Four years after her father disappears, Meg Murray’s brother Charles Wallace’s new friends Mrs. Which, Mrs. Whatsit, and Mrs. Who send them and Meg’s new friend Calvin O’Keefe tessering through space to find/help rescue him. Kind of bland - through expanding what’s going on for Meg at school (a bully played by #RowanBlanchard, who’s got some demons of her own) and giving us a glimpse of the parents before and outside of the kids was interesting. Changing the message from one of faith in general to one of faith in oneself will be interesting to see play out if they make the rest of the books into movies. They also got rid of the twins who were a nice contrast to Meg, Charles Wallace and their mother’s almost psychic connection, though portraying that onscreen may have been difficult, still could’ve been mentioned in dialogue. The Mrs’ (who are they married to?) outfits were a bit over the top for me, though I liked the interior of the house we found Mrs. Who in (all those books😍) Did she also quote Hamilton the play?! I wish Camazotz had been shown a little more than just the cul de sac before going to the man with the red eyes, and was slightly disappointed that Mrs. Whatsit ended up becoming a large flying brussel sprout-headed lettuce leaf - instead of the iconic winged centaur-like creature. Overall kind of in the same vein as A Series of Unfortunate Events, and The Golden Compass movies...but if it did or does spur more kids to seek out and read the book/s, alright. Hãy đi xem bằng một tấm lòng rộng mở, hãy đi xem bằng tinh thần chuộng sự lạc quan, và nên wiki một tí về nguồn gốc bộ phim. Dưới góc nhìn trẻ thơ hơn, bộ phim rất đẹp và lộng lẫy, những bài học giáo dục đã được tránh giáo điều hết mức có thể bằng tình huống và hành động. Tốt nhất là nên đi xem phim cùng 1 đứa trẻ, sẽ có rất nhiều câu chuyện và từ vựng để dạy, để giải thích cho nó nghe hàng đêm sau đó, thậm chí còn có thể cùng nó học vật lý, và thắp lại sức tưởng tượng cho mình bằng lăng kính trẻ con. Khi bạn đòi hỏi một bộ phim Disney chuyển thể từ một tác phẩm viễn tưởng cho trẻ em phải hợp lý và chặt chẽ thì bạn chính là thứ vô lý nhất cái vũ trụ này 😏😏 Và điều quan trọng nhất sau khi xem bộ phim này là gì? Bạn có thể chê phim dở, chê phim xấu, nhưng đừng bao giờ chê những đứa trẻ diễn xuất trong phim. Thật không thể chịu nổi khi ngồi trong rạp mà ngay bên cạnh, đằng sau, đằng trước có những thể loại não chà bồn cầu ý thức đem lót đít buông ra những lời chê bôi cô bé nữ chính Storm Reid là “nó xấu quá, nó ko xứng với thằng bé kia, đầu tóc thấy ghê mà thằng kia khen được” chỉ vì cô bé da màu và cô bé không được lộng lẫy như những nàng công chúa. Trong khi xem trailer ngoài sự hoành tráng thoáng qua thì chính diễn xuất của cô bé đã khiến toy muốn đi xem. Chả hiểu mấy người đòi hỏi cái gì khi mấy đứa nhỏ này quá tài năng, đi ra phông xanh không có cái mẹ gì để diễn mà diễn thử đi coi làm được không??? 😡😡 #awrinkleintime #movie #disney #stormreid #dericmccabe #levimiller
