Okay so obviously I read the first chapter of BnB and this is simply how I'm going to leave the longest review humanly imaginable. Was literally geeking as I read. Omg. The characterization? Nancy's characterization specifically like...genuinely she was so real? I could see that version of Nancy Wheeler in my head so clearly omg. Had me hooked.

Also, put on the Mike playlist for the soundtrack and yes. Nancy driving into a mailbox while a happy go lucky song plays in the background had me giggling just a little cause like girl eyes on the road. Nancy's constant annoyance with Mike and vice-versa was so true to their characters. Also Nancy crashing out after being compared to their dad is valid. Of course she glued the mailbox back on. At least Nancy tried to give a motivational speech. Even if it didn't turn out well.

"Whatever happened looks bad enough that he can't hear her" - foreshadowing?

Mike continues dogging on Nancy lmao.

"It's an idle kind of curiosity. Like sticking a fork into a plug socket, or throwing yourself out of a window. Mike isn't desperate enough to try it yet."- Yet. What do you mean yet. Let the intrusive thoughts lose?!

what i use: potplayer for capturing frames photoshop cs6 (can find it for free here or in other links on the tag) qbittorrent torrenting sites (this, this, eventually this) sharpening action arial rounded mt bold for subtitles

assuming you know how to torrent, if possible download what you want to gif in 1080p or the highest possible resolution etc etc

frames

open video in potplayer, go to the moment you want to gif and go back a couple frames (10-20) from when you want your gif to start (i usually just spam press D a bunch) (to see which key you have to press to go back on frames, right click > jump (to) > previous frame

now press CTRL+G or open frame capturing through right click > video > video capture > capture consecutive images...

my settings for capturing frames

(important to turn off subtitles before doing this or they'll be captured on the image too)

the folders i save it to -> i created a bunch of frame folders that i fill up since the way frames load in my photoshop require me to load an entire folder into it. so i capture an entire gifset's frames into one folder and then load up the entire thing

press 'start' on the consecutive image capturer, then start playing the video (best to mute it since the video might start playing slower), wait until the part you want to gif is over and stop the video, press CTRL+G again to stop the capturing

2. photoshop

depending on your photoshop you can either 'load files into stack...', which opens up a folder and you can manually choose which frames you want to load, or 'load multiple dicom files..." (what i have to do), where you select an entire folder to load its contents into photoshop

once you do either of those things, you got this

now click 'create frame animation' on the bottom

now we click on the three bars and 'make frames from layers'

!! if you loaded up frames with 'load frames into stack...' at this point you also have to click 'reverse frames' since they load in reverse order with this method for some reason

now we got our frames on a timeline and delete anything you dont want in your gif. if you have frames for multiple gifs on the timeline, go to image > duplicate and duplicate for however many gifs you got and delete the unnecessary frames from each one

crop tool, type in dimensions up top (in accordance with tumblr's dimension graph, so if you want a wide gif like the one on the top of this post keep it 540px). i usually crop my gifs to between 540x400 and 540x500. once centered on how you want to crop, press enter or double click on the image to crop

press ALT+CTRL+I or go to image > image size... to resize

open the actions tab if you don't have it already open, go to 'load actions...' and find where you saved the sharpening action you downloaded from the top of this post

i only use "all in one (sharper)" and "convert to animation (frames)", but unchecked the "canvas size" option on the latter one since we resized the gif ourselves

select 'select all layers current layer' on the action (the other steps we already did) and press play

our gif frames will turn into a group so now go to "convert to animation (frames)" and press play again

this will pop up at the end, leave it at 0.05 (maybe 0.06 if the gif is going too fast)

if we were to export the gif now it would look like this

now comes the coloring, which is personal preference. the reason i chose hannibal for this gifset is to show the white balance tool that works great in tinted scenes

open a 'levels' layer and selected the bottom eyedropper. then click it on a place on the gif that should be white but isn't (i clicked on hannibal's shirt collar). the gif coloring will change accordingly

then pick the top eyedropper and click on anything that should be black but isn't (you can click on multiple places and see how the color changes, keep trying until you find one that looks good)

and then the coloring is up to you, i usually just add more levels layers and color balance

VERY IMPORTANT to get into the habit of selecting those two thingies on each layer you apply (on the subtitle text layer select all three) so that the coloring stays the same on all frames

Did the crowd's hatred outmatch Blitzø's?

Christ on a stick indeed, Blitzø.

This question, which our beloved imp had kindly raised himself, has been bothering me since the 'Apology Tour' came out.

I've seen plenty posts speculating on this topic, and it's not going to be a super unique take, I admit, but I would still like to think aloud about what that party really symbolizes.

Is it the true extent of Blitzø's tendencies to hurt anyone who dares to reach too close? Or was it exaggerated by Verosika?

Let's see what evidence we have on hand and make some assumptions about what that could mean.

A quick note of appreciation before be begin: I sincerely admire the amount of work done on detailing the crowd at the Halloween party. Just look at the progress in animation they've made since the 'Queen Bee' episode! From animating three-four people max to drawing almost each character separately, and giving basic movements to many of them.

(tumblr, your 10mb gif restriction sucks ass. I struggled to show just how good these animations are with such a limited size)

Wow, my hat's down, I am in awe.

But okie, let's go.

The avoidance

It would be silly to deny that Blitzø has issues forming meaningful, deep connections. He is afraid of affection, of love. We've seen this with Stolas. We've seen how hurtful, brash, and aggressive he becomes when offered vulnerability and feelings, how deep his distorted view of the world runs. During the Full Moon tryst, he is so terrified that he is completely deaf to what has actually been said, and he lashes out violently, scorching everyting along the way.

We also know Blitzø is extremely horny and finds comfort in sex, while being too scared of emotional attachment and craving it just as much. Given this, is it really surprising to see more people affected by his demeanor?

Take Verosika, for instance. He dumped her by running off after she confessed her love, leaving her to pay for a hotel room, stealing her car, running three Rings to Wrath, and maxing out her credit card on shitty horse riding lessons.

Then there are some people we don’t know who are visibly destroyed by their time with Blitzø. We know nothing about them, but simply observing their distress and Blitzø’s reactions is enough to draw conclusions.

We can endlessly sympathize with Blitzø. We understand what he has been through, why he behaves the way he does, and how much he still suffers. However, this does not give him a carte blanche to ruin the lives of those around him. The show does not glorify him as a poor, misunderstood figure—instead, it poignantly exposes how insensitive he has been to other people's feelings, and shoves it in his face immediately after he damages another relationship that, as we know, he actually held dear.

