Hey! About church grim, (Lil question-) was Tom ever a human? Or has he always been a unnatural entity/church grim? (I've been thinking alot about this book lately is all-)

omg, I didnt think someone would still be thinking about CG given its more of my ‘distraction’ fic than anything. But yie, here, its all but confirmed in this part, I didn’t plan on hiding the fact that Tom used to be human, since most lore about Church Grims were either it was an animal or it was the first buried soul.

If anything, the “hidden” fact would just be about how he got there and why he became the Church Grim.
