DFO strikes again ! Almost everybody in DFO fandom, might have heard about the weird coincidence where AFO's prison number 1541 spells Hisashi. Well, folks, we found Hisashi again! And this time it is in Izuku's Birthday. 15th of July. July =7 1 = ichi (kanji 一 ) 5= go/sa (nanori reading) (kanji 五) month 7 = nana, shichi (kanji 七)
ichi (一) can also be read as hi (五) can be sa, we already know. nana, shichi (七) also have a reading shi (N.B. the reading shi is not used as it is homophone to shi (death) in japanese. They consider it unlucky.) 15th of July implies hi-sa-shi. It's so mysterious, that we find the man's name in so many ways but the man himself doesn't show up. (or does he? 👀)

Hey guys
I need to make a quick update of my whereabouts and why I havent answered any asks or messages lately. But first, I want to apologiese to everyone who worried about me. It wasnt my intention to make you worry, the last few weeks (months actually) were just quite stressfull for me and Im barely online anymore. I want you to know that you guys dont need to worry and Im really sorry if you did. Life is just quite difficult for me in the moment. I bother with some health issus right now (its NOT life threatening though!) both physical and mental and I have to take a few meds every day. These meds make me very tired and unmotivated to do anything Im not forced to do. I also had a lot of doctor appointments in the last few weeks and need to visit my doctor regulary. Again, its nothing life threatening but it tires me out and I dont feel very well in the moment. Most of the time I just want to be left alone so I can rest. Plus my private life is also quite messy right now and that doesnt help to increase my health. Since my health issues also have mental consequences I decided to stay away from any social media as much as possible, because the internet can be a toxic and stressful enviroment and I have realized that I feel worse if I lure to much on social media sites. I even try to avoid world news because they make me feel depressed. Even writing this short post is difficult for me, because I dont want to think or talk about my problems.
So again, Im very VERY sorry that I worried you guys, but it also warms my heart to see how many of you asked about my whereabouts and if Im okay! Thats so very sweet of you all! ❤️ And just a quick comment about mha. Im not lying to you, but right now Im not really invested in it anymore. The manga turned into a big dissapointment for me and I pretty much lost all my interest in it. I will still check out the last chapter and Im still positive about dfo to be revealed in the last chapter. But I already mentioned in the past that I dont think anymore that dfo will have an satisfying conclusion. It would be hilarious if it turns out the afo clone theory is indeed true though, because I was JOKING when I came up with it! I think its possible that hori will not confirm the theory right out, but just give very strong clues and hints like giving us a glimpse of the holes in hisashis hands. I heard, in a recent interview hori mentioned that he likes to leave things vague so people can come up with their own interpretations and conclusions, which I cant say is a smart move. Still, Im positive about dfo. I will eventually drop a post about the last chapter and talk about dfo if it turns out canon!
You are still welcome to send me asks but it will take me time to answer them. Im also not sure what I will do with this blog when mha is done, since its a mha/dfo centered blog. Eventually I just start a new one at one point.
A lot of hugs to you guys and see ya 🥰

Also, also...
This has been a recent brainworm of mine and I'm tired of it so I'm passing the baton onto you, you're so welcome.
Every time AFO dies, it's the same reaction. If you hate DFO you use it as an excuse to negate the theory, if you love DFO you have mixed opinions (mostly disappointment,) but what's consistent is that everyone always thinks it's the end, there's a majority of people that I've seen not question it.
I'm so envious of these people because it's like AFO never gave them trust issues.
This man is a cockroach, not a wolf, or even a dragon like you'd think. That bitch is cockroach. And here's a list of his deaths to prove it.
First fight with All Might, he legally died but was resurrected. This man's entire skull was crushed and still came back.
Fight with Bakugou where he blinked out of existence with rewind.
And now his vestige dies with Tomura in his fight with Izuku.
THREE DEATHS... Three times has he died, and two of those times he was revived in some way. This is also a man who fears death, who has PTSD from his fight with All Might, who made himself immortal to escape death. This man doesn't normally appear places himself, he doesn't do his own dirty work, when it comes to fights, often. He always does it at a distance. He's terrified of death, despite his strength. That alone makes him having clones, (not even just one,) very logical. It's almost out of character of him to NOT have clones. When he makes multiple plans, as seen in Kamino, he always has multiple avenues to his goals. He's known for his backup plans, like with Tomura, he also had Dabi and other kids from the orphanage. He's determined and calculating, he'd not likely to use such a risky avenue to achieve what he wants, not without a solid backup plan. And his vestige in Tomura isn't a solid enough backup plan to fall back on. A lot can go wrong there, as we've seen. He died before he even got close to him, and Tomura's hatred was too strong to take control over.
Who in their right mind, who's supposed to be extremely intelligent put all your eggs in one basket considering his fears, considering his 200-year-old goals.
I think it's very plausible for him to have a clone, and this bitch has died and came back WAY too many times for me to host a funeral.

"Familiarity."
Summary:
Izuku thought the war couldn't get any worse.
He was wrong.
--
"And Izuku can’t decide which is worse. That Hisashi Midoriya’s memory is being tainted by this evil man, and his presence in Izuku’s life was cut short by forces outside of his control. Or that Hisashi Midoriya was really just a facade donned by All for One in a series of facades, and all the fond memories Izuku holds of his father are false."
