P: it feels really good to be back. i have worked really hard the past months in the gym and on the pitch so it feels really good to be back.

I: how frustrating is it to be standing on the side, like you have the past months

P: obviously one wants to play football when you are a football player, but i have accepted that i’ve been injured and focused on my rehab and supported the girls. but it’s always a bit frustrating when you can’t play, but i’ve tried to look at the positive side and have worked with my body and my physics so i hopefully won’t get more injuries in the future.

I: and it is a special season as well with wc, it feels like you will be pretty well rested for, have you tried to think a bit like that?

P: yes, you could say that. i have super much energy for the wc, and i also have time now to comeback in a good physical shape. and hopefully i’ll get some matches at the end of the season and then a good precamp w some training matches. then it is wc