I mean, from some points of view, even Dennis, who only made out with Blitzø, could justifiably be deeply offended and scarred by his insults...

The hatred

Okay, something doesn’t add up. This was supposed to be a party for those whose hearts were broken, not for whiny bitches who couldn’t handle one little insult that’s quite common in Hell’s environment!

Ugh, thanks, Dennis. Now we need to untangle the other side of the mess, because it’s clearly not so one-dimensional anymore. But fuck you still, you fucking suck (affectionate <3 you actually slay).

So, what’s going on? Let’s take another look at the crowd.

For starters, Tex, baby, what are you doing here? Didn’t you say her beef ain't yours? Why the fuck are you involved? Did she pay you to be a backup for Stolas and passionately repeat 'motherfucker,' referring to someone who arguably did nothing wrong to you?

And aren’t those succubi and incubi from Verosika’s Spring Break entourage? Lads and lasses, did Blitzø fuck up your bleeding hearts too, or are you just hanging out at the same places as Verosika?

Fucking Wally selling hate merch? Blitzø, look at me—do you remember him in your bed? Or, maybe, just maybe, he doesn’t give two shits and is just capitalizing on a quick profit opportunity?

Blitzø doesn’t remember everyone from that party; he admitted that at the very beginning of our discussion. He recognizes some of them though, but doesn’t act particularly sorry...

As much as I’m willing to believe and admire Blitzø’s stamina to fuck that many people, I don’t think he’s had enough weekends in his adult life to meet, charm, have intercourse with, and dump all of them. The math just isn't adding up.

But he never questions whether the crowd was genuinely hurt by him or if they just came as someone’s friend or to participate in a thrilling experience of hating on someone they might not even know. Hey, those piñatas, darts, and fire pits look quite fun, don’t they? It almost seems like they don’t care about the implications—literally bullying someone and taking joy in it.

So, could Verosika be a little too obsessed with building the image of Blitzø as an irredeemable, ruthless, and atrocious imp, to the point of letting just about anyone in to exaggerate the extent of the real issue? Perhaps even doing it quite intentionally?

What the actual hell?

Before you get lost in my elaborate attempts to make my point, let me draw three conclusions from what we’ve seen.

Conclusion one: Both statements are true.

We’ve learned that not everyone in the crowd was hurt by Blitzø. However, even if we narrow it down to just the confirmed cases—six in total (Stolas, Verosika, two crying demons, and two demons Blitzø acknowledged before insulting them again)—it’s still a significant number. It’s enough to start questioning Blitzø and encourage him to change, as this harmful tendency leads to nothing good. For Stolas's sake and for his own, too.

Conclusion two: Blitzø entirely belongs to this party.

His spiky, insufferable attitude he shows to others is actually, from some point of view, this:

He is so adamant that he doesn’t deserve love that he deems all the affection shown to him as a lie. So he pushes away, snarls, insults, and attacks. Because how dare you love such a monster? This can’t be true; this is wrong!

It is himself whom his hatred is directed toward.

He should be an honorary guest at this party, a fucking star invitee. No one can fucking beat him in the craft of hating on himself.

And the crowd, which he didn’t even attempt to challenge, is just a showcase of what he thinks he is. It represents what he actually isn’t, considering we’ve proven that some of the people there have nothing to do with him. It’s an exaggerated, untrue reflection of his worst ideas about himself.

Conclusion three: Verosika's obsession with bullying Blitzø is unhealthy.

Yes, even considering her good intentions to help those who suffered because of him.

Just as the crowd reveals Blitzø’s extent of self-loathing, it also highlights her inability to move on and the persona she has created for herself. She is wholly engulfed in it.

While we now understand her point of view and where she is coming from, it doesn’t excuse her for organizing the bully party, stalking Blitzø and his partners… Seriously, how invested do you have to be to learn about the breakup after just one night? Or to even know who your ex of 5+ years (allegedly, we don’t know for sure) dated to begin with?

Lady, you need to put away your booze and get yourself together. He acted horribly, no doubt, but the effort you’re putting into trying to prove he’s a motherfucker just isn’t worth it.

This isn’t the solution. People are either still hurt or just enjoy hating on Blitzø, but they are simmering in hatred nonetheless.

They are not healing, and neither is Verosika.

A closing note (yay?)

TL;DR (should be at the beginning, really, but who cares): Everyone in this show needs some fucking therapy. Mental health sucks ass in Hell (wonder why?). And bullying also sucks. Don’t be bullies. Thanks.

Okay, class, put away your notebooks and put down your pencils. The homework will be to find some anti—and... why the excited, shimmery eyes? *gasp* No, don’t bully them. Have you learned nothing from what I've said? Move on. Block them. Because #stolitz will be canon, and nothing will change that, so let them whine somewhere else.

#1 What was your introduction to Red, White and Royal Blue? How did you become aware of it, what was your first impression of it?

I didn't know anything about it until @petitmimosa started rambling about it a few weeks/couple of months(?) ago. I think she saw the trailer on prime, read the book then watch the movie? I was only half listening (she rambles a lot about a lot of stuff) because I was pretty sure I wouldn't be interested at all (romcoms aren't really my thing).

Then FREAKING TUMBLR decided that RWRB would be the only thing I'll be seeing on my dash for days and days. So I'd say to myself, if I'm going to be forced to look at pics and gifs of these two guys AGAIN and AGAIN, may as well know what this is all about. So I've watched the movie and surprisingly had a good time. And since Internet (and algorithms) keeps showering with rwrb content (nothing else is happening in the cinema industry anyway), I've decided to roll with it and enjoy the said content. I read the book quickly after and even if it was fun, I think I like the movie better.

#2 Team Alex or Team Henry? (I know you love them both equally but choose anyway. OR choose depending of the circumstances. Like, "I’d go shopping with Alex but I’d marry Henry. Or I’d hug Alex but I’d go karaoke with Henry. I don’t know. Try something.)

Even if I like Henry and find him very precious, I think I'm Team Alex. I like how refreshing he is. You can't really be sad watching him and not only because he looks cute af. But all love to both, obviously.

#5 Choose one scene from the book to add to the movie.

I'm not sure because I don't know the book that well but I know how I felt reading this

“Dear Thisbe, I wish there weren’t a wall. Love, Pyramus”

and I wish they'd found a way to include it in the movie. Maybe not in the way of the book, because that might have not worked as best as it should but in some way. I don't know.