Inspired by both the theory that the AFO in the current battle is actually a clone, and the real one is Hisashi Midoriya who is working in America. And by a comment discussion between me and Gwen on another one of my DFO fanfics. So, big thanks to them for letting me ramble <3
Trigger warnings: AFO being himself, a teenager in distress, and canonical violence.
Warning: There is a major spoiler warning for chapter 423 within the first couple paragraphs!!
---
It’s over.
Shigaraki’s body disintegrates into nothing. The remaining pieces are carried away by the wind. It’s a sad send off, and nothing about it makes Izuku the least bit happy.
The last embers of One for All burn up. He can feel the familiar warmth fade away, and just like that gravity catches up to him. Wind whistles through his hair as he starts the quick descent back to the hard ground below.
He’s not worried. Falling is easy. He has enough faith in his classmates and the remaining Pro heroes to catch him.
He can’t get Shigaraki’s defeated expression out of his head. Izuku wanted so desperately to save him. All of him, but it wasn’t enough.
Izuku wasn’t enough. He wasn’t smart enough, nor strong enough to pull Shigaraki out of All for One’s parasitic grasp. Ironically, him wanting to save Shigaraki might have been the one thing that damned him. Maybe if he hadn’t-
He coughs. There’s something in his chest, in his lungs. Like mucus. Izuku coughs again, trying to ease the tension in his lungs. Some of it comes up, just as he lands in Iida’s arms. His friend smiles at him, exhaustion and pain evident on Iida’s usual stern face.
Kacchan wobbles over to him, holding his side. “Hey, nerd,” he says, but there’s no bite to his tone.
Izuku opens his mouth to respond, to thank Iida for catching him. To tell Kacchan and the others that he’s proud of them, that he’s happy that they came to help. But when he does that, a rush of water spills from his open mouth.
His eyes widened. He falls to his knees. Dark spots dance in his vision. The water, at least that’s what Izuku assumes it is, has the consistency of snot and the taste of sewer water.
His friends rush over, holding him steady.
Something prickles under his skin, down his arms and over his hands. Electricity. Not unlike how he felt with One for All dancing under his skin, waiting and ready for use. But One for All is gone…
His stomach cramps. Izuku groans, falling forward onto his knees in spite of his friends’ best efforts. Their voices meld together, mixing into a cacophony that hurts his ears.
The dark spots grow larger, blocking Izuku’s vision until everything is eclipsed. Blindly, he reaches out for help. Needing reassurance that everything’s okay. That he isn’t dying. That this is all because he pushed his body a little too hard and not because something terrible has taken root.
“Kacchan…” he claws at the ground. “Mom….mama help me!” His eyes burn. He’s scared. “All Might!” His voice is inaudible to everyone except himself. Every word is intercepted by another mouthful of liquid. “Dad!”
In between one heart beat and the next, Izuku is back in the vestige realm. He knows it’s the vestige realm, and specifically All for One’s vestige realm, by the absence of anything at all. Just a big empty void with swirling winds and not a soul in sight.
The heavy feeling in his chest and the dark spots in his vision have disappeared. It would be a relief if not for what him being here means.
“All for One!” He calls out. There’s no reply. Of course there’s not. Because if Izuku’s here, then that means All for One’s out-
He summons all his energy into calling All for One back here. “All for One! Answer me!” And the man does, strangely enough.
He appears before Izuku, but he looks…different. Familiar somehow.
Izuku doesn’t let the moment go to waste. “Let me go!”
All for One tilts his head to the side, a pitying look on his face. Without wanting to, Izuku studies the strange familiarity in the man’s face. “But I’m not even holding you.”
“You know what I mean,” he snaps, fists clenched at his sides. “I’m not going to be another vessel for you to live out your dying dreams in. Let. Me. Go!” He lunges forward to punch the smug look off All for One’s face.
All for One disappears and reappears behind him. He laughs at Izuku’s strangled scream, and laughs even harder when Izuku whirls around to swing at him. His fists meet air, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to punch the man that ruined so many lives.
“All for One!” He yells at the top of his lungs. “I won’t ask you again-”
“Ask me why,” All for One says, back where he started, across from Izuku. His arms are crossed.
“Ask you why, what?”
“You know. Ask me why.”
Izuku does understand. It’s the fact that he doesn’t want to anymore that’s the problem. He’s done listening. The war is over. He both won and lost in the most important ways.
He forces himself to calm down. All for One has the advantage here. Izuku takes a deep breath, and unclenches his fists. “Why?”
All for One quirks an eyebrow. “Why what…?” He smiles.
Through gritted teeth, Izuku manages to clarify himself, “why am I here?”
All for One clicks his tongue. “Wrong question. You already know the answer to that.”
It infuriates Izuku that All for One is right. “Fine,” he spits. “Then, why are you-”
Again, All for One clicks his tongue, an almost disappointed look on his newly-restored face. And again, Izuku finds himself studying it.
The facial structure is the same.
The hair is too.
So…why….
It’s the freckles, he realizes. The same diamond shape pattern that Izuku’s had since early childhood. The same ones that he inherited from his…
Izuku takes a step back. “No,” he breathes. “This isn’t…what? Why do you look like…” he can’t bring himself to finish his sentence. Because finishing it would mean admitting that All for One looks like Hisashi Midoriya.
