Just some silly thoughts on my guuyyzz. (:

I don't remember if i ever talked about it here- or if i did, I don't remember if I ever talked about it in detail, but I've definitely gone into how Thorn is on an extremely different life path than what he had originally planned for himself.

He used to be in a band and they had a lot of potential and were gaining traction, but circumstances dictated a whole other life for Thorn and he lost everything.

To be specific, he was forced to leave everything and everyone behind and make some very hard decisions. Not that leaving everything you know isn't a hard decision in and of itself.

That being said, sometimes I like to think about Thorn continuing down the path he wanted with his friends and bandmates and actually becoming successful at it but still managing to meet Mr. Flower along the way anyway.

I feel like that'd be a much more boastful and grating kind of Thorn but he'd still be the surprisingly caring type at his core the way I've always imagined him being.

Just a lot more given to vanity and a lot more grating and suspicious to Mr. Flower.

I'm forever obsessed with the idea of Mr. Flower being Thorn's anchor and Thorn being Mr. Flower's guide to being more open and confident. Like they balance each other out. ; v;/

I think Thorn could still woo him, it would just taken even longer than it does in the main au I have for them lmaooo.

BUT ANYWAY, MY YAPPING ASIDE

because of this, i often think about that one tweet(?) where this person is posting about their boyfriend. I wish I saved it somewhere but it basically was like:

First Tweet: "I love having my boyfriend over cause I get to hear him scream in the shower"

Second Tweet: "For clarification he's a metal vocalist in a band! I don't torture my boyfriend in the shower."

And I feel like that would be very Thorn and Mr. Flower.

forty catches the quip about henry &* adds it to the mental tally he's got to be keeping on joe. only an idiot wouldn't hold on to his theory. he simply lets it drop , though ; pretends he had the same sentiment &* said as much. the name makes him still , then quickly relax as he laughs softly. mental tally , indeed.
