"Canada's parliament has passed a bill that that will cover the full cost of contraception and diabetes drugs for Canadians.
The Liberal government said it is the initial phase of a plan that would expand to become a publicly funded national pharmacare programme.
The government estimates one in five Canadians struggle to pay for prescription drugs.
The federal government still has to negotiate individual funding commitments with Canada's provinces and territories.
A report from parliament's budget watchdog estimates this bill will increase federal spending by C$1.9bn ($1.3bn; £1bn) over the next five years.
Canadians currently pay for prescription drugs through a mix of private, public and out-of-pocket plans.
The programme will cover 100% of the cost of diabetes and contraception medication for those who do not have drug plan coverage, and out-of-pocket costs for those who do.
The federal government estimates that nine million Canadian women of reproductive age will have access to common types of contraception under the plan.
Birth-control pills and IUDs can cost between C$100 and C$300 a year.
The Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada hailed the ball as a "historic achievement".
"Women across the country will be able to make choices about contraception based on what's best for their lives, not their wallets," it said.
In addition, some 3.7 million Canadians have been diagnosed with diabetes.
Diabetes drugs covered include insulin - for people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, which can cost between C$900 and C$1,700 a year - and Metformin, which helps lower blood sugar levels for people with type 2 diabetes.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the bill's passage "real progress" and urged provinces to quickly move forward with signing agreements.
The federal health minister has said he hopes that some provinces will have the plan in place by the end of this year, with all on board by next spring."

The pharmacare bill that was central to a political pact between the Liberals and NDP received royal assent on Thursday night and has now become law. The legislation — which passed in the Senate without any amendments — will inform the creation of any future national, universal pharmacare plan. It will also allow the government to sign deals with provinces and territories to cover diabetes and birth-control medications as part of the public health system.

Bog Queen
I lay waiting between turf-face and demesne wall, between heathery levels and glass-toothed stone. My body was braille for the creeping influences: dawn suns groped over my head and cooled at my feet, through my fabrics and skins the seeps of winter digested me, the illiterate roots pondered and died in the cavings of stomach and socket. I lay waiting on the gravel bottom, my brain darkening, a jar of spawn fermenting underground dreams of Baltic amber. Bruised berries under my nails, the vital hoard reducing in the crock of the pelvis. My diadem grew carious, gemstones dropped in the peat floe like the bearings of history. My sash was a black glacier wrinkling, dyed weaves and phoenician stitchwork retted on my breasts' soft moraines. I knew winter cold like the nuzzle of fjords at my thighs– the soaked fledge, the heavy swaddle of hides. My skull hibernated in the west nest of my hair.
Which they robbed. I was barbered and stripped by a turfcutter’s spade
who veiled me again and packed coomb softly between the stone jambs at my head and my feet.
Till a peer’s wife bribed hil. The plait of my hair, a slimy birth-cord of bog, had been cut
and I rose from the dark, hacked bone, skull-ware, frayed stitches, tufts, small gleams on the bank.
Seamus Heaney, North, 1975
Saoirse reckoned that at this stage, there was more caffeine in her organism than blood, or water, or any other normal component of her body. She was made of cheap coffee, her brain buzzing with chemicals and lack of sleep. At this point, her entire body was trembling…
By her side, Sean wasn’t much better. He had been procrastinating, and now he was paying the price with too much to be done in too little time.
Damn, exam season was something else… A new kind of hell, no doubt…
The library was about to close, that was how late it was. They gathered their stuff five minutes before closing time, and headed for the night. The cold burned Saoirse’s cheeks, although for once it wasn’t raining. It was snowing, instead… how great… she could get frozen and wet…
“Christ’s sake, don’t tell me it’s fucking raining again,” Sean complained behind her.
“It’s snowing.”
“No better. God, my feet are gonna be soaked.”
She looked down at his old boots, the leather visibly tired.
He heaved a sigh.
“Want to eat something before we go to our dorms?”
“A burger. Something that will give me diabetes and cholesterol just by looking at it.”
“Fuck yeah… extra fries too.”
“Of course!”
She almost slipped as they climbed down the few steps leading to the library, and Sean held her hand to steady her. They were both wearing gloves, and yet she felt warmth spread through her fingers as he held her. At the bottom of the steps, they didn’t let go, merely walked across the campus in silence, their feet making the thin layer of white snow crack under each of their steps. It was late, barely anyone was around anymore. Streetlights were tainting the snow a yellowish white, and the world was quieter than usual. It was a special power of the snow to make the world slow down, to make everything quiet. Saoirse was thinking about her exams though, about the book she had to finish for your class, about the notes she had to read again about Yeat’s poetry, and there was this essay she had to finish…
Both of them looked up when a voice rose over the stillness of the night.
“ANDY! LOOK! IT’S FUCKING SNOWING!”
Saoirse recognised you instantly, you were hurrying out of a building, arms spread open and face up to meet the falling snowflakes. You were laughing.
And then another silhouette came out of the same building as you, so tall it was easy to recognise Pr. H-B. He was laughing too, watching you enjoy the snow, his deep voice rumbling through the night.
“I see that,” he nodded, readjusting his man bun under his beanie.
“I hope it won’t melt too fast,” you pouted, looking at the white that covered the grounds, the leaves of the bushes, the empty branches of the trees, the wooden benches. “I want to make a snowman. And a proper one!”
“I want to send a snowball right into your face.”
You exploded with laughter, and he broke into a teasing grin.
“And I thought you were a peaceful lad!” you teased, reaching up to pinch his side, which made him giggle more like a boy than a grown man.
“Never said that I was!”
“You softy…”
You shook your head at him, let the snow fall on your cheeks and your closed eyelids again. Nor you nor Andrew seemed to have noticed Saoirse and Sean though, as they slowly kept on walking across the grounds, looking at their professors’ silly behaviour from afar.
“Christ, I’m freezing… let’s go! I’m starving.”
“So, you’re really going to cook for me tonight?”
“Yeah, I can make you something decent,” Andrew nodded, already turning in the direction of the carpark.
He groaned.
“God, I have to take Elwood for a walk. Fuck…”
“We can go together! It’ll be fun!”
“It’ll be fun to freeze our arses outside? Don’t worry, I’ll do it. You’ll catch your death.”
Saoirse saw you bending over a bench to gather snow in your hand. Not much, but a handful. You crept behind Andrew, went on your tiptoes before pulling on his scarf and pressing the snow against the back of his neck. He yelped, jumping in surprise and cursing like a sailor while he wiggled to get as much snow out of his scarf as he could, while you laughed so hard you were bending over and losing your balance.
“Fuck you!” he groaned, and yet there was a breathy laughter in his voice. “I’ll pay you back for that…”
He hurried towards the nearest bench, gathered some snow as well, but you were running off already, laughing. He ran after you, laughing as well, and managed to throw his snow ball to hit the back of your head. You yelped and doubled with laughter at the contact, but then you slipped, were falling on the icy ground.
Saoirse and Sean both gasped as they saw you falling, but heaved a relieved sigh when Andrew bent down and managed to catch you before you would hit the ground.
“Christ! You’re okay?” he asked with genuine worry, and you looked up at him as he pulled you upright again.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Thanks,” you mumbled as you found back your footing. “That was a nice shot, by the way.”
“One of my many talents, I’m a killer in snowball fights.”
“Your tall arse also must make for a very good target.”
“Depends, I can easily disappear. I just pretend to be a scarecrow, nobody notices me.”
You laughed at that, and so he smiled.
“Let’s go home,” he spoke in a softer tone.
Saoirse noticed that he was still holding onto your arms, she noticed the longing that appeared across his features for a moment when you pulled away, the way he stared at you as you started walking again, babbling about dinner and hoping he wouldn’t poison you. And then he blinked, seemed to find back the use of his muscles, and followed you.
Saoirse stared at the pair of you walking away, a smile forming on her lips.
“What are you thinking about?” Sean asked, noticing mischief in her eyes.
“He likes her.”
“What?”
“H-B. He has a crush on Y/L/N.”
“What are you talking about?”
“Haven’t you seen what just happened? The longing?!”
But Sean blinked, and she heaved a sigh as she pulled him further across the grounds, aiming for the large portal and the busy street of Dublin.
“Men…” she mumbled, shaking her head.
“ELWOOD!”
You had barely passed the door that you knelt to greet Andrew’s dog, generously petting him and complimenting him for no other reason than the fact that he was an incredibly good boy.
You didn’t see the grin on Andrew’s features as he looked at you, the warmth that made his cheeks turn a brighter shade of pink.
“Yes! I’m so happy to see you too! It’s been weeks! I’ve missed you!” you cooed, scratching him behind his ears, and Elwood happily wiggled his tail.
He excitedly licked your hands and cheeks, making you laugh.
“Alright, alright, that’s enough,” Andrew chuckled, bending to scratch his dog’s head as well, diverting his attention so you could stand again.
You made a mental note to buy Elwood a toy, next time you would come over. He was too adorable, deserved all the treats and gifts…
“Alright, I’ll go cook us something.”
“What have you planned?”
“Erm… I can do a decent pasta dish if you want. Like… with a sauce and everything.”
“Hmm… sounds nice!”
You followed him inside, but he stopped as you were ready to enter his kitchen, and turned to you with a serious look on his face.
“I have a rule though. You stay away from the kitchen.”
“What?”
“I don’t like it when people cook with me.”
“Oh… so you are a control freak,” you teased, but he seemed more offended than you had anticipated.
“Of course, not… just… don’t cook with me.”
“So, you’re a control freak, but specifically in the kitchen, then…”
He rolled his eyes, but yielded.
“Alright, maybe I’m a little controlling in the kitchen. I just… like things to be done a certain way. Or maybe I simply have terrible friends when it comes to cooking. You should see the look of those poor vegetables after Alex had ‘cut them’. An outrage, really.”
“I have a special skill though. It’s my superpower.”
He raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
“I can cut fruits and vegetables in perfectly even pieces.”
“What?”
“Like… if I cut an apple in half, it’s almost perfect!”
“So… your superpower is decently chopping fruits and veggies?”
“It is,” you nodded with fake pride, making him laugh.
“I mean… at least, it’s a useful skill!”
“What’s your hidden skill?”
He looked at you for a moment. You could see that he was hesitating, you gave him an encouraging nod. He blushed as he spoke again, his voice growing quiet.
“I can sing.”
You rolled your eyes.
“I already know that! I know you used to write music, I know you still like it. You’ve told me you used to sing in a choir too.”
“I sang at Trinity. Anúna.”
“Really? That’s high-level stuff!”
“I still play gigs sometimes.”
Your eyes widened. You couldn’t control your brain as you imagined Andrew standing on stage, singing, looking hot…
You pushed the thought away. Reminded yourself that you were colleagues, friends, and nothing more and this was out of line…
“That’s awesome!”
“Hmm… yeah… I’m playing a gig on Saint Patrick’s day, in fact,” he added, growing increasingly nervous as he went on, he actually turned away from you and started picking up plates and knifes and vegetables throughout his kitchen. “With Alex and the old gang. Erm… and it’s also my birthday, so we’re having a little party about that, nothing fancy, just… a barbecue if the weather allows. You… you could come, if you want to.”