All for One sighs, pleased. “There we are. You know, I was almost worried you weren’t going to catch on.”
“What is this!?” Izuku feels his body tense. It reminds him of the days before he knew how to fight. He grasps at any possible reason that All for One would be wearing his father’s face.
“Oh, come now. I know it’s been a few years but-”
“No!”
Izuku tugs at his hair. He turns away. All this time he thought his father abandoned them, sending money out of obligation, but instead he was murdered or…or maybe he was being blackmailed by All for One.
He can’t decide if he should laugh or cry.
“Izuku-”
“Don’t call me that!” Izuku screams.
“Izuku,” All for One says. “I am Hisashi Midoriya.” He sounds amused, like this is all some great big joke. Like pretending to be, or actually being his father is supposed to be some hilarious spectacle.
And Izuku can’t decide which is worse. That Hisashi Midoriya’s memory is being tainted by this evil man, and his presence in Izuku’s life was cut short by forces outside of his control. Or that Hisashi Midoriya was really just a facade donned by All for One in a series of facades, and all the fond memories Izuku holds of his father are false.
“Well, I suppose that isn’t correct.” All for One hums, thinking. “I hold all the memories of being your father, but none of the emotions.” He laughs. “Makes me wonder why the other version of me allowed me to keep emotional ties to Yoichi but not to you? I almost feel cheated. Oh, well.”
But Izuku has checked out. “No! No! No!” He falls to his knees. The shadows that used to cover his body in One for All reappear, curling around him like ropes.
The ground is cold and rough, like broken concrete. He sobs.
All for One kneels down next to him. “Better luck next time, Izuku.” And then, he’s gone. Leaving Izuku to squirm against the shadows holding him down.
“I’m sorry,” he whispers.
-x-x-x-
Izuku jolts awake. The heart monitor beeps loudly, adding to his growing terror. His body aches and the terror he felt has followed him out of the vestige realm.
“Izuku, my baby,” his mom warbles. She hugs him. It’s been too long since he’s found refuge in her arms. Too long since he’s seen her. He relaxes, allowing himself to be held.
Someone, unseen by Izuku because his mom’s in the way, clears their throat. His mom straightens instantly. Her eyes are wet and her smile is wobbly. She kisses Izuku on the cheek one last time before moving to the side.
He tries to reach out for her, but his hand misses by an inch or two. He misses her warmth. He misses his mom.
But before he can say anything, a….
Izuku swallows, looking the man before him over. “You,” he says. His voice is even, though he feels shaken. His stomach roils, curling into itself.
“Me,” his d- (no, Izuku refuses to give into whatever this mind game is) All for One jokes. He has the same face as the dad he remembers. The same freckles that Izuku inherited. The same untameable, curly hair. The same concerned look on his face. Same. Same. Same.
“Get- get out,” Izuku stammers. He looks at his mom, needing her to understand him. But her eyes narrow, in the same way they do when she’s about to scold him.
“Midoriya Izuku,” she starts, but All for One holds up a hand to stop her.
“It’s okay. It’s natural for our son to be hurt by my absence. It has been quite a few years.”
The word ‘son’ makes Izuku’s previously contained nausea grow. He groans, holding an arm over his stomach.
His mom steps forward to help him, but All for One is quicker. Hands that used to hold him close and snuggle him to sleep, sit on his shoulders.
Hands that forced Tenko into a life that he didn’t deserve.
Hands that snuffed out generations of heroes. Of One for All users. Of innocent civilians.
Hands that used to wipe away Izuku’s tears when he came home crying, hurt and heartbroken for the millionth time.
“Izuku.”
He refocuses on All for One’s face. His eyes are the same white they were in his other forms, with the only difference being he actually has pupils. A ring of black in a sea of white.
“There you are.” All for One smiles. A chill runs down Izuku’s spine. He glances over at his mom, but she’s nowhere to be seen.
“Mom?” He calls out.
“She went to get a nurse. The sooner you get checked out, the sooner we can go-”
Izuku cuts him off. “Home?” He finishes. “What home? The one destroyed by the war you started?”
Something flashes in All for One’s eyes. Not anger, nor frustration, but something more than his previous concern. He tilts his head to the side. “Oh, my Izuku,” he says. “You should have been nowhere near the war.”
It’s not an admission, but it might as well be.
To anyone else All for One sounds like a father regretful that he couldn’t protect his only son from the horrors of battle. But Izuku knows better. He knows that All for One, his father or not, cares little for anything besides getting the First One for All user’s vestige back.
All for One hugs him. He smells the exact same as the last time Izuku got to hug him. Whether by conscious choice of wanting to forget who his father might be, or his subscious wanting comfort, Izuku buries his face into the crook of the man’s neck.
“It’s okay, Izuku,” All for One murmurs. “I know you don’t believe me, but I do love you. And I’ve thought about you every day we’ve been apart.”
He’s right, Izuku doesn’t believe him. But he doesn’t have the energy to pick any more fights right now, so he shrugs his shoulders.
All for One says nothing to this. His fingers comb through Izuku’s curls. “Someday, you’ll call for me, just like you used to. Like you call for your mother now. Like you called for me on the battlefield, scared and in pain. You’re still just a little boy, Izuku. You need me and your mother.”
