dentistry makes goood money but lots of physical problems like back and neck… and also a lot of dentists aren’t ethical i think they def prioritize money more often which is what i’ve heard but some r so so so seeet my orthodontist (unfortunately an invisalign wearer rn) is so nice omfg

speaking of curing i did this thing today where i was the assistant and helped with a filling on a molar it was so fun but omfg i’m so scared to look at the curing light i swear my visions alr bad enough hellooo but assisting is so fun but my prof is like “yeah no dentitsts are impatient and will get mad at u” so

Yeah my dentists give me a lecture every time I go about brushing my teeth more often. And I’m just like can we just skip this part? like, I get it. I should brush my teeth a heck of a lot more. but also executive dysfunction and sensory issues and apathy mean it’s just not gonna happen more than a couple of times a month. Sticking a jar of disposable floss stick things beside my computer monitor (I am proud of myself for this idea) helped me do that a bunch for a while, daily or even more sometimes, but then it became visual background noise and I lost that habit. :/ At the moment I am making do with rubbing my teeth with my shirt every now and then when I think of it, which is kinda gross but at least has the possibility of disrupting plaque so, *shrug*

Thank you for the kind message 🧡 I was keeping it for good luck until I got the full appointment, and now that it's done the good news is that they decided not to remove the nerve :) I now have a full tooth again and hopefully the cavity won't come back this time 😊

Hi, Do you want to know HOW I END UP IN THIS TRAP? Yep! this course is a trap. So, if you’re thinking to take up this course you should back out LOL kidding!

Dentistry is in my blood line and it is my family’s forte. My grandfather is a dental technician, my aunt is a dentist, my cousin from my mother side is also a dentist and also her father and grandfather and many to mention lol to cut it short most of our family is a dentist and THEY ARE THE REASON WHY I AM HERE.

At first, I don’t like to take this course because I am afraid that I might disappoint them all, especially my grandfather, who really believes in me. I am afraid that one day, they will abandon me because I am a total failure. But, I have no choice. We are known as a family of dentist and I need to be one of them, they said. As time goes by, I am starting to like this course. I fell in love with the tools that they are using. lol weird isn’t it? I am loving the mouth mirror, explorer, suction, bib and the sound of compressor. I know I am weird HAHAHA.

Before I fell in love with DENTISTRY being a well known ARCHITECT is my dream since I was a little girl. I really want to design a unique houses to those people who trust my talent. I want to be the next architect in our family since my uncle is the first one to attain the title. I love architecture so much to the point that I refused my aunts offer. I chose my own path away from her, but it didn’t work out. My mom and dad can’t afford to send me to college because we are not financially well. my dad’s work is just a cook at Julies and my mom doesn’t have one. Since I have no choice, I went and talk to my aunt about college and as I’ve expected, I should take up DENTISTRY if I want to graduate and be successful in the future.

I didn’t regret my choice. Dentistry may be a trap but being trap inside is fun. DENTISTRY IS LIFE.
