Who’s romantic development in game was your fav of your OCs x their partner? (Aka who’s romance development within the story hit the most for you?)

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm

honestly, p r o b a b l y nyx and garrus because i think there's something to be gained from a companion that goes from friend to romance over the course of three games. like that is a LOT of time for that relationship to progress in a way that just feels so natural and also makes so much sense for those characters

i think garrus and tali benefit a lot from being the only two romances who are, like, companions in each of the games so you really get a lot of actual in-game content for the two of them even if they're not romanceable in the first game

but yeah as far as actual in game content, def nyx and garrus!!

I think a close runner up would be Gale BUT I AM GONNA LEVEL I MISSED OUT ON LIKE ALL OF GALE'S EARLY ROMANCE SCENES???????????????????? SOMEHOW?????????????????? LIKE PEOPLE WOULD REFER TO THEM AND I JUST NEVER TRIGGERED THEM (probably needed to long rest more woops) so maybe one day when i have endless amounts of free time i'll do a bg3 replay as Delvyre where I don't do anything different except actually see those scenes lmao.

YES! ok my faves in no particular order:

Delvyre: In my head, Shadowheart and Lae'zel get together in the events of the game (and since Shadowzel + gale was typically my party makeup it was funny to send them on the world's worst double date to defeat the Absolute). And when Lae'zel goes to the astral plane, shart comes to live w del and gale for a bit and del helps her cope with missing her gf :')

Avis: im a fenbela apologist but in like a queerplatonic fwb way

Camille: No. 1 Stabby shipper in the house, much to Tabitha's chagrin

Nyx: I'm also a jackanda truther and I think this double date situation would be hilarious

Isadora: adoribull but also i think isadora encourages josephine and blackwall bc im indulgent like that (i also have a stupid idea that will never manifest about isadora's younger sister and blackwall but that's another story lmao)

Avis x Anders: This is funny because they go right from friends to sleeping together to hey do you wanna move in, so I don’t even know if they ever get a proper first date…. Maybe a walk by the coast lmao

Delvyre x Gale: Also funny because they would not have their proper first date till after the events of the game, in which case Gale would probably take her to the best restaurant in Baldur’s Gate (that was open after all the damage) that he could find and wine and dine her to the max. And then they’d go dancing, and she would be very bad at it but they would have a wonderful time. 

#16. Do they steal each others clothes and does it sometimes end with them also claiming some of them as their own after a long while of "borrowing" it already?

Avis x Anders: She steals that feathered coat all the time and he pretends to be mad but she falls asleep wearing it and he's incredibly charmed by that

Delvyre x Gale: They share fancy silk robes all the time. And also jewelry.

in your playthrough of bg3 with delvyre, what school of magic did you give to gale? i just think there could be interesting parallels with their schools of magic!

Oooh!! Hello anon!

SO I did actually think about this a lot and I DID consider the paralleels, and I ended up giving Gale conjuration, since he mentions conjuring Tara, creating that portal when he was a student, etc. I also thought it felt most traditionally cerebral, and that felt very Gale to me.

also for the fun little parallel, I always leaned on Ice spells for gale (and there's a lot of Ice-related conjuration spells, so it was easy) to contrast Del's fire affinity. I also personally feel like there's the most parallel between those spells (this is based on me sometimes picking things and being like wait a second why is that conjuration and not evocation or vice verse), so I def headcanon a lot of teaching moments between the two of them hehe