Your heart felt warm at his words, at the thought that he wanted to share this passion of his with you, that he wanted to spend his birthday with you too. You tried to hide how excited you truly were, refusing to look too much like some kind of creep…
“I’d love to come!”
He froze, threw you a side glance, but there was a hopeful smile tugging at his lips.
“Really?” he asked, voice almost a whisper.
“Of course! Sounds like a way to get free beer and get hammered at your expense. Sign me up!”
He laughed at that, but the grateful look he gave you let you know that he wasn’t fooled by your joke.
“Also… are we going to mention that you were born on Saint Patrick’s Day? Like… that is disgustingly patriotic of you,” you teased, leaning your back against the sink so you could stand next to Andrew and look at him.
“Hey, it’s not that bad! Always a day off work, everybody is available, and if they’re not, then they’re just lying gobshites,” he beamed up as you laughed. “Also, my dad pretended the parades were for my birthday as a child.”
“Ha… that explains the size of your current ego…”
He laughed at that, washing tomatoes and stepping closer to you to do so. You didn’t budge though. You tried to ignore that you kind of longed for that sudden proximity…
“Right… I bet I’m insufferable.”
“I mean… you are… just not because of an ego problem,” you smiled at him.
“Because of what kind of problem then?”
You noticed a shift in his tone, and you hated it. You knew he was kind of serious now, that he was growing anxious. You saw it in the way his shoulders bent, how he tried to look smaller than he truly was. You gave him a mischievous grin, made sure he knew you were still joking around.
“You won’t let me show you my unbelievable skill!” you answered, dissolving any trace of stress that was left in the room.
He laughed, standing straighter again, before handing you a knife.
“Alright, show me.”
You made a show at placing the knife on the nearest tomato, and Andrew stared at you with glee, highly entertained by your antics.
“AND…”
You cut the tomato in two fairly even pieces, and Andrew dramatically inspected the fruit. You tried hard not to laugh, but quickly failed.
“Not too bad,” he admitted, poking his tongue against the inside of his cheek.
You threw your fist in the air in victory.
“So… does that mean that I can cook…?”
“Nope!”
You laughed at him, finished cutting the tomato you were still holding. Andrew eyed you for a moment, before sliding some vegetables your way.
You gave him a cheeky grin in return, one that coloured his cheeks with red.
Andrew shooed you out of the kitchen after all the ingredients had been cut though, claiming that you didn’t have a special skill in cooking, but only in cutting, and you yielded after some further teasing; you set up the table, then aimed for his living room while he busied himself with his food, claiming it was almost done. You played with Elwood for a bit, then busied yourself with a meticulous inspection of Andrew’s bookshelves.
A tender smile formed on your lips at his extensive collection of Heaney’s poetry. You picked up North, the collection you had been reading lately. You were not surprised to find traces of many reads on its cover and alongside the pages, with sticky notes here and there. You were not surprised to find the extensive notes slipped between the pages enclosing ‘Come to the Bower’ all through to ‘Strange Fruit’.
“It’s ready!” Andrew called after you, stepping into his living room to bring you back to reality while your eyes travelled through the first verses of the ‘Bog Queen’.
You looked up at him while he approached, tilting his head to the side. There was no animosity in his voice when he spoke, it was soft and warm, on the contrary.
“It’s impolite to snoop around.”
“I’m only assessing your taste.”
“And? Your conclusion?”
You smiled up at him.
“Not too bad.”
He chuckled, but there was something tender in his gaze. Something that made your heart skip a beat.
He bent a little to see what book you were still holding, he hummed as he nodded.
“I do love Heaney a lot,” he admitted.
“I know. I’ve started reading his poetry again, you know?”
“Really? What made you pick it up again?”
“You.”
His relaxed smile faltered, and for a moment, you cursed yourself, thinking you had been too direct, that you had spoiled everything. But then you noticed that he was blinking, saw his eyes shining a little while he averted his gaze.
When he spoke, his voice was so soft you could barely hear it, deeper than usual too, it made your heart beat faster, shook your frame with a shiver.
“That’s… that’s really fucking nice, Y/N. That… that you did that.”
“I saw the books sitting on my shelf the other day, and I know how much you love these poems. It made me think of you. So… I’ve started reading them again.”
Slowly, Andrew nodded, before he would clear his throat.
“Thank you,” he repeated, although you weren’t too sure of what he was thanking you for. It seemed natural to you.
“I see you have a lot to say about bog bodies, and I am not surprised,” you added, showing the pieces of paper tugged safely between the pages.
Andrew chuckled, rubbing at his neck as he grew a little uncomfortable.
“Right… yeah… I do love those an awful lot.”
“Hmmm… I had guessed. Actually… we should discuss them! That would be fun!”
It was your time to avert your eyes now, though, to grow uncomfortable. Fun? To you, perhaps, but Frank had showed you time and time again that nobody else was interested in talking about these things…
“God! Yes! What do you want to talk about? Like… the macabre aspect of it? The political side? The mythical side?”
When you looked up at Andrew, he was grinning, excited like a little child in a candy store. His hand was slightly shaking when he pushed his glasses up his nose again.
“Oh, and… you know, I’ve bought the Divine Comedy too!”
“What?” you asked, taken aback by the sudden change of subject.
“Yeah, I just… I… saw it at the bookstore the other day, and you love it, so I wanted to give it another try, and we have so many points to discuss! I’m almost done, not quite though, but there are so many elements that I want to go through with you… Like…”
He stopped his rambling as you blinked up at him. You must have looked stupid, while you tried to register what Andrew meant.
He had bought that book to read it… because you loved it. Just so he could… talk about it with you… without you recommending it to him or lending him the book, he just… He saw it. Thought of you. Bought it simply because of you. Read it because of you. And now he wanted to discuss it with you…
You blinked tears away. It was ridiculously simple and yet… no one had ever done that. Frank had definitely never done that for you…
“I… I’d love to talk about that with you,” you spoke in a softer voice, a grin slowly forming across your lips.
You were staring at each other for a moment, your hands still holding one of his favourite books, his eyes fixed on yours. God, his eyes… the green that dominated the brown tonight, like leaves on a summer afternoon, vivid and bathed with gold… you couldn’t look at anything else in the room, in the world, in your life…
You noticed that the space between your faces was slowly diminishing. You noticed that Andrew wasn’t that tall anymore, or rather, that he was bending closer. Closer. Closer…
You felt something bump hard into your leg, making you lose your balance for a second, although you recovered almost instantly. When you looked down, Elwood was staring up at you, waiting for your attention.
You laughed, scratching his head.
“The food is going to get cold,” Andrew mumbled under his breath, and you tried to ignore how much he was blushing now. You carried the book in the kitchen as you followed him, Elwood in toe.
God, had you dreamt this? Had Andrew tried to kiss you? Were you… were you ready to let him?

MILESTONES✩༶‧˚
GENRE + T/W: sfw, fluff. suggestive comments. WORD COUNT: 6.0k words. TAGS: satoru gojo x fem!oc, dadtobe!gojo, pregnant!oc, established couple. a lil' jealous!oc.
SYNOPSIS: a compilation of short stories about the stages of pregnancy with oc gojo girlfriend and satoru. AUTHOR'S NOTE: please make sure to read 'accidents' before milestones. i couldn't have you guys miss out on oc gojo girlfriend and satoru's pregnancy journey. it was so fun to write this. a lot of research went into the baby gojo chronicles, i honestly think my fbi agent thinks i'm pregnant. REMINDER: if you want to imagine yourself in oc gojo girlfriend's character descriptions instead, please do!
8 weeks: the first pre-natal appointment
it has been two weeks since you and satoru decided that you were going to keep the baby. this week was your first pre-natal appointment to "meet" baby gojo. you couldn't tell who was more nervous, you or satoru.
during your appointment, satoru sat in the exam room as the nurse drew your blood to perform tests and to confirm the pregnancy. the nurse also performed a pap smear, which freaked satoru out after he saw what a speculum looked like. he said it looked like a 'torture chamber tool' and you wholeheartedly agreed with him.
you exchanged soft smiles with satoru multiple times throughout your appointment. satoru was engrossed with the entire process. his curiousness was adorable in your eyes as he asked your nurse questions about all the procedures and tests she was performing. about an hour later after receiving the results of your blood tests, your doctor entered the room.
“well, first things first, congratulations on your pregnancy (y/n)! your blood test came back positive with hcg.” your doctor began, “now let’s talk about some upcoming lifestyle changes you'll have to make.”
“wait, when do we get to see the baby?” satoru interrupted. you glared at him, dark green eyes telling him ‘shut up, satoru’.
“we’ll perform the ultrasound after this, satoru.” your doctor chimed. “(y/n), i want you to start taking a pre-natal. stop eating raw fish, deli meats, and eat thoroughly cooked meats for now.”
you blinked twice. that meant no sushi for you. your heart sank a little. satoru noticed the disappointment shift in your mood. he felt a little guilty.
"so that's why you had me cook your steak well-done..." satoru whispered to himself. you scoffed at his sudden realization from two weeks ago. (read ‘accidents’ here)
“do you or satoru have any pre-existing medical conditions in either families?”
“no. but he might be pre-diabetic by the time he’s 40.” you snorted.
satoru chuckled and reported back, “there’s nothing on my side of the family to note.”
“that’s great to hear. just be aware of gestational diabetes, (y/n). i know you love your chocolate ice cream so watch your intake.” your doctor typed some notes in your patient profile, “your due date is looking close to october 14th. any other questions?”
“can the baby come earlier?” satoru quickly asked.
your doctor smiled at the both of you, “i wouldn’t necessary call it early, but babies are considered full term at 37 weeks. it would be good for the baby to be born around or after that time.”
“uhm, do you think i’ll be able to give birth vaginally?” you asked next. your sister-in-law had to have c-sections, so that worried you. her recovery was a journey for her and honestly, it scared you. but you were willing to do whatever it takes to make sure baby gojo arrived safely.
“as long as there aren’t any complications, of course. we can plan on that. we'll just have to monitor how your pregnancy is going.” your doctor picked up on yours and satoru’s quiet and awkward social queues, "and yes, you can still have sex while you're pregnant.
"oh, thank god." satoru sighed in relief as you smacked him with the back of your hand. he was so embarrassing.
"please, just ignore him." you looked at your doctor, cheeks cherry red.
she laughed and asked the most important question of the day, “are you guys ready to meet your baby?”
you nodded your head and giggled, “yes. i think satoru’s more excited than i am. he won't shut up about it.”
“i’ve been waiting two weeks for this moment.” satoru said with a sheepish smile, his hand scratching the back of his fresh undercut. his blue eyes peeking through from his sunglasses.
“okay, let’s get started then.” your doctor announced while snapping on her sterile gloves. “we’ll be performing a transabdominal ultrasound today, nothing painful.”
she squeezed a handful of gel to apply to your belly. you jumped in your seat.
