Long Overdue || Max & Dia

[♫] — Max had been called to Arcadia, not for work, but an appointment of sorts. Apparently the school there had been calling in experts from many fields to give lectures in a seminar they were holding for the students, and as one of the most prominent entrepreneurs in the archipelago, not to mention a De Sainte-Coquille, Max had been one of the professionals asked to come in. 

And even with his tight schedule, he was loathe to decline the chance to provide some much needed knowledge and enlightenment to the younger generation. Especially Arcadian youths, who were no doubt already at a disadvantage career wise due to the island’s many setbacks.

As he enters the school, this interestingly named Arcane Academy, he is almost immediately greeted by a dark haired woman. Obviously one of the faculty members. 

“Why, hello, and thank you for having me! I simply can’t wait to speak to the kids, Miss...” Or Missus? And her name, too, he had no idea what that was. Oh, how he wished there was a simpler way of knowing these sorts of things from the start! It would do wonders for these incredibly awkward pauses. “I’m sorry, I don’t believe I’ve caught your name.”
