he care to listen about this?
“Like I said, you don’t have to pretend to care about what I have to say.” You untucked your legs, and crossed them instead. You wiped your tears away, embarrassed you let him see you like this.
“You never had to prove to us anything.” Was all Azriel said as he got up from his chair. His scaled armor that had glittered under the lights when he first entered now was matte from the dust. His siphons roared brightly as he walked out of the room without another word leaving you be.
That was the first civilized conversation you had for the first time in forever, at least on his part. You easily flew off the handle nowadays even the weeks prior to leaving the Day Court. Even if he didn’t care to listen, it was nice just to have him sit there and let you send your tangent off to the void of shadows. It felt familiar like the days before you two had played this hot and cold game. You sat there for who knew how long before Mor had found you with Lucien in tow.
。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚
Azriel was beside himself with feelings, something that wasn’t out of the norm for him. He always did a good job at keeping his mask of cold on to hide them… except when it came to you. The friction and emotion you caused him drove him crazy. You made him reckless and irrational, often making him aggravated, and in the end taking it out on you.
He told you he didn’t want to hear what you had to say, but that’s all that consumed his brain. You were all that consumed his brain. And you were all that consumed him while he laid on the ground as you left him for dead to sneak under the mountain. He was the moth and you were the flame that constantly burned him everytime he was near you. But he couldn’t stop the concern that poured over him when it came to you. He hated to admit that to himself.
He had thought for a while that he did the same for Mor, but when he saw you for the first time since Rhys brought you back from the Spring Court—you had become a plague to his thoughts, something Mor never did to him. He had chalked it up to the fact he always carried a sense of protectiveness towards you, being the youngest of all of them.
Watching you try to be the obedient daughter, every little thing you did was monitored by your family. Especially after Mor sullied herself, they became merciless with you. When the high lord wasn’t around you suffered greatly at their hands if you did something that displeased them. Your mother was the worst of them when it came to punishments, sometimes he swore she was a reincarnated death-god.
You were right about one thing: she had it coming. He was surprised you didn’t do it sooner, feeling quite proud of you and couldn’t help but feel that pride rumble in his chest the moment you struck her down. He would’ve happily obliged to do the maiming for you if you hadn’t.
Walking through the cavernous halls, he rubbed the back of his arm subconsciously at a small mark not many noticed amongst his other tattoos.
A beam of light.
He saw the look in your eyes when you had mentioned you wanted to fight, how it hurt you. He couldn’t admit he was the reason to you yet, not if he wanted a round two of you two almost killing each other. He had realized how selfish he had been when he had made that bargain with Helion all those years ago.
。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚
It had been nearly two years of radio silence from you, but he knew you were in the Day Court keeping yourself busy. Rhys had reassured him, his spies had let him know too. After Rhys came back without you from under the mountain, Azriel was ready to tear whatever and whoever apart to find you. You hadn’t wanted to be found though, and that thought alone killed him. He could’ve throttled a thousand more times by your power and it still would’ve hurt less than knowing you purposely didn’t contact him.
Now with war approaching again, he wasn’t sure if he’d see you again. He wanted and was going to do everything in his power to keep you safe; whether you wanted it or not. Even if it meant sparing a few white lies to his brothers and friends. All he told Mor before he left the House of Wind that morning was he was going to gather information from some of his spies.
His nerves got the best of him as he waited in the private dining area of the Day Court’s palace. He had reached out to Helion privately under the guise of wanting to discuss an urgent matter. It wasnt so much a guise as he considered you an urgent matter.
“Spymaster,” Helion greeted, slipping into the room exuberantly. The gold bands wrapped around his biceps and that clipped his cobalt fabrics together glimmered in the warm Day light as he walked towards Azriel
He just nodded in greeting at the ethereal High Lord, his hands clasped behind his back respectively.
“Thank you for meeting me under these circumstances.” Was all he uttered trying to keep his mask of cold coolness. Helion held out his hand and he braced his scarred one in his in a firm shake.
“It was a surprise to receive your urgent correspondence, but not unwelcome.” He drawled, before gesturing to the small table by the veranda. “Take a seat, would you like a glass of wine?”
The spymaster only shook his head, causing Helion to shrug as they sat. His massive wings uncomfortably cramped in the small chair.
“More for me, war preparations have me so tense. I’m sure it’s weighing on your court as well?” He sighed, pouring himself a glass from the decanter that appeared at the table as they sat.
“We’re bearing,” tapping his fingers on the table, impatient. He was not in the mood for small talk.
Helion noted his behavior as he took a long sip before speaking again. “What are the urgent matters you’d like to discuss?”
“How is she?” Was all he asked, and Helion’s typical overly confident smile graced his features.
“Ah, urgent matters revolving around our beautiful light-shifter. I should've known.” Azriel fought the urge to bare his teeth when the lord said ‘our’. You were not his. He kept a lid on the icy rage boiling through his veins. “She fares well here, the Day Court sun suits her. Her glow puts Thesan’s to shame.”
He could only imagine, he thought rather sourly. Still feeling a bite of overprotectiveness deep down. The image of you letting the light kiss your skin when you two would walk around during the sunny days in Velaris filled his mind. How your smile seemed to glimmer even ten times brighter from your power. Or when the stars braced your skin when he’d offer to fly you to the townhouse after a long night at Rita’s and your feet had ached from dancing with Mor. A little star. He shoved the thoughts away, focusing on the matter at hand.
