Where is Rook with the future N2?

Rook is the wildest, freest spirit that has ever walked this earth. He disappears for months and reappears out of the blue to hang at the Sunset Savanna palace like he completely belongs here. When Vil is away on a shoot, it's not rare that Rook accompanies him so that he doesn't feel lonely. That's their alone time together.

He regularly sends random pictures of sceneries and animals to Jamil and Vil, always sends best wishes on time for birthdays and festivities when he cannot be there, and sends at least one package a week of the most random thing he's found/bought.

He's also the weird uncle of the N2 children. Urcon and him get along an ungodly amount. The guards at the palace regularly find them hiding in bushes and observing the birds and insects flying around. They wax poetry about everything and nothing. Rook is very supportive of all of Urcon's strange interests.

I think tomatoes are a trans vegitable. Like sure it's a "biological fruit" but it likes to be in and fits better in vegitable spaces. In a fruit salad it's out of place and doesn't mesh well with the others, but in a vegitable salad it thrives. I think all ally's should call a tomato a vegitable and respect its identity

This artwork (link below) is giving me sooo many ideas for jayvik x hp crossovers, especially post s2 …. I used to be SUCH A FIEND for harry potter crossover fics (still a fiend for crossover fics in gen) and it would be so cool if like after jayvik get zapped away by the stone they come out the other side in the hp universe and then have to learn how to navigate this world where magic exists?? But in a different form from the arcane and its revered in a way?? and an entire secret society and school exists just to teach kids magic?? And in this school theres no tech, no engineering?? Plus not to mention all the political bs as well omg

And how would they get involved with the school in first place…maybe they pop right into the school? I wish i remembered more from the books bc i feel like theres totally an event i could use but I just can’t remember much outside from like the first two books 😭

I intentionally mentioned that Thrawn is an anti-hero in the books and a villain in Rebels. Thrawn is not morrally grey because he is very clear about his priorities.

He is an anti-hero because he does good things when going to villainous extremes and a villain when he does bad things for heroic reasons.

How many times does it mention how he likes to take "preemptive action" even outside of war? How many people say that is messed up or morally ambiguous at best, and he essentially shrugs? Thrawn steals Hera's Kalikori after he invades her home and uses it to taunt her. He told Ar'alani he would be gone "a few months, a year at most." When he meets her in Treason and she asks him to come home with her because they are losing a war, he refuses.

But, like I said in my post, he respects agency. He hopes to protect his people from outside attacks. These are honorable goals. The books say this very clearly.

The list of his bad choices is quite a long and the list of the good choices is what makes him interesting. However, he refuses to regret the bad ones, continues to make more, and is an excellently well written villain made to contrast the rebel heroes.

I am concerned about Thrawn's characterization.

A key part of why Thrawn is somewhat likeable is how he always encourages independent thinking and dislikes blind obedience. Everything Thrawn does is a calculated choice and he encourages that thoughtfulness in all his subordinates.

He would not want an army chanting his name.

His motivations don't add up. Thrawn always said his loyalty was first to his people and the Empire second. He always said that using the Empire was a means to an end.

If the Empire collapsed, he would not build it up again. He would abandon it. He would start over somewhere else and find a different resource. After all, Thawn steals art. He does not make it.

Thrawn is not a good guy. He outright says he ignores his conscience to accomplish his goals and abandoned the same people he claimed to protect for 20 years. But he was a truly complex villain in Rebels and an anti-hero in the books.

Ahsoka, so far, has flattened one of the most compelling Star Wars characters and I am greatly disappointed.

🐉, scoffing: "I'd like to see them try to get past my lightning arrows first."

🌸: "Well I can't do that for myself. See?"

🐉: "... I'm sorry."

🌸: "Just don't scare people like that again... And, well. Don't you throw cash at me like that next time. Just come over anytime. We could even stream cooking lessons together~"

🐉: "I would appreciate that."

He stays over for a bit more as 🌸 helps him change his name to MDGargoyleEnthusiast instead.
