If you had to pick a fairy tale character to have as a parent EAH style who would you pick?
Oh, that's hard. It's didferent if I'm a royal or rebel in this situation. Probably some sort of fairygodmother, or similar magical guide/gaurdian for royal. I don't think I'd mind that sort of destiny. For rebel, definetly that one story where the boy is helping a girl run away from... Something. (I forget if it was her mom or a witch) and he's like, "Oh, she's coming. You turn into a flower, and I'll turn into a lake, and she'll pass us by" and " You turn into a pulpit, I'll turn into a priest, and give a sermon to distract her". The powers seem cool, but the story would suck to be in. I probably should read it again, lol. It was in Grimms

The Story of
MERGO
Tumblr media
There’s Something Wrong with that Guardian
Mergo
Summary
Mergo, a Brilliant Hunter, born near the end of The Golden Age, who was the first to create the Golden Gun Skill called Brightest Star Gaze, suffered with severe mental problems, and became a dangerous threat to fellow risen. Despite her suffering with schizophrenia, her skills were prodigious and unmatched to any hunter ever existed and was well respected for it.
At one point in time, before the Great Ahamkara Hunt, Mergo was abducted and raped by Volmâr’s Hive Knights on her strange departure to the Moon. Mergo traveled to Venus to bargain with the Ahamkara in helping her get rid of these hellish voices and memories of her being raped, but it only worsened her schizophrenia. Mergo murdered her own fire-team members, attempted to kill two warlocks, and Ikora Ray before her raid mission, almost killed herself in the dreadnaught, severely injured Andal Brask, and plotted to assassinate the vanguard. She believes Volmâr is working with the vanguard, and using their disciples to execute her for “illegally refusing to breed worms.”
Eris enchanted her Touch of Malice with a speciality bedded to retain her sanity, by keeping the voices contained in the weapon itself.
Mergo still remains in the tower, but locked beneath the vanguard office in a holding cell. As she’s too dangerous to be around other guardians. Even though Mergo’s lost her sanity, she still keeps her skill, nimbleness, and raw talent.
Unless her madness throws her off balance, she’s the sharpest, most precise lethal Golden Gun hunter to ever exist.
The First Curse, A
Perfect Shot
Mergo’s most finest weaponry was The First Curse, to whom the ‘Brightest Star Gaze’ title belonged to. Although many guardians disliked the gun, Mergo loved the Gun for the power it can unleash. Many Hunters preferred other weapons, for The First Curse felt underwhelming to use even with its most powerful perk. The requirements were difficult, and the Gun itself was unfathomable to understand how to use it correctly/precisely. For Mergo, a naturally gifted marksman, the quest came easy to her and managed to finish the quest the quickest. Relieved by the sight of the white&chrome lining of the palette, 6-inch barrel, and most importantly, the weight, her desperate hours of holding the Impercation felt like an accomplished chore. Despite her bare witnessing the guns beauty and majesty, she did not see this weapon as beautiful. To her, The First Curse was misunderstood, and only needed guidance in becoming a perfect form of itself. It’s shot is precise and sharp, but with every little push of the trigger requires a faultless point.
“The gun can speak endlessly, when given the moment.” — Mergo.
Mergo then chose The First Curse as her own golden gun. Within time, and intense amounts of training, Mergo showed sheer perfection with The First Curse so much, that her golden gun amplified a Blueish Sharp Flame Streak, instead of its regular orange flame streak. The flames on her Golden Gun burnt blue flames and so did her abilities. A much stronger/hotter version to original Golden Gun, it can pierce right through monumental objects and barricades, such as a Titan, Hydra or Hive Knight’s Barrier. The bullet traveling speed is that of the speed of lightning, it can even devastate enemies standing a few feet towards the bullet trail, making her skill all the more rewarding. Mergo has excelled in her mastery in precision, and became the greatest lethal golden gun hunter to ever exist
Deepest Darkest Secret
Prior to the Taken King, Mergo always showed defects in her psychology. Mergo believed her nightmares were beholding amongst reality. Moments before her departure to the Dreadnaught, her warlock acquaintance, Raelag found her in an oscillate state, mummering about “Babies…” and “Concubines”…found speechless, he went to Ikora Ray about a concern with his fireteam member, having fits and rocking beside a corner in her apartment. Ikora Ray took Mergo into her private headquarters to the retrieve information personally. Mergo wouldn’t stop calling Ikora “Volmâr”, Ikora even needed to render her unconscious Mergo in order to make matters less chaotic. Upon awaking, Ikora asked again what Mergo was talking about. Finally, Mergo spoke, but in short, she was too afraid to explain in detail of Hive kidnapping her and temporarily slaving her as a worm donor. “Worm Donor?” Ikora question with confusion. “Apart of me was taken, and kept galaxies away…my light, my innocence. And they could be using it for destruction.”
