Making conclusions. When I'm trying to do my best in short term I fail it making mistakes, but when I walk confidently without hurry it takes long time to accomplish set goals. Each time I try to speed up things end up even in longer terms, because then I have to deal with mistakes and discouragement after failures. What conclusion I can make by this? Am I not good to follow up somebody else's plans? I'm very slow phase person if to talk about changes. Over three years I was trying to catch past and compress time of being inconsequent but nothing changed at all, I remained at the same starting point. Then for another three years without hurry I could achieve certain goals traveling on bicycle and even end up here in U.S. Therefore I make a question what will be wise decision to move on and finally reach you. I can put all responsibility over my beloved waiting for another chance to chase after you, but it never worked. Or I can confidently move forward, using opportunities I have step by step. Will you trust me and wait me, that I won't give up on you? For instance, I could ask you to take vacation this summer on Hawaii and meet there, make decisions together and move at the same direction as we decide supporting each other. But I notice women have too many concerns and doubts to ask them step out of personal comfort zone. Thus I'm only person who can take responsibly for arranging life changing moves. Perhaps our mindsets designed this way, woman is better to arrange domestic business, because she can notice way to many details around, and man is better in strategic moves in long term decisions because he can assume and predict consequences and impacts done by each action. If man follows woman it ends up in mess. Woman is great counselor, can give wise advice and reliable support, inspiration and motivation, when man more likely will assume it and use knowledge to make things work rationally and consequent. I think we are designed in beautiful way to work as a team, because without you and love nothing would be done at all. Without woman man is like a car without engine or fuel. And woman without man is like a lottery with endless guesses and desires. We shape each other. Since you won't quit everything for me, changing all your life merely to be together right now, because for woman it's like for a homesick cat all of a sudden dropped among hostile environment, very frustrating and terrific. So let me walk confidently to reach your place first and then nothing could separate us to make a step toward our family. Even if I could drop everything and come at your place right now totally depending on your support, sooner or later it will become a mess. Man should stay on his own feet confidently and firm, then it makes solid ground for comfort of beloved nearby. Can you agree? For this year let's support each other further on, let me work hard and stand-up firm on my feet, supporting myself for living and opening opportunities to move in Korea. I wish the most to use opportunities you already have, but things look like it helps not even a little bit if I cannot reach it making mistakes. At another hand it requires some bold actions from you to be put on risk. If you find courage to come on vacation in U.S. I can only dream about this. I wish we walk together, grow together and achieve goals together, but reality is we are at different levels, and I cannot jump over my head to reach your level and you more likely won't come down to my level to walk upward together again. But if you can be this much brave and can come to live in U.S. for a while for we together move back in Korea, this could be awesome. But it's very rare women be able to do such a step for her man. It could be even easier if we can reach each other in conversation. Here is my life just in case: https://line.me/ti/p/CulxNz1Cnc (id:leon88bluesky +18787771988) Making efforts together we could achieve our goals much faster and build up happy family. I pray God give us wisdom and courage in each step. Always love you, dear Seung-Yeon.

If These Sheets Were States
Chapter One
Words: 1.2k
Warnings: A bit of violence, swearing lots of sickly sweet fluff.
A/N Anything Blue, Bold and Italic is a flashback,
Chapter Two
This room's become a mausoleum, filled with relics of regret Paying dues to every moment wasted, on words left unsaid
21:00 CDT Texas.
“Tony, we’re almost at the computer lab are you in position” Steve asked over the coms. Before he could finish his sentence 5 more of Hydra’s men came barreling around the corner with their guns pointed, all though the bullets wouldn’t do too much damage to Steve, he had been shot enough times to know you would be less than impressed if you came home with another bullet wound. Plus, he knew if anything happened to Natasha you’d be even more pissed. Not that she couldn’t hold her own against the men. As Steve threw his shield, he thought about the last time he’d gotten back from a mission with a couple of bullet wounds. Man, you were so pissed you refused to talk to him for 12 hours. He had to give you your credit, you knew how to hold a grudge.
“Hey Y/N come on I said I was sorry for running into the onslaught of bullets as opposed to waiting for Wanda, but in my defense, I was trying to stop The Hand from setting of an explosion which would have leveled the entire state of Hawaii” Steve said as he pulled you into his lap. He circled his arms around you tight and rubbed circles on the back of your hand.
