clarence is soooo interesting to me bro i just wanna put him under a microscope and study him for hours i have soooo many questions.

like??? are his parents straight edge too or is it just him?? and if it’s just him what MADE be like “nahh.” and choose to become straight edge??

why doesn’t he have claws like kazu?? i get that they’re different types of vampires but what even IS a nosferatu??? google said it’s just another word for vampire 😭 do imps outrank nosferatu or vise versa??

he likes cooking things that can be enjoyed by all devils INCLUDING nosferatus and in any art we see of everyone eating, he’s usually just drinking a blood bag so does that mean he literally can’t eat/digest certain foods unless they’re made with his devil type in mind?? is bro not hungry??

bc we often we kazu eating loads of different things but once again they’re different devil types so ig i can’t keep comparing them i just idk RAH

it seems clarence’s biggest issue is having to take the blood straight from the source (hence why he’s always drinking from bags) and ik that both nosferatu blood and mandragora fruits are life forces but i wonder if clarence would’ve gotten the same effect from drinking yahgie’s blood since he’s not either of those devil types??

i think i recall yahgie saying some of his own blood was mixed into the ramen as well but it was the nosferatu/mandragora mix that made clarence go into blood rapture, yahgie’s blood likely just being an added strength bonus. i recall clarence mentioning that he's weaker than pandy bc of the type of blood he drinks, but when they went on the field trip he wasn't put in the group with weak devils like nemo and kazu.

and from the action panels of clarence vs kaiko, he seems to understand how to use these power ups. this plus the panel where he says “no one should have this power.” and talks about how it disgusts him, makes me guess that this isn’t the first time he’s gone into rapture.

i just wonder what he’s seen or heard or even DONE himself that made him so against utilizing his powers?? and if i’m remembering correctly, in the flashbacks/arts we’ve seen of baby clarence he didn’t have the straight edge tattoo and neither did his parents, one of which who can FLY (his mama), so i’m assuming that this was a recent decision he made when he was older??

also if he drank fresh devil blood would he be able to fly on the regular like his mom?? and do non-straight edge nosferatu vamps just go around biting folks for fresh food?? like I'D HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THAT TOO PROBABLY

7 -  your preferred writing fonts

GASP, love this question because I love fonts oh my goodness o(≧▽≦)o. And curb stomping writing block by changing fonts on a whim, my love. Anyways, I completely adore Merriweather and Georgia! 99% of all my fics are written in these beautiful, incredible fonts. Mwah. Love ‘em. But occasionally I’ll go for Lucida Sans, or Libre Baskerville or Domine!!! Some rare fics are font specific in my brain, like I can’t write it anything but this specific font. Don’t know why.

19 - the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic

Aw, I wish I had a classic writer answer like stages of decomposition, or the components of obscure laws, but my snippets of research are few and far between, since if it feels too much like work, I’m not doing it. But to answer, probably older British-y words for “whore”! I went with slag, by the way. 

24 - how do you recharge when you’re not feeling creative?

Read! :) one of the reasons I write so much is because I’m such a big reader! I always have been, honestly. I’m always trying to find the next book to read, through Meticulously combing through horror books recommendations (trying to determine whether or not I like the style to finally buy), or devouring fanfics at a concerning pace, or INHALING manwha’s. I read so many comics. Manga, manwha, mostly via shonen/action genre but I dip into romance on rare whim. Other than that, I’m slowly trying to play video games to expand my hobbies and allow a better cool off for my brain when I get writing fatigue. I draw as well, but reading and drawing are my mains!

Just finished Fool Night vol 7 (chap 63) and clutching my head. Mayhaps I shall never be the same. Oh Mukuru Izumi the villain that you are… "What’s back teryas? Veer usses?" "What’s oxygen? Fool Night, the manga that’ll make me cry over trees… Like so far I’ve only cried once and it was during the first umm trees field scene right, because it was simply too fucking real yeah that’d happen yeah, but my god. They’re not just trees they’re lives and they’re not just lives they’re humans and more but does it matter and what are souls???? What are feelings????? What is communication?????? "Oh sure I’ll bring you to Shiika." then that. evil.

…….. And also today I started NegaPosi Angler!!! Great and comfy so far very looking forward to watching it every week. For anyone who didn’t know yet I have a weird ultra fixation on fishing in media in general, Tsuritama and River King are two of my fave things, sooo this is perfect for me lol, came around just at the right time too. Big recommend. Surprisingly topical since both NegaPosi and Fool Night deal with poverty hm. It’s csm Denji meets FN Toshiro except this guy fixes his life through fishing. Bless.
