DAI

This game...never ceases to amaze me. After playing over 2.7k hours of it, and taking Solas to the meeting in Redcliffe, today I heard this comment of Solas for the first time. Ever.

(after meeting Alexius in the tavern, the Herald reads the note)

Herald: “Come to the Chantry. You are in danger.”

Solas: “The note is unsigned.”

Solas: “The boy feared his father may retrieve it.”

Dear readers...

as time goes by, I imagine some of you are anxious to see the updates of the fanfics I write. So, I thought I'd give you a summary of what's happening and going to happen in the coming months. 

 Triss' story in "Ma vhenan ma ghilana" (Follow your heart) will continue. I try to stay away from DAI at the moment to take a so much needed break from Solas. It also affects my writing. The updates are going to get very slow. I have the general outline of the story but I'm not into that universe at the moment.

 "Harel Deliss" was supposed to be a six-lessons story. Which now turned out to be a longer one. It skips period of time, events that happen behind scenes, and some considerable amount of 'filling the blanks' is required of you as readers. Treat the story as separate lessons rather than a consistent day-to-day recounting of events. More lessons will come, that's for sure. 

 And finally, "Unexpected"; the one I thought would never gain any recognition or acceptance from the Solavellan tribe. I have built a world where anything is possible; the magic meets the technology and they both co-exist. Also, giving our apostate a moment to breathe before the inevitable fight for the betterment of his kind. I plan on finishing this story before the end of March. There's only four THREE chapters left and they have been outlined and planned. Keep your eyes open for the updates then!

Unexpected.  Chapter 23.

--> Choices that matter.

Sweet. Sweat. Strawberry with a hint of vanilla. He tastes it on his tongue while placing slow kisses along her shoulder up to her neck. She shivers and his arm tightens around her midriff in response. Hmmm, he needs to do it more often.

Beware .They are on vacation, holiday, it’s their free time. lOt of indulgence and free time. written from Solas POV; really hard to resist. Smut and frilly cakes to appear. Beware!

Since I’ve discovered the fabulous flycam tool for DAI I have been taking so many of them. But I learned a lot since I started. 

Definitely 2016 was a year were I focused on characters rather than scenery. And I think they are my best.

“When I create a female Lavellan OC I tend to apply the vallaslin at the end. As I would like to know how she would look without it {...} just in case Solas would be allowed to take it off. There’s always a possibility for her to change her mind along the way.”

There's a high chance that I'll update the "Unexpected" tonight. There's only 5 chapters to go, so the plot will thicken and the lingering questions will be answered... and more questions will be asked... and so on. Fingers crossed you're going to like it!

Holiday time

So that's it. I have scheduled some Solas posts to keep you company while I'm away on holiday. Please take care of him, he requires some regular hugging and long talks at night, you can also bring him some books to read or recommend films to watch. Anyway, see you soon!

12 nights without Solas?

So, this is a tiny bit a silly post... but hey ;) I’ll be going on holiday soon. It is great to have some time off work and relax. I'll be at sea most of the time, so very limited access to Internet. I will continue to write but... The question that’s been bothering me is: how will I survive twelve days without DAI?? And Solas?

Ideas? Advice?

On a bright side of things: next chapter of ‘Unexpected’ has been written. So, it’s quite possible I will post it on the weekend... unless I change my mind and decide I need to re-write it. *humpf*