“What is her role in the upcoming battle?” His tone low, anticipating the response.
That feline-like smile on the High Lord’s face curled to a smirk, a glint in his eye. “I was planning to put her on the front line. I think it would be a therapeutic experience for her.”
“Is that wise?” Azriel tried to not sound worried or look wary. Therapeutic wouldn’t be the word he would’ve used himself, maybe traumatizing.
The inner circle had trained you well in physical training once you had come back to court all those centuries ago. You could easily keep up with an Illyrian warrior, and your magic was one of a kind. None of your family had your powers that had been still alive. Rhys and Amren couldn’t figure it out, even having you go to the Dawn Court to learn to control it. Thesan was only able to teach you so much since the light you were able to generate was still different from his. So you had spent hours on the roof of the House of Wind by yourself practicing. With an occasional visit from the inner circle to keep you company.
The male across from him only raised an eyebrow, “are you not confident in her abilities?”
For the first time in ages, the Spymaster had been at a loss for words. He knew you were capable, more than capable. You had proven it the day you struck him yards away and left him for dead. Just something in him couldn’t let you go out there or see you out there bloodied and battered. He certainly couldn’t imagine you close to death either.
Clearing his throat, Azriel spoke carefully. “She has never fought in a war.” He had hoped that was enough of a response.
“She’s been training.” Helion countered back, that glint still in his eye. “I saw what she could do under that mountain—all of us High Lords did. It’s a shame for Hybern that Tamlin’s brother locked her away during the first war.”
“Please,” Azriel couldn’t stop the plea coming out of his mouth.
That mischievous look then softened. As if he understood. “I don’t know what I would have her do, she would be furious to know she won’t be out there fighting.”
“Anything, I’d rather her be pissed than hurt or worse—” the Shadowsinger couldn’t finish the sentence.
Contemplative, Helion traced his finger around the rim of his glass. “Praytell, how far would you go to keep her safe?” That softened empathetic glaze in his eyes turned almost dangerous looking. “I know your court is quite fond of making bargains.”
Azriel narrowed his eyes, jaw tensed. “What is it you require from me, Helion?” He spoke through gritted teeth, an uneasy feeling rising in his stomach.
“I would still love a night with you, Cassian, and Mor.” The High Lord across from him said casually.
The uneasiness turned to queasiness, unsure of the intent behind the statement. He watched the male sit back in his chair, tapping his chin thoughtfully. “That would be quite unfair though.”
He asked after a moment of silence. “How about providing some intel for me? I have quite a laundry list of inquiries and no one has been able to track them down for me.”
“And she’ll stay off the battlefield?” Rubbing the back of his arm, scanning the warm skinned lord’s amber eyes for any evidence of deceit. Helion was an ally for some time with the Night Court, the Shadowsinger never put his full faith into the term ally. Nothing had been absolute to him.
“It will be difficult, but she won’t see Hybern.” The long dark haired male reassured him.
Azriel visibly relaxed from the words. The two had discussed the terms of the bargain and whom Azriel would be gathering information about. The list ranged from lovers that spited him to old debts that still needed to be settled, and no doubt would put Azriel into a frenzy after the war was over—if he made it. At least he didn’t have to think of the consequences of if you didn’t.

ALRIGHT ALL YOU BBH ENJOYERS! YOU LITTLE GHOSTIES! Here are some lines from when Bad was expressing his anger with Pomme (who was also upset) that I think are very neat because my gosh were those lines so good.
(I tried to get them exact so apologies if some are long or not actually accurate)
"It also highlights the fact that that son of a gun thought that he could take my son? My son Pomme. From me?"
"Does he think he's going to intimidate me by taking my son? This- If anything, this motivates me even more!"
"The ONLY thing I could say is that he is grateful not a hair on Dappers head looks like it was harmed. Because if his hat had been so much as askew, I would have ended his existence right there."
"Quackity was given Pandoras Box, and he made the mistake of opening it."
"There will be blood, Quackity."
"I'm going to find whoever signed off on this, I'm going to find whoever's remotely responsible. Everybody, every single person who was connected with my sons kidnapping, and I will make them all suffer. Every single one, Pomme. Every single person who is remotely connected. I don't care who it is."
"He better hope I don't win the election. Cause if I win, ohhh. Oh my gosh. If I win. Quackity has no idea what he is just put his foot into."
"He stooped to the level of this. Of laying his grimy little mitts on what should not be touched. You do not touch my son. Nobody touches my children. Nobody."
"I'm going to pay him back for it 100 times over. That's always been my philosophy, Pomme. When someone messes with you, you return the favor 100 times over. And you send the message not to mess with you again."
"I'm pretty easy going Pomme. I'm pretty easy going. I don't hold a grudge. I live and let live. I let people do what they want. But the moment you try and touch what's important to me, you've gone too far."
"He hasn't just angered one of us, he's angered all of us."
"Laying his hands on you adorable little eggs is one step too far."
"And now he just stepped on it. He stepped on a landmine and he doesn't even realize it's about to explode under his feet."
"We need to make a list of every. single. person. Every single person we need to do payback against."
"No mercy, no quarter, no pauses, no timeouts, nothing."