His words catch Izuku off guard. It feels so different from everything he said before. The concern is still there, but there’s decidedly something more. Izuku would call it ‘wishful thinking’, but he knows better. Especially when All for One’s arms curl around Izuku, trapping him in.
“Why are you doing this?” Izuku asks, hoping his mom comes back soon. Over All for One’s shoulder he watches the door.
All for One releases him, only to grab his face. The corners of his mouth curl upwards, not quite a smile but close enough. He squeezes Izuku’s cheeks together. “The same reason I do anything. Love.”
Izuku glares at him. They both know that’s bullshit.
All for One lets him go, sighing sadly.
“Whether you like it or not, you are my flesh and blood. And I’m not going anywhere, anytime soon.”
Izuku slumps into his pillow. “Liar,” he mutters under his breath.
All for One leans over him, giving Izuku another (unwanted) hug. He hums, seemingly happy (of course he’s happy, Izuku thinks sourly. He’s getting what he wants…whatever that is). “I’ll let you think that son of mine.”

I had a dream DFO and Inko Shimura where when AFO and nana meet in the world of vestiges in the Liberation War, he says the following: haha stupid nana, I corrupted one of his grandchildren's morals and in the other I corrupted his genetics with mine , hahaha what are you going to do about it?
Y'know he would very much gloat about it if was given a chance. Like being responsible for ruining a whole bloodline is his thing. Look at how he erased any of Kudou's own blood line. Even woman who looked at him were killed.
So him wanting not just corrupting morality but genetics ain't much of a stretch for this man. Hence why the Inko Shimura theory still holds quite strong.

I absolutely adored the charisma stockpile hc au~!
so au of that au where the platonic yandere part of the charisma quirk Izuku got works on all the vestiges for the 5 headcanons au~!
Bonus points for DFO cuz the previous one wasn't dfo
We're revisiting an early one for last!
The vestiges never expected to be affected by the charisma stockpile, but by the time it reached Izuku, it was so strong it could work on even past holders. They do not realize it at first. They just know this adorable boy is too perfect and precious to fight. Therefore they must do it for him.
The vestiges start possessing Izuku's body and destroying all his enemies. They also look after Izuku by making him meals and bringing him presents.
Izuku is a fanboy over the new vigilantes operating in the area and trying to track them down.
Shouto has a conspiracy theory that the new group of vigilantes are all the same person because they never appear at the same time and they're all short. They keep using different quirks, but what if they are connected to the mysterious quirk-stealing head of the underworld? Could the new vigilante even be All for One? But why is he destroying Izuku's enemies? What if All for One is Izuku's father? (Shouto has reached the correct conclusion by the wrong route.)
Yoichi gets stuffed in the vault by the other vestiges for trying to claim that he has the most rights to Izuku as his uncle.
The platonic yandere power has no effect on All for One because he was already at maximum levels of yandere. He's annoyed at all these fakes hanging around his son when they don't even have real feelings, just quirk-induced ones.
The vestiges team up with All for One to annihilate Muscular after he tries to kill Izuku.

Crazy theory:
As we know, Izuku is the last possible holder of One for All, because unless he find a quirkless person, nobody could stand the power of One for All and would die.
And that made me think: "What about All for One? Could HE stand it?"
Which would be so amazing and IRONIC. If he couldn't and Izuku realize that. And so he would decide to give OfA to AfO and... he... died? Because it's canon that AfO isn't that strong as he once was and he have A LOT of quirks on his body. And he, who forced a stockpiling quirk on his brother, get killed because of that same quirk that was stockpiling so much power for more than a century and that he wanted so much back??
And so Izuku became the best hero, because he ended AfO but he realized too that he has his own AfO (because I'm a DfO stan) which he use as a form to stop the real villains...
Idk, I just got this on my mind. What do you think?
Oh, AFO can definitely handle OFA. The reason why Fourth died is because he couldn't withstand the strain of holding such a powerful quirk.
Before that, All Might already mentioned that when AFO gave too many quirks to someone, they tended to end up braindead. Machia is noted as exceptional because he can withhold five quirks.
AFO doesn't have such limitations. Especially as we now know that he isn't forced to give his quirks to the noumus; he can give them copies.
So yes, AFO can definitely take OFA and even despite all the quirks taking up brainspace, I am not sure he would be affected by the strain like the other holders were. So I wouldn't bet on AFO being killed by the OFA curse...

Nestegg theory or why Izuku has all the merch.