“You need to be honest with me Mergo, are guardians being used as worm donors, and were you a victim? How exactly did they, “do” this to you?”
“……I knew you were one of them Ikora,”
“I beg your pardon?”
“You look just like her, you must be a clone, I can see her! Volmâr! She’s just......fidgeting and twitching, .....GET THIS DISGUSTING CREATURE OUT OF MY SIGHT!”
Ikora can’t comprehend what’s happening, but Mergo attacks her out of blind rage. Mergo was sent into an isolation chamber in a well put straight jacket, sealed with a soros brand monument, where she will calm down before her departure. Ikora has kept the information of Gaurdians, even male guardians being used as worm donors to the Hive. She believes Hive are raping guardians into impregnation. These feats were practice for as long as guardians fought against them. Of course it’s too explicit to nationally syndicate, so it was only kept privately in the vanguard. Ikora, and the vanguard believed Oryx is the root of the problem. Stopping him could reduce trafficking amongst the guardians and hive in this solar system. She took note that hive are possibly taking our light through insemination, by birthing Light Worms, and Mergo was possibly not the first victim. A possible new darkness to awaken in the light.
“Why would she hide something like this? Has this been kept in her mind ever since she sought victory over Crota’s End?” Ikora Ray.
“That could explain why she’s so damn good with her golden gun. I mean…… It burns blue. She must’ve been using this secret to express it in her skills. She may have grown numb to it quickly, and encouraged herself to be this.. cold and calculating monster in the field. I mean her talents are insane!” Cayde-6
“....We’ll have the fireteam aboard the ship, you and Aeros can aid them during their adventure.”
“Are you sure we should let her go...? Isn’t she a little....”
“....”
“C’mon ....do I have to say it?”
*rolls eyes* “but it’s only because I believe it could help replenish her. She’s a strong asset, gifted, talented guardian..”
“...and beautiful, very gorgeous.”
Living Nightmare, The Pitfall
Midnight before the raid
There could be strange whispers coming from Mergo’s Chamber, calling out and chanting vibrantly as the lights flickered throughout the darkened corridor. Mergo is seen mummering again about worm impregnation. Her eyes looked exhausted, and darkened from sleep deprivation. She’s mentally defeated and in need of redemption.
Today is the day she prepares her departure to the dreadnaught in defeating Oryx. An hour into the dawn, Mergo finally gains composure of reality again. Impatiently, she breaks free from the jacket herself, and actually departures to the dreadnaught alone without her fireteam unplanned. Unnervingly, something is summoning Mergo to the dreadnaught subconsciously. As she flows through the Milky Way, The Hellishlike whispers begin to lurk back into her presence, and continue to haunt her as she’s headed beyond Saturns rings. In contrast to everyone else who went through the dreadnaught in the Court of Oryx, Mergo was actually brought in deserted room behind Golgoroth, with a three gorgeous looking chests coded in Hive Language. They appeared to be the same language used in Volmâr’s chamber. Hit with sudden dejavu, she desperately proceeds to place them the way she remembered how they were in order.
“Birth” “Reinvigoration” “Malice”.
Mergo only managed to open one of them ( Reinvigoration ) that actually contained a fragment of Touch of Malice. The other chest ( Malice ) begins to crack itself open, “here lies a clandestine rendezvous, an invitation to the throne room, where the daughters of Oryx reside.” Upon meeting the doors from the maze, Mergo sees a disturbing image; herself as a hive worm with hive puss fuming from its pores, squealing like a newborn creature. Mergo was frozen with shock. Without blinking, she killed it, with no hesitation. However, upon killing it, her bullet seemed to have hit a warlock, not a hybrid worm. It was Raelag, whom was required by Ikora to find her. Mergo breaks down in tears upon what she’s done, kicking her legs frantically, shooting her gun on the ground, having a full blown break down.
“I’m a monster, they’ve just been trying to tell me... I deserved to be raped, I deserved to be labeled a birthed of evil! Angel! Angel…don’t revive me... please.”
