Mar. 6th, 2023 Devlog: It’s Been A While...
Hello, gamers and game devs!
I’m aware it’s been a really long while since my last devlog, but for those still following me and my work, thank you for your support! XD I wanted to give all of you an update on what I’ve been up to since the last time I wrote one.
Projects:
My “Rise Of The Insects” project is cancelled for now due to many other projects and other work outside of game development that took priority. This includes me writing and self-publishing a novel, getting other poems published, and also working in an internship for the latter half of 2022!
However, I hope to start making something new or participating in other game-related projects later this year, so stay tuned for further news!
Pixelles’ Game Writing Program:
I had the amazing opportunity to participate in Pixelles’ Game Writing program during the past three months! I was one of 200 applicants selected for the program, and I learned so much about the following:
Cinematics (writing cutscenes)
Barks (Brief dialogue you’ll get during gameplay when certain conditions are met)
Character design
Stage design
Item description
I also had the chance to put together a portfolio of sample work through participating in the program, which I hope to share very soon either here or on my portfolio site!
Thank you again for following my progress! I appreciate the support for my work, and I hope to update a bit more frequently from hereon.