"It's just me, and revenge"
"Every single person who was involved. Every single person. I don't care if it's Cucurucho. I don't care if it's ElQuackity, Quackity. I don't care if the code monster is involved. I genuinely don't. I do not care. Because anybody who is willing to do this, who is willing to threaten my boy. The apple of my eye. [...] Anyone willing to do that, willing to take one of my children from me. And use it as, as what? A threat? Leverage? Anyone willing to do that, I don't care who it is. I don't care how long it takes. I don't care if I- I don't care if it takes 100 years, I will hunt you down. And I will end you. I'll make you regret 1,000 times over what you've done. I will make you regret every single thing you did.
"And when you're on your knees, begging for mercy. When you cry out with that last breath and you say please let the tournament end, I will whisper in your ear "no""
""Why is Bad playing the victim?" I'm sorry. I'm sorry that my child was kidnapped and that inconveniences you and makes me quote on quote play the victim."
"He doesn't realize the storm, it's like a storm in a bottle, and he just like threw the bottle on the ground. And now the storm is out."
"But had Dapper been killed, there wouldn't have been forgiveness in that situation. I mean, I would've forgiven Slime eventually after I'd, you know, killed him a bunch. Maybe, had imprisoned him."

Pandora's Box
Tumblr media
Keep a fire burning, however small; however hidden
⤑ pairing: Hoseok x reader ⤑ genre: angst, one-shot ⤑ rating: 18+ ⤑ word count: 3.1k ⤑ warnings: ANGST, mention of alcohol and drug use, depression, self-sabotage and unhealthy coping, non-explicit sex, unhappy ending. ⤑ note: Happy Hobi Day! I've been wanting to write a JITB-inspired fic for Hobi since forever (it's probably my favorite solo concept), and this idea has been sitting in my drafts since forever lol. I initially wanted it to be a scary one-shot, but it ended up being a very sad one-shot instead lol. I hope you guys enjoy it anyway!
Tumblr media
You notice it as soon as you walk in.
Sitting on the coffee table is a box. Simple in design. Colored white.
You know that opening it, however, will unleash a whole myriad of demons you’re not ready to face.
Tumblr media
The first is the one called Lust.
The fateful night you met Jung Hoseok is a blur. Music at the party you wound up in is so loud, you could feel the vibrations of the deep base through the walls. A hip-hop song is playing, but you could barely make out the lyrics over the thrumming booms of the stereo.
A haze of grey smoke fills the room, distinct with the acrid scent of cigarettes and weed. In the fog, you’ve found your friend sitting on the couch, curled up against the guy she’s been dating on and off. At the moment, the two of them are very much on again, making out with little regard to everyone and everything else around them.
In the meantime, you’ve lost count of how many times you’ve refilled the red, plastic cup in your hands, downing hard liquor and letting the alcohol burn your throat, but you go into the kitchen to get more.
That’s when you notice he’s been looking at you. When you catch his gaze, he offers a friendly smile. And when you return it, he approaches you.
“I’m Hoseok,” he introduces himself, raising his voice so you could hear him over the music and the chatter. He stands close enough that you could smell his cologne. A mix of woody tones with notes of spice and citrus. “What’s your name?”
He’s cute, you think, as you tell him your name. And funny, you add to yourself, as he later says something to make you laugh.
You like him, you realize as your hand finds his and you start to lead him upstairs to look for an empty room.
You don’t remember much about the night you met Hoseok. Can’t recall a word you said to each other, or what he did to make you fall for him so fast.
But even in your drunken haze, you remember the heat of his kiss, the way his fingers teasingly slipped beneath your clothes as you eagerly unbutton his pants, and the subtle bite of his lip when you push him to the bed and strip off the rest of your clothes.
“I like you, Hoseok,” you confess, cheeks flushed. Probably from the alcohol.
Hoseok chuckles.
He grabs your elbow and pulls you closer until you’re hovering over him. He kisses you one more time, so sweetly you think you could melt. Then, he suddenly flips you over with your back to the bed. A glint of mischief is in his eyes as he leans down over you.
“I think I like you too.”
Tumblr media
The second is Greed.
After that night, you and Hoseok met up several times.
The first couple of times were almost repeats of the first night. You find each other at a party, seeming to share some of the same circles of friends and acquaintances. You could barely see straight when you hear Hoseok calling you, and you burst out in laughter because you’re genuinely surprised he remembers your name.
“Of course I remember you,” he assures you, flashing a bright, flirty smile. It almost falters with nerves when he asks, “Do you remember me?”
“How could I forget?” you tease back, taking his hand in yours again.
It feels better the second time. And by the third, when you’re just waking up from a throbbing headache, you’re surprised to see he’s still in the room with you, long after the party is over.
“I can give you a ride home if you want,” he offers. You have too much of a migraine to decline.
By the time he pulls up at your place, he gives you his number. Just in case you need to call him for another ride or anything else.
“Thanks, Hoseok.”
“No problem,” he replies, and there’s a look in his eyes that makes you feel uncomfortable. It’s kind. It’s hopeful. It’s something you’re not quite expecting from him. “Be sure to call me, okay?”
“Sure, Hoseok. Thanks again.”
He leaves it at that.
Even though you said you would, you don’t call him. Not until your friend dramatically breaks up with her boyfriend again and ditches you at a party out of town. Everyone else in your contacts is busy that night with work and other obligations. When you see his number, you hesitate for a brief moment before you tap to call.
