After watching the rebuild movies a couple of years ago I finally gave NGE+EoE a try and like...I would have loved answers for the 100 questions that popped up honestly. The ending wasn't my cup of tea. For such a famous anime, I hoped it would be better?

I still dont get it #what was the deal with Lilith Adam and the engels #when they brought up Rei III why was she beaten up? Did they just beat her up to make the story plausible?#did everyone in NERV know about Gendo's plan and agreed with it?#why are Asuka and Shinji the only two alive in the end? even though Asuka was even killed previously?#how did Asuka's mom and Yui's souls get into the EVAs? Did every EVA have a soul inside?#why were the angels attacking Tokyo to begin with? when Misato says humanity is the 14th angel or whatever #what was the 1st impact?#and more importantly WHAT HAPPENED TO PEN PEN??
