Nameless Ghouls: Protective Eldritch S/O

Oh, man...something that would scare an eldritch S/O? That must be something majorly dangerous.....

We’ll just say it was another eldritch creature that tried to enter the church ground while the Ghouls were outside. 

Aether is usually the one to be protective of other people or Ghouls, so having someone else be defensive of him...it’s a little strange, and even flattering. But at the same time, he’s still wary of the thing you frightened away. It was a bit like you--something that looked human but wasn’t. He would want to tell the Papas and Cardinal right away that someone strange is lurking around and to raise security. 

Dewdrop still doesn’t trust you. And he won’t admit that he was in a pretty bad spot before you came along, being by himself with a stranger looking to do him harm. But when you come to his rescue, snarling at the stranger to leave before you make them leave, his eyes widen. You don’t see his expression by the time you turn to look at him--he’s got his arms crossed and huffs at you. He didn’t need your help, y’know!!....but...thanks. He guesses.

Mountain wasn’t quite sure what to do when the stranger came to the church grounds. It’s a little comical having a shorter ‘human’ shielding an enormous Ghoul from another ‘human’. But the levels of eldritch energy radiating off the pair of you are off the charts. When the other being finally gives in and leaves, Mountain looks at you, impressed. Slowly, he nods. Well done. 

Rain was hiding behind you the minute you showed up, honestly, stammering that this weird stranger is here and they won’t leave and they won’t stop grinning. He’s painfully aware of his lack of fighting abilities--he knows he won’t last one second against this thing. You win the stare-down, and Rain almost cries with relief. He thanks you profusely for protecting him. 

Cirrus and Cumulus aren’t above throwing down with this other eldritch thing--even though Cirrus is currently hiding behind Cumulus, who is bristling. But then you come out of nowhere and actually tackle the other person and both of them stop, staring as you fight. You win, and send the other being limping away in shame. And all of a sudden both of them are purring, nuzzling up against you. That reminded them of a Ghoul mating fight. 

Swiss was just sitting down to talk to this other being when you came storming in and yelled at them to piss off. Both the Ghoul and eldritch being stare at you with a shrug, and the eldritch thing slinks off in a huff. How rude! Swiss would cock an eyebrow and talk about the importance of being courteous to new friends.
