do we have any news on the next dgm chapter?

Not that I’m aware of, I’ve checked Shueisha’s website and it’s not been updated with regards to SQ.Crown so there’s no current confirmation that we’re getting a DGM chapter in the next volume, as far as I’m aware. Hopefully we’ll get some news soon.

In other news...

They also announced who will perform the ending of D.Gray-Man Hallow. It will be Mashiro Ayano, whose famous record it seems was “Ideal White” from Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works. Listen here, to check her out.

They also announced the new cast for a few of the Noahs (Tyki, Road, Wisely) and Alma Karma (I’ll post them later, but everyone else has the word “New” attached to them except Tachibana for Link and Murase for Allen—new as main cast most likely??). Also, we get treated to something like this:

WHICH is vague… but could probably mean he’ll get his own backstory kind of arc in the anime???? A bit like Kanda before with the lotus thing?? Probably something Hoshino-sensei directly added for production, because that kind of line is definitely confident-sounding. And we did see a lot of Lavi in her instagram lately, including a two-page short of child Lavi and Bookman. 

So yeah, these are the other news besides THAT ONE DISAPPOINTING TWO-PAGE SPREAD OF DISMEMBERED LENALEE!!! =.= GRRR

Soo, do you know if we get a new chapter this month?

Sadly, we’re not. If you check Shueisha’s official website, D.Gray-Man isn’t listed under the content for the new SQ.Crown. There doesn’t seem to be any announcements about the status of the series either, so we’ll have to wait for either something to be announced on their official twitter, or just hope we hear something in the next issue in July.

uhmmm, i'm confused, is the chapter going to be released in January or April?

There will apparently be 7 pages of DGM published in January’s SQ.CROWN (sources: x x) but a full chapter will be published in April, though there isn’t absolute confirmation of that yet. There is a likelihood that Hoshino’s health has gotten bad again (especially after Hallow airing at the end of last year) so there being longer gaps between chapters / less chapter content wouldn’t be surprising, and we should respect that Hoshino’s health is way more important than us getting updates.

The raws will be out in Japan soon so we’ll just have to wait and see.