Her ghost’s name is Angel. He tries mending the situation, helping her keep her mind under control, but it only coupled to more tears. Mergo then attempts suicide with her first curse, only for the TOM Fragment to sing and churn with green energy. It was excited to hear a guardian suffer so abruptly. As Mergo looked up from the ground, she heard trembling beneath her. Raelag’s body was fidgeting on his stomach. She then flipped him over only to reveal that his helmet was gone, but his entire face was also gone. She screeched so loudly it echoed a huge shockwave in the dark chamber, then started beating Raelag frantically for him to stop seizing. As her Anxiety increased, Mergo panicked even more, then scurried quickly from the body, following a dark telepathic light that appeared before her.
Climatically, upon reaching the end of the darkness, she finally approaches the daughters floating symmetrically on both sides of the throne room, praying to their gods or god Oryx. Without the help of her fireteam, Mergo nearly died in the sequence just before the sister teleports her back into the throne room, where she almost died in the process of carrying the orb to completion. But successfully, she sufficed the battle and destroyed the last sister with her Blue Golden Gun, snuffing anything left of her.
The final battle with Oryx wasn’t like the origin raid, but Oryx actually impersonating Mergo as a doppelgänger, by using his Taken powers to forge a body of hers. Disturbingly, he manifested the Volmâr Hive Knights that raped her in the Hellmouth, and had her fight an armory of them while he regenerated his power. Mirrored by the same load out, it was unfeeling if Oryx mirrored the same skills as Mergo’s, since his was Taken Formed. Mergo fought with bloody fury, and strangled herself (Oryx) until he disintegrated.
Unfortunately, Mergo has actually won the battle, but what makes it bittersweet is, she now has to live the rest of her life with crippling mental issues. Eris is working to try and reanimate the Touch of Malice in specialty for Mergo’s on going nightmares. She will forge an artifact that glows a midnight-tinge color in the green crater surrounded by rotating rings. Eris believes this will be a specialty bedded for her Schizophrenia and PTSD, in keeping them only “alive” beyond the TOM. Oryx has received the last laugh on Mergo’s end, and Mergo is stained by the hives destructed nature alike Dredgon and Eris. Her dignity and perfection are now unbalanced, however, Ikora hopes the TOM will at least help keep her mind stable.

Another Twitter commission I did about a year ago.
Still one of my favorites because it has some sentimental value. I made it for a fellow Destiny fan and her husband. She wanted me to draw her Gaurdian and her husband's.
It was just a fun peice to work on and the story of how video games brought them together was just so cute.

Have you ever played destiny? Because a Gaurdian would make a wonderful addition to your scoundrels. Personally I'm partial to a hunter but they all would be interesting! Btw it is a very good story so far!
I never have played Destiny before.  While I’m am currently struggling to fit nine different (and very extensive) fictional universes into one story, once all the characters and universes are established, I wouldn’t be adverse to more time shenanigans brining in a tenth.  And, thank you very much for your question and compliment.  I really appreciate any sort of feedback.

“After witnessing so many battles, you begin to wonder if one day you’ll be the only one left standing.” Bea to Terrus Rahn on her many experiences with combat.
For destcember day 12: Last Man Standing A ramble about the characters and other things under the read more. Fair warning, it’s nigh on incoherent.
Bea is a possible addition to my lotr/destiny crossover, after being resurrected towards the beginning of the dark ages, she ended up going through a Vex gate that spit her out back in time and in another universe. She’s basically the middle earth equivalent of a cryptid at this point, being as she’s a guardian in a world where nothing like her has ever existed. Idk im still figuring out her story n stuff, so all this might become obsolete the next time I post something for that. Terrus Rahn ends up activating the portal Red and Talia went through long before they were ever resurrected, he jumped in after his boyfriend friend Syl who had entered it in an attempt to escape the hive the two of them had accidentally woken up while exploring. He ends up getting dragged into a rather unexpected journey by a meddlesome old wizard who met him and thought, ‘hey maybe if i set this extremely dangerous immortal warrior on that terrifying dragon, ill be able to kill two birds with one stone and gain a powerful ally while handling a potential threat, im a genius!’ And yeah that’s how two guardians ended up slaying Smaug. Im marveling how out of hand this gotdang crossover has gotten, seriously ive added like three more gaurdians to this au and am considering adding a fourth. this niche crossover has consumed me it seems.

Destiny players are so freakin’ wholesome.