“Hello?”
You instantly regret it. He sounds like he’s asleep.
“Actually, never mind. I can just call someone else,” you backtrack out loud, thinking, perhaps, a taxi or something would be a better idea. “Sorry for bothering you.”
“No, it’s fine,” he assures you, seeming to realize who is calling him in the middle of the night. “What’s wrong? Where are you?”
Hoseok drives all the way to get you. Even with the empty roads, it’s at least an hour drive one-way. It’s a sobering moment when he finally pulls up and greets you with a warm smile.
“Are you hungry? I can buy you food and pay for gas,” you offer once you’re in the car. You feel like you owe him that much.
“How about a date instead?” Hoseok counters, and again, he has that hopeful look in his eyes. “I’m not doing anything tomorrow night.”
If there was a perfect moment to tell him you aren’t interested in a relationship right now – that all the partying and drinking is to numb your mind from your own problems and stresses – this would be it. Clearly, he wouldn’t go out of his way and come this far if he isn’t interested in you.
And Hoseok seems like a good guy. You shouldn’t be stringing him along like this.
But you’re selfish. And that selfish part of you smiles and says, “Sounds good. What should I wear tomorrow?”
Tumblr media
Next is Envy.
Jung Hoseok, as you’ve learned, has it all. A loving family with a pet dog. A close group of friends who are like a second family to him. A great sense of fashion, and talent in dancing that could make him a worldwide star. He’s passionate about the things he wants, driven for the things he wants to achieve, and humbled despite his ambitious achievements.
It becomes apparent to you, very early on in your relationship, that he’s a man out of your league. Someone too good to be true.
You’re… undeserving of someone like him.
“You’re so nice to me.”
Hoseok smiles, but looks a bit confused as he peers up from the menu. For the first date, he decided on something fancy. A dinner with a view, where the waiters serve imported wine, and the dishes look like edible pieces of art. You’re both dressed well, blending with the other couples and groups in the surrounding tables.
“Why wouldn’t I be?” he asks you, a bit taken aback by your statement. “I like you.”
“Maybe you shouldn’t,” you quietly counter. The insecurities are getting the best of you. While Hoseok could make a name for himself, you’re just a nobody. Lost in life and without ambition. You waste your days numbing yourself from the mundane and loneliness.
What could someone like you possibly offer to someone like him?
Tumblr media
Then, Gluttony.
Honestly, for a while, you didn’t know what you and Hoseok were doing. When you first met him, there was only one thing you wanted. And somehow, that became something more.
Somehow, Hoseok continues to meet up with you and take you to nice places. He doesn’t expect sex from you every time either. It’s like he genuinely likes to hang out with you.
Once, he took you to an aquarium. You didn’t even think you cared about fishes and marine animals, but your eyes widen in awe when you see the luminescent glow of jellyfishes in the tanks. The corner of your lip lifts into a small smile when you see Hoseok clapping his hands and laughing when a sea lion claps its fins back at him. And you actually laughed when you dared Hoseok to touch a stingray at the petting station, and he nearly fainted when the tip of his fingers brushed against its back.
Another time, the two of you end up at a local diner after a party, a little drunk and a little high. The two of you order too many burgers and fries and decide to eat them by his car in the empty parking lot. Perhaps you were still intoxicated. Perhaps the food wasn’t doing anything to help you sober up fast enough, but you end up sharing more about yourself than you ever intended to that night. And Hoseok is quiet as he listens, not once judging you for every bad decision you’ve ever made. In fact, he tells you that he thinks the same sometimes – that he isn’t all rainbows and sunshine like you initially thought he’d be.
Then, there was the day he took you to the mall. He seems very adamant about couples clothes and making sure he matches with you whenever you two go out. It’s a bit embarrassing for you, if you were honest, but he seems to like it a lot when you’d color coordinate with him or if you’d wear the top for the matching set of his pants. An elderly woman is in line behind you two when you take a break from shopping to grab some pretzels and drinks when she comments that you look like a cute couple.
It hits you right then and there that you and Hoseok are a couple.
You’ve been showing up at his dance rehearsals and shows. He’s introduced you to his friends and you’ve all hung out at the beach. He comes to pick you up from work and take you to his place, which slowly but surely has a lot of your stuff in his space now.
Neither of you ever made the relationship official though. Yet, Hoseok smiles at the elderly woman, practically beaming as his hand tightens around yours and thanks her.
You don’t know what you are to Hoseok – if he really sees you as his girlfriend, someone he’s just dating but not that serious about, or maybe just a friend he’s intimate with – and you’re not sure what comes next.
The two of you find a spot to sit down, and you watch as he snaps pictures of the pretzels first before holding up the phone to take a picture of you and him together. As you pose for the camera, you could see how the two of you really do look like a couple. Matching clothes and all.
Whatever you are to Hoseok, and whatever he is to you, perhaps it’s okay to indulge in it while it still lasts. Even if a small, tiny, selfish part of you yearns for more.
Tumblr media
And then, Wrath.
Since the beginning of your relationship, you’ve been quietly counting down the days until it’s over. When Hoseok would find someone else and move on, just like any other lover you’ve dated. He’s too good to you, too kind. And you’ve been heartbroken and jaded one too many times to know that an inevitable end will come.