#7 Tell us something you like better in the movie than in the book.

Oh man, so many things. One of the main thing, I like that Alex is more freaked out by being into Henry that being into guys in general in the movie. There are important scenes following, about owning the term bisexual in front of other people but being into guys feels less a big (and long) deal than in the book for him. Which is good. I feel like the "i'm bi, so what?" is a good mood to put out there in 2023.

I know the point has been quite a debate here and there so I hope I put the right words to express my view on this.

And tell us something you like better in the book than in the movie. 

A couple of things :

I would have liked for Bea to have a bit more substance as a character in the movie.

and, and that could have been an answer to the "share an unpopular opinion", I'm not the biggest fan of the parisian night scene. Not by Taylor and Nick's fault because the shots of their faces and how they acted are very delicate but I'm very not into the directing, the blocking and the editing of this scene. If felt too heavily romcom coded for my taste (and for my french person leaving near Paris' eyes), when one of the strength of the movie (for me) is being fresh and fun with the romcom codes.

10- You’re in a difficult situation where you have only one call to get help (or to save your life), who are you calling? Amy, Zahra or Ellen?

Zahra, every day, everywhere. I wouldn't trust anyone more than someone who reminds me that much of Sam Marquez in the tvshow Las Vegas.

13- A detail you feel like it’s not enough discussed. Whether it’s a scene, a quote, a frame, a piece of acting, a decor…) Time to ramble about it!

Oh I have two actually! The first good thing I have said about the movie is how much I like the opening credits. The music is good, the visuals are good, I like it a lot.

The second has probably been discussed over and over (and my recording sucks) but

I need daily screaming about the softest, smoothest, most determined "no." I ever heard in my entire life.

14- Favorites outfit(s) in the movie? (You can pick as many as you want, from as many characters as you want. But if you reply with a screenshot of a naked person, I’m going to put you in horny jail).

My only regret is that he's not wearing matching pants (there must be matching pants, right?) cause I feel like AGCD wouldn't have shy away from them. And that would have been epic.

To make it as plain as I can state it: the tags are public space that is shared, you should expect to see things that you won't agree with in the common show tags. Tags on someone else's post, on the other hand, should be respectful of the original OP.

Reblogging a post and adding commentary tags that are rude about the thing the person who created the post likes is not good tumblr etiquette for two reasons: it forces someone who may not be interested in interacting with others' opinions to see yours, and it leaves little room for dialogue. If you are just salty about a show, no need to bring someone else's post into it, just make your own. This is especially true with gifsets, fanart, and other transformative works. Someone spent time and energy to make something as an act of love, that is not the place to say you didn't like the thing. Just don't reblog or comment only on the gifset itself, and make your own separate post with your opinions. Similarly, don't add gifs made by someone else to criticism; you're holding up a piece of their art and saying the thing they made it about sucks. That doesn't feel good and it isn't necessary.

On the other hand, tagging your separate post of criticism with the show tag is a way to add your voice to the public conversation about a show, and I think it's critical we not make that dependent on only positive commentary. No show is perfect and being able to talk through the things that did and didn't work make us all better media consumers. It also helps people avoid things they don't want to see in shows. If you love something and don't want to see criticism of it, you can skim and scroll past in the tags, temporarily or permanently filter or block people who are posting negatively about the show, or if you don't want to manage your own feed, just go to blogs that are positive about it and let other people curate your experience by skimming their blogs only for posts they've found and reblogged and tagged within their blog. We have some incredible tag divers in fandom who go through and surface good posts and reblog them, find the ones with your taste and use them to help curate your experience.

There are limits. Spamming a show tag with multiple posts that are complaints is bad etiquette. Reposting the same complaint every week is annoying. These are the kinds of behaviours that make me consider blocking or filtering someone's tags. And if there are fandom-specific tags, eg ship couple tags, or if someone has a specific custom tag, checking in and using it as it's intended is good etiquette.

At the end of the day it doesn't actually matter what I think about whether people should tag their criticism or not, and why; tumblr is a public social media space, and we'll never be able to force people to behave how we prefer on their own blogs. This is why blocking, filtering, and unfollowing is so important and healthy in this space. It isn't rude or mean, it's just curating your experience. If folks feel strongly about not wanting to see criticism of their faves, the reality is they'll have to manage that experience for themselves because those of us who prefer to see the full range of reactions even when we disagree with them will continue to tag our criticism with the generic show tag. Maybe if there are enough of them they could make their own positive-only tags [and immediately understand why the suggestion of tagging criticism as criticism is a flawed system lol].

I'm seeing the whole "If you don't like something stay out of the fandom tags" commentary again. Honestly, it bugs me quite a bit. I would say that I try to not piss in people's cheerios often. I try to not just complain for the sake of yelling about something. I do believe everyone should get to enjoy what they enjoy whether I like it or not.

but I also think people who like a certain kind of story and watch things with the hope they will get what they like, and then are disappointed, also deserve community.

I think the opinion that people are doing this to troll or because they enjoy complaining is a bad take, at least in the fandoms I'm in. When I get that stubborn about a show it's because I genuinely loved something about it and I now have passionate opinions about it. If I didn't care, I would not be posting about it. I would just forget it.

And yes, there are different levels of critique that are productive and others that are not. But having people be like - have your feelings but keep it to yourself or only your dash where others may or may not have the same feelings - maybe are harmless when you are annoyed that an adult show has all the plot points of a high school story, but are concerning when the post is talking about the pair the spare where there is no recognition that they had painted the antagonist as an assaulter and are now rehabilitating him with no effort at all. When you start dictating what is acceptable and unacceptable fandom opinions, you start walking the line of censoring voices that should be boosted.

In my opinion, fandom is at its best when you are hearing other points of view and gaining more understanding of media by listening to other voices. It's another part of the transformative nature of fandom.

It's so easy here to block people or filter people and tags. The expectation yet again that someone else should be responsible for your experience is beyond my brain capacity.

I do know how hard it is to see a huge fandom reaction that doesn't align with yours -I have experienced it both in loving something and hating something. But that is why we all need to find our community and well, on tumblr, it's in the tags.

Losing A Bet (Patreon Post)

My roommate and I were both pretty lonely. Our girlfriends broke up with us and I haven’t tried dating since. He tried but nothing seemed to stick. When X-Change came out, he seemed to love the idea.

He bought a pack of basics and showed it to me. “It’s a simple coin toss. Loser has to take one of these and be my date for the evening,” he said, a grin on his face. I reluctantly agreed and picked tails. He flipped the coin and chuckled as he showed me the result.

