AFAB MTF Pride Flag

AFAB: assigned female at birth.

MTF: transitioning from male to female.

This flag represents those who are FTMTF (detrans), SAFAB (self-assigned) female transitioners (AGABpunk), plural systems, circumgender, or intersex/altersex (varsex) people with complex experiences with gender/sex, for example, plus many more experiences I couldn't describe in simple terms. Many times, it could be a subtliden identity (aka 'contradictory labeling' or contrapunk).

Ichiban DFaB Designs

Ichiban Kasuga. Kasuga Ichiban. Best boy.

I ended up with 3 morphs/recolors based on the varying colors the Kai Ken is available in. Each color they come in is a shade of brindle. I’m pretty sure I’m going with the brown, if not the black.

His markings look intimidating, but I assure you, there are 8ish markings/patterns that are consistent while the rest are filler stripes. Most distinctive ones are on his face.

He sort of has a mask around his eyes, but his left eye has a “middle” shade under it. There’s also two stripes almost meeting that favor the left side. Two squarish brows. The sides of his snout transition to a lighter color towards the lip. The chin is also that light color.

Red circles are distinctive Ichiban markings, blue circles are “fill with random stripes.”

so as many people following me probably don’t know because I don’t talk about it a lot, I am a furry. when I was a kid some of my favorite games were ratchet and clank, crash bandicoot, spyro, gex, sly cooper, okami, dust: an elysian tail, pokemon… final fantasy 12. I also never played but love the design of banjo kazooie and starfox. I love night in the woods. I love aggretsuko. I love animal crossing. I love five nights at freddy’s…’s visual design. against all odds I love undertale. my default race in the elder scrolls swaps between khajit and argonian. the only races I ever main in WoW are the tauren worgen and pandaren (AND VULPERA)! king is my tekken main. dark souls’ crow demons... enough said. I love zelda and in its later years it started getting more and more furry with each major installment. I love sonic the hedgehog. twokinds is my favorite webcomic. beastars is probably my favorite anime of the 2020s. and none of it is sexual. I just really love anthropomorphic animal characters!

…okay maybe I have a huge crush on a few characters. rivet. coco. carmelita. fran. krystal. isabelle. roxy. blaze. others I won’t name because you’ll just make fun of me. but a whole lot of it is nonsexual. regardless I’ve always wanted to settle on a particular species for my fursona.

fox. cat. wolf. skunk. rabbit. raccoon. ermine weasel.

but every one of these choices has just been me settling. I looked at a list and thought well I might as well pick one of these because that’s what everyone else does. to be a normal furry I have to really vibe with a certain animal and align with that particular choice wholly. completely. like society tends to do for sexuality. you have to pick 1. no more, no less. so I kind of wandered around between them all not really picking any in particular and figured I’d get around to it eventually but as time went on it just didn’t go anywhere. until today.

so I just randomly realized that my name rhymes with hyena. and then I realized hey wait a minute I fucking love hyenas. so I did some research on the cultural impact of hyenas and… it’s really sad. the whole world hates hyenas. muslims hate hyenas. african tribal faiths hate hyenas. the greeks hate hyenas. jews hate hyenas. damn near every single culture in the region hates them. they’re vampires. they’re werewolves (er. werehyenas?). they’re the ghosts of cannibals (if only there was a single word for a creature that was the evil ghost of a cannibal). they’re the evil mounts that evil witches ride in the night. some real fucked up stuff. and I think that’s really sad, as I LOVE hyenas. they’re one of my favorite animals. the way they’re kinda dogs kinda cats kinda neither, the way they’re shaped like fucked up demented little monsters, the way they’re murdering bastards, the way they laugh. and I’ve heard that they taste very interesting. I’d eat em.

so I decided, them. hyenas. they deserve better and I would be one hot and sexy cute and adorable hyena. fursona selected, I’m a hyena now motherfucker!

and then my partner told me female hyenas have dicks. I was like bro what? and I looked it up. lady hyenas have an appendage that looks (if not functions) like a penis.

and I (dfab, trans, no desire or plans for surgery) thought

hell. yes. bonus points. I’m double over a hyena now.

