Oh god so many, I thought this fic up with the ending coming like a week later and so much came up in between that got scrapped into the Outtake Doc for any later use.

I have a list of my minds bullcrap, hold up, gotta dig through the receipts

In absolutely no particular order-

Back when we met Pinky I planned to reveal the whole Vasquez extended Marvel family through a statue for each Marvel at the park, one basically guarding each path that all branched out of the center area Billy’s was at. By then I had already made plans to make the Sins and maybe Blaze a looming Big Bad so I had a concept of the statues having their own importance sometime in the final confrontation I have planned (bc we gotta have one, I love comics and comic are all about that big payoff fight) but that got scrapped for the longer buildup and the timeline I refined to make them heroes for too short a time to get such big memorials

One more overarching idea was to make the Batfam more hostile to Cap, not liking the situation as much as he wasn’t and not getting along well. I wanted to start off with a lighter note so I changed peoples tune

Was going to have a moment of some Batfam like Tim and Steph (who were involved with YJ) asking about Freddy and wanting to catch up with him, with the allusion to the Marvels being more tight knit with Billy seeming like the exception given how much he seems to travel more than his siblings.

One scrapped scene that might make a comeback with some editing is Bruce as Cap joining Pinky on a pre-planned stake out/take down, with more than a couple of playful jabs that “Look at us! The redder versions of you and Krypto-boy!” Plus some more Pinky love bc that kid was insane (like every Fawcett character honestly)

Actually cut the Katabasis chapter down; had an outline and some paragraphs done of Tim destroying SBP and getting a whack at him with a lot of unhealthy pent up issues that I doubt fully got resolved after the Everything™️ that was The Teen Years Of Tim Drake

Dick was supposed to have a scene visiting Damian in the hospital first but plans very obviously changed and I added a Dick & Billy focused bonding-ish chapter

Two things with Lucy’s reveal actually, was gonna have her book be a redo of the old Owlman and Pulchinella characters from Harley’s failed romance novel now turned turned adventure novel but changed it to basically be personally made story of a Lucy like sidekick to Capitano (Billy). More endearing to me to have Harley making books like she always wanted to that are aimed for her daughter’s wild imagination and Billy helping in recommending them. Also was going to have Lucy jokingly call Bruce-as-Billy “Batsy” as a riff on Billy’s last name and Bruce in his stupidly big brain for everything criminal put some pieces together about how she said that name and the kind of smile+laugh she’s got but have no chance to say anything before the doors shut. Just to fuck with him more

Was going to have Kit and Jason have a chat when Jason first woke up, with Kit realizing who the guy he scared unconscious was and adding my long desired “Oh this ghost is a kid I accidentally avenged by murdering a guy.” Moment. Will never forget that Jason killed Captain Nazi, top tier stuff to mess with

I had another small villain confrontation idea in Mr. Banjo Jr leading a crime spree parade, even had lyrics for him to sing about sticking it to the man I even named (bc I am insane at all times) “Rebel souls unfold” to work in more of a Music Miester-y way in leading the brainwashed Fawcettizens in attacking Bruce-as-Billy, all with lyrics of Banjo Jr hyping himself up and making it sound like a revolt against heroes. Honestly a lot of fun thinking up but it never got to the writing stage for a scene and I don’t know where I’d put it now that things are getting serious. I’ll probably post it when I have a full list of scraped concepts when this monster of a fic is finally over, haha

There are a lot of scrapped ideas I feel confident in including later and other ones I want to foam at the mouth about with everyone but are all spoilers so aaaAAHHH but I continue on! Considering how much Joss Whedon has displayed his allegiance to Marvel comics, I wonder how he feels about so many of his former cast members working on DC comics productions?

Nathan Fillion played Vigilante (among others) on JLU, Steven Trevor in the Wonder Woman animated film, and has since played Hal Jordan in several animated projects.

Morena Baccarin played Talia al Ghul in the DCAMU, plays Leslie Thompkins on Gotham, and was the original voice for Gideon on The Flash.

Adam Baldwin Played Jonah Hex in Justice League Unlimited, Superman in Superman: Doomsday, Metamorpho on Beware the Batman, Patasite in Young Justice, Hal Jordan in Injustice, and had several roles in JLU.

Alan Tudyk played Barry Allan on Batman: the Brave and the Bold, Green Arrow on Young Justice and a couple of video games, Superman in Justice League: War, and played Van Wayne on Poweless.

Once more, she could feel a part of her dying inside. Though they weren't together, they at least had a bond that no one else had - a bond of being created together in Eden.

She wasn't sure why, but she felt like there was a major part of her heart and soul was gone forever. This war, or whatever it was..it was pulling on heartstrings that were making it oh so difficult to continue on through the day without breaking into tears. Every loss felt like a dagger to the chest.

She places a hand over her heart, a wave of sadness and a piece of her heart gone hollow as a few tears trickled down the side of her cheek.

"Adam..."

She has no idea what song he is singing but she's just going to pat Adam's head. Soft silly angel bean being silly. "You keep singing to your heart's content dear. Just don't go actually breaking bottles. That's my job.~"

Lilith gives his cheek a brief kiss, encouraging him to be as random as he'd like.