Heads. Of course it had to be heads. “Well, a deal‘s a deal. I guess I’ll be your date for the evening,” I said, rolling my eyes. “Good. I picked out some clothes for you. You may want to take that basic now. The sun‘s going down and I have a reservation for the both of us,” he said with a wink before walking out. “What an ass,” I thought to myself.

I sighed before getting out of bed and grabbing a pill and moving to the living room. I took a deep breath before swallowing and getting dressed. My new body was beautiful. I honestly didn’t expect it to work. My new body seemed so alien but natural at the same time. After staring at my new body for a few minutes, I remembered the bet and knocked on my roommate’s door. The look on his face was priceless. His jaw was on the floor as he saw how beautiful I was.

“I...I can’t believe you actually did it. You look absolutely stunning,” he stammered. I blushed and giggled at how nervous he was around me. Maybe being a chick for the night wouldn’t be so bad after all.

The Brilliance of Break On Through

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Mission Break on Through—An Analysis

I have replayed the campaign of COD:BOCW numerous times—too many times truly. Did a whole playthrough where it was Hardened and soon I’m sure I shall do Veteran(something I have never done for any COD game. Not even Hardened.).

All missions have their own unique qualities—parts where the player gets a little rush of adrenaline depending on the kind of mission and how they choose to play it (Nowhere Left to Run just a plain shooting match while Brick in the Wall you can choose to remain stealthy like the good spy you are or go crazy like an eager homicidal maniac).

Even within the safehouse, there are plenty of little details to discover if you take the time to look around and observe everyone. Or, everything. (The radio if turned to a Russian station/correspondence, Adler changes it back immediately before Da Nang mission. Watching Park’s body language, as you talk to Adler and she periodically looks over to you two. Adler suspicious when you go to the Red Room or the locked room with the arcade. The T.V. being turned on in the Red Room)

But the amount of details, details, in the mission Break on Through is outstanding. I have played this mission more than any other due to me wishing to look at all the details. There’s so many, I think I may miss some. And I can’t show them off all to you cause I suck at creating gifs and don’t know how to transfer that from Xbox to my phone.

To lighten it up a bit, I won’t focus on the four different scenarios you go through—at least not each one. That would take too long and I do not have gifs/pics to show it off since Tumblr limits it to ten anyways.

I will, however, try to guide to what parts of the game you all can explore if you choose to do so. As well just how detailed they did this mission.

I am going to start with the different statements Adler says to you throughout all the Scenarios(17, 6, 11, 1). We only go through four in the actual game—but the fact it goes up to 17 or possibly more shows just how far they went in and messed with Bell’s mind.

Now, Adler seems to be a bit bipolar on how he talks to you whether or not you listen to him and all his directions. Either totally blasé and cold to giving you and pumping you up with more MK or meds, or actually a tad concerned and patient as he guides you through.

If You/Bell Stands Still/Does Nothing:

Example 1

“So you did nothing? What were you, in shock?”

He throws the words callously, mocking. As if Bell isn’t confused and lost at what is going on. He even sounds irritated that you might actually be in shock due to these memories that are just fake—not even real. Not like what he has.

Example 2

“What’s wrong with Bell?” -Adler

“I’m not sure. . .” -Park

“I guess we’ll just wait on you to proceed, Bell.”

The contrast is dizzying. He sounds concerned when he asks Park on what could be wrong with you. If he pushed you too far and now you’re just frozen. And, instead of rushing you due to how the fate of half of Europe is at stake, he decides to give you space. Just wait for you and you’ll come out of it soon enough.

He does these sort of reactions numerous times. Jumping from intimidating to the Adler we knew as the player, as Bell—kind and always in your corner that believes in you. He switches tactics based on what he believes will work really—or he just felt really on edge at times and threw the farce that you two were friends out the window.

Other examples include:

Scenario 11–Napalm Strike-in the lab in the room where you were brainwashed

“Christ, what’s happening with them?”-Adler

“A mild seizure. Sims, past me a benzodiazepine.” -Park

Again, concerned. Worried. Almost…at unease?

In the lab—tripped up on drugs. If you run through the tight shrinking hallway back and forth like so(I suck at making gifs, I’m sorry):

“Why is Bell repeating themselves?”

Or

“Bell, stop speaking in circles.”

Now, as others may have suspected, Bell is talking to everyone as they’re stuck in this horrible loop of mental torture. Most likely muttering, hands clenching and arms pulling against the straps of the gurney, moving their head back and forth depending on what they’re seeing. I always saw Bell as muttering quickly in Russian as they go through all of this—their mother tongue where it may comfort them as they’re panicking and speaking to Adler.

It’s just a nice detail showcasing how exactly Adler knows that Bell is on script—Bell saying what they’re seeing and doing and what’s going on. It shows also just how hard they put Bell through the ringer(badum tss. I’ll leave now).

All the details too when the game shows how the drugs they put in Bell affects you. Like so. The hallways appearing long. The lights looking yellow. You feel so fast—look how quick you can run. Run towards the Red Door that Adler so desperately wants and maybe this can stop. Ah, why is it running away from you? What’s going on?

I don’t know about you, but I was so lost and confused at what was going on my first playthrough. For the majority of this mission, the possibility of me being brainwashed didn’t reach the BACK of my mind till probably I actually saw the flashes of scenes about Vietnam and calling Bell a subject. So like right here.

I personally thought that I had a repressed memory or something due to me going through the Vietnam War. That whatever I saw with Perseus, I—or rather Bell—repressed it from our mind due to how violent or horrible what we saw or experienced was. And that Adler suspected and just really wanted to know about it.

I didn’t expect for the man to actually brainwash my character—us—Bell! The game made Adler your mentor, who always defended you from Hudson and believed in your skills very highly. How he and Bell were basically perfect partners when the two of you were together.

It’s amazing—cause I think that’s what the developers were going for. The absolute trust. The loyalty. The denial that ‘maybe Adler is being a little harsh but hey, this is to help Perseus so it’s okay?’ It’s perfect. Because I’m sure that is what Bell actually felt in real time.

Yet, if you go through the total rebellious choice of not listening to Adler, some thing’s make sense. The Rebellious Side shows you way more than if you just listen to Adler like a Dutiful Soldier.

You go through this room if you choose the rebellious route, the T.V.’s automatically turning on the closer you get. Of Vietnam. And now, all those T.V.‘s that turned on by themselves(the Red Room, Lubyanka, Cuba) make sense. You were actually being brainwashed. Poor Bell probably can’t ever have a turned off/broken T.V. again. The trauma.