You let out a sigh, of course you understood why he had done it, he was Captain America for Christ’s sake. You just wished he’d allow his team members help him more instead of running into the line of fire all the time and whilst Steve rubbed circles on the back of you hand and you weren’t really that mad you decided to make him suffer a bit more. So you continued with the silent treatment.
“Hey Natasha, I see you brought backup” Darcy observed, for someone who had been held hostage by Hydra for 8 weeks Darcy seemed pretty chipper. Thankfully other than a bruised cheek she didn’t seem to be in poor shape. “Well I decided to be generous and share the fun around” chortled Natasha. Whilst Natasha cut Darcy free from the chair she was tied too Steve tried to reach Tony again. “Stark come on Natasha’s almost got Darcy free and we’ve got 3 minutes left before the generator kicks back in and we need to get out of here” Steve criticized. “Uh a little busy here Cap” replied Tony “You and Natasha are gonna have to get her out of their yourselves, I’ve got incoming and if you want a clear exit outta here then I’m going to have to hold down the action here a little longer” retorted Stark
Steve knew you weren’t really that mad at him but as you were still giving him the cold shoulder, so he had dragged you out of your apartment to the one place he knew would cheer you up, the Disney Store in Times Square. One of the things Steve loved most about you was how you would prefer to spend an afternoon shopping in the Disney Store as opposed to designer clothing stores. You worked as P.A at Nelson and Murdock Attorneys at Law and you earnt a pretty decent wage, but you preferred value over labels. Steve grabbed your hand and dragged you to the back of the store he knew exactly what he wanted and knew that you wouldn’t be able to stay mad at him for long once he had purchased it.
“Steve, why have you dragged me out of the apartment to bring me here? I’m still mad at you y’know” you furrowed your brow. Steve was dragging you to the back of the store. I’m sure if people hadn’t recognized the man you were with was Captain America, they probably would have been alarmed at the fact you were being dragged through the store.
“Darcy, I need you to hold on tight and trust me, Tony’s caught up trying to hold of the Hydra agent’s our intel severely underestimated how many agents there would be here and once that generator kicks back in Hydra’s agents will be back to check on you and the building once the powers back on” Steve ordered as he kicked a window out.
Steve grabbed the biggest Stitch toy available, he knew you’d had a smaller one in your online basket for 3 months now, he knew you were worried you would look childish if you brought it, so he had decided to buy it for you. Along with some other merchandise he knew you would love. “Steve, let’s just-“before you could finish that sentence Steve shoved the giant Stich toy in your arms.
Darcy landed with a soft thud straight on top of Steve. Before she even had time to register she was lying on top of the hunky blonde haired Avenger Steve had rolled her off him and was pulling Darcy to her feet. “Steve get ready to catch this stupid laptop” Natasha said over the coms, she didn’t wait for Steve’s reply before chucking it out the window. Natasha started backing up preparing to run and jump. Natasha may not be a Super Soldier or a billionaire with a fancy hi-tech suit, but she was a skilled spy and she had made harder jumps than this.
Steve had refused to take no as an answer when it came to the giant Stitch soft toy and the basket full of various Disney items. Including some cute Captain America themed mouse ears, for some reason Stark had given Disney a merchandising contract for all the Avengers back in 2014. Steve had even signed a few autographs to get the employees to personalize the Stitch something usually only done for online orders. “Steve you really don’t have to buy me this, I know it makes me look childish” you mumbled, you could feel your cheeks going red, I mean you were 26 dating the sexiest man you had ever known, an Avenger, THE Captain America and here he was buying you a stuffed toy like you were 10. “Hey somethings got to protect you whilst I’m away on missions, it might as well be this blue alien dog” chuckled Steve. Suddenly Steve realized you were staring at the floor and fidgeting with the bottom of your sweater, something you did when you were anxious. “Hey Y/N look at me, I don’t care that you like soft toys still, I love how you still find comfort in them when there are so many strange things in this world. I don’t think it makes you seem kiddish. I find it adorable and endearing” Steve spoke with such tenderness and love you felt yourself tearing up. Before the tears had time to spill out Steve bent down and place a firm but loving kiss on your lips. “So Please Y/N, let me buy you this strange creature and then we can go back to yours curl up with a film and I will tell you again how sorry I am about running into the line of fire” continued Steve.
