#dick falls for the bird lady and adopts her de aged half living brother

I’m kinda tired but here’s a little of what I’m thinking

Dick is contacted by the Titans when Raven picks up 2 very strong magical beings. Idk why, they just needed him there for some reason.

The place is a weird maze that messes with your mind as strongly as fear gas, thankfully Dick has experience with that kind of thing.

At the center he finds a really little kid sleeping in a strange nest made of feathers as long as his arm and shadows stronger than steel.

“You got a birdy on your chest, like Sissy.” The meta kid with the biggest most trusting eyes and dark eye bags says when Dick checks on him. “Yeah? Birds are pretty awesome.”

The maze straightens out on his way out, Danny cozy in his arms. Dick is having a hard time not getting attached, sleepy Danny is just going on about all kinds of things and really nothing.

The communicator goes off with a worrying yell at the exit, running out Dick and Danny see the Titans fighting a huge approximation of a bird-person-demon. “Jazz, Jazz! Look I made a friend!”

The Bird-human-demon immediately drops the fight and rushes to the pair, the rage melts away as the little kid makes grabby hands at the beast and it plucks him from Dick’s arms. “Yeah, my Snowbird? That’s great!”

More of her human-demon features become visible as she rocks and bounces Danny gently in her arms, eyes as bright and grabbing as turquoise softening as she listens to his rambles.

Eldritch jazz

So while jazz was alive danny was taken by the GIW and jazz tries her best to free him.

But shes too late.

Afew years after danny was taken jazz finds the lab where danny should be kept at, she goes in and looks around, but instead she finds ruins and dust.

There are scratches and burn and frozen blaster burns everywhere, there was a fight but she dosent know who or what happened.

Thats where she hits a dead end, there are no more leads, no information, no witnesses, nothing.

Nothing to tell her where her baby brother went, the only thing there is a list of experments they ran on danny over the years, she couldnt get half way through the list before crying, thinking that her, sweet sarcastic little brother had to go through all that.

She lives her life half alive after that.

She married, got her PhD, had kids she adored and became a very respected woman in Phylogey. But she wasent always there

When she died her only regret was that she dosent know what happened to danny.

And became something other, when she passed, something strong and brutal.

Her ghostly obsession was to find and care for her brother or at the very least find out what happened to him.

She in her eldritch form traveled the infinite realms and found out that her brother is alive (dead) and was taken somewhere by something that took advantage that he was weak from experimentation.

She went on a rampage in the deserted lands when she found that out.

With the knowledge that her brother was in existence and possibly still suffering after all these years made her obssession roar and scream.

After months she managed to get a realm and name to where her brother is.

Klarion took her brother when he was in pain amd couldnt fight

And DC was the name of the universe her brother is in.

She found this klarion easily.

He liked to make a show of himself, show off his power and act like a spoiled 10 year old.

And he was using danny as a batery

He used her brother as a batery to fule his power.

She tore in apart in more ways than one, being a phyciatritrist had its percs

And for the fist time in years she saw her brother, his form has changed, now a 5 year old versin of himself, with blue galaxys in his eyes, pitch black hair and the most snow skin she's ever seen, but hes her brother and he's here with her now. And for the first time in its existence her core purred.

She changer too, after her death and over the years, her form was more of a concept then his was, like a bird and person together.

She picked up her baby brother and created a nest of sourts to keep him safe. She stayed with him for months, not leaving his side, jazz was glad danny seemed to recognise her even after all these years.

But she had to leave, she needed to cheak on afew of her informats and she didnt trust them around her baby brother. So she decided to leave him for a moment, an hour at most, just so he wouldnt become too co-dependent on her.

She shouldnt have left.

It was 30 minutes after she left that she felt it.

There were other people in her nest.

There were dangerous people around her still recovering baby brother. Her core and obssession driving and giving her more strength to get to him faster.

Whoever decided to get close to her baby brother is about to feel the furry of an older sister.

But what happens afterwards? Like do they, the Titans, end up deciding to let Jazz and Danny stay? Because there’s no way that anyone would feasibly be able to get past Jazz’s defenses. And even then, if they did get past her defenses and maze Jazz would definitely be able to take care of any and all threats.

Also, if Danny is still considered the Ghost King, that would now make Jazz the Mother Queen. Because 1) she’s his blood relative 2) he trusts her to take care of him 3) Danny’s royal council had deemed it necessary when Jazz first found Danny. This would then give Jazz a lot of power, both politically and ghostly, until Danny is back to a state where he can take over ruling again.

Though, now that Jazz is fully dead, would she even want to start a relationship? Let alone with someone who is still alive and has a high chance of not becoming a ghost? I also think that she goes back to their home dimension to check up on her kids, grandkids, and other descendants. So I think that she would also still have a flame of love for her husband from her living life. He didn’t have the same level of ecto-contamination as she did so he didn’t become a ghost. This actually hurt Jazz a lot more than she thought it would and she ended up taking a vow to never fall in love or start a relationship with someone who was still living. That kind of pain was something that she did not want to go through again.

Now with Danny, he stays as a small child for a long time. Like a really long time. Maybe he doesn’t show any signs or aging at all for five to ten, maybe even fifteen, years. This amount of time to a ghost is nothing, if anything it’s actually a very healthy timeline that he’s following. They go to Frostbite just to make sure that there isn’t anything wrong with Danny after so many years of being captured and abused. There could also be days where Danny looks and acts like himself before all of the events had happened. Those days are better but they never last long.