People wonder where Izuku does get the money for his merch. How they live in a small apartment and have money for All Might merch. More under the cut as it might get longer
First let us take a look at the families in the BNHA universe. So far only four families have more than one child. The Shimuras, The Todorokis, the IIdas and the Asui family. Now why do most families have only one child. Cost of living and security reasons. Both mix in together. The costs of living are one of the highest in Japan. In their world it might be too. Children cost money Now Security. More or less child proofing also costs money. And one needs to child proof more than usual when their child developes the abilty to lift a car or set things on fire when they turn four. Flame resistant and strong materials are pricey. Or doctor visits for quirk drawback. So thats why I think that Parents in the BNHA world try to set aside money for when the childs quirk comes in. A nestegg of money ready to pay all that is needed for a quirk. But what about the families with multiple children. The Todorokis are victims of endeavor trying to get the perfect child. As number 2 hero he is also loaded enough to pay for fire and ice resistant materials. The IIdas are pro heroes as well. Also note how Tenya and Tensei are not that close age wise. So it would be pretty easy to save up money for another child. The Asui family all has quirks related to as far as we can see non toxic frogs. Maybe they live risky enough to think that no random mutation might just appear. The parents quirks are overall very save in comparison to explosions, or electricity or ice. The shimuras I am not sure. They might have had monetary reserves. Maybe one child wasn’t planned or they thought their telekinesis quirks to be save enough not to need much. Now here we come to Izuku. The question was where he got the money for all the merch from. If we ignore the DFO theory the parents would assume that their child either has a form of telekinesis like Inko , fire breathing like Hisashi or a mixture of pyrokinesis. Overall things that would need fireproofing. Clothes that would often need replacement. Bedframes and so on. smoke detectors, fire extinguishers in every room. Just quite a number of expenses. So they probably saved up more money than usual. Now the thing is. Izuku turned out quirkless. So what is gonna happen to all that money. Well Izuku is sad. Inko doesnt want him to be sad so she uses the money to make him happy by buying him the newest All Might action figure. She just wants to see him smile after his diagnosis. Or for all we know Izuku was a child that did all sorts of odd jobs around the neighborhood helping the elderly and so on to get some extra money. Maybe buy Inko a nice motherdays gift on the way.

BnHA Chapter 317: Thoughts & comparisons part 1 - THE MEDIA
Wow, SO much is happening in this chapter that I'm splitting my thoughts into 3 posts: this one about the media (part 1), the old man and the kid (part 2), and the hero killer (part 3).
But first, a FANTASTIC joke before the ugly crying begins:
Tumblr media
* * * * * * * * * *
And before we talk media…. Nagant is alive, yay! And she’s been taken to Central Hospital, which offers state of the art care for heroes, less yay??? I mean, Dabi is treating his own burns, but Nagant gets the best care in the area because Hawks deemed her one of the “good ones”? I don’t know, they’ve both killed a lot of innocent people.
SHOTOOOoOoOOo! Ahhh, I’m so excited to even see his name mentioned! But then, I guess Endeavor’s Shoto-itis is cured? Ugh. I don’t get how he justifies blowing off Shoto actually calling him. We know Endeavor took personal time during his work to call Shoto and didn’t respect that Shoto was in class, but now that it’s the other way around (and apparently a true emergency) Endy won’t pick up. Grr. This is SUCH narcissistic and controlling parenting, demanding that the child is always wrong and always need to work around the parent’s terms.
Interesting that Mt Lady, who has been presented as a inexperienced, vain, and limited showbiz hero (although clutch in Kamino and in the war), is the one to suggest a broad support system. Also fun that she brings up the media angle and we saw her leading the media lessons in the anime this week. Good on her for thinking broadly about possible solutions. Minor complaint: Of this whole group, why is the lady hero the only one trying to get Deku more bodies for support? I’m hoping it’s to draw an old guard/next generation contrast and not a “ladies be mothering” thing. The official translation is far superior to the fanscans in this regard, phew.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I will grant that Endy’s detective skills are pretty good. He has a point about OFA not being public (just like he had a point about AFO missing something in his soul). I’m working on a larger post about this, but AFO operates much like the classic Western interpretation of Satan — he’s charismatic, he’s individualistic, he’s able to get people to act out of “free will” like the snake in the garden of Eden, and he views people as pawns to use for his enjoyment. There are also strong Faust parallels with AFO reanimating the dead with Ujiko + missing soul + wagers/contracts (and my understanding is there are a number of similar Japanese works from the same 16th-17th century timeframe.).
So why wouldn’t AFO make OFA public? Because AFO needs to be able to operate from the shadows, like Satan disguised as the snake. If people know he’s evil and eternal, his manipulation won’t be seen as benevolent and he’ll have fewer followers (think Ursula from Disney’s Little Mermaid, another Faust-based story — Ursula has few devotees, and Ariel knows she’s evil). However, Kamino made AFO’s existence, quirk, and “bad guy” status public knowledge, and the war/jailbreak made Shigaraki known too. AFO's cover is blown, and now he has less of an incentive to keep OFA secret. Sure, Deku might die if the OFA secret becomes public, but AFO sent Shiggy to fight Machia and Redestro, so AFO may take his chances and prod angry citizens to go after Deku.
I really can't stand the DFO theory BUT if AFO wanted to use the media to manipulate Deku, he certainly could go this way, with him claiming Deku as his creation. This could be positive (“I can help restore order and create true heroes for you!”) or negative (“See All Might’s heir? He’s actually under my control mwahahaha!”).
Tumblr media
We’ve seen the public and the media try to paint a good guy as a villain before, and our good guy’s noble intentions were defended vigorously in public by his teacher. Paging Bakugo and Aizawa! But seriously, it's interesting that the media is mentioned so heavily at the beginning of the chapter, and the end is citizens saying Deku doesn't look like/act like a hero.
Tumblr media
The hero brain trust is worried about the media, and they’re NOT talking to All Might, the biggest hero media whore [affectionate] of them all? That brings us to Part 2....