“Stark, get moving we’re about two minutes out from Clint. Clint, get ready as soon as we are in that jeep you hit the gas and you get us the hell out of here” barked Steve. Thanks to Tony keeping the fight focused on him Steve and Natasha had been able to get Darcy out of there with minimal interference, however Steve was sure that Hydra had figured out what was going on and would be after them by now. If they didn’t get out of here then the 7 weeks of planning and the 7 weeks away from you would have been for nothing. “Roger that Rogers, - see what I did there?” said Tony.

Master of Disasters
When Steve Slepcevic was 5 years old, his father asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up.
Young Slepcevic said he did not know. But his father did.
“He said, `You’re going to be a doctor. So tell people to call you Dr. Steve,”‘ Slepcevic, more than three decades later, recalled his father saying. “So people started calling me Dr. Steve.”
But Slepcevic eventually dropped the nickname. The son of strict Serbian immigrant parents never made it to medical school.
Instead, he dropped out of Hawthorne High School in the 11th grade to pursue a career in construction.
“I was probably 15 or 16 when I made my mind up that I loved framing and building and being in the outdoors,” Slepcevic said. “And I don’t think he was disappointed because he saw that I was good at it.”
Today, Slepcevic, 50, owns Paramount Disaster Recovery, a Rolling Hills Estates construction company that specializes in rebuilding businesses and homes hit by disaster.
He also organizes conferences to teach businesses and institutions how to deal with natural and man-made disasters.
Slepcevic organized conferences in 12 cities nationwide last year and expects another dozen this year. Attendance ranged from about 150 to 200 at each event, with representatives from businesses, government agencies, hospitals, universities and other institutions attending.
Speakers discuss such topics as data recovery, evacuation plans, stabilizing a building and dealing with insurance companies.
“I found that the businesses that had their plans in place, they had a better chance of recovering than those that didn’t,” he said. “So I set up a second company that has an educational conference called the Disaster Preparedness Summit. Those who respond quickly and effectively save a ton of money and reopen quicker.”
Slepcevic’s first experience with a hurricane came in 1992, when he went to Florida for a project after Hurricane Andrew. He rebuilt a retirement home owned by the parents of a friend.
“It was my first taste of wide-area disaster recovery,” Slepcevic said. “I had done fires and floods in California but on an individual basis. After Florida, I started to realize I wanted to do more wide-area disaster recovery.”
He went on to do work in the aftermath of other hurricanes and disasters, including the 1994 Northridge earthquake and Hurricane Katrina in 2005 on the Gulf Coast.
Slepcevic said he did about $18 million in renovation work from the Northridge quake and $8 million to $9 million from a massive 1995 Texas hail storm.
The Southern California wildfires have kept him “really busy,” he said.
But he has also lost money on some projects.
“I worked Katrina, and we had an office set up in Slidell, La. We made money, but we also lost money because we had some clients who didn’t pay,” he said. “I’m still collecting.”
Slepcevic was born in Akron, Ohio, the middle child between four sisters. The family moved to California a year later.
At 12 years old, he began to help out after school and on weekends with his uncles, who were general contractors.
“At 12 years old, digging ditches and pouring concrete was the norm,” he said.
By the time he was in high school, Slepcevic often worked until 9 or 10 at night.
“At that time, I recognized he had a gift for it,” said his uncle Batta Vujicic who now owns Prime Development in Westlake Village. “And he loved the field. He made a passionate jump into it. And I thought that was going to hold him on for years to come.”
Slepcevic took his first solo project at age 17. His friend’s parents in Hawaii wanted to build a two-car garage.
In about eight days, Slepcevic, with the help of his friend, built the garage.
“There was no money to be made. They gave me room and board and the flight (ticket),” Slepcevic said. “My whole thing is I wanted to get done and get out there and surf.”
Slepcevic then started his own business and bid on his uncles’ jobs while taking engineering and design classes at El Camino College.
“I was doing framing, windows, cabinets, doors,” he recalled.
By 1989, he had acquired his own business license and named his Hawthorne firm Paramount Construction.
He built homes and shopping centers. He eventually began to complete unfinished construction projects that were abandoned by the owner after a foreclosure.
He also started to work on homes that were damaged by fire or flood.
Slepcevic relocated his business to Rolling Hills Estates in 1999.
In 2002, as his disaster work grew, he began Paramount Disaster Recovery.
He says the disaster work is more satisfying.
“I realized, even going to Katrina and seeing people’s faces of confusion and not knowing what they were going to do, these people needed someone to lead them out of their situation,” Slepcevic said.
Name: Steve Slepcevic
