It's so funny Crow's first mission as Hunter Vanguard and he crashes yet another ship (this time the HELM!!!) for a known total of 3. Like the Traveler gave him the Radiant Accipiter for a reason because he can't fuckin drive.

Awoken (Chapter 3) - A Destiny 2 Origin Story
Uldren Sov x Original Character
I stumbled out of the cave, colliding with the side of my ship. My head was pounding, and I sat there as the dust settled. W-what was that! That was beyond simple telekinesis. I tore that cave apart. I was a ticking time bomb of uncontrollable energy.
“O child of mine. Be not afraid. I can help.”
“W-Who’s there?”
“I am here.” The voice came from the cave. “Free me, and I can help you.”
Going against what my gut told me, I dug through the rubble till something crawled out. I screamed, crawling back to the ship to put as much distance between me and the creature.
“Ah the sky at last. Thank you, O Child of mine.” A creature, kin to a lizard, sat before me. Its many eyes peering into my soul. “You are afraid. There is no reason to be. I am only here to help you understand who you are.” The creature crawled into my lap, curling into a ball before falling asleep. I sat there terrified that the moment I let my guard down, it would kill me. I had no idea what this thing was or how it was supposed to help me.
“What are you?” I muttered, unable to move. I wracked my brain for any hit of what this could be. The only thing I sensed from it was its paracausal powers. Different from what we Awokens have. This creature was powerful. I purred in my lap before cuddling closer. So, power yet... It’s allowing itself to be vulnerable. The creature is cunning. I reached out for my notebook and pen and began writing about the beast in case it killed me or fled.
It felt like hours passed before it woke. It stretched before jumping off my lap and standing before me. “O child of mine. You passed the first test.”
I titled my head to the side. “Test?”
“I am alive. Trust is a fickle thing.”
“What are you?”
“I go by many names, but you may call me an Ahamkara.”
“Ahamkara?” I’d never heard of it before.
“Yes. As for my proper name... I have yet to give myself one. What is your name, O Child.”
I hesitated. This was likely another test of trust. If I were smart, I would plunge my knife into the create and run. “Aurora,” I wasn’t smart.
“Aurora, what a beautiful name. My next question, Aurora. What are you? I have never laid eyes on a creature with paracausal powers.”
“Awoken,”
“Awoken. Interesting,” The Ahamkara changed shapes into a serpent and snaked around my neck. “Such powerful creatures. Are all Awoken as powerful as you?”
“I-I don’t know.”
“Tsk. How disappointing.” Once again, it changed form, back into its lizard. “I will help you if you want it. To understand these powers that you fear. All you have to do is wish it, O, Aurora, mine.”
“Wish?”
“It is what I do. I grant wishes.”
A knot forms in my stomach. The Ahamkara grants wishes. It was too good to be true, and I knew there would be consequences to any wish I made.
“No?”
The Ahamkara growled. “No? I can grant you the world, and you reject me?!”
“Correct. I don’t need wishes to succeed in life.”
“Is that so? I feel your fear. You fear the power within you, and rightfully so. I can see someone in your future who sees you as an obstacle that must be removed.” I ignored the Ahamkara and walked towards my ship when my vision went dark, and the beast cackled.
“W-what?”
“Let me show you,” The darkness faded, and I was back on the Reef with my brother and mother.
“My family? Ha, they would never hurt me.” I laughed triumphantly.
“Your family does love you, and the problem doesn’t lie with them.” The scene changed again, and now I was on my hands and knees, coughing up blood. My vision was blurry, but when I looked up, I saw Mara Sov with a knife at her side. “This is your enemy. She’s powerful.” Mara said but with the voice of the Ahamkara. “And yet you won’t make a wish to save yourself?”
I stood, wiping the blood from my mouth. “I won’t give anyone the power over me. Not Mara. Not my mother and definitely not you.” Using my powers, I pushed the Ahamkara from my mind, and it stumbled back as I returned to reality.
The Ahamakara howled and bared its fangs. “You insolent child! You will not live to see the life you dream of!”
“Aurora!” The fight stopped before it could begin when I saw someone running towards us. The Ahamkara hissed at the intruder and then hid behind me while I kneeled down and prepared to lunge at my pursuer. “Auro-” I pounced, pinning my attacker down before they had the chance to make the first move. Maybe I should have waited. Once the dust settled, I was face to face with Uldren. “AURORA!” I jumped back and put my knife away. I was in trouble... Big trouble.

THE WAY the ending of Forsaken is so much worse if you're Awoken. Especially because a voiceline confirms that the young wolf is reefborn if you chose to play an Awoken. Do you think Uldren recognized us, in the moments before his death? Do you think PETRA recognized us but couldn't say anything?
