Recently got back into the Jurassic park fanfics - & it’s been an interesting trip through memory lane. But there’s one I’m sure existed at some point, all I can accurately remember is that Gray Mitchell can turn into some kind of giant otter? And at some point played keep easy with the Raptors? The Raptor Squad (Personified)

So I was rewatching JW: Camp Cretaceous and it gave me the idea to draw the raptor squad again, with a few changes in their designs.

Attention fans of the Bad Batch and Jurassic World! New story idea!

Considering the similarities between these two groups, a story line has sprung forth and I would like to share it. And get some help to anyone interested in the idea.

Essentially before, during and post the bad batch show. The raptor squad ( yes I’m keeping that name) are a team of highly trained hybrids for animal rescue and rehabilitation. The animals in question are the dinosaurs created by Ingen (similar to the clones but the dinosaurs were created for entertainment)

After the events of the first JW movie but in space. The dinosaurs have escaped or have been taken from the now destroyed park. They are wondering the galaxy or are some rich imperial’s pet. The girls are more humanoid in this. Appearance wise they are human but with raptor traits. Sharp elongated claws/ fingers, tails, serrated curved teeth, and yellow eyes. Their pupils change depending on extreme mood shift (or going feral as they call it) and they’re all around 7 ft tall not counting Charlie. She’s around Hunter’s height.

And as some of you might have guessed I will be shipping them.

Hunter x Blue: they’re both the leaders of their respective parties, they have a mutual interest and respect for each other.

Wrecker x Delta: the first ship that came to mind honestly. Both are headstrong and reckless. Delta is more aggressive than her sisters. She’d see a challenge in Wrecker in the best way possible. Wrecker gives me Himbo energy and I think that’s perfect.

Crosshair x Charlie: this one starts more one sided like a school crush. She’s Cross’ opposite in every way. She loves the tall, dark, and broody boy. All while Cross is oblivious to it.

Echo x Echo: (same name hah) this one was more funny than anything else. Both have something about themselves that makes them insecure/ different from the others. Tbb Echo is more mechanical and JW Echo has a scar on her mouth. (She hides it via face mask) both are interested in the other’s differences and what caused them. Still deciding if theirs will be romantic or platonic.

Of course Omega is still in this and so is Tech (he lives) Phee is with him so no Dino romance for him. But he does get to absorb all the new knowledge on dinosaurs. And the girls love a nerd who knows his stuff. Claire and Owen are here too, I made Claire a twi'lek (unless someone has a different idea) Owen is human as he’s the girls dad both as a mentor and they have his genetic material.

i had some people unsure if the saar edit was a drawover and i am happy to inform that it is, in fact, a model lmao. his model itself is a modified delta, which i think fits pretty well. the backdrop, m-raptor and dinomation where put in a team in the melonds emulator, and then ripped as one big scene using melonripper. the rest of it is drawover though lol all the sz statuses are edited in

Make It So Friday

This was a middle grade book based in the world of the animated series Star Trek Prodigy. The crew is travelling through the Delta Quadrant when they find that their transporter coil is toast. And, so they find a dodgy sort of trading planet and go down. And, not surprisingly, get into a bunch of trouble.

It was a fun read. And, I actually believed in the ending. It actually made sense and wasn’t contrived. A nice addition to the Prodigy world for sure. It’s also the start of a series. So, two more books to go in the Prodigy world.

What do you like most about the Raptor Squad from jurassic world? What if the four had a team attack?

THE RAPTOR SQUAD? man i love them for alot of things but to start off the most obvious one i think its their individuality

i remember going thru the behind the scenes stuff and noticing the tiny little individual details in their models- the fact that delta and charlie have more prominent crests (like the jp 3 raptors) and blue and echo dont,

i also noticed some slight changes in texture between them (echo and blue)

echos (left) muzzle is slightly rougher than blues around the ridges which i think is because the official artbook (idk if it was that) of the movie stated that echos DNA is filled with bearded dragon- another thing that i like about them which is having different DNA gaps filled in- you can see how blues ridge is smooth as hell instead !

this is because blue and echo fought for dominance over the group but echo obviously lost and had to get jaw surgery or something, but its little details like this that i also like

they seem to have different personalities judging by their body language, and im pretty sure some site also said that delta is actually the oldest while charlie is the youngest (could be blue being the oldest though, i really dont know their lore is scuffy)

lastly to not make this too long i obviously love how they have so many colors going on due to the different DNA gaps, while other raptors usually looked the same in a group. if im not mistaken blues DNA has black-throated monitor, delta's im not sure and i dont think i remember, echos bearded dragon and charlie the green iguana ^^

and about the other question- i wouldve loved if they lived on so the other movies had them together, maybe they couldve had a team attack with the atrociraptors- i dont know, wouldve been cool i think, i already expected blue to fight red somewhat due to the merch but guess not :/

really bummed out they just all got killed off like that, they have so many unique things going on, and it sucks how little echo was shown in the movie imo not just cause shes my favorite but her colors are the most unique besides blue- not even her merch gets it right smh

i mean just look at her man