So at the request (more like 3 weeks of demanding) of my friend, I got the new free version of Destiny 2. A bit of background about me- I never had video games growing up, couldn’t afford them and my parents thought they melted your brain, all that good stuff. I recently got a hand-me-down Xbox 1 from a friend, and the games I have are story driven, almost no combat or fast moving games, and then a button masher that takes no skill. So I have almost no experience playing games, other than this friend who has been slowly teaching me the basics (like how to aim and walk at the same time) on their system. So I get Destiny 2, after watching 4+ hours of lore to catch up with story, and jump in. It takes me about an hour and a half to complete the opening mission, as I try to figure out the controls, and then I’m off to the tower and the rest of the game. After getting lost for almost 2 hours in the tower, I figure out how to travel to earth and get started on a quest called “Discover the EDZ,” where I have to run around and do a public event and do bounties and simple stuff like that. I’m kinda just bouncing around, watching groups of experienced guardians take down enemies like it’s nothing, while I try and figure out how to use my super (that was an embarrassing google search.) Eventually I see this one gaurdian who’s by himself fighting a bunch of big Fallen bois. He gets killed, and I run out from my hiding spot behind a building and revive him, then run tf out of there to safety. Well about 5 minutes later, I’m struggling to take out the small Fallen on my own, and the same guy comes up, sees that I’m struggling I guess, and starts fighting alongside me. After they’re all dead he waves at me (que another frantic google on how to emote) and starts following me around. He stays with me for almost an hour, running around and helping me, even though I couldn’t even talk to him. I guess he saw that I was just a kindergaurdian and decided to help me out. It legitimately made me so happy that someone was being nice, and made me really enjoy myself while I figured out how to get my feet under me in the game. Gaudians are wholesome and sweet, and I wish I had thought to look at his name so I could thank him here. Whoever you are, you legitimately made my whole day by running around with me, and I really can’t wait to keep playing and learning the game.
Tdlr; Experienced gaurdian helped me, a brand new kindergaurdian, by running around for almost an hour when he saw I was struggling to kill simple enemies, made my whole day and made me want to keep playing with this wholesome community.

Reading your headcanons (because of how flesh out they are) is making me fall in love with OUAT all over again (о´∀`о) like the kingdom names the the nod to Ray and Evangeline?? ❤️❤️ i was wondering, what do you think would have happened had Alice’s destiny as The Guardian not been absolved? Like do you think she could have been more powerful than Rumple? Say… powerful enough to being Cecelia back? 👀
Thank you so much! I love the Magical Forest and the characters from that realm that we were introduced to. I love world building and fleshing out these characters. I really enjoy creating their stories and I'm glad there's at least one person out there who enjoys reading them. :P
As for Alice's destiny as The Gaurdian . . . I'll admit I've never really given it much thought. If I remember right, Alice was destined to take Rumple's darkness and use it for good. But Rumple didn't let her because the act would've made her immortal and immortality is a burden. In theory I'd say that Alice would be more powerful than Rumple. Powerful enough to bring back Cecelia? Probably. And it's definitely something Alice would've been tempted to do. The Gaurdian is meant to be pure of heart; incorruptible and willing to sacrifice. Would raising the dead fall under that character?

Did I have this idea late at night but it's not good enough to write a story so I'm doing my first Bullet Point Headcanons? Yes, yes I did.
OPTIONALLY MUTE VIRGIL AS LINK FROM LEGEND OF ZELDA BREATH OF THE WILD
As a young boy he was talkative and happy, made friends with everyone he met, after beating them in a spar
He found the sword that seals the darkness at 10, and pulled it out of the rock not knowing what it was to defend himself from a group of bokoblins
He regrets finding it
After this he was told over and over about this prophecy and how he was supposed to defeat the evil, he got more and more anxious, his only confidence coming from wielding a sword
By the age of 14 he barely talked, only when he had to, and even then if they person knew sign language that was his preferred way of conversing
Even though he would rather not converse at all
Logan is the prince who wishes to be a scholar, but can't because he holds the power to seal the darkness
He can't harness the power
The longer he tries the more frustrating it gets
He wishes he was born a Sheikah then he could follow his dream of being a scholar without being scolded, maybe even praised
But he tries not to show it, though whenever he sees Virgil, who's fulfilled half his destiny by the age of ten, he can't help at snap at him
That only gets worse when he turns 16
The gift his father gave him was a royal guard, that was Virgil
Luckily, after Virgil saved him from the Yiga clan on the way to Gerudo Town, he realized that maybe he wasn't that bad
Though he didn't understand why Virgil only talked when he needed to
He didn't ask though, only learned sign language so he could understand the unneeded words Virgil wanted to say
On Logan's 17th birthday, after a failed attempt of awakening the power that was inside him at the spring of wisdom, the calamity awoken
Everything went wrong
All champions fell, the last standing were the two of them
But Virgil was weak, shaking and stumbling with every step, though still protecting Logan with the little bit of life he had in him
Then the guardian came, aiming at Logan
But Virgil got in front of him, shakily holding his sword up, hoping he could maybe parry the shot or at least save Logan
Virgil squinted his eyes shut as he heard the beeping, but then he felt an arm on his chest, then his back on the ground
He pried open his eyes to see a bright light, with Logan holding his hand up, the triforce appearing there
Before he knew it, the Gaurdian laid limp on the ground
And Logan was by his side
But he couldn't keep his eyes open
Though suddenly he couldn't remember anything
He felt his name being called, Virgil, that was his name
It was telling him to wake up
So he did
You all know this bit
Let's get to our two other boys who are in this 100 years later bit so they're not dead
We have
Roman of the Rito!