Said trauma being shown multiple times too. Not just the T.V.‘s. But the absolute terror that Bell felt, before they became Bell, with Adler.

Like do you see this? This terrified me when I saw it at the end of the hallway. I just saw a red shadow in the distance and I legit thought I was about to be chased. Call of Duty became a horror game(I also went through the door to the ground too my first playthrough, so before this I went through zombies and I think my heart was going to jump out my chest) I thought. I didn’t want to get closer. I had to, with each step I see that it’s not a shadow but a body. And than I see the familiar jacket, the sound of whirring in my ears and see it’s Adler’s head being twisted back and forth, side to side, up and down, in a speed that in inhumanely possible.

Makes one wonder if Bell themselves sees Adler as inhumane. Not human. Adler seeming to just be a god in their head. All the Adler shaped rocks/boulders you go through and see. Even one point the V.C. becoming Adler and you killing him over and over and dead bodies of Adler being everywhere.

The man has entered Bell’s head and won’t leave. Just like Adler won’t leave Bell alone.

Heck, there’s one point in my playthroughs of this mission I was by the bridge yet there were parts of the lab by it. I jumped towards it, noticing down below there were different floors of the lab that eventually reach the ground. I jumped to reach the next floor and missed and I died.

And Adler mocked Bell committing suicide.

That was the kicker really that Adler truly is indifferent towards Bell. Like complete disregard. I know it’s fake. We know it’s fake. Adler knows it’s fake—but to Bell, it felt real. That’s the crazy part. All of this—this whole sequence feels real to Bell so each time they die they actually feel it. It’s insane. It’s cruel.

But we all know that Adler isn’t known for his kindness. Still like his character though, he’s layered.

I don’t have the exact quote he said, didn’t wrote it down like the others. I was shook he said it at all.

Moving on to the final details I’m going to talk about.

When you go through the room, I believe this comes out for both rebellious and dutiful, really depends. You see it filled with post it notes, articles, plans, and newspapers. And you see once more just how Bell has been scarred.

I don’t know Russian or German, but I imagine the notes are similar to what the English one’s say. If I’m wrong, please point it out.

There’s also post it notes which I believe is in code as well due to all the numbers—I’m not sure what those could mean since I am no decoding expert.

Poor poor Bell. And with all these pictures and plans—of Adler included—it begs the question that Bell may have been warned about the famous America’s Monster beforehand. Had to have—since Adler is basically Perseus’s adversary due to how stubborn the American man could be. It just adds more to the story, despite Cold War having quite a short campaign, they made it up somewhat with all these details everywhere.

When you finally and actually reach the room.

As you grow closer to the table, to your chair in the conference room while everyone else seems to have their own spots, there’s something I noticed.

There’s glasses. As well as a hat. And it’s Bell’s. Or at least, it used to be. Why else is it on their side of the table? By their chair? I believe it might be reading glasses due to all the decryptions Bell does, whether on paper or through a computer, it’s hard on the eyes. (I’m sure I’m not the only one who noticed this. For look at @second-vtoroy ‘s Bell)

I believe through the brainwashing, Bell might not need glasses anymore. After all, apparently they were a smoker like Adler before too but they took that out of you. What else they changed of Bell? It makes one wonder how far they truly went into molding a person.

Which just adds onto how mind boggling this mission is—this game is. This is my favorite COD game, despite how short it is. The details and choices and interactions with everyone and able to create your own character(albeit it’s very standard and not specific but it’s good enough for me) is AMAZING. I’ve always been a sucker for RPG’s and able to get that even a little in a COD game? Truly wonderful.

I couldn’t touch on everything because it would’ve gotten long, but the fun of the Break on Through mission never gets old. It’s genius multiple ways you can do it. All the details. The feelings you feel as a player as you go through it.

They truly did a unique job with this and I hope they continue with this type of game storytelling. Hopefully longer as well.

He thinks is the cutest thing in the world and he also cannot believe he has that kind of sway over you. He's like????? They're shy around me?????? He'll do a lot of cute little things to try and get you to relax around him and be more comfortable being yourself around him. When you're not super close, he'll do random things to make himself look ridiculous so if he's intimidating to you at all, he seems less so. Then as you grow more comfortable with each other, anytime he notices you becoming quiet he'll do something like plucking your chin or some other cute gesture that he knows you'll have some sort of witty comeback for. He appreciates and adores both sides of you, but always wants to make sure you feel comfortable around him.

YOON JEONGHAN

Jeonghan will likely match your energy depending on how you're feeling. But he does have a habit of challenging your more sarcastic side because he tends to talk quite bluntly, so he thinks those conversations are more fun. He honestly has a lot of fun figuring out how to push your buttons until you two are ceaselessly teasing each other. He'll leave you be if it really seems like you're not up to it and respects when you're more quiet. He can always easily go with the flow depending on your mood.

JOSHUA HONG

Josh tends to also get shy around new people or one on one with people he doesn't know that well or in other moments he's not prepared for. So if you suddenly get shy, it'll probably trigger his shyness as well. He'll suddenly be unsure of what to say or where to look or how to act. Moments between you and Joshua tend to be very sweet and lighthearted since both of you are very careful towards each other. Any sort of friendship/relationship with each other with each other will progress slowly because it takes you two awhile to fully open up to each other. But it means that you two also eventually feel very comfortable around each other since you spent so much time building up trust.

He probably hates this lol. Not because of you but because he just can't stand awkward silence and puts all the pressure on himself to fix it. He also doesn't really get it????? Like you were fine around him when you were hanging out with other members or friends????? He watched you roast Wonwoo with no hesitation earlier???? But now that it's just you and him you're so shy?????? Get ready for chaotic Jun because he's going to be pulling all of the punches to get you to laugh again. So he tends to approach you carefully when he notices that you're shy around him to make sure that you two are on good terms. He'll actually make an effort to talk more quietly around you and try to sit really still and not make any sudden big movements so he doesn't catch you off guard or upset you. He tries to be as polite as possible and will make a real effort to start enjoyable conversations. Probably asks other people stuff like what movies you like or what songs you listen to so he has something to talk to you about when he sees you.

JEON WONWOO

Pls this is his worst nightmare. He's not confident in handling social situations so when you suddenly get quiet around him, he has no idea what to do. He'll awkwardly blurt out some random questions and cringe inwardly every time it doesn't lead to an actual conversation. He'll wonder what's up since you seemed so confident around other people. Like Soonyoung, he'll worry over you not liking him for some reason. He'll probably actually end up pulling back and letting you approach him in the future so any contact between you two can be on your terms so he knows you're comfortable.

