You know, it's funny. I just learned that the English name for a marigold is cempasuchil. On top of that after watching the play Marigold where Meimi stars in, I learned that in the language of flowers it means despair. But that seems to be in the Victorian meaning, because for us Mexicans it means purity, divinity, and the connection between life and death. It is said to be a gift by the Sun God and helps lead the dead with it's scent.

In any case, another year has passed. It's been a tough one but I hope that things will finally start getting better in this coming year. Either way, there's no other option than to keep going at it.