What causes conversion disorder?Įxperts don’t know exactly why conversion disorder happens. However, it isn’t necessarily a symptom, and it doesn’t happen with every case of conversion disorder. This phenomenon, “la belle indifference” (which is French for “beautiful ignorance”), happens most commonly with conversion disorder. People with conversion disorder often seem like they’re not worried about their symptoms. These all happen because of a disruption in how your brain controls your muscles.

The whole idea with the designs for these anthros (maybe I can call them “soft anthros” or some shit lol) is that they have just enough anthropomorphism to do specific things, like walk upright and wear humanoid clothing. The paws typically have “thumbs” instead of dewclaws so grasping is possible, but things with fewer toes are just more “grip-shaped.” Not 100% sure how I’m gonna handle single-toed ungulates, but it’ll probably be somewhat mitten-like.

I also don’t want to compromise certain aspects of the animal so that they’re still recognizable as whatever species they are. With shark!Yamai, for example, i wanted to make his silhouette as shark-like/hydrodynamic as possible, so I didn’t narrow his head to make a distinct throat/neck.

Though, keeping in mind with certain (American?) classic animation trends, for relevant actions, their paws or flippers or whatever will change shape and slightly break model (or challenge/fudge physics or shapes). For example, Garfield’s feet shape change when he becomes bipedal. (The fat, orange lasagna-loving cat.) Sonic the Hedgehog’s mouth rarely sits in the center of his muzzle, rather cheats to one side or the other.

This was rambling, but I wanted to talk about it. It may become relevant to make this post for future purposes. Plus, I still have a bit of a passion for animation + character design. Maybe one day.

Glossaire des genres et orientations sexuelles à l’usage des rollistes

Bonjour tout le monde ! Vu que c’est le mois des fierté et après des années à lire sur les rpgs “machine est bi, elle aime les hommes et les femmes, et oui ! Elle n’a pas encore fait son choix!” ou encore “Machin est pansexuel, il tombe amoureux d’une personnalité, pas d’un corps” et, me rendant compte que certains termes sont toujours considérés comme assez brumeux par certaines personnes, j’ai décidé de faire un petit glossaire avec l’aide de plusieurs personnes, plusieurs blogs (nb francophone, LGBT+fr, La vie en Queer, Mâle dans ma peau) à l’usage du rolliste. Ou en tout cas, de celleux qui voudraient jouer des personnages d’un genre ou d’une orientation sexuelle définie. Un simple ctrl+f pour rechercher un terme !

Notez cependant que, comme le dit très bien “la vie en queer”: Il est à noter qu’il peut exister plusieurs définitions pour un terme. la définition donnée ici est en général la définition consensus. Vous pouvez tout à fait vous identifier à un terme en lui donnant une définition légèrement différente. (SI VOUS N’ÊTES PAS CONCERNE.E.S veuillez ne pas vous approprier un terme et changer sa définition.)

Notez également que ce glossaire a été majoritairement fait par des personnes blanches (je suis la seule personne racisée du projet)

AFAB (assigned female at birth) : assigné.e femme à la naissance (voir aussi : CAFAB, DFAB, AFAN)

AFAN : Assignée fille/femme à la naissance, version française de AFAB.

AGAN : Assigné garçon à la naissance, version française de AMAB.

AHAN : Assigné homme à la naissance, version française de AMAB.

AMAB (assigned male at birth) : assigné.e homme à la naissance (voir aussi : CAMAB, DMAB, AGAN, AHAN).

Acephobie (acephobia) :  oppression envers les personnes sur le spectre asexuel.

Agenre (agender) : terme auquel peut s’identifier une personne qui n’a pas de genre, qui ressent une absence de genre

Androgyne (androgyne) : un terme auquel peut s’identifier quelqu’un dont le genre présente à la fois des caractéristiques féminines et masculines. A ne pas confondre avec l’expression de genre (apparence) androgyne (androgynous en anglais).