I'm in awe of how you're able to hold on to dfo for so long, and I mean it in good way. I wasn't in the fandom for too long (a year?) And dad for one theory was one of the first theories I had encountered that had me fixed strongly on the fandom. I don't know if dfo will happen because the manga had been kinda weird recently (despite the sheer amount of evidence supporting it) but you help me keep on hoping that it could happen!! Thank you!
Thanks for your kind words. 🥰 Honestly I would have stopped believing in dfo long ago if all the evidences werent platantly there and hori still giving us hints. Yeah, the writing of the manga is not very good lately and not gonna lie it kinda kills my enjoyment for it. Its weird because most of my predictions DID become true, but its written im such a weird way I almost wished my predictions had been wrong. Dfo is pretty much the only reason why I still follow this manga and its sad, because I really loved mha before this last arc startet. And because my love for it is not as strong anymore, Im not as active on tumblr anymore. Not because I fear that dfo isnt canon (still 100% sure of it), but because everything else about mha is so.... underwellming and lame currently.
Meanwhile Im rewatching the bleach anime for like the 10ths time and its still so DAMN GOOD! Seriously if anyone else is tired of mha in the moment and hasent watched bleach yet, I really recommend it! You will love the characters and the story! One of the best shonen protagonists ever!

I stand with the DFO theory simply because AFO needs a big dose of karma.
Like imagine being a 200-year-old supervillain with hundreds of extremely powerful quirks, has a son who is OBSESSED with heroes. Like the child writes pages upon pages of heroes' quirks and develops an obsession with your arch nemesis. And let's say Izuku has AFO, but it was blocked BECAUSE of his heroic ideals. Imagine Izuku not only getting OFA and becoming AFO's enemy as a result, but also unlocking his own AFO. And we already know Izuku matches AFO in analytical abilities, quirk analysis, and their silver tongues. This bitch has never been faced with a true equal in all those 200 years of living, no one who was smart enough and strong enough to rival him fully, until he got stupid and CREATED HIM.

It’s because some people enjoy that you can come from nothing and still be strong and then there’s people who are fine with legacy stories. Personally I’m okay with Legacy Stories because in many cases they make sense. What those who hat the DFO theory believe I’ve seen is that they don’t want Izuku to come from something. They act like he already came from nothing—he had no quirk. If All Might never gave him OFA he would’ve never even gotten to this point. I feel like Izuku would go down two different roads. Not quite the fanon depressed Izuku but probably after a long time would’ve became depressed–especially with how much even before he’s shown he’s cared about Bakugou. Bakugou would constantly be in danger and once the news hits the media, Izuku would be stressed. Also consider how he watches as his dream wouldn’t be a reality—he would at least be in a slump for awhile. So if it does turn out Izuku is AFO’s child, it wouldn’t be too ‘a hero comes from another’ or ‘power stays with a powerful family’ because Izuku being born with no quirk already made him come from no where. But regardless, one side is going to be disappointed.
I can’t help but laugh at the My Hero fandom a bit because on one hand, you got people who will riot if AfO isn’t Izuku’s dad and on the other hand, you got people who will riot if AfO is Izuku’s dad and I feel like there’s no middle.

Growing Demand for FSA Loans in 2016 Shows Importance of Credit
Source: USDA
Whether a farmer’s goal is to start up a new operation, expand their farm, or simply maintain their current production, farming is a demanding and capital intensive business. What’s more, this demand is often exacerbated by the high levels of risk and constant changes that are inherent to farming – including fluctuating market demand, unpredictable weather and climatic trends, increasing costs of inputs like seeds and fertilizers, and rising land prices.
In this way, loans remain some of the most important tools farmers can access to start, grow, or maintain their farming business and deal with agricultural, economic and government-based instability along the way. Recognizing the importance of financing for land and operating capital, the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) offers two critical loan programs to meet the credit needs of farmers.
FSA offers both direct and guaranteed loans to farmers. Direct loans are those made and administered directly by USDA. Guaranteed loans provide assurance to private agricultural lenders that USDA will provide up to 95 percent of a loss, if a farmer is unable to pay back their loan. FSA specifically targets farmers unable to obtain credit elsewhere, with a specific focus on the credit needs of small, beginning, minority, women, and veteran farmers.
In this post, the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (NSAC) has compiled a year’s worth of overview and analysis of the FSA loan program in order to better understand demand and usage of federal loan programs in Fiscal Year (FY) 2016. This post is the first of a two part blog series and will be followed by a deeper dive into beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers’ loan usage.
To see the progress that has made since FY 2015, refer to last year’s analysis blog.
FSA Loan Overview for 2016
FSA loans include both operating loans, which go towards farm maintenance costs and a farmer’s living expenses, and farm ownership loans, which help both beginning farmers and farmers seeking to expand their farm acquire land. Within these categories, loans can either be direct or guaranteed (as described above). Additionally, smaller-scale, new and socially disadvantaged farmers are able to access a more streamlined loan application process through the relatively new microloan program.
Since 2015, FSA increased both the number of loans made and the amount allotted for these loans. FSA administered five percent more loans in FY 2016, amounting to a 12 percent increase in total loan amounts – from about $5.7 billion to $6.4 billion. This pattern continues the trend in recent years and reflects increased demand for federal farm financing.
