ok so a little backstory first. hi !! i am daisy, and i am DONE waiting around for the perfect moment to start my art store. i was overthinking too much to the point where I discarded all my ideas thinking its childish and stupid haha. that's when I saw the tweet about joonies documentary release so the spark in me reignited and I quickly made stickers and art prints to hopefully sell them to armys who came to the theatres but as trashy as my luck is, there seems to be no updates about screening in India and as the days pass by, the pile of stickers and prints sitting in my sweet room is not helping me conjure the bollywood main character vibes every morning I wake up iykwim. so here is me trying my luck on tumblr hoping there are a few desi armys here and there who would love to have some cute stickers for their journals and laptops. oh and you can order are via dm !!

Desi Army anon , I can totally relate. Learning most of Desimys are tkkrs was very shocking for me too. Funny thing is til I saw this ask I did not even realise there would be a fellow non-tkkr Desimy here. When I first joined ARMY, I was very excited to meet fellow desimys who I could talk about BTS with. But anyone I met were mostly tkkrs who were very weird and deranged??You feel kind of not welcome in their spaces, if you are either Jimin or Jikook biased. It led to me staying away from any ARMY interactions for a long time. I have only recently discovered this space and I feel a lot more comfortable here. And nice knowing I am not the only Desimy who is not a tkkrs.

I didn't know the situation was this bad in India, damn.

I had recently came across a jikook edit instagram account who was using bollywood songs for edits. (i'll share if i come across it again) It was pleasantly surprising to learn that there are indian jikookers.

I had the same reaction when i learn that there are korean tkkers too. Like it makes zero sense to ship them in korea where everyone knows about the v-idol+jen-idol dating phase...

A Distant marriage

Since the 12th of September my husband has been gone. He has been staying and traveling throughout North Carolina.

Far away from me, far away from his responsibilities. That is where he needs to be and that is where he wants to be.

For the life of me I cannot understand why he thinks I was cheating on him. Like, just why. I have no reason to cheat. We had sex often. We spent time together. We were in love. There would not have been any reason for me to do that. So confusing. Even now, on the phone via text as I sit here at my desk, he is telling me I am flirting. LOL. Please. How in the fuck is that even possible?

I think he likes it. Honestly, I think he likes fighting. He likes the bickering. So odd to me, as I like peace and quiet. Others will say that isn't true. How can someone who involved in so much drama, not like the drama.

Right now, he is telling me that I am back and forth from the shop to my desk. Like I was outside. In the shop. So weird.

It probably will never change with him. I honestly do not know if I can ever live with it. But for whatever reason, I don't know if I can live without him either. Which makes me want to throw up. I like my freedom. I like being able to do whatever I want whenever I want. I don't like asking for permission and I don't like being questioned about my actions. But here I am married to a control freak with insecurities. Dear lord. I think this will be the death of me. Might want to consider that aspect. Probably not.

I try to be good in life. I really do. Things I have done to other people were never just for my own good. It was for the good of others. And although I know what I have done is wrong and I am not trying to justify it at all, I just know that I if I had it to do over again I would do it differently. For sure. I would have worked harder. I would have done more than I did.

But as in all circumstances, hindsight is 20/20. I have been a non-compliant woman for most of my life that I Can remember. I honestly do not know if I can be the compliant one. There was not a time that I can recall that I did exactly what I was supposed to do or at least what I was told to do. Life is weird. Relationships are weird. Marriage is weird. My husband is weird. I know that I am weird.

We have this situation that I have never been in before. Wait. I was once. The marriage still ended, but it was just a prolonged end.

I just saw him on FaceTime and oh my lord he looks bad. Like really really bad. I have never seen him look at that. This is my husband and I just looked at him and I don't recognize him. Babe. Please get yourself well.

As a desimy myself I am over the moon! BTS were eating desi food. Jimin and Jungkook were trying Paneer which they were figuring out if it was tofu or not! Hobi was literally eating NAAN AND CURRY!!! And that to in desi style. BON VOYAGE 4 IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST!!!

Disclaimer, this is not to shit on BTS members or their music so dont accuse me of spreading negativity

Even if BTS paved the way, stop discrediting 1st and 2nd gen groups (BTS themselves are influenced by Seo Taiji and Bigbang). You also dont necessarily have to like their music but acknowledge them, kpop has been around long before the year 2013.

"Ask a random person in US" americans are again, thinking the entire world revolves around them. How about YOU ask a random person in Southeast Asia.

I also see a lot of Desimys discrediting them too as well with their "ask a random person in India about EXO and they will say 'dishwash bar' but actually even before the popularity of BTS, Kpop and Kdramas has been very popular in the North Eastern region of India since the early 2000s. It fucking annoys me how much this fandom discredits others to make their favourite group look superior.

Also by definition "Paving the Way" means making things easier for your successors to come. If anything BTS paved the way for their ownself because fucking americans are always comparing other groups to them, which is opposite of making things easier.