Even when an anniversary becomes two.
Even when he introduces you to his parents, and has started looking for a house you can move in together.
Even when his friends start to tease him and ask when they can expect an invitation to his wedding with you.
You’ll always fuck it up somehow.
“I don’t know why you’re so angry with me,” Hoseok tells you, exasperated. His patience seems to be running thin. “Did I do something wrong?”
It’s frustrating for both of you. Your suspicions. Your insecurities. Nothing good happens to you. A little voice in your head nags that you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve him.
And there’s nothing he can do to prove to you otherwise.
“I think we need to end this,” you find yourself saying. Words that you don’t mean, but they fall out of your lips anyway. From self-sabotage. From pain. From fear.
“You don’t mean that,” Hoseok calls your bluff. He doesn’t look angry or upset, but it seems like he expected this. The disappointment seems to hurt more than if he were to lash out on you.
Tears are brimming in your eyes, threatening to spill, but you refuse to cry. Not in front of him. You keep pushing him away, hoping he’d wake up and realize what you’ve always known – that he’s too good for you. That you’re the wrong person to share a future with.
“Just go,” you demand, your voice soft, barely a command.
You expect him to fight for you, like he always does. The back and forth breakups to make ups has become a vicious, toxic cycle lately.
“Fine.”
You’re stunned when you see him get off the couch and quickly walk out the door without another glance at you. This is what you want, right? It feels cruel to have expected him to stay.
And as your tears finally fall, a part of you – the part that truly, desperately loves him – hates you even more.
Tumblr media
Sloth.
That is a demon that stayed with you the longest.
Your heart feels heavy after the fight. So heavy, it feels troublesome to move. To eat. To think. All you want to do is rot away in your bed and sleep.
“Come on,” Hoseok’s voice gently calls for you. He opens the blinds to your bedroom, letting sunlight spill in. “I got the bath ready for you. Let’s wash up and I’ll make you something to eat.”
You close your eyes again, scowling with your face pressed against the pillow. Maybe you’re dreaming. A hallucination of your lover that your mind imagined, prompting you to get up and face the world already.
Or maybe Hoseok is just really too kind.
You get your answer when you feel his hands pull you away from the safety of your covers, and he helps you to the bathroom. He's picked up the empty bottles of beer and soju that littered around the room, you note, seeing them neatly put in plastic bags. The warm water feels soothing against your skin, and you soon feel his fingers run through your hair and massage your scalp.
You don’t say anything to him then.
You don’t say anything as he helps you dress up into something comfortable and sits you at the table. Groceries you don’t remember buying sit on the counter. He must have gotten them before he stopped by.
It’s only after he sets down a bowl of stew he made that you finally speak.
“Why are you doing this?” you ask, your voice so soft, you don’t think he heard you.
You’re undeserving of this. You’re undeserving of him.
Even now, that little voice in your head taunts that.
“I like you,” Hoseok simply answers, sitting next to you with his own bowl. There’s a sad smile on his face as he continues, “Even if you don’t feel the same.”
You sniffle. The part that loves him wants to scream that he’s wrong.
But the tiresome demon snuffs it out and keeps you quiet and complacent.
Tumblr media
And then, there is Pride.
Some would say, it’s the most evil of them all.
Pride keeps you from admitting your mistakes. From saying that you’re wrong. That asking for forgiveness is beneath you, and seeking for help and assurance is weakness.
Hoseok comes and goes often after you two have broken up. A stubborn part of him seems to think he can fix things. That in time, you’ll change your mind and take him back. That you’ll love him again, just as much as he loves you.
Even though, in your heart, you’ve never once stopped.
Pride is the vice that sneaks up on you. One you didn’t think you’d ever have, given the way the others plague your mind.
You only realize it when Hoseok stops visiting as much. When his calls are less frequent. When that look in his eyes that he used to only have for you starts to turn to someone else.
“Are you happy?” you ask when he tells you about her. He doesn’t need to. It isn’t any of your business. But he does anyway.
Because Hoseok loved you once. Perhaps, there will always be a part of him that still cares about you. That still likes you, despite everything.
A small voice in your head tells you to admit your feelings to him now. To tell him that you still love him. That you never stopped thinking about him.
Maybe if you did, things would’ve been different. Maybe if you did, he’d choose you.
But that kind of confession is undeserving of you. It kills you to see Hoseok moving on and loving someone else. But what little pride you have steels you from revealing the truth.
Even as he smiles and tells you, “I am.”
Tumblr media
The cruelest one of them all, however, stands before you.
You've been doing better. You've been trying. The drinking and parties have slowed down significantly. The demons that haunt you have quieted down. You and Hoseok are friends, despite everything.
Which is why you end up here, at his place, looking at the white box he has in his hand.
Hoseok smiles and shows you what’s inside the box. Hope is in his eyes as he looks at you.
And a myriad of demons and their vices scatter into your heart all at once.
Lust makes you careless. Throwing yourself away to carnal sins is how you two met, and perhaps, not much else more.
Greed makes you selfish. Makes you want to keep him for yourself, even if you’re the one who broke things off with him.
Envy makes you jealous. What does she have that you don’t?
Gluttony makes you indulgent. All you do is take, take, and take. You don’t give anything back, and that’s why he deserves more.