“are you okay?” satoru asked, concerned at your sudden movement.
you reassured him, “yeah, the gel is just cold.”
your doctor laughed in amusement and started to rub the wand around your abdomen. you heard a fast thumping noise.
“is that the heartbeat?” you wondered, looking at the black and white screen. satoru smiled from ear-to-ear as he cupped his cheek in his right hand, his left hand squeezing yours. hearing his baby’s heartbeat might take the cake for one of his favorite sounds in the world, next to your laugh.
your doctor reported back, “yup. a healthy 138 bpm. i’m gonna take some pictures now…”
you saw a tiny circle in the middle of the monitor as your doctor clicked away on her computer mouse.
“is that the baby?” satoru asked, squinting at the monitor.
“yes. you see the little image that looks like a bean?” she clicked again, “it’s about half an inch… that’s your baby.”
“it’s so cute. how tiny. a baby bean…” you gushed. you turned to look at satoru. he was itching his eyes.
“satoru gojo, are you crying?” you asked in disbelief.
he quickly defended himself, avoiding all eye contact with you. “no! something just got in my eye.”
he was such a liar. his infinity would never allow anything to touch his precious six eyes.
your doctor laughed at the sweet moment between the two of you. you watched the love of your life stare at the black and white screen in amazement. your heart felt like it was going to burst watching him. you wanted to hold him tightly and never let go.
12 weeks: surprise! we’re pregnant!
it was so hard for you and satoru to keep your pregnancy a secret for the past 6 weeks. the only two people who knew you were pregnant were shoko and megumi.
your doctor had advised you to wait until the end of your first trimester to announce your pregnancy because of the risk of miscarriage. once you made it past the first trimester, you thought about how you were going to tell everyone. of course, you and satoru wanted it to be a surprise. an imaginary lightbulb lit above your head.
“babe, i have an idea.” you said excitedly, grabbing satoru’s arm as he was looking through your office drawers for something sweet to snack on.
“hmmm. what is it, sweetheart?” he asked as he unwrapped a piece of chocolate. you always kept a stash of satoru's favorite chocolates in your desk for him because he loved to hide in your office and avoid his sensei duties.
“you know how we usually take a group picture with the faculty, students, and sister school every year? let's tell principal yaga to schedule it early this year.”
“oh, i like where this is going.” satoru laughed. he read your mind. you high-fived him. he gave you a quick peck on the cheek. couples’ telepathy was really a thing.
*********************************
“and why do we have to be here?” maki complained as she folded her arms. she wanted to train, not take a silly picture.
“come on, maki! it’s tradition to get a picture of all the students and faculty. it’s just that we’re taking the picture earlier than usual this year.” panda said as he patted her back.
“even okkotsu came back from his training to be in the picture. my sister flew in just to be in it too.” megumi said as he watched yuta interact with the students from kyoto. tsumiki was attached to your hip. megumi already knew the real reason why the picture was scheduled so early in the school year and why tsumiki was asked to be in the picture.
“alright! everyone looks great.” yuji cheered as he walked to his assigned spot for the group picture.
principal yaga gathered everyone, “please make your way to the field and get into your assigned spots. satoru will be pressing the button for the camera since he can teleport to his spot quickly.”
you nervously watched as all the students and jujutsu high faculty made their way to their spots, getting ready for the picture.
“okay everyone!” satoru shouted as he prepared himself to teleport next to you and megumi, “i’m pressing the timer!”
satoru appeared by your side as the 10 second timer ticked. satoru sneakily pressed record instead taking of a picture. “everyone say ‘(y/n)-sensei’s pregnant’!”
everyone stopped to look at you and satoru in confusion.
“what?”
“what did he say?”
“huh?!”
“(y/n)-sensei… is pregnant?!”
“wait what?”
“holy shit, (y/n)-sensei is pregnant!”
after a few seconds of questioning, everyone realized what had just happened. you had just announced your pregnancy.
in that moment, you were tackled by tsumiki, megumi, yuji, nobara, and yuta as they cheered around you in a group hug. ijichi, akari, principal yaga, nanami, ino, mei, utahime and shoko were all congratulating satoru. they took turns speaking with the both of you, giving you well wishes on a safe and healthy pregnancy.
“congrats, (y/n)-sensei.” maki said with a soft smile, embarrassed she complained about being here. she wouldn’t have wanted to miss this.
panda added, “yes, congratulations! we’re excited to see you and satoru become parents.”
“salmon, salmon!” toge congratulated you in his own words.
“thanks everyone. if you guys aren’t busy, we’re going to have a celebratory dinner tonight at splendid sushi. satoru’s treat.” you winked.
“hey! i heard that!” satoru shouted at you from across the field as he grinned. both you and satoru were thrilled to see everyone’s excitement on the news of baby gojo.
*********************************
“are you nervous to tell my brother you knocked up his little sister?” you teased satoru. you kissed his cheek as he brushed the loose strands of black hair behind your ear.
“nah, i’m sure he wants nieces and nephews for his kids. plus, it was an accident.” he joked as he drummed his fingers on the restaurant table. you and satoru people-watched through the restaurant window, waiting for touya and his wife. (a/n: yeah, touya is married with 2 kids now. his wife’s name is hana. a non-sorcerer. maybe i'll write a wedding fic.)
you smiled as you saw your brother walk into the restaurant, holding the door open for hana. touya’s black hair and golden-yellow eyes beamed when he saw you satoru.
“satoru! how have you been, bro?!” touya greeted his self-proclaimed brother, pulling him in for a bro hug.
“i can’t believe he hugged satoru first.” you looked at hana in disbelief as she giggled, hugging you instead.
“they really are bestfriends now.” hana realized as she sat across from you.
satoru sat back down in his seat next to you, touya sitting across from him. “glad you guys could have lunch with us. it’s been awhile.”
“we have a gift for you guys! a souvenir from our last trip.” you lied to your brother and sister-in-law. you pushed a card and white box towards them.
“open it. it’s special, made especially for you.” satoru urged, touya and hana taking the card to open first.
“what do you get a brother who already has everything?” touya read out loud. hana curiously reading along with him. satoru placed his hand on your thigh. the both of you were grinning from ear-to-ear watching the two open the box. they pulled out a beige baby onesie.
touya read the text on the onesie, “how about the title uncle and auntie…?”
after putting 2+2 together, touya hid his face with his hands, both him and hana were so happy for you and satoru. your eyes started to water watching them. a tearful laugh came out of you.
“congratulations, you two. my baby sis is having a baby...” touya said as he got up to embrace you.
you hugged him tighter, “thanks, touya…” you softly said. the warmth of your brother's love and support making you extremely emotional. these pregnancy hormones were out. of. control.
18 weeks: an important question
"aren't you curious to what the gender is?" shoko asked you and satoru. you asked shoko to join you two for lunch today because you had an important question to ask the amber-eyed doctor in regards to your unborn child.
you took a bite of your chicken katsu before answering, "of course we are. but we decided not to find out because we want it to be a surprise."
“what do you want it to be? a boy or girl?”
“it doesn’t matter. as long as baby gojo is healthy.” satoru stereotypically said as he stretched his arm to rest over your shoulder. he secretly wanted a girl.
you added, “we raised megumi and tsumiki. we already experienced the best of both worlds. so i’m not picky.”
“i guess i’m just being selfish because i want to know the gender.” shoko laughed as she took a sip of her mimosa.
“oh! shoko, we have a present for you.” you said as you put down your chopsticks. you turned to satoru and he grabbed another white box with a card attached do it, similar to the one you gave touya and hana.
“it better be the gender of your baby.” she laughed as she took the present from satoru.
“it’s something even better.” satoru said with his signature shit-eating grin.
shoko opened the card, reading it out loud, “i need an extra pair of hands to help me learn and grow… i know that yours will be the best because mommy and daddy told me so…?” she looked at the card, confused.
you asked her clearly while trying not to laugh, “shoko, will you be baby gojo’s godmother?”
shoko stared at both you and satoru after she realized what you had just asked of her. she started to chuckle as she got out of her seat to hug you. “of course, i will. hopefully your baby won’t grow up to be a little shit like satoru.” she said as she punched the white-haired sorcerer in the arm, satoru completely letting her bypass his infinity to do so.
“there’s another gift in there.” satoru added, pointing at the giant glass.
shoko picked up the pint glass and read the etching, “you drink too much. you smoke too much. and you cheated on your medical exam. we can’t think of anyone more suitable to be baby gojo’s godmother.”
shoko laughed, “okay, this might have been better than finding out the gender of your baby.”
26 weeks: baby gojo’s first (external) kick
megumi came home this weekend to spend time with you, satoru, and tsumiki. normally, he would be spending his free time exploring japan with nobara and yuji, but since you were pregnant and tsumiki was back for her semester break from her study abroad program, he wanted to spend his free time with his family.
you were in the kitchen with tsumiki making dinner while satoru and megumi sat around the living room with his demon dogs, shiro and kuro. catoru was lounging in their cat scratch post and your spirit birds were out on the patio enjoying the weather. you didn’t realize how zoo-like your home was until now... and that wasn't even including all of megumi's shikigami either.
while chopping vegetables, tsumiki updated you on her high school adventures abroad. ever since she started at e.f. academy, she has been non-stop on-the-go with extracurricular activities. she told you about her latest projects, how the weather was in california, about all the friends she made, and even the boy she had a small crush on. (read 'wherever you are' here)
on the couch, megumi spoke with satoru about his shikigami and how he’s been able to tame a majority of them now. this was the first time in awhile those two haven’t bickered in your presence, and it was a sight to behold.
you rested your hands on your belly as you leaned your back against the kitchen counter, listening to your sweet teenager talk about how cute her crush was. you reminisced about your time in high school, how you thought satoru was a complete asshole when you first met him, and how his good looks and horrible personality made up for it. if your 18 year old self could see you now, she wouldn’t believe the sight. (read 'love at first fight' here)
you felt a little tap against your hands. “huh?” you said out loud, realizing what you just felt on your hands.
“(y/n)? are you okay?” tsumiki asked as she put down the chopping knife. satoru and megumi turned around from the couch, all the attention was on you.
“i think baby gojo just kicked my hand.” you announced. only you were able to feel baby gojo kick internally for the past couple weeks, but now, you thought that satoru and the kids would be able to actually feel the kicks from the outside too.
“hurry, come over here!” you said frantically, hoping baby gojo would kick again. satoru dramatically teleported beside you as megumi hopped over the couch ledge to race over to the kitchen, kuro and shiro following him.
you took all three of their hands and placed it on your belly where you thought baby gojo was. the demon dogs sniffed around you, their tails wagging happily. you pursed your lips, waiting for another kick. you felt kuro and shiro licking your hands.
and there it was. another gentle kick from baby gojo.
“i felt it!” tsumiki cheered as she jumped around the kitchen. her bright smile lighting up the room.
satoru hugged you from behind. you both smiled while watching tsumiki and megumi. megumi looked at his hand, and then back at your stomach.
“did you feel it, megumi?” you asked him with a smile.
“yeah, i did.” he said softly. “that was pretty cool.”
