😊 Iniziamo la settimana con un'autentica chicca del design italiano: la Mini Coupé, la scala ridotta dell'originale Coupé ideata da Joe Colombo nel 1967.

Con i suoi soli 34 cm di altezza e i suoi nuovi colori, questa lampada racchiude tutta la forza e la sperimentazione che hanno contraddistinto le creazioni di Colombo negli anni Sessanta.

Mini Coupé conserva il profilo riconoscibile e il carattere deciso che hanno reso la collezione Coupé un'icona del design contemporaneo. Ma uno dei tratti più distintivi sono sicuramente le nuove cromie: nero lucido, anodic bronze, rosso scarlet e il mio preferito, il giallo mustard.

Die Oluce Atollo Reihe entwickelte Vico Magistretti bereits 1977 für den italienischen Leuchtenhersteller. Es gibt insgesamt neun verschiedene Modelle, drei davon komplett in Gold, drei in weißem Opalglas sowie drei, die in zwei verschiedenen Oberflächen angeboten werden. Die Atollo 233 wird aus lackiertem Aluminium hergestellt und ist erhältlich in Schwarz oder Weiß. Sie ist mit einem Dimmer auf dem Kabel ausgestattet. Mit einer Höhe von 70 cm sowie einem Schirmdurchmesser von 50 zählt sie zu den größeren Leuchten dieser Serie. Die 235 und die 237 Leuchten werden aus opal geblasenem Murano Glas in Weiß gefertigt und sind auch dimmbar über einen Dimmer auf dem Kabel. Die 235 Tischleuchte ist ebenso groß wie die 233, während die 237 mit einer Höhe von 50 zu den mittelgroßen Leuchten aus dieser Kollektion gehört. Die 236 Ausführung unterscheidet sich von diesen Tischleuchten dadurch, dass sie einen Schalter statt eines Dimmers aufweist. Außerdem ist sie mit einer Höhe von 35 cm eine der kleineren Leuchten dieser Serie ist.

Tobia Scarpa ha superato i confini dello spazio e del tempo.

Figlio dell’architetto Carlo Scarpa, Tobia Scarpa nasce a Venezia il 1° gennaio del 1935. Una volta laureato nel 1960 iniziano le prime collaborazioni: Gavina, Cassina, B&B Italia, che danno vita ad alcuni oggetti diventati celebri, come la poltrona “Soriana” con cui vince il “Compasso d’Oro”, la sedia “Libertà” dal design inconfondibile.

Fondamentale la collaborazione con gli architetti Castiglioni progettisti alla Flos, da cui derivano importanti creazioni: Fantasma (1962), Biagio (1968), Pierrot (1990) e Papillona (1975).

Foglio è una lampada da parete divenuta iconica dagli anni'60 (1966): il concept moderno e le superfici lucide mantengono l'estetica dell'oggetto sempre attuale.

La scocca di Foglio è costituita da una lastra in alluminio, con le estremità arrotondate ripiegate su loro stesse verso il centro della struttura.

I due lembi formano gli alloggi per le lampadine LED. L'apparecchio è dimmerabile. Disponibile in diverse finiture tra cui scegliere: Bianco, Nero, Cromo, Nickel Nero e Oro.

Die Oluce Pascal 345 Stehleuchte ist ein Entwurf von Vico Magistretti aus dem Jahr 1983. Sie verfügt über zwei Leuchtenschirme aus Aluminium, die getrennt voneinander geschaltet werden können. Der obere Schirm gibt sein Licht indirekt an die Decke ab. Gleichzeitig beleuchtet der untere Schirm den oberen, so dass ein Teil des Lichts auch reflektiert in den Raum und nach unten abgegeben wird. Der obere Leuchtenschirm enthält eine integrierte LED, der untere zwei E27-Fassungen für Halogenlampen oder LED Retrofits.

Just a few of Italian designer Joe Colombo's creations, reproduced from the new 304-page @silvanaeditoriale catalogue raisonné 'Joe Colombo: Designer.'⁠ ⁠ The Tube Chair, the Spider lamp and the Boby trolley (now in the collection of MoMA in New York); the “Monoblocks,” such as the Mini-Kitchen or the Total Table with its integrated dishes; the beautiful global housing unit, a visionary “machine” that aims to encompass all the needs of living—these and other icons of Italian design by the brilliant visionary Milanese designer Joe Colombo expressed a total vision of living that was characteristic of his time.⁠ ⁠ This volume—part of Silvana’s series on 20th-century Italian design masters (with previous titles on Sarfatti, Parisi and Arredoluce)—constitutes the first catalogue raisonné of Colombo's work. Around 180 projects are documented, divided between works still in production and historical works, for companies such as Oluce, Kartell, Bieffe, Alessi, Flexform and Boffi. Essays by Ignazia Favata—Colombo’s longterm collaborator—and Domitilla Dardi are completed by a critical anthology.⁠ ⁠ Colombo was born in Milan in 1930. In the early 1950s he worked as an artist, exhibiting alongside Enrico Baj, Lucio Fontana and Roberto Matta, also joining the Concrete art movement. He began to devote himself to design in 1960. In 1962 he opened a design studio in Milan, receiving architectural and design commissions. Among his best-known works are his Kartell chair of 1965; the Spider lamp (winner of the Golden Compass award in 1967); and his halogen light of 1970.