He a teen Rito, old enough to fly high!
But he can't in Rito Village
While also being too young to travel to where he can fly high
He spends most days at the flight range
Shooting arrow after arrow
And sometimes throwing swords
From dawn to dusk
Until him and a friend try to stop Vah Medoh themselves
It doesn't work out
His friend almost lost their wing and Roman is grounded
For life
Virgil will have to sneak around with Roman at night since he's the only Rito willing to even try to fly high to shoot Vah Medoh's cannons
And on the other side of Hyrule, there is Zora Prince Patton
He's charismatic and bubbly
But all the rain Vah Ruta is really putting a damper on his mood
He knows how to stop it!
But he can't handle the shock arrows needed
So he's gotten all the Zora who don't hate Hylian's together to try and find one to help them
Though no Hylian has even come close to Lanaryu ever since the non stop storms started
So he's feeling stuck
But he won't give up!
It's also giving him an excuse to avoid all the Zora girls who find him attractive
When he finally finds a Hylian, Virgil, he's so excited!
He tells him all about Zora history and himself
And when Virgil is given the Zora armor the Zora princess made for him a hundred years ago, he seems a tad uncomfortable
When they're alone Patton asks why
And Virgil just signs 'I'm gay'
Luckily Patton understood this since he did know Virgil when he was a small Zora, he learned sign language from his big sister
So he just gasps
He says 'oh my god me too'
That was a nice bonding moment for them
That's all I have
Add on please

Destiny 2: Forsaken Spoiler Review/ Summary
This review is coming late into the game as I honestly needed more time to even fully appreciate it. Even now I haven’t yet touched the raid but I know bungie has honestly delivered something special with the Forsaken expansion. There will be minor and major spoilers below. Let’s dive into the Deep.
Forsaken starts off with Cayde and the Gaurdian being called to assist Petra Venj (the Queens Wrath of the Reef Awoken) with a prison break inside the Reef’s galactic Prison of the Elders. As you battle through and assist the Hunter Vanguard and Petra with bringing security back online it becomes clear that something more is at stake. The Prince of the Awoken Uldren Sov has broken free, having been imprisoned after being Taken (manipulated by the antagonist of Destiny: The Darkness) alongside with his Skorn Barons, a group of undead Fallen raised by Dark Ether (literally Ether tainted by Darkness). After breaking out the Barons and Uldren kill Cayde-6 and his ghost and walk off into the darkness of the space to continue their nefarious plot. And so begins the revenge quest of The Gaurdian. Lured in yet?
You then meet a lovely Unalaigned Fallen Baron called Spider who assists in your vengeance quest along the Tangled Shore, a new patrol area of the Awoken Reef turned into the Wild West of our Solar System. Tangled Shore boasts beautiful sky boxes and color schemes that Destiny has become known for: ranges of royal purples and blues to rusty oranges and reds. After a few jobs for Spider he tells you about the Skorn base which just happens to be right next door? While recovering some of his supplies, killing off Skorn, and fending off their Barons you eventually come upon the Fanatic, the Skorn Baron priest first brought back by Uldren’s dark ether. He escapes but promises to raise any Skorn and Fallen you kill under one banner and leaves you fighting one of his champions.