“what about you, daddy?” you grinned as you asked satoru.
megumi gagged at satoru’s new title, “gross. i’m leaving.”
you and satoru watched as your moody teenager made his way back to the couch, tsumiki’s attention back on chopping vegetables. satoru’s arms were still wrapped around you, his face nuzzled in the crook of your neck. baby gojo kicked once more.
“i think baby gojo is saying ‘let go of us so mommy can finish cooking’.” you giggled as you turned around to face the white haired sorcerer. you caressed his cheek with your palm. he snuck two kisses on your neck.
“fine… but i expect some alone time later.” he winked at you before kissing the palm of your hand.
you laughed, “sorry, babe, the kids are home this weekend, plus you get me all to yourself next week when we go to mexico for our baby moon.”
30 weeks: a first time parents' class
"babe, get ready. i signed us up for a class."
"what kind of class? it better not be another ‘how to have sex while pregnant’ class." you rolled your eyes at the ridiculous class that satoru signed you up for at the beginning of your pregnancy. you sighed, your belly weighing you down on your very comfortable white couch that you would probably need satoru's help getting out of.
he grinned at you as he grabbed your purse and your shoes. "a first time parents class."
your doctor recommended that you and satoru waited until your third trimester to take a 'first time parent' class. the class would teach new parents about the different kinds of births, pain management strategies, what to do if and when your water breaks, how to time contractions, postpartum care, caring for the baby, and baby first aid.
“do we have to go?” you asked, “i’m tired.” feigning exhaustion as you put the back of your hand over your eyes and forehead.
“of course we have to go!” satoru exclaimed as he sat down next to you. he was always so excited whenever it came to anything related to baby gojo. he slipped on your white sneakers for you, swiftly tying your shoe laces bunny ear style as you sat up on your elbows. you caught yourself smiling at him. he was so doting. you could definitely get used to this.
satoru studied you. you weren't wearing any makeup today, but you had the radiant "pregnancy glow" that everyone talked about. you wore a beige dress under a white crop t-shirt that hugged your belly tightly. “you look beautiful, so no need to change or do your makeup.”
“you just don’t want to be late.” you laughed. this was the first time that satoru gojo was on time for anything.
*********************************
satoru teleported you both to the hospital in tokyo that you go to for your all your doctor appointments. apparently the hospital was hosting the class he signed up for. there were many pregnant women with their significant others, friends, mothers, and mother-in-laws sitting around the small auditorium.
as you entered the room, you heard gasps and whispers about satoru.
“wow! what a good looking guy!”
“he’s a total hottie!”
“that guy is gonna be a dilf for sure!”
“do you see the cutie with the white hair and blue eyes?!”
“where should we sit?” satoru asked as he held your hand. you looped your free arm around his bicep covetously, staking claim to your man as if your very pregnant belly didn't do so already.
“don’t pretend like you don’t hear all the women in this room talking about you.” you hissed at him as you sat down in a seat closer to the front of the auditorium. because this happened everywhere you went with satoru, normally it wouldn't bug you, but for some reason it did today.
“somebody’s a green eyed monster today.” he sang with a smug smile. it was his favorite analogy to use when you were jealous because your green eyes were so fitting. he sat down next to you, draping his left arm around your shoulder, his right elbow perched on the arm rest. after over a decade of being with you, he was unphased by comments from other women. he ate it all up in high school, but satoru gojo became a changed man once he met you.
“am not.” you said under your breath. you stayed quiet for a moment. “babe, i just think it’s funny how—”
satoru's left ear was saved as your 'i think it's funny how' rant was interrupted by the presenter, “good afternoon! and welcome to the first time parents class!”
even though you were jealous and didn’t like how all the other women in the auditorium were drooling over satoru, you couldn’t stay mad. throughout the years, satoru’s beautiful blue eyes have never strayed and he never made you feel unwanted, even when you argued or when you were being difficult and stubborn. he was never bothered by your jealously. you were the only person he chased after since the day he met you at jujutsu high.
throughout the class, satoru took notes on his phone and asked questions during the q&a. it was hard to stay mad at a man as dedicated and involved as satoru gojo. you decided to just ignore the women in the class, however, that didn’t mean that you wouldn’t cling to satoru when the class ends.
*********************************
“so, what’d you think about the class?” satoru asked as he placed your go-to order of ice cream in front of you. he sat across from you as you glared at his sweet, handsome, smug face.
“it was fine. we learned a lot of information, don’t you think?” you deferred as you scooped a spoonful of ice cream into your mouth.
“yeah, and i learned that you still get jealous til’ this day.” satoru poked fun at you. “remember the first time i took you shopping in shibuya? you were soooo jealous of all the girls talking about me and you weren’t even my girlfriend at the time.” he laughed at the memory. (read ‘love at first fight’ here)
you quipped back, “satoru, everyone knows that you’re the one who’s obsessed with me.”
“true,” he agreed while taking a bite of your ice cream, “but it’s nice to see that side of you every once in awhile. what’s my baby gonna do when she’s not my number one anymore?” he mocked in a playful tone, shooting a bright toothy smile at you.
your emerald green eyes pierced his sapphire blue eyes. “what do you mean by that?”
“baby gojo is gonna be my number one.” satoru said nonchalantly, licking caramel off your spoon.
you took your ice cream away from him. holding the cup closer to you instead of putting it in the middle of the table to share.
satoru chastised you, “that’s not nice, sweetheart.”
“you’re insufferable, babe.” you rolled your eyes at him. “first, you let women drool all over you in front of me, then you tell me that i’m not your number one anymore. what’s next? you don’t love me either?”
“there you go with the theatrics.” satoru sighed, folding his arms. he wouldn't expect anything less from his life partner.
“i learned from the best teacher, i think his name was satoru gojo.” you winked at him.
"it's a good thing i love you." satoru said as he leaned over the table to kiss you on the lips. he tasted just like caramel.
32 weeks: nesting
"this fucking crib is going to be the death of me." satoru muttered under his breath as he struggled putting together the 'smart' crib that he bought. as soon as satoru found out you were pregnant, he spent a whole month researching cribs to decide which one he was going to buy for baby gojo. he decided on the most expensive one, thinking that it would be the best. rich people logic. this crib was called a 'snoo'.
"you didn't have to get such a high tech crib, babe." you said as you sat on the bed folding warm, freshly washed baby clothes and baby bedding for the snoo. you admired how cute and small the onesies were. because you and satoru didn't know the gender of your baby, you bought a lot of neutral colored clothing like beiges, tans, browns, and whites.
"my baby is going to have the best everything." satoru boasted. of course, baby gojo was going to be spoiled. they had you and satoru gojo as their parents.
during the past couple of weeks, you and satoru had bought a handful of important things that new parents would need for a newborn baby such as a crib, stroller, car seat, changing table dresser, and a comfortable lounging chair for your bedroom to put next to baby gojo's crib for the late night feeds.
satoru insisted that everything would be 'nuna' branded. the employee at his favorite department store convinced him after they mentioned that nuna was the "lamborghini of baby strollers and car seats." the matching stroller and car seat system was well over $1,000, you couldn't argue with satoru about how much he was spending because it would be hypocritical of you and your spending habits. so you let him get what he wanted.
after hours of setting up the snoo, putting together the baby stroller, installing the car seat, and building the dresser, satoru sighed, "what a long day." he crawled under the covers to meet you in bed, the back of his hand covering his face in exhaustion.
“it’s a good thing you could just use blue to move the lounge chair from the front door to the bedroom. you probably would've broke your back.” you teased him, knowing satoru gojo doesn’t do manual labor.
“the one easy part about today.” he complained.
while satoru took on his fatherly projects, you were able to deep clean the apartment, put baby clothes and diapers into the newly built dresser, add the clean bedding to the snoo, and re-organize all the drawers in the apartment. you were in the nesting stage of your pregnancy.
you turned to face him, your pregnancy pillow creating a divide between you and the exhausted sorcerer. he flattened your pregnancy pillow with his arm as you took his hand to lace your fingers with.
“you could’ve hired someone to build the snoo and the dresser, satoru.” you said to him, knowing that he normally would’ve.
“yeah, i know, but this is for my baby. i want to make sure everything is perfect.”
your heart melted at the fact that satoru was giving it his all to be involved. deep down, he wanted to be a good father and you could see that. you were proud of him.
"congrats, daddy. you just spent the day nesting with me." you smiled. you knew satoru secretly adored his new title.
the white haired sorcerer laughed, “what the hell is nesting? are we birds?”
“nesting is when couples get their home ready for the baby, satoru.”
“oh yeah? spending hours organizing drawers is nesting? because there’s nothing baby gojo will hate more than the junk drawer we have in the kitchen.” satoru teased.
you kissed the back of your teeth in annoyance, “you have been saying for years that you’d clean out the junk drawer. i found crayons in there from when megumi was in elementary school. he's a high schooler now. it only took me getting knocked up for it to finally be clean.”
you turned your body away from satoru. he moved your pregnancy pillow so he could cling to you (and so that he could be the big spoon).
“i’m just kidding, babe.” he whispered in your ear, kissing the back of your shoulder blade with his soft lips.
“uh huh. go to sleep, satoru.” you replied back to him, attempting to shut your eyes.
“so feisty…” satoru mumbled, still peppering soft kisses along your shoulder blade.
37 weeks: full term
"well... i can give birth at any time now." you said as you read your 'what to expect' app.
satoru placed his free hand on your stomach as he joined you on the white fluffy couch in your living room. you moved satoru's hand to where baby gojo was, using his hand to press firmly into your stomach.
he quickly pulled his hand away from you, afraid that he hurt you and baby gojo, "doesn't that hurt your stomach when you press that hard?" he asked.
"babe, no. give me your hand back. you'll be able to feel baby gojo's feet." you said, reaching for his hand that he reluctantly gave back to you. he leaned over to see what the hard feeling in your stomach was.
"that's baby gojo's feet?" he asked, amazed.
"yeah, baby gojo is literally killing me right now though." you said as you shifted uncomfortably. baby gojo liked to sleep in this position, making you lay on your left side more often.
satoru frowned, he knew you were uncomfortable now more than ever. "i'm sorry, babe."
you squinted at him, "what are you apologizing for?"
"for getting you pregnant."
you couldn’t tell if he was joking or not, so you nuzzled your head on his chest. he pulled you closer to him, "don't apologize for that. apologize if i'm not able to get an epidural or something." you snickered as you looked up at him, "ready to read week 37?"
satoru nodded and kissed the top of your head as you laid against him.
"baby gojo is as big as a canary melon. estimating 19 inches, and 6 pounds. at 37 weeks, you're 9 months pregnant with the end in sight." you read out loud.
satoru took the phone from you to read his part, "at a glance, if baby gojo was born this week, they'd still be early term. baby gojo is practicing for their grand entrance by inhaling and exhaling amniotic fluid, blinking, and turning from side to side. baby gojo can grab onto things now. baby gojo is likely to be sucking their thumb a lot these days in preparation for feeding sessions."