LEE JIHOON

May not fully notice. Jihoon tends to be off in his own world anyways so your mood change around him may fly right over his head. He's not always conscious of people's behaviors and changes in them because of his tendency to zone out. Honestly it's sort of a relief. If you're feeling a little more nervous as you spend one on one time with him, it's almost nice that he seems to continue on with business as usual. It's nice that he won't really point it out or make a big deal of it. He's usually pretty gentle during conversation anyways so it's not like there's anything he's doing to be intimidating. If he notices you being shy, he might get a little shy as well, but he'll do anything he can to make you comfortable and get on your good side.

LEE SEOKMIN

Seokmin is such a people pleaser so you suddenly going quiet is going to be a problem for him. He needs you to like him so much. He's going to figure out what makes you feel the most comfortable around him. Do you want him to take the lead in conversations? Would you prefer he back off a little? Do you like it when he's joking? More serious? He'll test the waters and feel out what brings back your more confident side so he can tell what makes you more comfortable around him. He'll navigate every conversation with care so you'll enjoy talking with him.

KIM MINGYU

Also the type to kind of slip up when this happens. He doesn't know how to continue when you suddenly get shy around him. It highkey gives him butterflies, he thinks it's so cute. So then he's shy around you, leading to him doing awkward things, all while he's trying to help you feel less shy around him. He's a giggling/blushing mess around you 24/7, which definitely helps him seem less intimidating. But he very much genuinely wants you to feel comfortable around him so he'll always be as kind and friendly as possible.

XU MYUNGHO

Myungho takes this in a silent stride. When he notices you suddenly get shy around him, he'll just sort of quietly take note of it. He'll try to encourage your usual sarcastic side to make sure you know he's comfortable with it. If it doesn't seem like it's working, he'll back off and try to take things slow and gentle with you until you feel more comfortable around him one on one. He'd never admit it but he is ecstatic when your sarcastic side starts to show. Any biting remark you have for him is met with a smirk and an equally biting remark. He's fine when you're more shy but he'll feel uneasy himself until you're comfortable around him.

BOO SEUNGKWAN

Seungkwan will have an "oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no" moment when he realizes you're suddenly shy around him. He also wants everyone to like him and be happy around him. He will also wonder if he did something to offend you and be incredibly nervous and unhappy until you're comfortable around him again. He's constantly hesitant when approaching you and then as conversation progresses, he'll pull out the big guns with his humor to get you laughing and hopefully back to your normal self.

VERNON CHWE

This may also go over his head. Vernon isn't always super in tune with the people around him just depending on what's going in his head. He also usually lets the people around him lead conversations anyways, so he'll just follow your vibes conversation to conversation. When you're shy he'll just speak to you casually and keep it light. When your more sarcastic side shows, he'll vamp it up and match your energy (although with him, he'll use sarcasm as a way to casually flirt for sure lol). But overall it's hardly even noticeable to him.

LEE CHAN

Dino probably also gets shy when you get shy. He may not notice your change at first but as soon as he does he just goes "oooooooooh" and then backs way off. He's the type to awkwardly laugh every other sentence when speaking to you, desperate to make sure the conversation feels light and happy. He's not really the best at navigating meeting new people and learning how to connect with them specifically. He's happy to try anything and everything to help you feel more at ease around him, though.

I think the other anon might have missed the main point of the post you have previously shared. Or maybe I'm simply misinterpreting the post. Could be both or neither. Either way, I guess it's not about whether you enjoyed it or not, rather that a key-smash, a constructive criticism or even having a go at a writer is better than a like. Obviously, if you didn't like something, you will not want to leave any sort of reaction, and that's perfectly fine, however, if you feel like a constructive criticism is worth the story then please do take your time to leave one. And if you enjoyed it, please reblog and leave a little note, it could be an emoji, a gif, a key-smash, anything that somehow conveys that you enjoyed the post. You can even reblog the post without a comment. Simply, if you enjoyed it, share it with others. Authors prefer a reblog over a like, because a like is pretty much a bookmark. It does nothing. A reblog helps share your content with other people, a comment makes an author happy or think about what they could improve on, but a like is basically invisible. In a way it's nice to receive a like, but frankly, it doesn't say anything because you might have used it simply to save the post and read later. So the main point is, if you enjoyed something, please reblog. With or without a comment, at this point it doesn't even matter, but please share it.

On a side note, I've been here on Tumblr for a while writing stories after stories. Until I didn't anymore. People keep saying that you have to write because you love it, because you enjoy it. And for a while I did. And, of course, I can't blame it on others, nor do I want to, but it is true that the lack of interaction is incredibly demotivating. I want to write but I can't because part of me is like "for what?" and unfortunately it doesn't matter what I do, it doesn't matter how much I love writing, I simply can't even write anything anymore because that simple "for what?" overrides the "because you enjoy it" part of the writing process. So, if we are being real here, those reblogs are worth everything! Because, sadly, seeing my posts have 1k-2k notes on them only to have 50 reblogs at best is the definition of demotivation. Because, frankly, it makes me think that the other 1k+ people might have liked my fic but not enough to share it, and if they didn't like it enough to share it then it wasn't a good story, and if it wasn't a good story then, frankly, maybe I shouldn't write anymore. Intrusive thoughts are the worst and, of course, noone is responsible for what is in other people's head, so in no way am I blaming people here, I'm simply explaining what the lack of interaction could make an author think and could possibly lead to authors leaving or at last not writing anymore. We've seen it happen over and over again.