There would be hissing of pain within his mind. Oh, Asaroth certainly felt the burn of Heaven through Adam's hold. It was enough to bend the demon to his knees, no longer wishing to feel the scorn of an angel who's anger could match -even go beyond his own.

The blade would shake in Adam's hand before he would hear five words. "As you wish, my liege." A wave of blue flames wash from the blade as heavy black armor covers Adam. It is form fitting, but not tight. Onyx steel plate covering him, along with the crown of his wings. "My legions of 30 score are at your disposal, my liege. We await your word.."

{ Acquired Armor: Holy Avenger Full Plate -> Immune to Hellfire -> Resist first hit of elemental damage ->Grants Dark Vision -> Demon blood spilled on armor heals owner

Lilith just stares in awe of Adam and the blade. She just takes a moment to flip the blade off. "Sexist bastard. I knew he hated me..but hey, looks like you've got an upgrade. Not half bad. At least you can have your ass covered out there."

Oh, now the damn thing fucked up. 'You're in an awful position to be asking for anything you know. There's two things you gotta know about me...'

Adam's hands heat up with holy light, he wondered if the demon could still feel the pain of Heaven within itself or not.

'One. No one get's to call Lilith a bitch except when I'm railing her like she's under my control. And two...' His hands heat up even more, edging on a melting point for the now blue blade.

'...I don't make deals with Demons. Ever. You will submit to my rule whether you like it or not. Got it?'

Hugs time? Hugs time. Adam wraps his arms around Lilith and gives her a nice warm hug.

Oh! She's..getting a hug from Adam. Well this is nice. A little shocked, but very much appreciative of the hug.

Lilith slowly wraps her arms around him and hugs Adam back. She held him close for a moment before resting her head on his shoulder, holding him tighter.

"Thank you, Adam. You..have no idea how much I needed this."

At least he's one angel she could count on to not talk shit about her physical appearance..she hopes.

"Adam misses me? That's weird. I gotta admit...that's a first." she places a hand over her heart. There was a faint scar over her heart where she was stabbed. It may not be entirely visible to the naked eye but the Blade of Astroth never branded just skin - it branded one's soul as well and she could always feel that burn whenever she had a moment to herself.

But she would never hold that grudge over him. That was something she asked him to do so she wouldn't be a weak Queen when the time came. A soft sigh left her lips.

"...I sorta miss him too. Hah..not like he would believe me though."

They were distant again, weren’t they? Not like it was really their faults. Well… Yea it kinda was. Adam was… Not in the right frame of mind, but who was? But Lilith? Who knew what the fuck she was thinking. She really held a ton of shit in. Didn’t she?

A deep inhale, a movement of a step closer to her, arms wrapping around her. There could have been any number of things going on, he didn’t know and he didn’t need to all he knew was that something off. What ever it was, if she wanted to share, then fine. If not, then she didn’t need to.

Once those arms of his was around her, next was his wings. She probably didn’t remember the last time he had done this for her, that didn’t matter too much. She got it again. A small moment, just between the two of them, no one else can see but him. She got to be just Lilith, not a queen, not the weight of all of hell on her shoulders. Just Lilith. And he would stay like that for her. Whether she needed a minute or an hour. Whether she needed to cry or to be held.

Adam just wanted… To help. Even a little.

The last time she was in his arms like this, it was before all this madness started. The tests, the pointed blame, the stress of it all.

Being Queen was not as easy as it looked, nor was it to be a mother or a wife.

She held it all in until his wings covered them. Lilith hadn't spoken to Lucifer about how she felt when she was gone; how lost and terrified she was after she died. Not only did they have little time, but she had her doubts that he would want to hear how scared she was. There was a small part of her that wondered if she really would come back. Lilith's shoulders started to shake as she started to silently cry for a moment. Letting out all her worries, her concerns and her fears. Her own arms wrap around him as she cried softly.

You know, she hated it when God was right. . . .

It was the eve of war and Lilith was doing a mental head count of who was working with them. Who all was involved in Heaven and Hell in the fight.

After recently witnessing Adam not only a demon duke in a matter of minutes, but getting a new set of armor that protected him and his wings.

Cheap ass bastard. She was feeling a bit of jealousy towards the upgrade Adam received but honestly, he deserved it. After the Hell she put him through recently..he needed that armor more than she did. Hopefully it would serve him well - the demon legion and duke at his whim too. She could hear the whimpers from where she stood from the demon as Adam influenced the blade with holy magic.

Yeah...she could feel that burn herself, even wincing at the sight.

Looking at her own situation, she had an angel at her fingertips with new armor made in a beautiful craft and the hundred and one angels able to help should she call for him.

Damn it.

Be it on purpose or not, that's how things turned out.

They kept the balance between Heaven and Hell.

She really hated it when God was right.

Hopefully it would aid them in the future..

She was surprised that he returned the embrace, but she hugged him tightly. A cracked smile crept over her lips as he welcomed her back.

"Thanks..for looking after Charlie and..doing me a favor. I owe you one."

Lilith paused, looking at his face. Still bruised from what she could imagine was a beating from her husband. He hits hard and leaves marks. She knows his work anywhere. There's a mix of pride and sorrow for the marks.

"Sorry about Luci..He's still trying to cope with what happened. Ah..and that blade I handed you, there weren't any voices in your head afterwards..were they?"