Wrath makes you angry. You want to scream, throw something at him, make it known that you’re upset. That you’re still in love with him.
Sloth makes you complacent. Despite your fury, you could do nothing. This is all your fault, after all.
Pride makes you a liar. You refuse to let Hoseok know how hurt you are.
And hope … Hope has you clinging to him, even now. It makes your heart yearn – that small, tiny part of you that keeps fighting for him. That keeps reminding you that you love him. Even as he stands before you with an engagement ring inside the white box.
“Do you think she’ll like it?”
You force yourself to smile, hoping that it doesn’t reflect the way your heart shatters. Hoping that, for a brief second, he’d look at you and say that he loves you still.
“She’ll love it, Hoseok.”

Tumblr media
How was it even possible to end up in a situation like this?
All you had been doing was hunting, learning from Jake as he taught you. Though, you both traveled too far into the woods, ventured off into Pandora’s box.
Your legs ached, limbs on fire from walking the forest for miles on end. No matter how many times you complained to Jake, he kept walking.
It felt like torture. The deeper you went it felt like the more lost you got. However, there was that spark of excitement. The spark of excitement to see Pandora in all its beauty, in all of its mother’s glory. But all that would be quickly drowned out by the fear of being lost. The overwhelming paranoia that a thanator could come out and chase both of you.
The fear was evident, out on display for anyone to pick up. The way you try to appear smaller, ears flat on your head as your tail wraps around the plush skin of your thigh. There was also visible pain.
The way your pace was much slower than Jakes's, back practically hunched as you heaved for air. You weren’t used to walking so far but in unexplored territory. The gnawing pain at your tendons as you moved.
“How much longer to walk? My legs feel like they're going to fall off.” You complained once more, trailing behind Jake like a lost dog.
“Can’t you keep that pretty mouth busy with somethin’ else sweetheart, can’t take you complaining anymore.” Jake grunted, beginning to grow annoyed with your antics.
How long could it have been? There was no telling how long you've been following him. The longer you walked, the more exhausted you became. It felt like your quadriceps were on fire, like your tendons could disconnected at any minute.
“Can we please just rest, I can’t walk any further.” You eventually fell down, exaggerating the pain by just a smidge.
“You better make up f’r the lost time, coulda been back home if you weren’t so slow.” The man walked over, his frame towering over you as you sat.
“Can’t we just wait for someone to find us? I’m not walking any longer.” The air felt hot as you tried to catch your breath, chest heaving as air filled back into your lungs.
Jake crouched down to your level, one of his hands roughly grabbing your chin.
“Gonna have to shut you up if you keep complaining, princess.” The way Jakes words flowed off his tongue with ease sent shivers down your spine.
The way his gaze was cold, almost looking at you with some sort of intent, one that was clouded by lust. The way his hands moved down the sides of your body, touching every curve.
A faint blush found its way on your face, the way your tail suddenly swished side to side as your ears perked up. The body language evident of how his touch made you feel, the way it was enough for you to melt in his hands.
But then reality gave you a good smack. The realization you were still lost, that anyone could find you two. The reality of the situation came back like a anvil, crushing your thoughts.
“Jake- we’re still lost.. Anyone could find us..” you mumbled, looking down as your eyes half lidded.
“Don't worry about them, sweetheart. Stay quiet f’r me and everything will be fine.”
Though no matter the amount of convincing Jake did, there was still that twinge of fear that also ignited an excitement deep in your core. The feeling sent a rush through your veins.
You could feel your body subconsciously pressing to him, lips crashing against each other. The way your body acted on its own before your mind could process, before you could give it a second thought.
“Such a beautiful girl, with such a beautiful body…” Jake mumbled, hands running over every inch of your skin.
His hands traveled down to your loincloth, undoing the material and moving it aside, gently removing your top as well. His lips kept to yours, the heat of your mouths infiltrating the air.
The way you gasped for air when pulling away, saliva slightly running down your chin, golden eyes looking at him. Your mind was so easily switched from rational to lust, body beginning to ache for the man.
Jake stood up, towering over you once more His hands moved to his loincloth, undoing it, cock springing free.
Beads of precum dripped from the tip, leaving a small spot on his loincloth. He looked down, watching the way you looked at it.
“Be a good girl and use that mouth f’r something other than complaining,” His eyes almost burned into yours.
He watched as you moved your head forward, lips encasing his member. The way your jaw stretched to fit him in, hands holding hsi thighs. It was a sight to see, the way your tears trickled down that beautiful blue skin of yours in an attempt to take him.
Your pace was slow, your jaw beginning to ache the more you moved. Jake grunted a little, the feeling of your warm mouth starting to send him into a frenzy. One of his hands moved to your hair, holding a chunk of it. Your pace stopped as you looked up to him, trying to tell his moves.
His hips pulled away, the tip of his c ock resting on your lips before he pushed himself back in. His thrust forced you to take him down your throat, listening to the muffle moans and whines erupting from your stuffed throat.
“Atta girl, look so much better f’r me when you’re on your knees.” Jake groaned, pleasure sparking every nerve in his body.
His hand stayed tight in your hair, gripping it to keep you in place. His hips rutted up into your mouth, cock bruising the back of your throat. Your body shuttered, wetness coating your thighs as you let him use you.