I'm sorry for the long ask, I hope I made sense, it's 2am and my brain doesn't function. Anyway, of course, you don't have to share it, I just thought I'd give my little opinion on the subject :)

OKAY OKAY OKAY!

so hi tumblr, long time no see. im now obsessed with yellowjackets and as of lastnight have seen all the eps to air so far.  SPOILERY.. so if your not caught up... read at own risk Although a little creepy for my liking (the eye episode) im loving the show.  what im mainly obsessed with is who the antler people are.  so ive shared a bunch of posts from that scene and similar.  theory time. and please add yours too if you have some or add to mine.  Mari is the one in the pit... i was trying to find black haired girls and there are only a few. My first through was Lottie. but in recent episodes since shes embraced her visions shes become more confident and powerful which makes me think shes the leader, especially more since doomcoming.  now if i am wrong and it is lottie, then maybe its a vision of what is to come? now to the theory about how they select the next victim.  perhaps most of them voted that it will be random, and to give the person a chance they are to run? put in next to nothing and then kinda hunted.  ORRRRR there is 2 groups now. and this girl was separated and put into a hunted situation and let go and this is the results?  along with the scenes where the antler tribe get up to leave.  We already know misty is the one with the long fur drape over her face. she is to the left in the gif i posted.  If lottie is center Queen (because she has visions so Van and the others put her as leader) i think van is to the right, the face coverings the way she had it in Doomcoming maybe is done like that for a reason.  in the promo shots. I thought maybe the little brother is in that too.  I think Van will side with Lottie (the queen in my theory) and Tai is on the other team. separated by survival and a willingness to do what they need to do.  Akilah is someone i havent really factor in due to me not really remembering them in much of the story.  Now to who got out alive.  So far we see Nat, Shauna, Tai, Travis, Misty. --we know misty is on the Antler tribe, but the others...? We know Jackie gets back, according to a reddit post i read, in her journal that Shauna reads through on the birthday, there is movie references from years later. so unless someone wrote in things she might have liked years later, she likely got out of there, and either Committed Sui___, vanished off like travis did but didnt tell her folks, maybe Shauna is responsible. I dont think the little brother is alive in the future or someone would have told him about Travis (misty was all for tracking them down) ORRRRR he is the one behind the murder... (he did go to the séance late to “see what everyone is laughing about”) Shauna is my main suspect for all things odd. We have Tai with her sleeping thing thats been passed onto the son. so shes got an obvious issue.  Nat and her addiction, again, another obvious issue. Misty is all kinds of fucked up nutty, but her reasoning is she does shit so people need her and rely on her. she needs to feel needed. She might be crazy, but its again, obvious.  Shauna killed someone, she sliced into rabbits and deer and isnt too phased at all. She is the silent type you generally have to look out for, ANDDDDD she was the first to be cast and the first on the credit thing on the intro. (if im not mistaken) just makes me think she was cast first because she is secretly leading the entire story.  however it all went down. much like on lost. at the end of it all, no matter what happened while they were there, they all come together to protect eachothers secrets even if they didnt actually do anything bad. thats why even if some of the 2021 women didnt actually cross that line they are still in contact. (think of the attitude the 3 woman have in the later season episodes where they are there for eachother but really arent friendly, but still care)  --one more theory about the 2 group thing, maybe in the beginning someone went missing, groups split up to look, dead of winter, one group finds the missing person and they are dead or close to it, they figure there is no point wasting good meat and only bring back the meat, feed the other group but then its revealed how they got the meat and thats how the 2 groups part... if you have read to this point. thanks. i hope you add to my theories and share some of your own. if not then this is just a way for me to write down my throughts of the show. coz i dont know anyone else who watches it. nor becomes obsessed with shows like this. all the questions and clues to follow.  till next week when i hope they actually expand on the opening scene a bit more.

i didnt want to have to make this post, but since it has come to this, here we go.

so one day a few weeks ago i woke up to a bunch of messages from people that someone, (who at that time i didn't even know the user or their blog), had claimed that i took gifs from them and recolored them. their ‘proof’ was that my gifs and theirs had the same ‘grain’ and ‘motion blur’ and therefore i had stolen them. naturally i was really shocked to have woken up to this and tried to prove my innocence to all these people, even talking FOR HOURS to prove i was not an elephant and that i make my own stuff. countless times i told these people i was willing to screen record myself while i edit to prove i make them myself. despite this, they said that they do believe i make my own edits so there would be no need for that, but still insisted that i took these specific gifs to add to my set. i even gave this person the benefit of the doubt admitting that my gifs did in fact look quite similar(i did use blur and sharpness in the gifs, nevertheless, since it had been a long time since i made that set i didnt remember the exact settings), but knowing my truth i have not stolen them. (sometime later i learnt from a friend that the gifs i 'stole' were from more than 2 years ago). 

a big issue i had was that they sent other ppl to talk to me on their behalf whilst not directly confronting me about this matter. other than the things i mentioned above, i really had no way to prove i was innocent at this stage. since they would not accept my reasons, i felt they werent willing to listen to my side of things and had already made up their minds long before they confronted me. this matter had already been spread amongst many people (and across a whole server i believe) and they had only reached out to me having made up their mind. i understand being protective of ur work, but the confidence with which they concluded i stole from them was so overbearing, i ended up getting angry. In retrospect, maybe i should have respected their feelings more, so in good faith and after much thought, i deleted the post that was the cause of all this, since its presence made them uncomfortable (this is a compromise on my part, but does not mean im going to admit to sth i havent done).

as one can imagine, this really took a toll on my mental health. it was such a shock to be accused of something i havent done, especially since tumblr has always been one of my safe spaces. out of the blue i was accused of something i have always spoken up against (reposting, stealing content) and no matter how much i tried to defend myself and tell myself i have nothing to hide, i was already noticing none of those people would be open minded and listen to anything i had to say. i thought i could keep creating as normal since i know my innocence and truth, but when some of my mutuals and friends started believing this person without a second thought, kicking me out of events and sideblogs without even talking to me about it, it made me absolutely devastated. (ofc i wont name anyone, since this isnt a call out post. i also chose to leave a certain blog and event on my own, cause i didnt feel safe being in that environment anymore, so pls dont assume).

The thing is, i really did not care if people i didn't even know believed these lies  about me, since i myself know im not guilty. but the fact that people i considered 'friends' didn't even bat an eyelash and very easily believed one side of the story rather than listen to both sides is what absolutely crushed me. after the incident, i decided to take a break from this site to see if i can get my confidence back. Now im starting to feel a bit better and ready to make this post. thanks to the support of people who have reached out and stood by me, i was able to become a lot more hopeful about returning to tumblr. I love love these people so much and they made me see who my true friends are.

moving on from negative situations has never been easy for me, but i’d like to try since its the new year and i still love this site. Creating is an enjoyable and relaxing hobby for me, so i really want to continue doing what i love. im aware that my creations are not be the best out there and im still learning, still trying to find my distinct unique style. but i just want to make it clear that i would NEVER steal from anyone. i have always tried to support as many creators as possible and i value everything that goes into creating, cause i know first hand how hard it can be(even tho i’ve only been editing since may). 

lastly i just want to say thank you if u read this far! this post is in no way a means to call out anyone or create drama, i just couldnt stay silent anymore, i needed to get this out and make my side of things clear. the people who accused me and those who believed them no longer affect me and i hope the same goes for them. you can choose to believe what you want and act accordingly, but I hope that, after reading this post and listening to my side of things, you can approach this situation with an open mind. I also hope tumblr can become a more positive place for creators again and that we dont tackle these issues the way this one was handled. since the tumblr community is so small already, i think we as creators should come together, rather than cause tension with each other.❤︎

You step out onto your front porch, a glass of lemonade in your hand. Taking a sip you watched as JJ pushed the mower across the front lawn. He was early this morning. He’d discarded his shirt and you could see the beats of sweat along his back, along with the muscles work. He was handsome, no doubt about that.