After the failed infiltration you then hunt the Barons across the shore. A few boasting interesting and lore wise awesome arenas. One uses a Hive Ascendant realm to augment his size and power to bend the minds of some hive that crashed to the shore following the death of Oryx the Taken King. Another has you chasing her as she rides her pike through a mobile battlefield. Of course a few sleeper stimulant shots make all the fights quicker, each felt unique and interesting even bringing back the disarming mines (yesss) from Prison of Elders. Killing all the Barons leads to the final mission: “Nothing Left to Say” where you chase down the Fanatic and Uldren before the can finish their plans. This culminates in a battle with a brand new enemy and a much more interesting story: what is actually going on? Uldren turns out to have been possessed by the voice of Riven, the last Ahamkara, a type of powerful wish dragon that had been Taken by Savathûn sister to Oryx. Uldren under this possession frees Riven and causes a blight upon the Dreaming City, the secret of the Awoken. You kill the Chimera that spawns from Uldrens ritual and watch a final scene: your guardian raising the Ace of Spades to Uldrens head just as he had done to Cayde, with Petra at your side aiming her gun at him also. Then it cuts to black and gunshot (or is it gunshots?) Cayde is avenged but what has happened to the dreaming city?
The Endgame has an entire dedicated patrol zone of the beautiful dreaming city. Only seeing it firsthand does it justice. Contained within are multiple secrets from mysterious Taken eggs around the area (since spawned in by the raid completion) to invisible chests only revealed by tinctures of queensfoil which also reveal rifts that challenge guardians to multiple different trials from jump puzzles to survival gauntlets. Also on the third week of the three week cycle a dungeon, a sort of three person raid, called The Shattered Throne is available to further challenge you. It is honestly a magnificent addition and I can only hope more are added in.
Next let’s talk about the weapon overhaul or reversion fusion? Almost all weapon types (excluding the heaviest of heavy hitters) have guns that can go into the Kinetic or Elemental/ Special weapon slots creating the fusion between Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 weapon slots. Your basic primary guns use white ammo boxes: scout rifles, hand cannons, smgs, pulse rifles, and sidearms. Your special weapons use green boxes: shotguns, sniper rifles, fusion rifles, and grenade launchers. Now these can all be either kinetic or elemental weapons depending on each gun. It makes plenty of sense in game don’t worry. Heavies are still on that dank purple, so all your rocket launchers, linear fusion rifles, drum grenade launchers, and heavy sniper rifles along with a few other edge case guns like the ever entertaining Tractor Gun. This revamp of the weapon system alone was vital in the longevity of Destiny 2.
Now onto the newest game mode: Gambit. A mix of PvE and PvP where two teams of four compete to fill a “bank” with motes of light and summon a Primeval to destroy. Also when banking 5, 10, or 15 motes you send a blocker that shuts down your enemy’s bank until the defeat it. Additionally, at certain points a portal opens up that allows you or a teammate to invade the enemy teams map to try and take them out. Getting kills causes them to lose motes or if their Primeval is live, cause it to heal. This knifes edge balance is quite a fun game type especially with a group of 4 friends.
All in all Forsaken has proven to be a wonderful return to Destiny 2 and the Lore that has been revealed is truly awesome and immense and I cannot wait to have more. I give it a solid 10/10.

I am convinced that if done right, Destiny and Destiny 2 could be badass movies.
It would start with the vanilla story, but add in all the lore from the grimoir cards. We would see an Exo wake up and meet their fire team. The titan would be a POC girl and our warlock could be a guy who turns to Ikora as a role modle. We could see this team grow together and even lose fights. None of the "well they're the heroes so they never lose" bullshit. We could see the vangaurd warn them and have Cayde-6 show up to rescue them with Zavala and Ikora. See the vangaurd flex a bit. Then its Vangaurd teaming up with our new heroes to go fight atheon in the vault of glass!
The second movie would be "The Dark Below" and climax with the Crota raid. We meet 3 new gaurdians and instead of any of them forming the standard love intrest they juat become a fucking team. The end of this one is the raid team in the tower and Ikora's ghost recieves a distress signal from the reef. BOOM! HOUSE OF WOLVES.
We start the 3rd movie "The Taken King." It drops into a battle of the reef vs the house of wolves. We finish off Skolas then we get the Phoboes distress beacon. BOOYAH WE SEE OUR TEAM FIGHT THE TAKEN. Again we end in the raid. Seeing Oryx float off into space.
Next is "Rise of Iron" and the first scene is Saladin recaping the legend of the Iron Lords. It slowly fades to the vangaurd talking about Felwinter. They reach out to the gaurdians again, but now it's 3 new gaurdians we havent met. We have a black human hunter with the dope ass "iron man inside helmet" view at first. And where are these new badasses? The prison of elders bitch! They get summoned to the tower and told to go check out the iron temple. Now one of the big moments we get in this will be that for the big raid, Saladin Shiro and FUCKING SHAX join our gaurdians to fight siva!
