One Piece Chapter 1061 Spoilers

Okay, these things are coming out when I'm going to bed nowadays, but we open up with my favourite girl flittering in the rear (or one of my favourite girls)

Big Mom possibly isn't going home if she's well and truly disposed of, but the group heading back home, I guess, will be facing a lot, but I think from a current and longtime storyline pov, what is more important is that scientific Germa has Caesar Clown, and this is going to be important for this arc. Where's Queen? (desiccated, I know).

Luckily for Jewllery Bonney (I'm gonna do the UK spelling out of tags, sorry, guys, it's just easier for me!), Luffy got thrown off the ship, and luckily for the Straw Hats, Luffy and Chopper both got thrown off the ship, and met up with Bonney. But

A monster with what I thought said UNK on the side, but I think it's VNK Punk (with the P missing), and we all know who that is and more about it later, but was just thinking about Kid's metal powers and that

Fishman Jinbe is here. So lucky for the crew, Luffy and Chopper went flying and met up with Bonney and Jinbei dived into the ocean after them and Franky took the helm. Kinda? Ahh...

I'll include the whole panel, cos' Franky's tools are cool, but metal can attract things made of metal, huh. Franky gets them out of the way, but I wonder if the propellor as well as the boat provides a target or homing device.

So Jinbe escapes, and the Thousand Sunny capsizes, and our mechanical monster spies a meal. But...

Looney tunes prevails, but aside from that, when I first read this, I thought this was Franky (Oda's intention, I'm sure), but I think (after having read the whole chapter) the upper top left panels indicate that these two know each other—master to errant pupil.

So, who's on board? Zoro, Usopp, Brook (devil fruit user), Usopp, Sanji, Robin (devil fruit user) and Franky. More eye-candy Zoro rescuing Brook. I figure that's Sanji (or is it Franky?) rescuing Robin (and Nami? but she can swim), and Usopp looks like he's knocked out. Or is that Sanji on the right? Please leave comments in the replies! Nami I think, given that she's wearing something light covered a few pages earlier.

Also love that the severity of the explosion and the fire is reflected in Sunny's face.

Meantime, the Punk Hazard kids make a comeback along with Tashigi (so hopefully Smoker's hanging around somewhere), and their sizes are apparently decreasing to normal sizes, so we know that Vegapunk can do good, even if their science helped bring about this abomination.

But it seems as if G-14 is as scrappy as G-5, and even the Sword members seem to be the same, as Helmeppo and his colleague (Hibari) beg for members of Sword and the marines to help Koby (who was taken by Blackbeard). So is G-14 also housing Sword? And it seems they're taking care of the kids rather than them being at Egghead.

Where is Drake? So many lose ends potentially getting tied up (but not quickly, knowing Oda).

There was a theory that if Luffy doesn't give you a nickname/remember your name, you won't necessarily be around for the long haul (I'm not sure about that, but...)

Ahh. I think that Law was lucky that his nickname also connects with the Japanese word for Tiger. He got the best one, I think! Also, fan service from the male gaze, I think, but not as overt as Oda can get. We'll see what Toei ends up doing with it. Love Chopper shaking himself out, and Bonney's Bogey's question is probably the same one that Luffy has about Buggy.

Morgans' haste to publish this will work in Luffy's favour, I think. Chopper being cute! And Bonney about to go through the Law and Kid treatment.

Gonna include the whole page (above), cos Bogey's got business with Vegapunk (and Luffy thinks he might've heard the name before). More importantly, Luffy and Bonney are gonna cause havoc in the marine mess, I think, scavenging for and hoovering up food (if Egghead has one).

Chopper might be able to graze on grass (not that he ever has), or maybe there's a Cotton Candy supply somewhere. The kids from Punk Hazard are nearby too, so they'll be devoted to Chopper.

And what is Bonney's business. Vengeance for Kuma? And another captain who went it solo.

So being rescued by a gigantic robot is orgasmic for some (Franky, Usopp, Caribou?!? (who is now free. HMMM). For Franky it's like coming home to mother, right?

Robin (and Zoro) seem more wary. And I'm not sure if Brook is bedazzled. he usually is. The character stepping out speaks in a vernacular that is dated. I wonder if Grandpa Chopper form will end up conversing with them (and Brook). Anyway!

The Straw Hats thought they were saved but this woman (or, I wonder if we've got someone so modified and timeless they're very easily able to be the embodiment of gender-fluid) is the mediocre (evil) genius of the government

Both Japan and Germany in WW2 conducted horrific scientific experiments on living subjects, and the U.S. went on to use a lot of the information and saved a lot of the scientists in the case of the Japanese (google Unit 731), so I wonder what further dark undertones Oda is gonna develop with this. Can't wait.
