Dreams

I didn't have nearly as many interesting dreams as I did last night but I do remember a few

A very short one was that I was teaching Canadian history instead of American and I was thinking what am I doing up here? I don't know any of this!

I dreamed about being on a journey with a bunch of people. It started out in a gigantic really old Chevy Blazer that had like six rows of bench seats with a certain type of seat cover pattern on all of them. Looking down and realizing I did not have shoes, and there were no floorboards so if you let your feet dangle too far down they were going to drag on the asphalt. The mother of one of the girls that I was with gave me this pair of plastic jelly Mary Jane style shoes but they were obviously fot a child. I thought there was no way they were going to fit me but when I put them on my feet they fit perfectly. In one part of the dream we were going out to meet or to see a concert for Deuce. But then we were just traveling from state to state.

Then I had a very traumatic dream about the mother of my best friend Rose dying. Rose has been on my mind along with my two other best friends because I finally had the money to buy them each a copy of My Best Friend's Exorcism by Grady Hendricks.

In the dream I was working at store filled with really old products. I was part of stock team and we were rounding up all this stuff and putting them back where they were supposed to go in the stock room. But everything was really old and the boxes were old and Dusty and some products were out of their boxes and we had to find the boxes for them. The team consisted of a few people I worked with in my life, my friend rose, her mom, and a couple of guys who seemed very familiar but I don't know who they were.

But in the dream it was understood that when we finished up what we had to do Rose's mom was going to die. And towards the end I went up to her and I said my goodbyes. And I was crying and thanking her and telling her how much she can bless my life and how I would never forget all the things she had done for me. Everyone had decided that they were going to throw one last party for her before she died but I was so upset I did not want to go and I just turned and left. I woke up with the need to call Rose and tell her about that dream.

The last dream I had was playing around with the gigantic view Sonic board that we all got for our classrooms and did training on Friday. I was using it to edit someone's Wikipedia page. It was a page of an actor from the 1950s and there was a seed in some movie about World War II where in the movie he commits suicide. And I was trying to edit a gif of him shooting himself in the head into the wiki page.. Jim Carrey popped up to help me edit the page and told me that actor had been in a movie that had won a Nobel prize. He even showed me footage from the movie that had Aubrey Hepburn in it. I was so mad because I did not know about it.

Ty and Deuce gave each other measuring looks as Deuce bent and pulled the bedroll out from under the woodpile. He held it up and waved it. “See? Good as new,” he claimed. 

“You’re gonna wake up with a snake in your jeans,” Ty growled softly. 

“Too cold for snakes,” Deuce reminded. 

“Don’t start with the snakes again,” Zane said plaintively, getting a chuckle out of Earl. 

“Chipmunk then,” Ty decided. 

 “You’re afraid of chipmunks,” Deuce told him with a laugh. 

“Yeah, ’cause they’re… twitchy!” Ty explained with a little gesture of his hands. 

Deuce laughed harder and waved him off.

Deuce Grady on the other hand? Emma Grady? Kelly Abbott? Michelle Clancy? Those would, and they would say it to his face.

These were actually both prompts people had sent me forever ago and I started them both, I swear, I just...well...you know.

Zero Fs given is basically in the hallway of Grady and everyone’s facing off (the cops vs. Team family) and Beth is just like, “nope. not waitng for this to go down,” and just marches over to Daryl, completely ignoring everyone else, and then all the people at Grady are like, “oh shit, she’s with HIM? no wonder she took out Gorman.” and Dawn doesn’t even try to stop any of it from happening and...yeah. deuces.

Aaron finds Beth is when they just get to ASZ and Aaron has recruited Daryl to help find people to “bring into the fold,” but he’s still trying to cope with losing Beth (mainly due to Aaron being all, “you’re a good person, and you can find the good in people,”) so he stays put, at least for the time being. Anyway, Maggie sees him being all kinds of sad and tries to talk to him about it and he snaps at her and kinda lets her have it for giving up on Beth so easily and Aaron comes back and...I think you can figure out the rest.

Now, will I ever get a chance to finish them? We’ll see...