"it says babies grow about a pound a week. the average fetus weighs about 6 pounds. and that boys are likely to be heavier than girls." you read, "since it's a little crowded in your uterus now, baby gojo may not be kicking as much. instead, they're probably stretching, rolling and wiggling." you laughed because baby gojo was still kicking strong, sometimes it was painful, stopping you in your tracks in the middle of the day.
satoru blue-eyes widened as he read the next paragraph, "here's an interesting fact. at birth, baby gojo's head, which is still growing, will be about the same circumference as their chest."
"i pray to god that baby gojo doesn't have your big head or my vagina is toast." you joked.
satoru glared at you, shaking his head while chuckling. he went back to read through some of the pregnancy symptoms. he noticed that you experienced a majority of the symptoms on the list: the pelvic pain, leg cramps, pregnancy brain, and insomnia.
because you were of small stature, you started experiencing more pressure on your pelvis as the weeks went by. sometimes satoru would hold up your belly for you with his infinity whenever you were close by, and you were thankful for such a helpful cursed technique.
before bed, satoru would feed you bananas and massage your legs to help with the leg cramps. with your breasts and stomach as big as they've ever been, you finally got your stretch marks. for the majority of your pregnancy you were stretch mark-free, they didn't appear until the third trimester. satoru liked to call them your 'tiger stripes' when he would help you apply stretch mark creams and oils to your body. him helping you apply those creams and oils was a form of intimacy you didn't know you needed during this time. satoru always knew how to make you feel confident again.
your pregnancy brain caused you to be a little forgetful, so the acrylic whiteboard in the kitchen was your bestfriend. you left little reminders on the board for yourself, satoru, and megumi throughout your pregnancy.
lastly, it was hard for you to sleep now that you were in the home stretch of your pregnancy. every sleeping position was uncomfortable, and you had to wake up multiple times a night to use the bathroom. you never got a consistent amount of sleep.
even though being pregnant was uncomfortable, you experienced some of the best memories with satoru this year: your trip to mexico gifted from touya, your surprise pregnancy announcement, asking shoko to be baby gojo’s godmother, and all the special intimate moments with satoru. your unborn baby was already so loved by everyone. you couldn't have asked for a better accidental pregnancy.
you and satoru laid on the couch together all afternoon, enjoying each other's presence in this chaotic life for jujutsu sorcerers. catoru purred and slept next to you two on the chaise, your spirit birds perched on their stands as they watched over the apartment. you dozed in and out of sleep throughout the day as sleep was rare for you lately.
you felt satoru's warm hand on your belly again, you held his hand and lifted your head, emerald greens looking towards him.
"babe, i have a serious question." you said softly.
raising your hand to kiss your knuckles, he asked you curiously, "and what's your serious question?"
"are you ready to be a dilf?" you laughed.
"are you ready to be a milf?" he asked you back, chuckling, "cause you are definitely a milf, babe."
you smiled at satoru as he continued to plant soft kisses on your hand, "yeah, i'm ready to evict baby gojo."
little did you and satoru know, baby gojo would break your water next week to make their dramatic entrance into the world. yours and satoru's lives would be forever altered.

getting close to open enrollment for Affordable Care Act plans! I know there is a lot going on that demands attention, but be sure to find some time to explore the ACA health plan options available to you once enrollment opens November 1!
If you do not have employer-based insurance, you very likely have an excellent and extremely affordable option through the ACA Marketplace :)
Just last week there was a push from the Biden admin to require all ACA plans to cover birth control to begin safeguarding access. HIV ART, asthma inhalers, diabetes supplies (insulin included), and many other systemic medications are covered under ACA plans. If you are struggling to cover you or your family's medical needs, please consider ACA options! Internally, ACA coverage is also frequently referred to as "Individual + Family Plans" if that gives a better idea of who the plans always aim to support.
You can find more information at the federal exchange's site below. There are also people there who can help you navigate your options and better inform your choices. Open enrollment runs through early January!
#Creepy chatter#Also a great option if you are leaving your job and will no longer have that employer insurance#You often can keep your doctors as the networks are very expansive!

tw: swearing, mention of nipples, arguing (counts as bantering), just chaos tbh
pairing: satoru gojo x reader
notes: the way i was bawling my eyes out for the new jjk ep that came out today whilst also trying to simultaneously stay happy for my husband’s birthday. had to distract myself, so here’s my gojo!birthday post! enjoyyy <33
.・。.・゜✭・.・✫・゜・。. .・。.・゜✭・.・
certain events were taken very seriously in your household. it would be extremely unnatural if you missed something as simple as the first day back to school or the last day of school, even.
to be fair, as much excitement as you held for little events such as those, your partner’s excitement was enough to accustom every other member of your house (there were three of you, excluding satoru gojo).
seriously: he had only recently thrown a child-like tantrum because you’d forgotten the anniversary of your first sparring session three years ago — who even remembers shit like that? what happened to the normal, memorable events like valentines day, mothers day, or fathers day?
or birthdays.
now that was one you took extremely seriously. that was one you’d understand if satoru threw a tantrum over forgetting something as important as the day commemorating the year the world turned upside down by the birth of satoru gojo himself (it would have been nice if you were given a warning — putting up with him was forced labour, you firmly believe that you deserve to be paid).
and getting a gift for satoru was easy as pie. the man was so full of sunshines and daisies that he accepted nearly everything. it came to a point where you’d been under the impression that he was simply pretending for your sake, that you tried giving him one of nanami’s weird old pointed shoes during his 17th. needless to say, he was not pretending to like your gifts, and that was proven very well when the strongest sorcerer in the world held up the pair in one large hand, teary eyed with his lips wobbling.
drama queen, you thought in your head.
this year, you had much planned: the dinner table where you usually forbid a number of more than four candies or sweets were now filled with enough to diagnose him with diabetes and at least twenty cavities.
that was not all.
sometime last month, satoru had bought a pretty, blue dress for tsumiki (no special occasion, it was ‘speaking’ to him, apparently — his words, not yours) but it ended up being a size too small. you, wisely, suggested returning it, but the idiot came up with something… unique.
“just let megumi wear it!” he’d said with a giant grin.
megumi did not take that too well. despite the fact that you were already on his side, scolding satoru for constantly teasing the innocent boy, megumi had run back into your shared bedroom and returned with one of your own pretty blue dresses.
satoru looked down at him, his opaque, round glasses slipping down the bridge of his nose to reveal his scarily-blue eyes.
“oh?” he’d said, brows raised. “i mean i see why you’d want to wear that one, but —"
“i don’t want to wear it, creep,” snapped megumi, dropping the dress at satoru’s feet. the height difference was comical, megumi barely reached higher than the snow-haired man’s knee. “it’s for you.”
your eyes narrowed.
“now wait just a minute —”
“i’ll wear tsumiki’s dress the day you wear that one,” scoffed megumi, who knew very well that satoru would never stoop that low. he did not wait for another response before walking away.
you and satoru watched him leave; you looked at satoru, who shrugged at you, and before either of you could blink, megumi was at satoru’s knees again.
“wha—”
kick!
“ow!”
the dark haired kid ran off without a word, leaving satoru to rub at his knee with his glasses askew on his face.
“the kid can seriously kick, huh?” he grunted, bouncing on the heels of his feet as you had approached him with a scowl.
“that’s what you get for even saying such a stupid thing,” you told him as you pinched his arm to stop him from bouncing around. his face came to level with yours and you took the opportunity to fix his glasses before flicking him on the forehead. “put my dress away.”
satoru grinned at you.
“i’ll skin you alive if i see you in that.”
“i paid for it.”
“and you’ll do that again if you wear it.”
so that brought you to the present day, where you found yourself actually pleading with megumi to… wear the dress.
“no,” he said, glaring at you (a rare sight, because despite your obvious similarities in humour with satoru, megumi still preferred to side with you in every situation). “it’s ugly.”
“you didn’t say it was ugly when tsumiki said she liked it.”
“tsumiki’s —” started megumi, looking at you as if you’d grown three different heads. “tsumiki’s a girl! why is — what’s wrong with you people?”
“it’ll look funny!”
“exactly.”
“he’ll be here in a couple of minutes, megumi. just for a minute… please?” you reasoned, hands clasped in pleading. “i want to make sure his birthday is perfect.”
“at my expense.”
you stared at him. “why does a kid like you even know those words?”
tsumiki had walked in the room by that point, a party hat sitting on top of the braids you had expertly done for her that morning.
“he reads non-fiction books,” she answered your question easily, placing her own wrapped gift on the table with very little room due to the pastries and goodies.
“of course,” you sighed. “because that’s so normal for a seven year old kid. you know, forget the dress. want me to take you to a doctor instead?”
“you’re not normal either,” megumi shot back grumpily.
“i am!” you argued back, unaware of the fact that satoru was now in the process of unlocking the door. “aren’t i, tsumiki?”
the girl, though hesitant, nodded enthusiastically. you’ll take it.
“see, megumi? i’m norm— what are you staring at?”
megumi’s face had paled, his pupils growing smaller and smaller with whatever view behind you he was met with. your eyes darted to tsumiki, who also looked visibly shocked, but you knew her well enough to analyse the fact that she also looked very… amused.
what was so amusing?
“I’M HOOOOME!” sang satoru, his voice smooth as silk and loud as though he’d spoken through a megaphone.
but satoru wasn’t that shocking. satoru was just satoru. satoru was…
you turned around.
satoru was wearing a dress.
your dress.
the one you’d forbidden him from touching.
the one you’d explicitly threatened him with.
the one he knew was off-limits.
the one he had now stretched and ripped due to his broad shoulders, his muscular frame, his tall body.
satoru seemed blissfully unaware of the issue at hand, pouting as his blue eyes darted from you, to megumi, to tsumiki.
“what, no birthday songs? you know i love your singing, y/n —”
“is infinity on?” you asked slowly, voice shaky with frustration.
satoru blinked.
“huh?”
“is. infinity. on.”
“i mean — yeah — but —”
“okay,” you smiled, walking over to the table and presenting all the treats you’d bought for him. you picked up a cinnamon roll with your bare hands, ignoring the way the sugary icing was now dripping down your skin.
“oh! those for me? i knew you’d come through! remember that shoe you gave me back when —”
splatter!
it was a good thing you were known for hitting your targets every time: satoru’s — your — dress was now tainted with the mess only a delicious cinnamon roll could cause. it dropped to the floor after sliding down his front for a good five seconds as you, him, and the kids watched with interest.
he stared at the wasted treat, mouth forming an ‘o’ shape at the disaster. he looked back up again, ready to protest when he found you holding another one of his treats: it was kikufuku — edamame and cream flavour, also known as, satoru gojo’s favourite.
“hey, wait —”
smack!
square on the nose. target hit. mission… accomplished? no, not quite yet. that was not enough compensation for your previously, well-crafted, beloved dress.
the idiot tried catching it, only for it to slip between his unnecessarily long fingers and fall sadly onto the wooden floor.
“no!” he shouted dramatically, voice cracking with despair. “that was —”
“your favourite?” you finished off, head tilted mockingly. “i know. that was my dress.”
satoru shook his head vigorously; it would have made you laugh if not for the fact that the dress he was wearing belonged to you.