Im gonna stop here but...please gaurdians add on more of what you think would be amazing in said movies!

Legends Never Die - Chapter One
A/N: This is only my second time writing Destiny fanfiction, so please don't kill me if I get something wrong.
Please do let me know, though, and I'll try to go back and fix it.
This fic is based on a fan-theory I had, which part of it proved to be true (the part about ghosts being drained of their light), but I'll leave it at that. i don't want to spoil the fic. Lt's just say, the information on dead ghosts came straight out of the Destiny grimoire, which inspired this.
I WILL be going just a little canon-divergent later on, but that's not till the very end of the fic.
Also, this may start out a little slow, but the first chapter is a basic introduction to the characters. I was in a hurry, I apologise. chapter 2 will be quite a bit longer, and chapter 3 is where the real story begins.
Also, I love to hear reviews, so please, if you like, review.
thanks!
-----------------------------------------
They say that legends never die.
The speaker here in the tower tells us that Gaurdians can never die.
But that, my friends, is a lie.
I know.
There is a story behind how I came to know that Gaurdians CAN die.
This is that story.
---------------------------------------
A male voice drifted across the green landscape of the Cosmodrone, nearly drowned out by the sound of sparrow engines.
"Come on, Kalara, hurry it up! you're gonna make us late to the party!"
Three sparrows raced across the bright grassy landscape. For what seemed like the umpteenth time that hour, Kalara Baxtin sighed. The warlock-class gaurdian hit the boost on her sparrow to catch up, hoping she didn't wwreck into an unseen boulder making a turn again. Or, heaven forbid, run off the edge of some sudden chasm, which would send her teammates into fits of laughter and calls of "Rookie!, Rookie!" They raced up a steep slope and Kalara slowed down.
"Why ya slowin down? come on Kalara. Yer making us look bad here! Wer're not roookies, you know!" the Hunter called over his shoulder. "Yeah, YOU aren't." Kalara mumbled. She maneuvered carefully around a giant boulder (aha, there WAS one on this route after all) and down the other side of the rise.
Ahead of them, the towering walls of the old Cosmodrome rose high into the blue terran sky. It's once-great walls now smeared with rust and grime. The Cosmodrome had once been a proud place of interstellar travel and trade. Now, it's tarmats were littered with the corpes of ruined and long-since discarded ships.
Across the short flat space she went, they were allready up the railed rise, a chasm on the other side of the dusty area from the metal barrier, she boosted up the rise.
And right into the corner of the building.
Kalara was glad her teammates were already further on, otherwise she might have had to listen to more of their inscessant jabs and cajoling.
they probably meant for it to be friendly teasing, but after a while it really started to hurt.
The purple-clad Gaurdian hopped off her sparrow and sprinted up to where the other two were allready fighting fallen, just in time to see Gavin, Titan class and their team leader, punch the Fallen Captain in the face.
The ugly creature roared in rage, and Gavin punched it again. It staggered back and fell.
a Dreg appeared out of nowhere and Kalara whirled, channeling light energy instinctively and landing and open-handed strike on the center of it's chest. The creature glowed then dissapeared.
Two more followed it.
They had barely gotten close when they fell, almost simultaneously. "Hey Kalara, like my little spot?" a voice called from above. She looked up and Jaren, their Hunter class and team tekkie had somehow gotten onto a high section of.. What WAS that, even? she couldn't tell what the rusted peice of metal jutting out was. She shook her head. He jumped down, doing a double jump midair right over her head and landed next to Gavin.
"Come on, lets go get em!" the two sprinted into the next room.
Kalara reached them just as the summoned their sparrows. she rolled her eyes. "Great. I just love driving inside, not." she muttered, then called aloud "Hey, wait for me, please!"
As they navigated the twisting halls of the old cosmodrome, Kalara took to her comm. "So, are we going to use any strategy for how we attack the enemy this time?"
Gavin canted a grin at Jaren, who commed back "Pshhhhh. When have we ever needed strategy?"
Gavin's slightly deeper voice added "Yeah, why use strategy when you can punch things. that usually gets the point across." he laughed. Kalara rolled her eyes inside her helmet.
"You just like punching things, don't you Gavin?"
"well, I'd be lying if I said no." the Titan chuckled back.
