Today I dropped off two pieces of work at the framers. One is for the Dark Art Gallery show in October (which I will show at a later date), and the other is a personal piece I was working on earlier this year. I found the perfect mat board and frame to make this ink illustration pop. This is one of my favorite because in linear, when framed will be right around 36 inches, plus or minus one or two, making it the longest I have ever made. I never did share the finished work on this project. In the beginning, I wanted to create an American flag but not like any version I had seen or any other. I wanted it to be some form of industrial wall art, so I scavenged a bunch of old computer parts and some wood, and here is the final product.