“it still is!” he stated desperately.
“it’s not even a dress anymore you stupid man-child!”
“i know it looks a little… weird —”
“just weird?”
“and… a little ripped —"
“a little?”
“but it’s still yo— put my kikufuku down right now!”
the next five minutes had been an unpleasant sight for all: you were trying to get him out of your ruined dress, he was trying to get his favourite treat out of your hand, not to be tragically wasted like the previous one. tsumiki had made one or two attempts to calm all the tension down, but megumi had hissed at her to stop interfering.
tsumiki knew it was because if the arguing had been an issue of the past, megumi and his claim that if satoru wore your dress then he’d wear tsumiki’s small one, would be an issue of the present.
satoru, with his arms wrapped around your body (somehow) to prevent you from grabbing another one of his goodies, looked over his shoulder to send a menacing glare to megumi.
“you’re not off the hook either, mister,” he said loudly, “get the dress on.”
you pushed satoru off of you with an impressive amount of strength seeing as he practically towered over you and bested you in physical strength any day.
“no, forget it megumi. he doesn’t deserve to see you in a dre—”
the rest of your sentence had been muffled by satoru’s large hand slapping over your mouth, making you stumble back in surprise and anger.
“ignore her megumi, put the damn dress on.”
you pulled at his already-dishevelled hair sharply. he bit back a high-pitched scream his inner girl had wanted to release.
“he doesn’t want to anyway, he’s not gonna listen to you!”
satoru tried pushing you with his chest away from the dinner table so it would be easier to hold you back. he’d decided that you wouldn’t give up on this, therefore creating some space between you and his beloved sugary treats would be ideal in this scenario.
“oi, i did what the little brat wanted me to do,” he hissed with fury. his hands closed around your wrist, he looked over his shoulder at megumi again. “and i feel like shit right now —”
“— no swearing in front of the kids —”
“— i feel like poop right now,” satoru obediently corrected himself without looking back at you. “now do your dad a favour and put the dress on —”
megumi gave him a look of disgust and did not hesitate to share his thoughts.
“ew you’re not my dad.”
and sometimes you genuinely believe that satoru has some mild form of adhd, for his attention diverted quickly from his physical battle with you to the random one picked up by megumi.
“what the hell?”
but it still seemed as though one side of his brain was still working, he hadn’t let go of your wrists just yet.
“oh my god,” you sighed, looking over at tsumiki as though she could help you in any way: the young girl shrugged, fiddling with the little bands that went round her face in order to keep her party hat in place.
“pause, this is getting really serious right now and i don’t like it,” said satoru, and then quickly turned his head to face you with a glare. “not that you wasting my food isn’t serious.”
you struggled with his iron-tight grip on your wrists.
“i paid for all of that,” you reminded him charmingly.
“and i paid for this dress.”
“and you also wrecked it,” you snapped, eyeing what once used to be your beautiful blue dress that now looked like something you’d seen peasants wear in a movie.
“i’ll buy you a closet full of dresses if that’s what you want!” satoru argued back.
“i don’t want a closet full of dresses,” you retorted, and then paused, looking up thoughtfully. “but i’ll hold you to that.”
satoru blinked at you, confused; you shook your head and focused.
“i want that dress!” you demanded angrily, the battle continuing despite yourself. “and you didn’t heed my warning, so your kikufuku and everything else i bought you gets it.”
“you’re evil —”
“and you look like a fool!”
satoru did not deny that, so with his eyes still trained on you, narrowing them slowly, he exhaled through his nose.
“megumi, i won’t ask again. wear the dress.”
before you could go for the dinner table again, satoru ducked and lifted you by your waist, using his long legs to make large strides towards the couch. you protested, your hands had instinctively held onto his shoulders, and without them, you could not fight back. you opted to dig your nails into him instead — he hissed but made no complaints as he continued to quickly jog you over to the couch.
“megumi!” you called out loudly: the boy still remained where you had last spoken to him, by the chairs of the table with a party hat he’d been fiddling with beneath his chin. “don’t —”
you were interrupted by your own gasp when your back harshly met the soft cushions of the couch. you did not have to focus that hard to hear megumi’s quiet ‘wasn’t planning on it’.
“one down, another to go!” cheered satoru, way too joyful for your liking.
your gaze hardened, taking a cushion and dashing it at the back of his head with as much force as you could gather. of course, you never missed, but it did little to stop satoru from approaching megumi (other than the offended look he sent you in that ridiculous dress you tried so hard not to laugh at).
megumi remained stagnant, his glare hardening with each step satoru took to get closer to him.
“clown,” muttered megumi, jumping off of the chair he’d been sitting on and running to his room.
“oh, good plan!” satoru called after him with a smile. “you go and get the dress and i’ll stay and wait here!”
tsumiki coughed nervously. “erm — i don’t think he’s going to get th—”
she cut herself off when she saw you get back up and charge towards satoru. he turned around a second too late, you’d pushed him back and grabbed a handful of random pastries and sweets, throwing them at him without another thought.
“you’re gonna have to use hollow purple to stop me,” you said over his shouts of protests.
“jokes — jokes on — oh my god, no! — jokes on you, i — stop! — could just use infinity!”
“what’s the point? the food gets wasted anyway, genius.”
the food war (and physical battle, when satoru had decided that enough was enough and the only way to pacify you was to beat you in a clash of strength) had gone on for at least another ten minutes. you were growing exhausted, but satoru? satoru, that monster, was still fighting you as if your attacks were nothing.
stamina now seemed like water on a dry desert for you.
but you refused to give up.
“i can see your nipple, you pervert, ew!” you shouted from underneath him.
it was an odd mix of your limbs. you were trying to flip him over but the stretch his body when you twisted his torso somehow only caused the fabric across his chest to tear, revealing one of his nipples.
“you see it every night,” satoru shot back with a grin.
you wanted to slap the smug look on his face badly.
“that’s why i tell you to stop sleeping shirtless every night —”
“why are you complaining? any other woman would be glad to —”
“what are you guys doing?” tsumiki’s soft voice interrupted you like the smooth spread of butter on toast.
the two of you looked up; your jaws dropped.
tsumiki had taken the time that you guys spent fighting to change out of her simple, regular dress and put on one of the new ones satoru had bought for her sometime last week. it was a similar shade to the blue he’d wanted megumi to wear (for some odd reason, the weirdo?) but was definitely much more flattering. much, much more prettier.
and it was her size.
“get off of me, you —"
“— no swearing —"
“you woman fetishise-r —”
“what’s that?” asked tsumiki, as you both got to your feet and dusted yourselves off.
“yeah, what’s that, y/n?” satoru cheekily repeated, staring at you as if he needed the answer or he’d die a sad and painful death.
“it’s —” you began sharply, trying not to kill him with your death stare before looking back at tsumiki with a smile, “it’s not important. the real question is: what’s that?”
“…it’s a dress,” said satoru unhelpfully. he was looking at you as if you had discovered new learning difficulties.
“another peep out of you and you’re sleeping on the couch tonight,” you threatened him quietly.
you did not need to look at him to know that he was pouting like a kicked puppy. at least he was mute, but not for long, it seemed.
“you’d do that to me on my birthda—”
“i’ve done a lot to you today, don’t push it,” you said, still eyeing tsumiki’s dress with obvious amazement and interest. you approached her, bending down to her height and tucking back some of the flyaways on her head. “it makes you look like a princess —”
“and it stopped you guys from fighting,” she smiled… like a princess.
satoru glared down at you, well aware that you could not see him.
“yeah i’m still not done with her —”
“i’ll make you sit in the naughty chair, gojo,” you said menacingly.
he wanted to let out a long, exaggerated sigh, but the sound of tsumiki laughing at your… mutual banter (?) had drawn his attention away from your backside to her and her new dress.
“ah,” sighed satoru, rubbing the back of his neck, “still wanted to see megumi in a dress.”
“can it, gojo.”
“i did!” he responded, sounding like a child getting scolded by their mother. he looked down at tsumiki and brushed her party hat aside to ruffle her hair (though not enough to mess her neat braids up). “i mean — you look so pretty with it on, i just wore this stupid dress for nothing now.”
“mhm,” you nodded, rising to your full height to raise a brow at him.
he shrugged, picking up an unwrapped lindor bar from the table. “can i at least get a picture of myself?”
“no,” you rolled your eyes. “your entire thought about putting megumi in a dress was just plain dumb, satoru.”
tsumiki blinked up at you. “but you spent all day trying to get megumi to agree to —”
your eye twitched as you felt satoru’s amused and interested stare directed at your cheek. you refused to look back at him.
you loved tsumiki, you really did. but just like any other kid, she had a tendency of speaking about something when it was very clear that it was simply not required. in other words, she spoke to make matters worse for you — unknowingly, of course. it stung a little more seeing as being proven wrong against the smug bastard that is satoru gojo is enough to make you want to jump into a big, black hole and never return again.
the idiot was just that cocky.
“a dumb idea, huh?” you heard him say.
you closed your eyes, as though they were the source of your hearing.
“mhm…” you hummed, irritated.
“that so?” said satoru, and when you did not respond, he took it as an opportunity to go on, and on, and on.
“aw, you did that for me?”
“just for me?”
“and she spent all day doing that, did she?”
“of course she did, look at all those treats for me!”
“i mean — not out of the ordinary for her to be bugging megumi but for me?”
“you know what?” you interrupted him loudly. you faced him with a frown. “i want a divorce!”
satoru stared down at you, glanced at tsumiki, before blinking down at you again. he raised his snow-white brow at you, acting as though you’d said something that deserved ten years in jail.
“we’re not even married!”
“and whose fucking fault is that?”
“language!”
“happy birthday!” you stated angrily, reaching up and kissing him on his cheek before storming out of the room, unaware of the dazed look he sent after you, unaware of the pink dusting his cheeks, unaware of the dreamy sigh he let out when the door slammed loud enough to shake the rest of the house.
soon, that argument could never be used against him, especially not by you.

Chris Evans Characters In The Delivery Room
Steve Rogers:
You have an emergency c-section with James, so Steve was in the OR with you.
You had a placental abruption because the cord was wrapped around James' neck.
James was in incubator in the NICU, yet pulled through.
Steve stayed with you the entire time you were in the hospital.
He was the first one to hold James as soon as he was out of the incubator.
You were the second.
You breastfed James.
Steve drew this.
Steve's with you when you give birth to Sarah Anne and Margaret Louise.
You home birth Sarah and Margaret.
Steve helped you through each birth.
In his day, dad's were not allowed to be in the delivery room, or even be in the same room as their wives when they were giving birth.
Times have changed.
Steve gets to hold and bond with all three of his kids.
He got to hold Sarah Anne and Margaret Louise right before they were cleaned up.
Seeing you give birth just doesn't phase him.
Steve wouldn't trade it for the world, and he got to spend his kids first few moments bonding with them.
He was even the first one to feel their first kick.
Ransom Drysdale:
Ransom is more nervous than you are.
Did you mention that you're the one that has to push the twins out?
Ransom rushes you to the hospital the second you have the first contraction.