Jaren commented "And I can allways stab something. Ahhhhh. I do like to stab things. And, well, shoot things."
Kalara had tuned him out by now, but the hunter continued. "And I can pick 'em off, too. one by one. 'pew 'pew 'pew! and they go 'Ack, gurglegurglegurgleDEAD."
Now Gavin cut in again "Okay that's enough, Jaren. You're gonna make her lose her lunch. So, Kalara, what's your specialty? energy grenades? open-palmed attack?"
"Talking them to death" Jaren muttered.
"I CAN still hear you, you know."
"Sorry." Jaren didn't sound like it, though.
As the two entered the open space between buildings, they hopped off their sparrows and Jaren immediately double-jumped up onto some wires overhead and over to a rooftop for some sniping. Gavin waded into the midst of all of the crowd, sending Vandals and Dreg alike flying with his 'fist of fury'.
A couple hours passed. Ten patrol beacons found, and the group was still finding Fallen. "Hey Jaren, Titan high-five!"
WHAM
Gavin punched his teammate in the helmet. Jaren laughed.
"High five!"
WHAM!
Though it had a lot less effect than Gavin's punch.
"Boys." Kalara rolled her eyes as she went past
"Hey Kalara..."
the Warlock class whirled and did an open-palmed strike. Jaren went flying. "You're welcome." Kalara bowed sarcastically then walked away.
Another hour passed, hunting down fallen and patrol markers, then as the sky turned darker, the trio headed back out.
"Well, that was fun." Jaren casually strolled alongside his teammates. "Same time again tomorrow?"
"Of couse." Gavin nodded. "Maybe I'll get to use my rocket launcher more this time." he hefted said weapon onto one shoulder.
They transmatted back to their ships and Kalara's comm came on. It was Gavin. "So, what do you want to do back at tower, guys. Jump off the edge? maybe head down to the crucible stands?"
"mmm," kalara thought for a second. "I'm kind of tired. Besides I just borrowed a new data tablet from one of the cryptarchs. Has to do with the vex. I think they are extremely interesting because they are mechanical but can apparently travel through..."
In his own ship Jaren was making "blah blah blah" motions. "Good job, Gavin, had to get her going, didn't you?"
"I CAN hear you." a little irritation had crept into the Gaurdian's voice.
"Sorry." he switched over to a private channel. "So Gavin, what do you think our next mission will be?"
"I dunno. Hope it's something good. But we won't find out floating out here in space."
"How right you are."
And with that, the two headed away, Kalara, once again, following.
They transmatted in at the same time. Two (forgive the pun) towering figues, who struck a heroic pose, just for chuckles, and a good head and shoulders shorter in the middle, Kalara.
The first of the trio to remove his helmet and have his ghost transmat it was Gavin. Dark brown hair, cut close with a sort of "mohawk" where it was a little longer on top. Brown eyes that any girl in the tower might find attractive. well, if not for that long scar running vertically across one eye. And standing at around six feet ( and seven inches), he doubted anyone would want to start something with him. He wasn't the biggest Titan, but he was goood at it.
Then there was Jaren. sandy brown hair, also somewhat tall, 6 ft 1 to be exact. A bit leaner than his Titan teammate, but still a formidable figure. He flexed his muscles at a pair of passing titans, green eyes sparkling. "Ladies. Heloooo." They both looked over, but kept walking. One giggled, the other shook her head at his rediculousness and mumbled something to her friend.
And then there was Kalara. Purple-blue hair, blue eyes, and 97 pounds soaking wet. Well, even dry she was 97 pounds. But Warlocks didn't need muscle or stature, did they?
They all headed in their respective directions. "See you tomorrow, guys." Jaren waved back as they parted. "we're meeting here, right?"
"Yep" Gavin called back.
"Yeah." Kalara nodded.

More Destiny mirrorverse ramblings
So now I have this whole mirrorverse headcannon. The traveler created gaurdians (or rather enforcers ) who enforce its rule of total control. A population subservient and the enforcers seek and conquer humanity's survivors. This is the story...
No one knows just what it wase,or where it came from. A great sweeping light. A wave of churning life-energy.
As the light-cloud caressed each planet in our galaxy, it was transformed. Venus became a lush, tropical paradise. Mercury became a garden world. Human lifespans tripled.
Great cities were built. Humans who had been touched by the light gained great intellect.
But then *it* arrived. Some called it the great subjegator, others simply dubbed it 'the Traveler'.
