all the mutant kids go over to their house for storytime with Charles where he tells them about the xmen and the (less graphic version) of Erik’s and his story

Erik knits and crochets a lot so during the winter you can see Charles wearing all his creations

despite being retired and should be napping at home with his husband, Charles helps out at the makeshift school by being a teachers assistant and helping the kids who are behind in their studies (he does tutoring sessions on saturdays)

Erik still tries to help out around the community but his back is now attempting to kill him everytime he doesn’t use his powers, Charles gives him massages

Erik uses hearing aids. He complains he doesn’t need them so now everyone has to yell at him to get his attention

thank god for telepathy, Charles doesn’t have to strain his voice 😭

they both picked up baking as a hobby and they gift baked treats to their neighbors (they get gifts in return)

they spend their evenings debating and playing chess