He calls the doctor.
Ransom isn't going to wait until your contractions are closer together.
He's taking you to the hospital NOW!
"Ransom, calm down!"
"CALM DOWN?! HOW THE HELL CAN I CALM DOWN AT A TIME LIKE THIS?! YOU'RE IN LABOR! YOU'RE MY WIFE!"
"Ransom, it's only the first contraction. It'll be a while before they become closer together."
You're more much more calmer than Ransom is right now.
The wheelchair is in the car, and the infant seats are loaded in there.
So is the hospital bag.
So is the stroller.
Ransom made sure that EVERYTHING that was on the list was in the hospital bag.
You're checked in, and Ransom puts the hospital bag in your lap.
He wheels you to your room.
Early in the morning, you're wheeled to the delivery room.
Ransom changes into scrubs,
You have the hospital gown on backwards to make it easier to give birth.
Ransom almost faints, but manages to keep it together for you.
He even cuts the cords when the twins come out.
Harlan arrives first, followed by Katherine 25 minutes later.
Ransom tears up when Katherine is born, but you can't wipe the genuine smile off of his face.
Ransom gets to hold them after you.
He even gives both Harlan and Katherine skin-to-skin contact.
Ransom takes the three of you home after a few days.
Ransom wouldn't trade it for the world.
Andy Barber:
Andy took care of you when you were pregnant with Joy.
You had hyperemesis gravidarum when you were pregnant with Joy.
He won't let you lift or carry anything.
You're off your feet as much as possible.
"Honey, I'll take care of the laundry. You shouldn't be lifting that heavy basket."
"Honey, let me bring in the groceries. You shouldn't be lifting those heavy bags."
"Sit down, honey. I'll unpack the groceries."
You go into labor on March 6.
Andy starts to time your contractions.
Andy rushes you to the hospital.
You give birth to Joy, and Andy is in the delivery room.
He cuts the umbilical cord.
He went through this whole song and dance with Laurie, so he knew what he was doing.
He's also in the delivery room when you give birth to Penelope.
He got you to the hospital straight away, on account of your diabetes.
Andy wouldn't trade this for the world.
Colins Shea
Colin goes through the list every day until you go into labor.
Cole loves talking to your belly, singing to your belly, rubbing cocoa butter on your belly, and feeling Harper and Robbie kick.
You planned a water birth.
When you go into labor after your doctor's appointment, you're more nervous than Colin.
Colin is the one who rushes you to the hospital, and gets his brother because his brother is a cop, and he wanted to make sure you guys got to the hospital safely.
Eventually, Colin helps you get into the birthing pool, and he's in his swim trunks.
Damn, does he need to be shirtless right now?
Colin is behind you, and you start to push.
Harper Marie Shea is born.
Four years later, you give birth to Robert James Shea on December 4, 2014.
Colin was also in the birthing pool with you when you were giving birth to Robbie.
The Shea clan is now complete.
Jake Jensen
You're 38 and a half weeks along with the girls.
Jake leads you back to the couch, and places pillows under your feet and under your head.
You're making sugar cookies for your niece's bake sale, but Jake takes over, and manages to finish them without burning.
Dinner was a whole different story.
Jake orders pizza.
Later that night, you have your first contraction.
Jake gets you to the hospital early the next morning.
You start to push.
Anna Eve is born first, then Elsa Marie is born a few minutes later.
Jake faints in the delivery room.
A few days later, you and Jake go home with Anna and Elsa.
They're the best Christmas present.
Johnny Storm
Johnny is in the delivery room when you give birth to Jake.
Johnny keeps it together, knowing that his son will be born soon.
Your contractions start, sooner than expected, and Johnny calls the midwife.
You have a home birth, because your house is basically fireproof.
A hospital just isn't!
You have the nursery set up, and you give birth right in your and Johnny's bedroom.
Jake is cleaned up by the midwife.
Johnny was behind you the whole time.
It was important that Johnny didn't get too excited.
Your mind goes back to the Superbowl when you and Johnny just moved in together.
He almost burned your house down!
Now, he managed to keep it together because you needed him right now.
Jacob Allen Storm is born on November 7.
He looks just like Johnny!
"IT'S A BOY! GO TEAM BOY!"
Of course, it's a boy.
Johnny was always on team boy!
You never told Johnny, but you were team girl.
Aunt Susan was team girl.
You pump your milk, and feed Jake from a bottle.
Jake just couldn't breast feed.
You and Johnny are more in love, and fell in love with Jake the second he was placed in your arms.
Pete Brenner
Pete is working from home, and when your contractions start on March 16, Pete springs into action.
Pete has the hospital bag packed, the car seat is loaded in the car, so is the stroller.
On March 17, you give birth to Zoe Eve Brenner.
He's missing out on the festivities, but the birth of your first child is something that he's not missing.
He calls your parents and his parents with updates-every hour!
"She's ready to go into the delivery room! Gotta go!"
Pete is in scrubs, and is telling you when to breathe, when to push, wiping the sweat from your forehead, saying soothing things.
Three years later, you give birth to Mary Elizabeth Brenner.
Mary is born on July 5.
Pete is behind you, then, too.
Pete was the first one to hold both girls.
Pete cut the cords.
Pete loves being a dad.
He loves being a girl dad!
Cole Turner
Cole delivers the twins, while he's rushing you to the hospital.
Your contractions are at two minutes apart, and when he sees how far your dilating, you're at ten centimeters.
Cole removes your pants and your panties, and he tells you to start pushing!
Lucas Jeffrey is born first, then Dawn Eve is born.
The twins are healthy.
Cole didn't help deliver the twins-he actually delivered them!
Yep, the same place where you got a flat tire, and met Cole was the same place where you gave birth!
The ambulance arrives, and Cole follows.
The twins make you and Cole feel complete.
Cole loves being a dad!
He reads to the twins every day!
You also read to the twins.
You and Cole take the twins home after a few days.
Cole and you fall even more in love.
Cole loves being a dad, and he loves his twins!
Ari Levinson
Ari is ready to go!
He gets you in the car in record time.
You're in the hospital in no time!
The car seats are loaded in the car, so is the stroller, the diaper bags, and the hospital bag.
Ari loves talking to your belly, and rubbing cocoa butter on your belly.
You don't want to get stretch marks.
Ari is behind you, and eventually Zachary Andrew is born first, then Elijah Matthew is born.
He cuts their cords, and he gets to hold them.
Of course, twin boys are much different than twin girls.
You and Ari decide to have a bris for the boys, because Ari's Jewish, and you want to keep a few traditions.
Five years later, Lillian Eve is born.
Ari is behind you, and he cuts the cord. He's the first to hold Lillian.
Your and Ari's heart are full of even more love.
The boys also love Lillian, and they stop arguing.
When it's time to feed Lillian, the boys won't let you or Ari feed her.
Zachary likes to hold her, while Elijah likes to feed her from her bottle.
The boys never argue over who gets to feed Lillian because of their arrangement.
Of course, they're super protective of Lillian.
Ari loves being a dad, and spending time with you and the kids.

Ive been struggling a lot with my self image to the point I’m having breakdowns in the mirror. I need help from anyone who can.
I’m AFAB agender/non binary and ive got some gripes about me I want help in altering in any way if I could get help finding resources or workouts or anything that would help me achieve a more masculine silhouette I would kiss you on the mouth (with your consent of course )
I am 24 years old, 5’7”/170.18cm, 195lbs/88.5kg, type one diabetic, neurodivergent (diagnosed ADHD, high suspicion of comorbid Autism though i cannot get an official diagnosis because the waitlist closest to home is a 2 year wait as of 2022) fibromyalgia is also present for anyone who needs any context regarding health concerns surrounding medical procedures they might recommend or suggest
Below are the things I need help in changing as a list with some details surrounding my anatomical structure
My goal is to be completely unsure if I’m a male or female with a look alone but with androgyny that can be a pretty broad area. I know if I gain upper body musculature that can help but I cannot afford a gym membership yet
vvv More below vvv
I have an exceptionally voluptuous butt. Its almost comical to me, I would say I’m slim-thick or pear shaped. Its the type of back end that a lot of cis femme women would covet, its mostly muscle tissue due to years of athletics but theres also scar tissue from years of insulin injections
My hips are VERY wide. Like I said I’m pear shaped, I hate the curvy figure I have and its rounded edges, I have small pockets of fat resting on my hips that only add to the figure
I have a very stubborn hormonal fat deposit on my stomach I want to stop oral birth control which is the most likely culprit but I currently cannot until I can get a hysterectomy
I have a muffin top and artificial hip dips due to fat deposits that I am looking to tame
Chest dysphoria, I don’t have large boobs, they’re a perky B/C cup. I would consider top surgery but I don’t know how to bring that up with my partner. I do use a fytist binder and I love how my chest looks flat/with nice pectoral muscle (even if its smushed boob). My partner loves the way I am shaped overall but I do not. (He/him/they/them bisexual)
Facial features are so rounded and I cant contour to save my life. I know losing weight will be seen in the face first but what else can I do?
Speaking of face I have loose skin under my chin thats not a double chin but any type of glance downward makes a pseudo double chin and I’m incredibly insecure about it. I have a relatively feminine jaw line and I have a jaw exerciser/silicone bite that I need to use more. Are neck tucks something available for me?
I have hooded eyes, they make me look so tired. I know eye lid lifts are a procedure but thats something I would need to save up for and plan for, I am unsure if losing weight would change this
The triceps of my arms feel like they’re on the road to bingo wings/bat wings, I know the tricep is supposed to hang freely when relaxed and not in use but when my arm hands at my side there is a bit of pudge above my elbow that says “body fat” and not soft muscle
I understand weight loss can help with a small handful of these and muscle building can too but there are additional features and traits that cannot be worked for aside from medical intervention and cosmetic electives. I’m looking for workouts, medical procedures and price ranges, shapewear, makeup tutorials, diets that help in weight loss or muscle gain, and literally anything else that might help me feel like this is my body. Its becoming a large hinderance on my mental wellbeing
I really cannot keep dwelling on how my body is wrong when its something I am stuck with for life so all I can do is work to alter it and care for it. However I know these alterations are possible. Ive seen incredible transformations and transitions within the trans community and NB communities and I’m really hoping some of your experiences can be passed onto me so that I can live as myself too
I appreciate those that have taken the time to read this far. Thank you
#please if you don’t have anything to add to my post here can you boost it or reblog it#looking to find body positivity at the end of this road#I have been struggling with being a biological female my whole life#I am not happy being a woman and I cannot see myself as a man#nb#enby#trans#transmasc#trans healthcare#body dysmorphia#body dysphoria#gender dysphoria#gender dysmorphia#resources#trans resources#genderqueer#agender#androgynous#androgynism#androgyny#nonbinary#afab#afab nonbinary#afab problems#afab enby#afab dysphoria#afab nb#afab struggles#insecurity#self dislike

I know I’ve been harping on this for a minute but people saying they’d be willing to help homeless people pay for what they need AS LONG AS they’re not giving them cash do not understand how creepy it is to try and control the direct way homeless people use your money. Calling someone an Uber or offering to drive them somewhere or pay for their hotel gives you knowledge of their exact whereabouts and possibly forces them to be alone with you. Offering to pay for their medications gives you information on their medical history & usually their full name and where they might frequent to pick prescriptions up in the future. If someone needs birth control or plan b or a pregnancy test or PEP that’s an entirely different level of invasion that most people don’t want to risk. If they need products for children you now know they have children while being vulnerable in countless different ways. And for the thousandth time yes someone may need cigarettes or alcohol or drugs or even their prescription medications they can only acquire illegally (diabetes medication and diy hrt are two big ones) because believe it or not most homeless people find it a bit difficult to afford doctors appointments and maintain prescriptions and even if they do maintain them likely don’t have insurance!

