Vishwaroopa Talon Abraxas

Vishwaroopa ("Universal form", "Omni-form"), also known popularly as Vishvarupa Darshan, Vishwaroopa and Virata rupa, is an iconographical form and manifestation of Shri Vishnu or his avatar Krishna. The direct revelation by the One without a Second, Master-Lord of the Universe.

In the climactic war in the Mahabharata, the Pandava prince Arjuna and his brothers fight against their cousins, the Kauravas with Shri Vishnus Avatar Lord Krishna as his charioteer. Faced with moral dilemma that whether or not to fight against and kill his own or for dharma, Shri Krishna discourses him about life and death and reveals his Vishvaroopa. In Bhagavad Geeta, Krishna reveals himself as the Supreme Being and finally displays his Vishvaroopa to Arjuna.

Lord Vishnu here is depicted in a grand manner as representing a magnification of his essence containing the entire cosmos, in a form known as Vishwaroopa. This depiction came from the ancient Hindu philosophy which indicated that through the diversities of creation there always is a connecting essence that threads everything into a unified whole. While the Trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva represents the Supreme Being's diversified manifestation, the Vishwaroopa form of Shri Vishnu represents the spiritual concept of all creation being nothing more than diverse manifestations of a single essence. Since Brahma's function ceases once the process of Creation is completed and Shiva himself represents the cosmos or an extension of the cosmos, it is Shri Vishnu, in whom the Creation sustains and prevails, who requires cosmic magnification as the form of Vishwaroopa to drive home the point that the Supreme Being not only contains all creation but also sustains it.

The Vishwaroopa depiction shows Shri Vishnu as having innumerable forms eyes faces mouths and ears. All creatures of the universe are part of him. He is the infinite universe, without a beginning or and end. Each of these has its own cosmic function or represents an aspect of the cosmos. The gods depicted include Shiva, Brahma, Ganesha, Hanuman, Indra, Agni, Surya , Chandra, Maruta (Wind God), Kubera (God of wealth), Varuna (God of water) and Yama (Time) and Brahma's three sons. Various sages, asuras , demons, gods and goddesses, while Shri Vishnu retains the central position. Amongst few, Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu together form the Trinity, Ganesh and Hanuman represent faith and divinity. Agni or Fire represents life, energy and vitality. Maruta, the wind-god represents space, while Indra represents rains and cosmic balance. Yama depicts the infinite nature of time while Varuna the ocean God represents water. Kubera represents prosperity and riches. The Sun and Moon represent the cycle of birth, death, decay and finally dissolution. Brahma's three sons represent the entire mankind. Taken together as one entity they constitute the entire cosmos.!

When MileApo sleep together

Apo meditates before sleeping while Mile loves to listen to Ajarn Yod’s podcast (a dharma storyteller)

Apo imitates the Ajarn Yod’s voice he’s forced to listen to at night 😂

Mile says that one time he woke up and saw Apo meditating and for a second thought that ajarn yod was still talking lol

Apo said that if he wants to meditate, he has to wait for Mile to fall asleep first ahaha so he walks around the room waiting and pokes Mile to check if he’s definitely fallen asleep 😂

Apo also said that Mile sleeps with crossed legs and with an arm supporting his head and added: “who sleeps in such a handsome way??” 😁

So Mile teased him: “i think the reason why he answered the question in such a detailed way is because he was sitting and watching me lying down for sure. How detailed is that?” Ahsskdkfj

A few months back I started an alternate YouTube account I've only ever used to watch Dharma talks, hours-long mantra recitations, and other Buddhist-related videos. And I have always found it very telling of the YouTube algorithm's priorities how it seems DETERMINED to get me to reconvert to Christianity by recommending me sermons or podcasts or rosary pray-alongs no matter how much I dismiss them from my recommendations. It's even more prevalent than new age-ey yoga and energy healing type content which you'd think would be a lot more prevalent given the stuff I actually watch.

I can’t take credit for the idea of dyeing Caring for Baby. The first one to do it was smallscalestyles, and of course others have been dyeing AG dolls for ages. I followed smallscalestyles guidelines but I wrote my own notes on the dye “recipe.”

Dye is RIT DyeMore Synthetic in Sandstone and Chocolate Brown

I had roughly ten minutes in between each addition of dye (indicated by a line break). I started out with 3 capfulls of Sandstone and 1 capfull of Chocolate Brown 2 capfulls Chocolate Brown - at this point the doll looked very reddish 2 capfulls Sandstone 1 capfull Sandstone 1 capfull Chocolate Brown

Notes and observations:

The doll will look reddish but if you lift her out of the pot and let her air dry for a few seconds the dried sections of her body will be closer to the final color. If you want her to match another doll, have that doll handy. (I did not do this.)

I separated the doll’s limbs, head, and body to the best of my ability because I didn’t want there to be any water trapped inside. I included a picture for anyone who is curious about Caring for Baby’s construction. The arms were VERY firmly attached and I could only get one arm off with lots of struggle.

Overall I think the whole process took about an hour and ten minutes. I suggest having a podcast or audiobook to listen to while you wait for the water to boil.

The baby will float. I used a slotted spoon I had from Dharma Trading but you really need something firmer with some weight on it to hold the doll down. The slotted spoon was more useful for lifting the doll out of the dye. I used a pair of chopsticks and the slotted spoon to hold the doll down.

I let the doll dry overnight on a towel. I put her together the next day after warming up the sockets with a hairdryer. The legs went in much more easily than the arm and head.

Her skin tone is now much darker and deeper than my Therese (#45).
