Hello everyone! Please meet my precious son Uriel. He’s a disaster son of Poseidon who is probably too curious for his own good. Here are some headcanons about him:

--Uriel is originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico. He moved to New Athens with his mother when he was four years old.

--His mother’s name is Esmeralda Ayala-Magaña, his father is Poseidon.

--Typical of children of Poseidon, Uriel loves the water. He loves swimming, boating, and diving.

--Is incredibly spacey, curious, and has a tendency to say things that are a little too blunt sometimes.

--The boy eats way too much sweets for his own good.

--Uriel is close to his mother, but their relationship can become strained at times as Uriel has a tendency to wander off and go off the grid for a few days at a time without saying anything.

--Uriel’s studying math at college, as it was one of the few subjects he excelled at in school.

--A big cuddler, forever the lil spoon even if he has lots of muscles.

--Was a competitive diver in high school and still takes up the hobby every once in a while.

Puck is a mess who was born to Olivia Cooper in Connecticut. His dad is Hermes and his mom met him on a spring break to Puerto Rico. A hot kind mess breeds a fellow hot kind mess u feel me

Puck would steal candy bars from the convenience store where his mom worked at on the regular starting when he was three years old.

Puck met his best friend Celia when he was fifteen years old and trying to steal her suitcase and they’ve been basically inseparable ever since due to Puck immediately giving her back her suitcase and turning into a babbling fool when she confronted him on it.

Puck and his cousin, Cleo, are the only demigods in their family and it’s something they bonded over before either of them even realized what they really were. They bonded over being different.

Puck got his job as a track and field coach when he brought Celia lunch at work one day and saw the track coach. Screamed at him for having poor form in his running abilities, and proceeded to show the guy up and basically steal his job.

meet vincenzo fiorello esposito,

about:

the son of hyperion and the only heir to a very profitable vineyard, vincenzo was born into a life of wealth and privilege. anything he wanted, he got it, no questions ask. 

his mother was very into traveling, a loved that she passed on to her son. before he turned five, he’d already seen most of europe. as he grew older, they visited more and more countries. 

at some point his mother realized her son would benefit from some structure and a formal education, so she enrolled him in an international boarding school in switzerland, which he hated. but he kept his mouth shut, knowing his mother could find somewhere far worse. 

and truth be told, the school wasn’t bad- he earned a good education and had plenty of opportunity to dominate on the sports fields. both of which enabled him to rise in terms of popularity. 

for as long as he could remember, vincenzo dreamed of growing up and becoming a journalist. so upon completion of high school, he did just that. he enrolled at nyu and spent the next three years working towards his degree.

and while there was plenty of partying and fun to be had, he was a devoted student, always eager to learn, and often going above and beyond his classmates. it was this determination that enabled him to graduate in three years with a job lined up. 

it was only after his college graduation, when vincenzo was starting to make a name for himself in the world of journalism that the monster attacks got bad. he’d been left alone most of his life, and all the sudden he couldn’t go more than a couple of days without a monster showing up. 

eventually it got so bad that he was a danger to those around him, so reluctantly he put his career on hold and packed up to move to new athens. the move has been quite an adjustment for vincenzo, he’s gone from a life of luxury to well, a life. unable to find work as a journalist, he’s been forced to start working as a bartender.

fun facts:

his dream is to visit all seven continents - to date he’s been to five, all that remain are australia and antartica. 

he’s been playing football ( soccer ) and tennis for as long as he can remember, and he’s pretty good at both of them. 

he’s known how to play the piano since he was four, and he’s quite good at it- though he doesn’t like to talk about it. he has found that it makes a good party trick.

his favorite person in the entire world is his younger brother leo, who’s like five. he’d do anything for him, and he’s proof that vinny has a human side.

as a child of hyperion, he possesses both photokinesis and pyrokinesis- his pyrokinetic abilities being more defined, due to his near obsessive nature. 

he lives in the moment for the moment, all about having a good time.

Lyra is the daughter of Urania and Craig Macmillan. Lyra grew up being educated on Greek myths, even being named after a constellation that contains one of the brightest stars in the night sky as her father’s way of paying tribute to her mother

Urania, also being the goddess of fortune telling, had a bigger influence of Lyra’s life than she expected.

When she was 5, she correctly predicted that her dad would end up marrying one of his coworkers and it was only after she correctly guessed she was going to have a little sister (she was 8) that her dad asked her to please stop telling him these things

Lyra got her first pack of tarot cards when she was 10 years old from her step-mother. she still has them but barely ever uses them due to the sentimental value.

Lyra moved to New Athens at age 12 after too many monster attacks became too much for her to want to handle the responsibility of putting her family in danger

━━  * ✩  ❛  min yoongi ; male ; he/him  ◇  i saw NERO PARK in town yesterday, rumour has it they’re the TWENTY-SIX year old CHILD OF HADES who is an AUTHOR. they’ve been living here for FOUR YEARS and people often say they’re really dependable and empathetic, although if you ask me they also seem quite aloof and gloomy. they really remind me of ARSONISTS LULLABY by HOZIER– oh, you’ve never heard that one? well, they also remind me of sitting by the fireplace on a stormy night, the smell of freshly brewed coffee in the morning and the clicking of keys on a laptop.

Hello there! I’m Aly and I’ll be playing my broody baby, Nero. He appears cold and apathetic on the outside, but is actually a big softie! There’ll be a little info on him under the cut, but for those who want to know more I’ll have his bio page up soon! I’m super excited to plot and write with you guys~ ♥

Though hes not technically an only child, due to his father being Hades and all, Nero is his mother’s only child and he’s a bit of a mama’s boy because of this. Nero respects his mother greatly for everything she did for him growing up, because Gods know he wasn’t perfect.

His mother was the sole provider for their little household, meaning money was tight and he didn’t always have the newest toys or the most stylish clothes, but he did know he’d always have his mother’s love.

Despite being a very cheery and social child growing up, Nero became quite withdrawn once he reached the age of ten. This was around the time that his Godly powers surfaced and he began seeing and communicating with the dead, something that really messed with his mind.

Things only got worse once he hit puberty. Nero was resentful towards his father, whose identity he still didn’t know, for abandoning them and troubled by his odd abilities. He began to act out quite a bit and only really halted his rebellious behavior when his mother begged him and tearfully revealed the truth behind his absentee father.

Despite the troubles he caused, Nero graduated high school without any issue. He didn’t continue on to college, due to his family’s lack of funds, but did begin writing his first novel while working as a receptionist at a publishing company.

Nero published his first novel when he was twenty-one years old. It was an instant success and he was praised by critics for his haunting narrative and unpredictable twists. Unfortunately, the praise and success only added more pressure on him to deliver an equally amazing second novel.

A year after his book was published, Nero had a small breakdown and ran away to New Athens for safety and peace. He had hoped the change in scenery would also inspire him, but four years later is still struggling with writing his second novel.

Fun fact: Nero is a polyglot! Due to his mother being Korean and raising him in the States, he is fluent in both English and Korean. Because of his Godly parentage, Nero is also fluent in Ancient Greek!