NEGATIVE EFFECTS STRONG JUPITER IN ONE'S BIRTH CHART ACCORDING TO VEDIC ASTROLOGY
In Vedic astrology, Jupiter (Guru) is revered as a benefic planet, symbolizing wisdom, prosperity, and spiritual growth. However, despite its generally positive associations, a strong Jupiter in one's birth chart can lead to certain negative effects if its energies are not balanced.
This complexity underscores the nuanced nature of astrology, where even beneficial influences can have shadow aspects. Here’s a detailed exploration of the potential negative effects of a strong Jupiter in Vedic astrology.
1. Overindulgence and Excess
A prominent Jupiter can amplify tendencies towards indulgence. This may manifest in various areas of life:
Material Wealth: Those influenced by a strong Jupiter may find themselves pursuing material possessions excessively. While financial abundance is a positive trait, it can lead to a lifestyle characterized by overspending, luxury, and consumerism. This might create an illusion of security, which can be destabilizing if not managed wisely.
Health Risks: Overindulgence often extends to food, alcohol, and other pleasures. The tendency to indulge can result in health issues such as obesity, diabetes, or liver problems, which can compromise overall well-being.
2. Overconfidence and Arrogance
Jupiter's expansive nature often leads to increased self-assurance. While confidence is crucial for success, excessive confidence can morph into arrogance.
Poor Decision-Making: Individuals with a strong Jupiter may underestimate challenges or overestimate their abilities. This overconfidence can result in risky business ventures, poor financial decisions, or failed projects.
Relationship Strain: An arrogant demeanor can alienate friends, family, and colleagues. Such individuals may struggle to listen to others or appreciate differing viewpoints, leading to conflicts and misunderstandings.
3. Dogmatism and Rigid Beliefs
Jupiter is associated with knowledge, philosophy, and higher learning. However, a strong Jupiter can lead to rigidity in one’s beliefs.
Closed-Mindedness: People with a strong Jupiter may become set in their views, believing they possess the ultimate truth. This dogmatism can hinder personal growth and limit exposure to new ideas or perspectives.
Conflict with Others: A tendency to impose beliefs on others can lead to friction in relationships, as discussions may become confrontational rather than constructive. This rigidity can be particularly problematic in diverse environments where multiple viewpoints exist.
4. Neglect of Practicality and Details
Jupiter's expansive influence can result in a focus on the big picture, often at the expense of practical details.
Lack of Planning: Individuals may rush into projects or ventures without adequate planning, believing that their luck or intuition will suffice. This lack of attention to detail can result in failures or setbacks.
Missed Opportunities: By overlooking the finer points, individuals might miss out on important opportunities. This can manifest in various life areas, including career, finance, and personal relationships.
5. Excessive Optimism
While optimism is generally a positive trait, when Jupiter’s influence becomes excessive, it can lead to unrealistic expectations.
Disappointment and Frustration: Individuals may set overly ambitious goals without a grounded plan, leading to inevitable disappointment. When reality fails to meet expectations, it can cause frustration and a sense of failure.
Complacency: An overly optimistic perspective may prevent individuals from recognizing potential risks or challenges. This complacency can inhibit proactive behavior and hinder success.
6. Materialism and Attachment to Wealth
While Jupiter signifies abundance, an overly strong Jupiter may create a materialistic mindset.
Spiritual Neglect: An emphasis on material success can lead to the neglect of spiritual growth or inner fulfillment. Individuals may find themselves prioritizing wealth over wisdom, ultimately feeling unfulfilled.
Social Comparisons: A focus on material wealth can lead to constant comparisons with others, resulting in feelings of inadequacy or envy if one’s achievements don’t match societal standards.
7. Difficulty in Accepting Criticism
A strong Jupiter can create an inflated sense of self, making it difficult for individuals to accept criticism.
Defensiveness: When confronted with feedback, such individuals may react defensively rather than constructively. This can inhibit personal growth and damage relationships, as open communication becomes challenging.
Resistance to Change: Difficulty in accepting criticism can also lead to a resistance to change, preventing individuals from adapting to new circumstances or learning from past experiences.
8. Judgmental Nature
Individuals with a strong Jupiter might develop a tendency to judge others based on their beliefs or values.
Moral Superiority: A belief in one’s moral or intellectual superiority can lead to a judgmental attitude, fostering resentment and alienation in personal and professional relationships.
Difficulty in Forgiveness: A strong sense of justice and ethics can make it hard for individuals to forgive others, leading to grudges that impede personal peace and relationships.
9. Isolation through High Standards
The high ideals associated with Jupiter can lead to setting exceedingly high standards for oneself and others.
Loneliness: Striving for perfection or expecting too much from others can create isolation. Friends and colleagues may feel they cannot meet these expectations, leading to a shrinking social circle.
Self-Criticism: An internalized sense of failure to meet one’s own high standards can result in self-criticism and decreased self-esteem, affecting mental health.
10. Misalignment of Values
A strong Jupiter might lead to confusion between personal values and societal expectations.
Conflict of Interests: Individuals may pursue paths or careers that don’t align with their authentic selves due to external pressures, leading to dissatisfaction and a sense of being unfulfilled.
Identity Crisis: The struggle to align personal beliefs with societal expectations can lead to existential questioning and an identity crisis, causing significant emotional turmoil.
While a strong Jupiter in one's birth chart can bestow numerous benefits such as wisdom, generosity, and success, it is essential to be aware of the potential negative effects. Overindulgence, overconfidence, dogmatism, and other traits can manifest if Jupiter's energies are not balanced. Awareness and conscious effort to mitigate these effects can lead to a more harmonious existence, allowing individuals to harness the positive attributes of Jupiter while minimizing its challenges. As with all astrological influences, the key lies in self-awareness, humility, and a willingness to grow.

About my stance you don't have to go to a hospital to give birth.
I don't expect people to just trust what I say, please question everything I say, and do your own research.
First, if you have a know high risk factor, like sever obesity, anemia, diabetes, etc. Plan to do it in a hospital.
Infant mortality rates in the US are about 6 in 1k. Putting the US at 50 of 192. Looks bad. I can understand a knee jerk reaction assuming it'd be worse with less hospital births. The problem is among the top 10 causes for death, most can be detected early, several it won't matter where you give birth. From most common to least common, that top 10 is: (Cause: Brief description. number of deaths per 100k)
Congenital Malformations: AKA Birth Defects, mostly incompatible with life, like missing organs. 109
Short Gestation: Birth before term reached. 78
SIDS/Cot Death: Death for no apparent cause. 40
Accidents: Accidental drops, rough handling, etc. 37
Maternal Complications of pregnancy: Miscarriages, stillborn. 33
Complications of placenta, cord, and membranes: suffocation is common. 17
Bacterial Sepsis: Infection kills tissue. 17
Respiratory distress of newborn: difficulty breathing. 12
Diseases of circulatory system: Heart complications. 9
Neonatal hemorrhage: bleed to death from operations like circumcision. 9
Not to downplay the tragedy that any of these involve. For 1 and 2 you'll likely be in the hospital, as 1 will usually be detected early, and 2 will send you there in a panic of pain and confusion.
Number 3 just happens. Being at home or in the hospital will have no bearing, 4 is likewise mostly unpreventable. 5 is also one where you'll end up in the hospital regardless, but the hospital won't change the outcome.
6 and beyond are approaching the "vanishingly rare" territory.
Speaking of 6, this one actually got me. The cord wrapped around my neck, I suffocated. So yeah, had my mother opted for home birth I wouldn't be here. I have a lovely scar from the comedy of errors that followed.
The hospital can't do much for a newborn with sepsis, number 7. 8 and 9 likely have time to enact your emergency plan and get to a hospital. 10 was probably caused by the hospital.
The vast majority of these infant deaths will not be changed by being in a hospital, some may have been prevented by being at home, like some of the accidents.

The Alberta government will opt out of the federal government's pharmacare program covering diabetes medication and birth control. The deal is part of a supply-and-confidence agreement between the federal NDP and the governing Liberals. In a news conference Monday, Alberta Health Minister Adriana LaGrange said the province is unhappy the deal was reached without consulting with the provinces first. LaGrange said Alberta has "robust" coverage of medications through programs like Alberta Blue Cross, even though the plan has limits and requires people to pay for coverage.

What are the potential outcomes of a multiple pregnancy?
Multiple pregnancies, such as twins, triplets, or higher-order multiples, can have a range of potential outcomes, both positive and challenging. Here are some of the key potential outcomes:
Preterm birth: Multiple pregnancies have a higher risk of preterm delivery, which can lead to complications for the babies.Low birth weight: Babies in multiple pregnancies tend to have lower birth weights, which can increase the risk of health problems.Pregnancy complications: Mothers carrying multiples have an increased risk of gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and other pregnancy-related complications.
Positive outcomes:Successful delivery: Many multiple pregnancies result in the delivery of healthy, thriving babies, especially with appropriate prenatal care and monitoring.Sibling bonding: Twins, triplets, or higher-order multiples can develop strong bonds and close relationships with each other, which can be a positive outcome.Increased family size: Multiple pregnancies can be a blessing for families who desire a larger family.
Potential challenges:Neonatal intensive care: Babies born prematurely or with low birth weights may require neonatal intensive care, which can be stressful and financially burdensome for families.Developmental concerns: Some multiples may experience developmental delays or other health issues, requiring additional support and interventions.Emotional and financial strain: Caring for multiple infants can be physically, emotionally, and financially demanding for parents.
The specific outcomes of a multiple pregnancy can vary greatly depending on factors such as the number of babies, the gestational age at delivery, the presence of any congenital anomalies or complications, and the availability of appropriate medical care and support for the family.
It's important for expectant parents with a multiple pregnancy to work closely with their healthcare providers to develop a comprehensive plan for prenatal care, delivery, and post-natal support. This can help optimize the chances of positive outcomes and minimize the potential challenges.

Ms Smith: I’m sure that the members opposite can read through the list of drugs that are included in our pharmacare plan. We have multiple plans, some for those on AISH, some for those with disabilities, some for those seniors, and we have something called nongroup coverage, which anyone can get if they don’t have an employer-sponsored plan. In that plan there are 50 different birth control methods. There are also 16 different insulin products as well as nine different products for diabetes. That is the program that we would like to expand.
Ms Notley: And that is the program that is not free.