This growing demand for credit aligns with USDA’s Economic Research Service (ERS) findings that show a significant decline in net farm income since 2013. This decline, represented in the chart below, is especially obvious in 2016, in which net farm income dropped by about 11.6 percent and can help explain the growing need for federal loans. Low commodity prices are one explanation for the recent decline in farm income.
  Operating Loans – National Snapshot
Overall, FSA direct operating (DO) loans have consistently represented the largest category of loans in terms of the number of loans made – 60 percent of loans in both FY 2015 and 2016. This is likely due to the nature of farming and seasonal cash flow and high demand for annual farm operating costs. However, these loans only represent 22 percent of the total loan funding that FSA gets out the door, with the majority of loan funding going to larger farm real estate loans.
In 2016, farmers utilized FSA guaranteed operating loans (GO) far less frequently, with only 4,982 loans made in FY 2016 compared to the 23,577 DO loans. However, GO loans were on average much larger than direct loans, due in part to the larger maximum loan amount allowed in statute. The average GO loan in 2016 was roughly $300,000 compared to $57,000 for a direct FSA loan.
While on the whole, FSA lending trends in 2016 mirrored previous annual trends closely, last year did see a notable increase in the demand for operating loans in particular. The demand was so high, that it actually surpassed available funding and USDA ran out of funding for operating loans. In June of 2016, NSAC, along with other organizations, pushed for a modest increase in funding for both DO and GO loans upon learning that they would soon run out. As a response to these efforts and the evident demand from new and established farmers across the country, USDA was able to secure additional funding and was able to make up nearly one third of this deficit in September. A funding bill passed in December gave USDA additional flexibility to meet loan demand through April; beyond April, however, current funded levels will not be sufficient to meet demand. Unless Congress provides additional funding in their final Agriculture Appropriations bill for FY 2017, we will see a repeat of last year’s funding crisis, or perhaps an even worse scenario.
Operating Loans – Regional Disparities
Overall, the regional breakdown of DO loans by state is unsurprising. Most DO loans aligned with the top agricultural states across the Midwest and Great Plains, including Oklahoma, Texas, Nebraska, and Iowa. States with surprisingly low usage include Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.
Farm Ownership Loans – National Snapshot
In terms of real estate financing, FSA direct farm ownership (DFO) loans made up the second largest segment of FSA loans, with 5,645 loans made in FY 2016. However, since farmland purchase values are generally a larger expense than annual operating costs, DFO and guaranteed farm ownership (GFO) loans are likewise larger on average than operating loans. In fact, GFO loans in FY 2016 comprised the single largest category of loan funding – totaling 38 percent of all FSA loan funding, or $2.4 billion. This marks a significant 21 percent increase over FY 2015 levels, which could in part be the result of increased scrutiny and security required by private lenders who are nervous about low commodity prices and future cash flows required to support a long-term mortgage.
Additionally, despite the shortage in operating loans, there was a surplus of ownership loans in FY 2016, particularly among DFO loans, in which $500 million of appropriated funds went unused. With the growing number of beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers across the country, it is hard to imagine there was no use for these excess funds. Furthermore, when one considers that DFO loans averaged about $180,000 per individual loan, in theory, this would mean roughly 2,500 additional farmers could have been supported through the DFO loan program.
There’s a number of potential factors that may explain this lack of perceived demand, including the low loan cap of $300,000 which has not been adjusted since 2002, whereas real estate land prices have increased 40 percent over the same time period. Additionally, with the downturn in the farm economy and sustained low commodity prices, fewer farmers may be willing to take on additional financial debt.
Farm Ownership Loans – Regional Disparities
The map above represents the distribution of DFO loans made across the country in 2016. The largest concentration of DFOs correlate to heavily agricultural states in the North Central and Southern regions, and are being used to a lesser extent elsewhere. The under-utilization of loans is especially notable in the West, which includes many important specialty-crop producing states.
For example, California, which leads the country in total agricultural sales, only made 43 direct ownership loans to farmers across the entire state in all of FY 2016, in comparison to the state’s 81,500 farms (as of 2012). There are likely many factors contributing to this trend, most predominantly the $300,000 cap on real estate loans. Farmland in California is valued at roughly $7,900 per acre, one of the highest in the country. This means the average size farm in California comes with a price tag of about $2.9 million, not including any infrastructure on the farm. Clearly, $300,000 doesn’t go a long way for farmers looking to buy land in California, and other states with high real estate values across the country.
Similar trends can be seen across the Pacific Northwest. In 2016, FSA made fewer than 50 ownership loans in both Washington and Oregon. It’s quite likely that DFOs are not successful here due to the production of high value orchards that command a sales price that exceeds the $300,000 maximum DFO loan amount. This leaves beginning farmers with very few options for financing if they are turned down by a private lender.
Finally, the low usage trends in the Northeast, where most states have below 50 DFOs in FY 2016 (such that FSA made zero DFO loans in Connecticut), can largely be explained by land availability. These are smaller states with strong, yet small farming communities. Because of the pressures of development and urban and suburban sprawl, these small-scale and typically diversified farmers (beginning and new) are often unable to afford or access financing to afford agricultural land.