Ace : abréviation d’asexuel-le ; peut être utilisé comme une abréviation pour le spectre asexuel.

Aro : abréviation d’aromantique ; peut être utilisé comme un terme parapluie pour le spectre aromantique.

Aromantique : une personne qui ne ressent pas d’attirance romantique envers d’autres personnes.

Asexuel-le : une personne qui ne ressent pas d’attirance sexuelle envers d’autres personnes

Bigenre (bigender) : un terme auquel peut s’identifier une personne ayant deux genres, en même temps, ou l’un après l’autre de manière fluide (quel qu’ils soient).

Binaire (binary) : adjectif qui qualifie quelque chose qui est construit sur deux entités. Le système de genre homme/femme est binaire. Les genres binaires sont homme et femme car ils font partie de ce système.

Biphobie (biphobia)  : oppression envers les personnes bisexuelles, biromantiques et pan par extension.

Bisexuel-le/biromantique : une personne attiré-e sexuellement/romantiquement par plusieurs genres (ce peut donc être tous les genres et inclure les personnes non-binaires) OU une personne attirée par les personnes du même genre qu’elle et d’autre(s) genre(s).

CAFAB (Coercively assigned female at birth) : assigné.e femme de manière coercitive à la naissance. A priori réservé aux personnes intersexes.

CAMAB (Coercively assigned male at birth) : assigné.e homme de manière coercitive à la naissance. A priori réservé aux personnes intersexes.

Cisgenre (cisgender) ou cis : une personne qui s’identifie au genre qui lui a été attribué à la naissance est cisgenre.

Cisnormatif (cisnormative) : désigne un système social dans lequel il est considéré que norme est d’être cisgenre ; désigne par extension tout comportement ou pensée conditionnés par cette norme.

Cissexiste (cissexist) : le fait de considérer que les personnes cisgenres sont supérieures aux personnes transgenres, ou le fait de considérer que les identités des personnes cisgenres sont plus valides que celles des personnes transgenres, ou le fait de nier l’existence des transidentités. Le cissexisme peut-être conscient ou inconscient (conditionnement des individus par une société cisnormative).

Déconstruction :  se dit d’un processus qui consiste à déconstruire les idées oppressives apprises via la société. En réalité, personne ne peut être à 100% déconstruit-e.

Demi-fille (demigirl) : terme auquel peut s’identifier une personne qui se sent partiellement femme et partiellement un autre genre (quel qu’il soit). Une personne qui s’identifie demi-fille peut-être afab ou amab, cela n’a pas d’importance.

Demi-garçon (demiboy/demiguy) : terme auquel peut s’identifier une personne qui se sent partiellement homme et partiellement un autre genre (quel qu’il soit). Une personne qui s’identifie demi-garçon peut-être afab ou amab, cela n’a pas d’importance. 

Demi-genre (demigender) : s’identifier partiellement à ce genre et partiellement à autre chose (voir aussi demi-fille, demi-garçon). Demisexuel.le: Une personne attirée sexuellement par une autre seulement quand une certaine confiance et un certain degré d’intimité s’est installé. Les personnes demisexuelles ont besoin d’un lien émotionnel fort avec une personne pour être attirées sexuellement par celle-ci. (oubli de ma part, suggestion de @pearlizedwinters )

Deux-esprits (Two-spirit) : un terme parapluie utilisé par certains peuples natifs américains pour désigner une personne ayant un genre non-binaire. Ce terme est culturel et ne doit pas être utilisé par une personne ne faisant pas partie de la dite-culture.

DFAB (designated female at birth) : désigné.e femme à la naissance

Diamorique (diamoric) : terme vaste désignant une relation impliquant au moins une personne non-binaire ou une orientation signifiant que la personne qui éprouve l’attirance est non-binaire.

DMAB (designated male at birth) : désigné.e homme à la naissance

Dyadique (dyadic) : une personne qui rentre dans les standards mâles ou femelles, c’est à dire non-intersexe.