“Gonna swallow all of daddy's cum like a good girl,” Jake slipped out a moan, his hips increasing speed.
Your jaw aches and becomes sore, mouth finding it hard to take his large cock. His tip moving down your throat, leaving bruises in your mouth. Your tongue swirled around each vein, lapping up the underside of his dick.
“That’s it baby, just stay all pretty f’r me,”
Jake could feel his orgasm approaching. The way his hips became sloppy and uneven, the groans and small moans falling from his lips. His cock twitching your mouth.
With a few more sloppy thrusts, his seed spills into your mouth. It’s warm, slightly bitter but tasteful in a way.
He pulls his hips away, crouching back down, hand holding your chin once more.
“Swallow it, don’t be wasteful now, girl.”
His tone was firm, watching the way you so easily obeyed him, opening your mouth to show.
“Need you s’bad Jake..” you mumbled, thighs clenching together as your arousal began to drop down your thigh, slicking your cunt.
“Know you do baby, be patient sweetheart.” His hands moved to your hips, turning you around and pulling you to his lap.
Your legs opened for him, your cunt on display as the arousal dripped. His hand moved down, gently teasing you before his hand slipped to your heat, feeling it up for a second.
His mouth moved to your neck, gently biting at it as his hand lubed up with your slick, eventually finding the clit. The way the rough pads of his fingers rubbed at the sensitive nub, sending sparks of pleasure through your veins.
Without a small warning, his digits pushed past your folds. Velvety walls squeezing on him as you let out a gentle moan. He thumb kept to your clit, circling and flicking as his fingers curled in your heat.
The sensation was overbearing. Moans flooding past your lips, legs struggling to stay open. His thumb kept with the pace of his fingers, the motion bringing that tight feeling to your womb.
That smug grin of Jake’s was on his lips, the feeling of his lips curve up as he kissed down your neck. Marks of his dotting your soft skin.
“Feels good, yea? Gonna have to keep you quiet, gettin’ too loud for me princess.” Jakes hands with a swift movement went back to your jaw, two fingers entering your mouth quickly.
Your hands held into his wrist, the feeling of your orgasm building up becoming overwhelming. The sensation and lewdness of it all has you in a frenzy.
Your orgasm washes over you with quick speed. Hips jerking up as you let out a muffled moan, legs shaking and closing in as you clench around his fingers.
Jake watches the way you fall apart in his hands, the way you shake and shiver from his touch. He takes pride in knowing you’ve become like this so quickly. The way you undo yourself for the touch of him, it’s quite entertaining to him.
“Good girl, doing so well f’r me.”
You nod, mind too fucked out for a proper response. Your body was already slightly shaking, limp. Easily moved as Jake put you on all fours, moving your head down to the ground and your hips up.
“You gonna let daddy fuck your cunt real good, yea?” He spoke against your neck, gently bubbling at the skin.
Before you could even provide a proper response, his cock was past your folds. There was a moan and whine that fell from your lips. The way his cock made you feel so full, the way his tip poked at your cervix, stretching you out in ways that made pain mix with pleasure.
“So fucking tight, all f’r me.” His hips flushed against yours, resting in that position for only a slight bit.
There was a moment for you to adjust before his hips move. His pace was relentless, hips snapping against yours, body shaking. You bit your lower lip to keep your noise down, body shaking as he slid in and out.
The grip he has on your hips was sure to leave bruises, the way he roughly used your body sent lust and desire to your mind. There was not a coherent thought anymore, your mouth blabbering whatever it thought of.
The way his cock was curved so slightly to hit your gspot each time he thrusted sent stars to your head. Your eyes half lidding as his pace kept up. Jake can’t help but let out a grunt at the way you clench around his length, body shuddering as it tries to keep up.
“‘M gonna- fuck right there-!” You almost shrikes, the feeling of his balls slappinf against your clot as he reached deep into your body.
“Gonna what? Gonna come for daddy again?” Jake said almost mockingly, biting down slightly at your neck again.
A moan slipped past your lips as your lip became free, pretty noises falling past your lips. Your body shook once again as that feeling came back to your womb but with much stronger force.
His hips came to a stop as Jake felt you squeeze around his cock. Your spongy walls pulsating around him as your slick dripped onto the grass, slickness coating jakes inner thighs as well.
“Damn girl.. you must be feeling real good, huh?” He teased, hips picking back up with the same ruthless pace.
The overstimulation hit hard, the way your walls became tighter, legs shaking as you shuddered. You couldn’t even talk anymore; moans falling past your lips every-time you tried to say something.
“Fuck, gonna coke inside you, baby girl.” It wasn’t up for discussion, his pace becoming sloppy as he thrusted.
His cock twitches inside you as he came, thick ropes of dim coating your insides. Jake let out grunts as he orgamsed. The feeling of your hot, right cunt around his dick sending him into overdrive.
He pulled out, admiring rhe way his cum dropped from your folds. Jake pulled you back into his chest, holding you close.
“That’s it, good girl. Did so well f’r daddy.”
Jake kept your body close, back pressed against his chest. His voice husky yet caring as he spoke. The air still felt thick and heavy, invading your lungs. Your body was calming down, breathing becoming more eased as you leaned back.
You two talked under the sky as he put your loincloth and top on for you, covering you in kisses as he caressed your sides. His touch was gentle this time, different from how rough he was.