Summary
In summary, while the FSA loan program has become an increasingly important tool for farmers, especially new and socially disadvantaged farmers, the farming community in many parts of the country have yet to tap into this incredibly important financial resource. In our next post, we will expand upon these issues and dive into the ability of these programs to reach beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers.

The new leaks are just so interesting!!! I kinda like how he did their backstories, it makes sense for All for One to be the way he is... I don't believe he was just born evil, since we've seen that he is capable of some sort of love or care, example being his reaction to his brother's death.
I think the reason he seems so dark, and evil is because that's how you survived back then. I always thought the fall of society was when the two were teenagers, maybe even adults. But the idea that they were born into a society in shambles without parental love or guidance, makes sense why the bastard man was a feral child coveting the feeling of unconditional love, killing the glowing baby because he, from what I can gather, was the only truly accepted one by society while the rest were seen as monsters needing extermination. He had to fend for himself, he had to teach himself to read and speak normally, he never had a parent tell him no. And in a time like that, I'm sure people weren't keen on being kind and gentle towards each other, I believe at best they were ignored because they were children. But no one picked them up or treated them gently out of fear they may possess meta-abilities, it was almost a 'kill or be killed' mentality. He reacts like a normal child in a situation with no guidance at all.... He acts feral because that's how the adults around him have taught him to react. He's still not a good person for a multitude of reasons. But ugh, I am just so curious about how he became the person he is now, from a small feral child to a calculating, manipulative adult. He knows how to twist and turn people to his whims.
The spoilers also show a little bit of his possessiveness, he views things he loves as possessions.... Which isn't shocking.... I've heard a lot of people mention this debunking the DFO theory... First off, how? If you observe the details of the chapter, you can easily deduce that AFO cares for Yoichi. He kicks him, but I really think that's just a result of having no parental figure, if you think about it. Children often hit other children when they feel strong negative emotions, they start off with little to no emotional regulation or intelligence, because they're children. That's what good parents are for, we don't just adopt moral codes on our own. It's our parents and society in general that teaches what's appropriate and inappropriate. And we obviously know that AFO and Yoichi didn't have a parental figure, or at least a stable one (if they were picked up along the way after their mothers' death.) The only thing teaching these children, particularly AFO, how to act is what's going on in society. What the adults around them are doing, and we can obviously tell there's a lot of mistrust, judgement, and violence being exhibited. Baby AFO is bound to catch on and adapt to survive... Our natural instincts are to survive, which explain why baby AFO was sucking his mother's breast, which is very normal, considering its our natural instincts to survive. Some people are saying that he was born evil because of this... No, it's a newborn, a fucking newborn trying to survive. Which during those early ages, that's all we really think of is our pleasure complex and survival instinct. Mother's normally feed their children within the first hour of childbirth, that's what's recommended from the American Academy of Pediatrics, so instinctually it makes sense for the baby to try to find that nutrients on its own if it's not provided.

Also interestingly enough, ONLY All for one's prison number is a 4 digit number... as if their kanji reading is a person's name. But other prisoners in Tartarus doesn't have this peculiar short prison number.
Here are some evidence I found out :
Tumblr media
Her prison number is 6 digits with additional tag "C-46". Then,
Tumblr media
This offender... also has a 6 digit number with additional tag "D-69". ( 😑 Sorry but his additional tag is giving me dirty thoughts, but on the other hand,😐 from his 'additional tag' and his speech bubble we can confirm 100% he might be a serial r*p**t. I can tell it is indeed a fraction of Horikoshi's style of putting details in character design)
So my point is, AFO's prison number is indeed different, not just some random number.
Also.... "Anti-dfo are choosing Grandpa for one over Dad for one" 😆😆😆😆😆. I've already once stated that there are more ways to prove DFO theory other than Star Wars reference. If we try to explain or research most of the panels that is related to AFO, the DFO hints pops up.
It just shows that they can't ignore hints of dad for one theory so they just came up with something just to diss dfo theorists.... pathétique 😒. It's not going to work😋
Its interesting you say that since I've seen a lot of anti-dfo theorist be more open to AFO being Izukus grandfather rather than father. They say they would feel more satisfied with it turning out that way, and consider dfo to be more of the rey is a palpatine twist. Personally, I would prefer dfo since there's more indication of that being true than the grandfather version, plus I think its more interesting.
Wth? Dfo is the "im your father" twist in bnha, because vader is, you know, lukes FATHER not grandfather!
HOW is dfo supposed to be the "palpatine is reys grandfather" twist if he is izukus FATHER?!?! What kind of logic is that?
It doesnt shock me though, that anti dfo people want him to be izukus grandfather instead. Even anti dfo can not debunk or ignore all the hints and paralells between izuku and afo anymore, without looking desperate, so they come up with something that pisses them off less. Granddad for one is just the lesser evil of the two!
Fact is hori hided the name hisashi (the kanjis of the name) INSIDE afos prison number 1541 (also izukus and inkos age at that point of time). When the tartarus guards say "it comes from 1541 again" (or something like that) when afos brainwaves are very active again, they literally say "its hisashi again"! The guards call him HISASHI without the readers noticing it. Would be a weird choice of hori to hide that name inside afos prison number, if he doesnt mean him, but his son we havent even met yet. 🤷🏼‍♀️
