Anon who asked about a klaroline fic recently here! It was not human, they were vampires/original. And from what I remember, it was ff.net. Caroline lived in a dorm with Elena, Klaus was in New Orleans. I don't remember how they got to talking or dating, just that one instance with the performance thingy.
I appreciate you looking into this!
Hey anon, @demi-cool found the fic you were looking for: Chapter 9 of Taking Care of the Other One by ssklarolinewrites on ff.net.

Hello! I wanted to recommend the fic My Love Paramour by Ambienthands
It's a morally grey fic, agreed, but as someone who's been through abusive relationships, it's an accurate representation of how abusive relationships often leave you with less ways to escape and leave you scrambling to find comfort however you can. I'm not saying cheating is right, again, but the fic shows how sometimes morals aren't black and white. It's worth a read, I think.

You know who would be at Tony's funeral? Pepper Happy Rhodey Peter May and Morgan. Maybe Harley idk
You know who wouldn't be?
Steve Rogers, Thor, Bucky Barnes, Clint Barton, Wanda Maximoff, Sam Wilson, Scott Lang, Hank Pym, Hope Van Dyne, anyone else who was there for no reason at all.
What a scam that shit was
right!
in my opinion, keeping the scene where they all kneel for him on the battlefield rather than having so many people at his funeral would have worked a lot better. all those people you listed in the second half are his “colleagues” if you will. he maintains no personal relationships with any of them and they arent on that level of friendship or have any kind of bond that warrants going to his funeral.
the scene where they kneel is so much better because they’re paying respects to what he did in battle to save the universe. it makes sense because they were all fighters and they all fought alongside each other. they know tony in that field rather than in a personal field.
yes having so many people at the funeral was the russos way of saying “look we have a huge budget, watch us waste it in 2 minutes” and to make tony out to be this big hero who everyone loved and admired, but it’s just not true and doesn’t make sense for his character.
a funeral is a really personal thing too so like why would pepper be inviting people like bucky or wanda or carol or hank?? for one, some of these people tried to kill tony, hated tony, barely knew tony, were merely on a first name basis with tony, only worked with tony, had never even met tony, or literally spent a few days with him one time ten years ago. and as if she’d want any of these random people, most of who she has never met, around her when she is grieving anyway? it didn’t make any sense!!!! the kneel after the battle was so much better because it lacked the personal touch that so many of the relationships tony had with these characters did too. it was still respect, but on the most part, respect for someone at a conceivable and realistic distance