Stepping back inside before he saw you, you went and grabbed a cold-water bottle from the fridge and headed back out. “Hey!” You called out as you walked to JJ through the fresh cut grass.

He turned around and then bent down to turn off the mower, “Hey. Everything okay?”

You nod, holding a water bottle to him, “You need to stay hydrated.”

He takes it and generously gulps it down, “Thank you.” He can’t help himself; he lets his eyes wonder down your body. He’d always thought you were beautiful. This was the one house on figure 8 he didn’t mind working out in the heat for. You were always the nicest to him too. He knew you two could never be anything. He was a pogue and you were a kook.

“You’re here early this morning. I almost missed you.” You push your sunglasses over your head.

“Yeah, I got a few more yards to get done today, so I wanted to get an early start.” He wipes the back of his hand over his forehead, leaving a small piece of grass.

“You.. you got a little,” stepping closer your slowly brought your hand to his forehead and grabbed the grass.

He watched as you leaned in, your strawberry shampoo leaving off a fragrance. He could see you had freckles along your cheeks and a small scar over your eyebrow, something he’d never noticed. He’d also never been this close to you. You were close enough he could lean in-

“Y/n!” Your dad yelled.

He’d watched as you jumped at your dad calling your name, your demeanor changing. You jumped back, looking at him and faking a smile, “yes?”

“Your mother needs help on the back porch. Leave the yard boy alone.” He took a sip of whatever was in a glass. JJ wondered if it was alcohol. His dad drank early in the mornings too. Your family was perfect though, nothing like his family.

You turned back around, “Sorry, I gotta go.”

JJ nods, “Yeah, I gotta get back to work.” He stuffs the water bottle in his back pocket, “Thanks for the water.”

You slip your glasses back over your face, nodding, “of course.” You flashed him a smile and headed back to the house. He took a moment to watch you. No one else would have caught it, but he did. He saw it because he does the same thing; the small flinch when your dad put his hand on your shoulder.

JJ took a sip of the red solo cup as he surveyed the beach. It was a Friday night, you were always on the beach for these parties, kook boys following you around like a bunch of lost puppies, but he hadn’t spotted you.

“You looking for someone?” John B asked from next to him.

He takes another sip, “No.”

“He is. He’s looking for y/n.” Kie smirks, sitting on the other side of JJ.

“The girl you cut grass for?” Pope asks.

“She’s just usually here.” JJ shrugs, standing.

“Maybe she has other plans than party on the beach like we all do.” Kie says, “I mean she’s a kook. Her family probably took their private jet to the Bahamas for the weekend or something.”

“Her family is literally the definition of perfect.” Pope adds, “I deliver groceries there every Tuesday and I don’t think I’ve ever seen any dirt in their house. I mean the place is spotless. Same with the yard.”

JJ takes another look around the beach, “I don’t know if they’re perfect. No one’s perfect.” He looks at Pope, “Can I tag along Tuesday to help deliver groceries?”

“So, you can see her?” John B smirks, “Dude, you’re so whipped for her.”

JJ rolls his eyes, “No, because I need the extra cash.”

Kie hums, “Sure, JJ. Okay.” She does the whip motion with her hands.

Okay so he did need the extra cash but also because he needed a reason to see you. He wouldn’t be back at your house until Friday to work on the lawn and he wanted to see you before then. There was something not sitting right with him and he wanted to check on you. Obviously, he can’t just show up to your house, so delivering groceries to your house with Pope? Not suspicious at all.

“I got this, Pope.” JJ says, grabbing the groceries and stepping off the dock.

Pope nods, sitting down, “Good, cause I could use a break.”

JJ heads up the dock to the house, glancing around. The yard was perfect. Nothing was out of place. Maybe he just did a good job? Even after the rainstorm last night, you’d think there would be some debris from the trees, but there was nothing. He steps up on the front porch and knocks.

You slip down the stairs, wrapped in a blanket, but your dad beats you to the door. When he opens it, it’s JJ standing there with groceries. “Delivery.” JJ holds the groceries up.

Your dad nods, opening the door, “Just set it in the kitchen.”

He glances at you as he walks by. He wonders if you’d been crying. He could see your face was splotchy and red.

“I’ll take him to the kitchen.” You say to your dad, who waves you off before stepping back into another room and closing the door. You motion for JJ to follow you, “Pope okay today?”

“Huh?” He asks, following you.

“Pope. He’s usually the one who delivers the groceries. Is he okay?” You motion to the island, “you can just set them there.”

“Oh yeah.” He sets the groceries on the island, “I needed the extra cash is all. So, I tagged along.”

You nod, “Tell him I said hey.” You look through the fridge, grabbing two coconut waters, “And give him one of these. He likes them.”

“Coconut water?” JJ asks, raising an eyebrow at you.

You laugh a little nodding, “I keep it around for Pope when he delivers. He likes them.”

JJ shakes his head, “Pope likes coconut water.” He chuckles, “Alright I’ll give him one.” He starts to step away from you but turns back around, “You weren’t at the boneyard Friday night.”

“Keeping tabs on me, Maybank?” You smirk, raising an eyebrow.

JJ blushes, “I just..”

You laugh, putting a hand on his arm, “It’s okay. I um.. I had something come up.” You slip a piece of hair behind your ear.

“Oh. Okay… well I better get going.”

“See you on Friday?” You ask, following him to the door.

He opens it and turns to you, “Bright and early Friday morning.” He smiles and you return the smile, “Bye JJ.” Your voice is soft, almost like it would burst into tears.

He didn’t want to leave but he pushed himself out the door, “Bye y/n.” and stepped off the porch. Pope was right, the house was perfect and clean. Too perfect. I mean there wasn’t anything out of place. As he makes his way back to the dock, he takes one last glance at the house to see your dad standing at the window, watching him.
