In yet another rendition of “I make art based off of my favorite Destiny 2 dungeons, I give you my poster rendition for The Shattered Throne. This dungeon isn’t necessarily my favorite because of gameplay or anything, I just really like it because it’s super easy now and my friends and I have taken to trying to complete it as fast as possible! With all the herasy talk going on about the first mission, I'd like us to just take a step back and appreciate the absolutely phenomenal voice work done by Morla Gorrondona (Voice of Eris) and Todd Haberkorn (voice of Drifter)

Like D2's always had amazing voice acting, but HERE especially with Drifter and Eris you can hear the pure loss or emotion in their voices

Sorta spoiler territory:

Drifter's "NOOOOOO" when he saw Eris impaled by the tormentor was absolutely visceral, and that's not to mention his desperate dialogue after you get the tablet of ruin, it honestly gave me chills the first time it happened

And Eris

Oh God damn it Eris, the sort of fear you can hear in her voice before she got impaled and also the audio log she left in her apartment... especially the latter, she's trying so hard to keep up the monotone voice but she's falling, there's so much raw emotion behind it and God do I love it to death

So I ended up with more Nahcurii brainrot and worked on a new paperdoll for my Eliknsi OC, Nahcurii.

I'm also in a DnD game and was allowed to play her in it.

So now I have made two outfits for her and am working on more.... I went with the most tropey fantasy outfits possible, but low-key, she's pulling them off >.<

Yes. I'm totally fine and not stressed at all and using drawing my comfort character as a way to alleviate that stress x.x

making an AU based off a show based off a doll line means I go WAY TOO HARD on trying to figure out the fits.

here are the designs for the Ever After High AU !!! :D the story this time around is like. WAY too complicated to explain in one post but like the super duper summarized version is this:

For generations the citizens of Ever After have been following the tradition of signing a magical contract in the Storybook of Legends promising to relive their parents' fairytales to keep the stories alive. But there's a bit of an uproar when the newest Evil Queen in ages refuses to follow her destiny and things start to get a little complicated as the students at Ever After High realize that maybe not everything has been played by the book in the past. When Normal breaks a magic mirror he REALLY wasn't supposed to find, his life and story are thrown into chaos. Add in some wildcard Wonderlandians and now nothing's going according to the script. Is a happily ever after really possible?

The AU doesn't follow the show to an exact T, we mostly borrowed some elements and the initial Raven and Apple conflict so there's quite a lot of surprises in store :3c

Aaaaaaah, I HOPE Monster Capsule GB is releasing in English! I'm a lil worried cause Duel Monsters Expert 6 isn't even though Stairway to the Destined Duel is basically the same game. (I wonder if they'll keep or censor Hirutani's cigarette; the ESRB rating doesn't mention smoking.)

Delighted to announce that we officially have some insight into the Dread and finally their pronouns.

Selin and Yemiq are the two subjugators from the Dual Destiny mission, the final bosses and their lore is on the dungeon gloves. Selin is referred to as they, it and she in the lore! Actually incredibly cool how it's written to make sure it's understandable but undeniable that the same character is using multiple pronouns. Yemiq is also referred to with two pronouns: they and she.

"Their" in this one is referring to Selin (first) and Yemiq (second). And then just below:

In case anyone still doubts, the Witness is only referred to with it/its, including a capital "It" which is interesting:

And finally, the boss of the dungeon, a Dread Psion, uses neopronouns, ey/em:

This is on the exotic sparrow from the dungeon (Future Proof). It's so cool that they did this, although I predict fighting in the trenches about everyone misgendering em.

Extremely neat information though for Dread enjoyers and everyone who wants more about what they're like and how they're evolving.

The rest of the armour lore is quite sad and visceral, talking about how they were made and how they were trying to break free and be something else, but the Witness was able to control them. I am hoping we keep getting more especially now that the Witness is dead. Maybe one day the Dread can be free.

Probably the worst part for me was the leg armour piece where the lore shows that the Grim were made as punishment to Dissenters. The Witness turned some Dissenters into these unthinking and unspeaking creatures that can't do anything. The more we kill them, the more they lose themselves and their identities and memories. Putting that whole section under read more because I'm genuinely devastated:

Okay man. I'm not killing Grim again.