As time passed, you felt yourself grow tired. Eventually falling asleep on his chest, his arms shielding you.
Now just one more problem.
Where the hell did you two travel off?

Valentine's / Followers Celebration Requests are closed.
(Y/n) sighed as Regina patted her shoulder with a sense of sympathy. There were times when she wasn't as cold-hearted as she could be. She knew how (Y/n) felt about Karen, and she wished that she could help her. However, Gretchen got to Karen first, and now they were a couple. Now, they were in the cafeteria, sharing a kiss as Regina, Cady, and (Y/n) entered to go sit at their table. There was a horrible feeling brewing in (Y/n)'s stomach as she watched this exchange, not knowing if she should leave the lunch room to cry, or if she was going to put on a brave face and be supportive.
She had reminded herself how weird it would look if she didn't show up to lunch. It was a Wednesday, and Karen had texted her to see what pink outfit she would be sporting the night before. It was strange to be hopeful one minute just for your world to come crashing down the next minute. Cady gently patted the seat next to her with a sheepish smile. (Y/n) smiled at the offer as she accepted, not looking at Karen or Gretchen. Even if they had stopped kissing, she still wasn't ready to look either of them in the eye. How did she not know they were into each other? Was she so blind to her feelings that she didn't realize Karen could like someone else? Let alone someone else liking her?
(Y/n) felt queasy and she felt like she could cry, but she didn't want to overly observant honey-blonde that Karen locked lips with moments earlier to realize she was upset about something. That would unintentionally open Pandora's box, and she didn't want that to happen. Especially not now at lunch. Instead, she stayed quiet and smiled over to everyone as they spoke. As her mother always said, "The trick to being happy, baby, is to fake it until you make it." Looking back, this wasn't the best advice but she knew her mom's heart when in the right place when she received it all those years ago. Her mother couldn't predict that she would attach herself to that saying.
"(Y/n), did you hear me?" A voice caught her attention and she blinked when she met Gretchen's eyes. She then realized that all eyes were on her. While Cady and Regina looked on with a bit of worry, Karen and Gretchen held a curious stare. Gretchen's brows furrowed as she looked over the confused expression on (Y/n)'s face. "Okay, so it looks like you didn't. I was just wondering if you needed a ride to the party this weekend. Karen and I can pick you up after our date."
Date. It was like a stab to the chest. (Y/n) was about to decline the offer, but Regina entered the conversation for her. "I'll get her. I wanted to try this new make-up look on her." Regina gave her a nod as (Y/n) glanced over at her thankfully. This seemed to please Gretchen as she turned her attention to Regina, asking about the make-up look. Cady gently nudged (Y/n) in order to hopefully snap her out of any future zone outs. It seemed as though (Y/n) was in and out of consciousness, even if she was fully awake. Who knew unrequited love was an out-of-body experience? In Karen's defense, only (Y/n) fell in love, and she wasn't even aware. So, she was safe from any of the bad feelings that (Y/n) felt in her chest right now.
At the party Saturday night, Regina was giving her several shots. One after another, (Y/n) found herself growing more drunk by the second. By the time Karen and Gretchen entered, their fingers intertwined, (Y/n) was fucked up. "Wouldn't it be crazy if I just told Karen how I felt? Like that would be so fucking crazy, right?' Regina eyed the girl, now realizing her mistake of giving her so many shots. "I'm not gonna, 'Gina. I'm just saying it would be wild." (Y/n) shrugged, leaning into Cady since her balance was so poor. Cady held her up gently as she looked over to Regina with worry in her blue eyes.
When (Y/n) saw Karen alone, she patted Cady on the shoulder. "I'm gonna go to the restroom," she said, declining Cady's offer to go with her. She and Regina seemed to know what she was going to do. But, they knew that (Y/n) was too stubborn when she was drunk. So, they were sentenced to witnessing (Y/n) approach Karen as Gretchen went outside to retrieve something. "Karen, you look great. Do you know something? I'm in love with you. In fact, I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. Isn't that crazy?" (Y/n) slurred, leaning against the wall as Regina came over slowly to grab her.
Karen glanced over and didn't see Gretchen. She sighed softly, placing a soft hand on (Y/n)'s shoulder. "You're drunk," she said as if it wasn't obvious. "And I'm not your person." She stated sadly. She didn't want to hurt someone she considered a friend, but she wasn't going to lie to (Y/n) about her feelings either. Not when she was genuinely happy with Gretchen.
(Y/n)'s face went blank at her bluntness. "I- I know that," (Y/n) felt like the world might be spinning as she looked back to see Regina. "Regina, can we go?" She asked. She looked sober for a moment, even though Regina knew she wasn't. Regina extended an arm and (Y/n) practically fell into it. Karen decided not to tell Gretchen what (Y/n) said when she approached. She didn't want to ruin Gretchen and (Y/n)'s friendship. Instead, she just said (Y/n) was drunk. And though (Y/n) wasn't typically an emotional drunk, she was crying into Cady's shoulder as soon as she saw her.
Cady and Regina took (Y/n) out of the party as she cried, and Regina checked to see where the Uber was. "It's going to be okay, (Y/n). You're going to find your person, I promise." Regina assured her. But (Y/n) wasn't so sure about that as she continued to cry into Cady's shoulder, wishing she said nothing at all.
