I was thinking about the mars rover then I remembered space cores lines where he’s talking about how space is too big and scary boring and he wants to go back home. So I made art based on that

GLaDOS conducts a second retrieval mission for Space Core after Wheatley tells her and Chell that he wasn’t actually happier up there. He’s shut down by the time they find him but GLaDOS is able to repair him and makes a planetarium for him. She likes the cores a little more and actually enjoys his company. At least he’s mindlessly rambling about science instead of tea and the queen.

I do Not understand the sad little boys on tumblr who think they’re some kind of amazing demigod by abusing and degrading and dehumanising the girls they encounter. while i have my disdain for the way this article is written, this is just genuinely such a tragic and upsetting story. cormac mccarthy is a renowned author, and now we know nearly every story is based around this 'muse' of an abused teenager he groomed and essentially kidnapped, who still suffers from the agony of dehumanization by him forming her into his muse, having such immense power over her and her own identification of herself, but also she cannot fully accept what happened to her was genuinely horrible. i feel for her so much and hope she can heal... and it's unfortunate that this will probably only add mystique to mccarthy posthumously, now that he can't be convicted
